Toph threw her apple core as she stepped outside. She had been packing and doing laundry all day so they could leave for the temple tomorrow. And while Aang was out, she worked on the jade beads for his necklace- it was almost finished.

She stretched her arms over her head. It was evening time, but she wanted to do some bending before heading to bed. (It helped to release some pent up energy that she seemed to have a lot of lately…)

Toph started to make her way to the back of the house, towards the clearing. But something stopped her.

Or rather, someone.

She blinked as she stomped on the ground a little harder. She sensed the movement of her husband and felt amazed. Was this him going all out?

Toph stood in awe as she sensed his forms, the grace with which his body moved and spun as he switched from element to element. She could feel the absolute power that he held, and the way his muscles coiled and rippled.

This man was beautiful.

She felt the urge again- the desire to touch him. To run her fingers all over his body. She wanted to know him intimately.

Toph swallowed and leaned against the wall of the inn, trying to keep herself from jumping him. How could Aang have such a physical effect on her when he wasn't even near her? She imagined what it would feel like to be connected with him in the most intimate way. Again, she felt that fire racing through her veins, burning her, making her stomach tighten with desire.

"Toph? Are you alright?"

Her husband's concerned voice pulled her a bit out of her reverie. "Aang…"

He raised an eyebrow at her, coming closer to rest a hand on her forehead. "I felt your heart racing, are you getting sick?"

"Aang."

"And your face is all red." He patted her cheeks. "There's probably a healer in town-"

"Aang will you shut up and kiss me."

He blinked down at her in confusion, blushing lightly. "I- um. If you wan-"

She groaned and grabbed his tunic, forcefully pulling him down to her lips.

Aang made a noise, surprised by her sudden passion. He wasn't gonna complain though.

He'd been about to come in for a shower when he sensed Toph step outside. And he decided to show off a little. This was the payoff apparently... He had hoped her heart racing had to do with him.

Aang pushed her against the wall, his fingers gripping at her hips eagerly. Spirits, he wanted her.

Was she ready yet though?

He wasn't sure, but by the way Toph was running her hands over him he was quickly losing the power of coherent thought.

Aang was getting a crick in his neck from bending down, "Can I lift you up?"

Toph nodded eagerly so he grasped her ass- loving the sound she made in response- and pushed her up the wall so that their faces were level. Kissing was much easier this way.

Toph wrapped her legs around him, and Aang felt a whine leave his throat as their groins pressed together. She was warm and soft and it felt good to push his semi hard on into her and hear her answering moan.

Their tongues brushed together, and Aang buried his fingers into her loose hair, his other hand staying on her round butt to squeeze occasionally.

Toph sucked on his tongue and he had to physically stop himself from grinding into her- how he wanted to rip her clothes off and take her right there against the wall.

But he couldn't do that yet. Aang pulled away, somehow having the self control to stop himself when his pretty wife was moaning into his mouth.

"We should stop."

"I don't want to stop, Aang."

Aang groaned and rested his forehead on hers. "Spirits, T. You're going to kill me."

He was regaining his wits and realized they needed to stop. He started to pull away and Toph frowned, tightening her legs around his waist. "I'm serious! I want to have-"

Aang put a hand over her mouth. "Someone is coming, so maybe don't finish that sentence."

Toph felt her eyebrows furrow- someone was coming here? She unwound her legs to get her feet on the ground. Sure enough one person was approaching the small inn- they were almost at the front door.

She sighed in annoyance.

"Later." Aang pecked her lips before making sure she had her footing. She patted down her hair as they walked towards the front together.

A new voice called to them, "Oh! Avatar, I have urgent news for you!"

Aang grimaced. Urgent news was usually not good news.

He took the letter from the messenger boy and unfolded it quickly when he saw the Water Tribe seal on it.

His eyes scanned the letter and his lips stretched into a smile. "Suki had her baby!"

Toph smiled softly at him, "That's great news, Aang."

Aang frowned slightly as he finished reading. "They want me to fly down and see them."

"Okay…" Toph's eyebrows furrowed, "Wait, what do you mean fly?"

"You'll see." Aang grinned.

Toph narrowed her eyes. "I don't like your tone."

He waved his hand at her. "But I want to go home first, we were leaving tomorrow anyways." He turned to the messenger, "Do you have parchment so I can write a correspondence?"

"Yes sire, right here."

Toph sighed. "I'm going inside then."

Aang reached for her retreating hand, raising it to his lips and placing a soft kiss there. "I'll be right in, T."

She felt a little breathless just from a simple hand kiss. She walked back inside in a daze until she sat down on the large bed. And then she realized...

If he was going to come join her in the bedroom…

Toph quickly threw off her clothes and changed into one of the sexy underwear sets. Hopefully they would pick up where they left off.

Toph settled a robe over her shoulders and tied it shut. It would be a nice surprise for him to see what was underneath.

If he ever came back inside. Toph huffed and got into the bed, making herself comfortable. They could continue when he got back, but it wouldn't hurt to rest her eyes...

End Notes:

How did we like seeing a bit from Aang's POV?

I was going to have an opposite teasing scene but this flowed better. Maybe the teasing will have to wait for later ;)

Another cliffhanger I'm so mean to y'all. I promise it will pay off.
