Luvduchess: Thanks. 😊 And here I was thinking, I could have turned up the heat dial higher. I take it that 15 is your favorite chapter. Jina is meant to be a passionate couple, it feels wrong if they're not having both loving and passionate intimate times. You know, some fics on here have turned the heat up higher than I have. I do wonder what does 'Taunchy' mean. I didn't find it in the dictionary. What's this new word you speak of lol?

Evelyn: I always wondered what exactly went down in that pit while Jin was falling, did he pass out? Did he began beating Azazel? How the hell did his clothes get torn off? How on earth did the guy go from being under the temple to miles away in sand? We never got to see and it will always be a mystery. T7 did not feel like a continuation of T6 at all, you're right. It felt like some crossover anime fanfic that didn't pull my interest and that boring reporter…oh dear, he didn't help. Tekken wasn't Tekken and I am not a fan of the idea of crossovers. Only the Nina scenes mattered and the brief scenes of Jin. That's it. Everything else, I didn't care for. Would have been better if Nina was the one to get Jin. And in T8, Nina is likely to go back to squabbling with Anna again.

As always, thanks for reading and reviewing.

She approaches Jin in the middle of a stand-off with the ex-captain. Her heels clack against the glass floor and once she's by Jin's side, she looks at him. His frown drops as he turns to her. With a heavy heart, the blue eyes of hers speak to him. In a brief look that asks, 'You finished? We have to go'

He wastes no time in following her. Leaving the enemy behind.

Of course, the blonde man calls out and stops both of them in their tracks. Nina usually would be pissed at someone getting in their way but a part of her was grateful. Holding Jin back from getting hurt by Azazel, from going someplace she wasn't even sure he'd come back from.

"Alisa, disable safe mode and then reboot."

It would keep the wayward soldier busy. The next few seconds are counted by Alisa while Lars is wondering out loud what the hell was going on.

"Standing by for next command." Alisa utters, as she's suspended up in the air.

Jin stands away from everyone, Nina watches him intently from his side. When the fairy robot is in the air, awaiting his next orders, the blonde now understands why Jin held her back from going after Lars straight way. This is going to be fun.

Jin sure did know how to make his woman's heart swoon.

That's my man, she silently thinks sending a smirk at Jin's way.

Somehow Nina knew that even he was smirking too.

Unable to take her eyes off Jin, she is stunned at his sneaky and strategic move. Even she had no idea what he was planning but was greatly pleased at his stunt. She loved it even.

Jin's command reaches the wires of Alisa, momentarily making her forget the wire that connected her and Lars. The blonde man obviously didn't know Jin was handing him a parting gift. Of course it was imperative that he had to be humbled and face fearing the loss of a loved one because he was so judgemental against them both.

Nina knows that it's just a distraction and the blonde loverboy will find a way to restore that connection.

Lucky him, she thinks bitterly.

When he confessed his love during their date at Vermillion gates, Nina was speechless. Her mind went blank. Not because she didn't feel the same, but Jin had such an effect on her that she had to go and think about his words, let it marinate in her mind and give her that tingly feels as she lay thinking about it in bed. When the letter he wrote got to her, his words hinted at such a feeling and she already somehow knew how he felt about her. Such words had to be timed well she concluded, to make the moment impactful. Nina wanted Jin to feel what she felt when he confessed. That same rush of emotions, mind going blank, heart pounding and aching.

She knew Jin was aware that she was in love with him without her saying it. Even before she gave him that ring.

"Tuesday." He says all of a sudden. "Every tuesday, we will meet at our ivory tower after this."

Ivory tower was the nickname for their secret bunker. She'd visit that place on that day for him.

"Agreed." Nina whispers.

Her hand rests on his warm one in the car, on the way to the airport. He idly caress her cold hand with a thumb.

When they board the luxurious jet plane, Nina and Jin sit side by side to each other. As soon as the take-off, Nina breaks the silence.

"I swear Jin, if you're not back in time and I have to sleep in a cold bed for a few days, I will punish you." Nina mutters under her breath.

He chuckles. "My icy lady can't thrive without my body heat can she?"

"You made me get used to your fire. Now deal with it. "

"We have an invisible wire that connects us to each other." He replies. "I'll wire over my warmth to you."

Ha. Very funny.

However, it was true, they both had this connection that stemmed from the moment they met. Of course they didn't understand it back then until they spent more time together. Out of the small bunch of people she cared about, Nina drew strength from Jin the most. They have a profound bond, deeper and stronger than they had with anyone else who was still living in this world.

"I don't want just your warmth. I want you." She confesses with a sigh.

"I want you too." Jin replies and their fingers intertwine as their lips meet.

Later when their plane has landed and after they get up from their seats, Jin swiftly moves behind her. Taking her by surprise, he wraps his arms around her chest. Her hands instantly go up to press against his arms, keeping them in place. Jin cranes his face to hers, brushing his cheek gently against hers. Nina murmurs at the touch, rubbing into his touch in a cat-like fashion, with her eyes closed. She couldn't resist it whenever they touched especially like this.

"My eternal love." His deep but soft voice fills her ears.

She imagines that his dark eyes are intense and she shivers. His lips caresses her earlobe. Jin whispers again.

"Mo Shíorghrá."

Her eyes widens and her breath hitches. She loves the way it rolled off his tongue, oh that sound! Nina blushes. So he researched the meaning. Of course he would, researching things was a hobby of his. She just didn't expect him to utter something to her in Gaelic words and that too perfectly. As if he'd been practicing the pronunciation until he got it right, just for her. Despite his fated battle with Azazel, Jin took the time to put her at ease. He was always a master of distracting her from pressing matters.

Sometimes it felt as if there wasn't a war going on.

Like they were in their little bubble, the two of them.

As if he wasn't going someplace where she may lose him.

Nina is counting on that invisible wire to bring them back to each other.

A/N: That secret bunker of Jina's looks similar to Raven's stage in SC mode. Nina seemed to be impressed with it so I figured it would be nice if she and Jin had a little safe hideaway.
