"I want to finish this and I'm not going by the rule (3, 6, 9) anymore. I'll just go where my muse takes me" I said years ago, I found this on my USB drive and thought might as well have a spring clean and post this on . Enjoy the Jina goodness.

I head-canon that Nina loves and owns YSL perfumes and that Jin watched her swim during his time in Brisbane (before T4) - You can find this scene in Chapter 6 of my fic So Much More.

RATED M. Be warned.

*Lull & Storm*

They don't announce it to the world that they're husband and wife. No. Jin thinks. He doesn't have the awful grandiose approach like Heihachi Mishima did. Nina insisted on witnesses. Jin had Alisa record it. Neither of them had people they could trust. It was just them, a document and an android.

In his absence, Heihachi would try to retake the Zaibatsu. A non-supernatural being could not fight him off. They'd have to rely on the law for the Zaibatsu not to fall back into Heihachi's hands. This is why this marriage was necessary.

There was no other reasons.

And then there was that kiss. Nina kissed him.

Jin looks at the spreadsheet in front of him. Minor Zaibatsu details. Deciding he had enough of numbers and data, he turns off his laptop.

Nina lies back on a sofa by the window, watching the storm in a trance. Like a cat. He hadn't realized there was a thunderstorm outside. He also hadn't caught a moment where Nina wasn't busy with work. Here she was, carefree and in her element. She was also in a purple slinky satin dress and her bare legs hung over the arm of the sofa. Today must have been Sunday.

"Am I disturbing you?" He asks.

"Nope, just remembering the time I went swimming in the rain. I was in a hotel in Brisbane, it began to lash out like this and I just jumped in the outdoor pool."

Amused, he smiles. He remembered that.

"Sounds risky."

"That's why I did it. Because no one else dared to. It was fun."

"Do you want to step outside?" Jin teases. "I don't know if we have an outdoor pool but..,"

"No. Been there. Done that."

"Then what do you want to do?"

She takes a deep breath and looks at him. There's something behind her eyes. Something wicked.

"Ever had sex during the storm?"

There's a big moment of silence before Jin answers. "No."

Nina chuckles. "Do you want to?"

"It never crossed my mind." He replies sheepishly, his neck started to feel warm. Jin undoes one button. Then another.

"It crossed mine." She admits.

Jin looks at the raindrops against the window. He feels Nina shift and swing her legs over back onto the plush floor. "You don't strike me as the type to be romantic. You're like me, a statue. We don't feel anything."

She gets up. Comes to him and puts a hand under his chin. Makes her look at him. The touch electrifies him. Were they going to kiss again?

She leans in closer, the side of her face near his. Her warm breath kisses his skin. They were like two passing ships in the darkness of the night. Almost close enough to touch. Jin forces himself to stay still, to not react and to not break. Just like the countless times he had trained.

"Yes?" Nina whispers in Japanese.

The sound of her voice sinks deep into him and threatens to make his body betray him. Jin tries to keep his focus on the Avant Garde painting on the wall. The lingering fragrance of Nina's designer perfume draws him in.

His heart hammers fast as she climbs on top of him. Hands slide over his chest.

"Feel anything?" Nina murmurs.

"No." Jin grits his teeth.

She softly brushes his bangs. He relaxes as he looks into her blue eyes, even in the dark, they always stayed bright.

Nina slowly leans forwards till her lips are close to his neck. "How about now?"

Jin pulls her back only to press his lips against hers. He gives in. Let's himself have this moment.

The kiss is slow and gentle at first, like a lull.

Nina kisses him back. Deepens it.

He doesn't know much about his future. He doesn't know what tomorrow will hold. Nina wouldn't judge him. That fact comforts him. When they stop, she whispers in his ear.

"I'm on birth control."

In between kisses, they end up in his bedroom.

It's still raining outside. Jin doesn't know where to put his hands or if he should kiss her again. He lets Nina take them and move them to where she'd like him to touch. He learns she was most sensitive on her hips, her lower back, waist and…..breasts.

Jin's clothes suddenly feel tight and constricting. He wasn't a prude. He knew about this thanks to school but this was new to him. What if he changed into the devil during this?!

"Do you want this?" Nina asks, stepping back.

"Yes." He whispers, catching his breath.

Devil hadn't shown up so far. Or even said something suggestive.

He pulls her back, loving the way her chest felt against his. It was a new but nice feeling. She jumps up and wraps her legs around his waist. He holds her and walks towards the bed.

.

When she sinks down onto him, Jin gasps and bites his bottom lip at the new sensation.

.

.

.

Rolling over his king sized bed, naked with a naked Nina draped around him, Jin loses himself in her. He lets her go on top. Lets her lead and show him. The way she grinds her hips into his as she holds his wrists above his head make him shudder.

The thunder groans outside and the rain smashes against the glass.

Jin muffles his moan into her neck as the pleasure ignites his entire body.

Some nights he sleeps alone. On others, he invites Nina. Devil never showed up. Jin is pleased. He would hate it if it snatched something that rightfully belonged to him.

She doesn't say it but he knows it's meant to be only physical. When their bodies join again in a hedonistic dance, he feels like holding her in his arms. Because he doesn't want her to slip away.

Sometimes Jin watches Nina fall asleep beside him. Her golden hair tickles his bare arms. She looks so peaceful, so unlike the focused assassin he was familiar to.

One night, a monster visits him again. Azazel.

Jin feels his body move, fists bared, a roar coming from him and pain shooting into his skin. This is your destiny! The Devil's blood runs through you Jin…

He falls off, feeling as if he's being suspended in the air.

Wings sprout and then…

It feels like an eternity when he can open his eyes. It's dark.

"Jin? Are you alright? Jin?" Nina asks him, hovering over the edge of the bed. She reaches out to him. Her breath sounds as if she had fought a battle.

Then it sinks in. He can't even breathe.

I could have hurt you!

He can't even say those words as he struggles to get back on his feet.

The lightening outside flashes, sending a momentary bright blitz into the room. Jin moves away from the bed without preamble. Then leaves.

"She was a worthy quarry." The devil's voice rings in Jin's ears, cackling with the shattering rain. "Let's go back for seconds!"

Shut up.
