Fixing You.

Robin peeled off his mask to rub at his tired eyes. They were swollen and red, a combination of lack of sleep and frustrated tears.

It had been 2 months since Raven had left. They lost all their battles. Cyborg ceased shouting "Boo-yah!" Beast Boy accidentally ate meat and didn't notice. Starfire painted her nails black. Nobody talked, and the misery hung thick in the air.

It's all your fault, Robin mentally told himself. You hurt her. You made her cry. You broke her.

He found himself walking towards her room, mask back in place. He leaned against the cool metal of her door, fingers reaching for the key pad to type in the code. But he never touched it.

She had been about to let him in to her sacred room when he had snapped at her. She missed a mission. Vital meditation, she had said. But he hadn't listened. Slade had gotten away, and he had redirected his anger on her.

She would never let him in her room now.

And he would respect her wishes.

2 months too late.

Robin sighed, and carried on up to the roof. Rain pelted down on him as he stood on her favourite meditation spot. Opening out his arms and turning his head to the roaring heavens, he cried out to her through the black.

"Come back Raven! Come back and let me fix you!"

But she wouldn't, he knew and he collapsed to the floor and cried.

A hand stroked his back, soothing him. Robin's head snapped up to see Raven.

She knelt down next to him and wrapped her arms around him as he buried his face in her chest.

"No, Robin." She said; a faint smile on her lips. "I came back so I could fix you."

He drew back and ripped of his mask, the wind carrying it out to sea. Raven watched it and swallowed. She had forgiven him, Robin. But without his mask, she was about to meet someone entirely different.

His now gloveless hand rested on her cheek, tilting her head so that her amethyst eyes met his stormy blues.

She smiled. It was still Robin, still who she knew, and yet different all the same.

His hand was stroking her cheek, hers running through his soaking hair.

He leaned down and kissed her.

I was made to be broken she had said. I came back so I could fix you.

Only I can make her cry.
