Helga G. Pataki had been through hell and back repeatedly in her short lifetime. Given her highly dysfunctional household. Her perfect sister Olga, an alcoholic mother, Miriam, and her workaholic father, Bob. Years of being neglected moreover abused took a toll on the young girl. This gross mistreatment led Helga to obsessively love the one person who fulfilled her idea of care. Arnold Shortman.

Finally, after returning from their jungle adventure, Helga and Arnold were a couple. However, Helga still missed living in her actual home they'd been forced out of because her dad couldn't get with the times.

He point-blank refused to cease marketing obsolete beepers! Instead of upgrading to cellphones! Residing in a filthy flea-bitten retail store made things graver than ever. Ultimately fate seemed to throw her bone. A grotesque intoxicated gentleman came into the building then ended up stripping what was left in it.

The theft ultimately forced Big Bob to start marketing cell phones. Which then allowed the family to repurchase their home and move back in. Thank whoever that intruder was. At least Helga wasn't destitute anymore!

The rejection myth

Rejection is simply someone's opinion. Please don't allow it to mean anything more than that.
