The Murder of Reverend Susan Green:

On the road called Castleton Towers stood the St Alphaeus Ashram which was owned by Professor Velma Plum.
The next day dawned Mr Harry Black who was a chapel reader went to the Our Lady of Light Chapel to do some silent prayer. When he entered the chapel he couldn't believe his eyes Reverend Susan Green was lying lifeless on the chapel floor. She'd been murdered! Harry frantically rushed out of the chapel and headed to Professor Velma Plum and informed her of what he'd seen.
Velma immediately contacted Hermione Pivotson and Jack Marvilleston who were private detectives. Harry explained to them what had happened. The detectives decided to investigate St Alphaeus Ashram to see for themselves.

After an examination on Reverend Susan Green's body it was concluded that Reverend Susan Green had struck a blow to the head by an unknown instrument.

Once the property had been searched they found a brass candlestick in the bottom drawer of a Welsh dresser which was situated in the dinning room wrapped in a piece of cloth and covered in blood! Hermione and Jack also spoke to the residents of the Ashram they include Lieutenant George Mustard a retired army officer, Mrs Eliza Peacock the housekeeper, Mr Mike Scarlet the entertainer, Dr Irene Orchid a doctor who specialised in archaeology and Father Winston White a retired vicar. Once the interviews were over Hermione and Jack were very suspicioius of Father Winston White due to the answers he gave to their questions as well as his body language.
That same afternoon a row rang out through the Ashram in the lounge between Mr Harry Black the chapel reader and Father Winston White the retired vicar .

"Father, we're living in the twenty first century ! Women should be allowed to have roles such as being a vicar!" Harry said.

"Absolutely not! It's forbidden for women to be vicars in the church as they'll make the holy altar impure!" roared Winston

Hermione and Jack entered the lounge. Hermione faced Father Winston White .
"So it was you who murdered Reverend Susan Green!" said Hermione.

Winston nodded and was soon arrested and taken to Somerset police station where he was interviewed and was going to go on trial for the crime he had committed.
