Because out of the two, Jin would be the more emotional one. :D

Jin was a man of few words but an excellent conversationalist when it came to writing. Growing up, his mother wrote many letters to different people but never posted it. Instead she'd shred up and recycle the papers. Once he asked her about it and she replied it was like catharsis, to pour one's heart on paper even if the words never reached the intended person.
So Jin, as a child began writing to his father. Asking if he and his mother weren't good enough for him. Then when Ogre killed his mother, Jin began writing to her during his time with Heihachi. When he was in Australia he stopped. It was a habit he wanted to stop. A memory he wanted to protect and conceal.
When his possible end now near and the days he missed Nina's presence, he began to write to her. All the words he wanted to say but was to nervous to tell her. Sometimes they were like a short story, about their first fated meeting and their time in Brisbane. Sometimes they took on a haiku like form and described his emotions towards her. Of what an ideal future together would be like. He conjured up the idea of them having twins. A boy and a girl. The devil gene did not exist. Their son would be a mama's boy like him. Their daughter would be a daddy's girl like her. Sometimes Jin even illustrated a happy family life in these letters. It was corny but somehow he knew Nina would protect her kids even if she wasn't typical mother material. In those letters, he assured her that she was not devoid of humanity. It was an assurance and hope for her to lead a better life. His letters to her always ended in three words.
He wanted her to remember him, to leave his mark on her and for him she'd grieve if he was truly gone. It was selfish so he burnt the letters. It would be honorable to let her go but what kind of life was a black and white one? They say it was better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. One day, he was about to burn a letter he wrote and hadn't found it in it's usual hiding place.
Panic set in. The only one to have been in his office was himself and the blonde.
And the devil.
What have you done? Jin accuses in silence.
The monster cackles to life. I posted it to her.

A/N: I had another version of this, it was a lighthearted one about Nina and Jin sorting out hatemail from the world and tons of creepy love letters from Xiaoyu. But didn't post it because I don't think it belongs in this story. Plus Alisa's chainsaws needed a rest from shredding up those unwanted mail. Oh and I headcanon that Alisa is also Jin's personal paper shredder. He just didn't admit that to Lars.
