Supercarrier Tsumashi
Captain Sora was on the Bridge of the SuperCarrier Tsumashi. Final preparations for take off were being made. Apparently the way they're going to explore another was not via rocket ship, but very clearly through the use of a ship that's going to open a portal to this other world.
Then a sailor came by with a report "Captain Sora." The sailor saluted, surprisingly enough, it was one of the American sailors who came with the report "the Tsumashi is ready for departure at your command." The American sailor reported.
"We will leave in T-minus five minutes, have all men on deck prepare departure, apparently going through this portal to get to other worlds isn't exactly the smoothest ride." I said, the sailor nodded then saluted and left.
After another five minutes a sailor comes by, "Captain the ship is ready for launch," reported the sailor.
"Good prepare to open the portal, full steam ahead!" I ordered, then as soon as she gave that order the carrier launched forward with a slight jolt, and the ship got moving.
"Godspeed Crew of Tsumashi." Said Admiral Smith over the radio.
"Godspeed Admiral." I said, we couldn't open the portal directly in the dock, sadly we had to sail out at least a mile, at that point we're at a safe enough distance from the site to where we won't cause it to collapse in itself.
After 2 minutes of sailing the radio crackles to life, "Crew of Tsumashi you're currently a mile out you can perform transference safely." Reported CP.
"Acknowledged CP." I responded "Prepare for transfer, all hands to battle stations and brace for impact, go to high alert Alpha!" I ordered, obediently the entire crew began to prepare, red alarms began blare, then when all stations were ready, a blue wall opened in front of the Carrier. Then the ship began to go through it.
When the ship was in the portal, it was rough, it was like going through turbulence on a plane, there was very well a good chance that the ship could've been damaged during the transference.
When the ship exited the blue, strange hellscape of moving shapes that was apparently the 11th dimension according to the onboard scientists, luckily there was no damage to the ship, along with a few personnel having minor injuries.
Then I looked out of the bridge's windows, there was just only blue ocean, there was no longer any evidence of the cold waters and light snow that was present during launch.
It was warmer than it was in Alaska, so many men took off they're jackets and stored them in their personal storage chests.
The sky was clear, crispy blue compared to the dark grey the sky was in Alaska at the time of leave.
"Send out scout planes to find any nearby land masses!" I ordered, then two F-18 Super Hornets were sent out.
Oram Village
Kingdom of Aka
People of the small Village of Oram went about their daily lives, children ran through the roads playing with each other, mothers preparing lunch for their families, fishermen bringing in their catch to sell to the market. Ships we're leaving the small dock of the village. Overall it was a peaceful day like many others, until it was interrupted by the sound of a deep loud roar.
The villagers stopped what they're doing to see where that sound was coming from, panic was slowly spreading. The sound didn't stop. One girl wearing the outfit of a Nun of the Akan Church, noticed where the sound was coming from. It was a silhouette of a bird, it's wings didn't flap, it was probably because of the speed it was flying at cause just as soon as she noticed it, it disappeared over the horizon. Then seconds later it came back but it disappeared over the horizon again this time out towards sea.
This girl's name was Sakura Miko, she wore a white and red kimono, that was the mandatory uniform for any female Church member whenever they're out in public.
Sakura saw where the dragon came from; it was in the direction of the village docks. She quickly ran there, when she arrived she heard a low loud rumbling similar to the dragon from before, but it was louder like it was closer. Then there was a crowd around the docks. She couldn't see what exactly was going outside of the loud noise, but she could easily tell people were talking to each other.
"Hey what's going on?" She asked, and two men turned her way.
"Sakura-Chan, we'll we don't know, this metal water dragon just came out of the horizon, and docked here."
"Hey somethings happening!" She could hear someone yell.
Sakura squeezed through the crowd, she was small, since she is currently nine years old.
After going through the small crowd, Sakura reached the front and saw what she could explain with her limited knowledge of dragons, was a grey metal wyvern that's floating via what seems to be the usages of fire and wind magic. She couldn't explain what it was as trying to understand it was giving her a headache.
But then something akin to a trapdoor opened in the back and it gave off a sound that she didn't know what to call. When the trap door finished opening three people came out. Their clothes were very high quality, they were followed by people in white.
Two of them were men, the one in the middle was a girl who was much younger than the two men to her sides.
Then she spoke.
10 minutes earlier
Super Carrier Tsumashi
"Captain, our scout squadron has spotted a village, and is heading back as we speak." Reported the radio officer.
"All right, prepare a landing craft for the diplomats, I will join in the meeting." I said, while getting up, "Mr. Wright, and Mr. Senizawa, are you ready to make first contact in this world?" I asked the two diplomats.
"Yes we are Captain." Said Mr Wright.
"Alright let's head to the landing craft then. Commander Hoshimachi, make sure to watch over the ship while we wait." I ordered my subordinate, also an old friend of mine, we've known each other since Junior High. She always wanted to become a singer so why join the navy but that was a question for another time.
"Yes ma'am." She responded.
Then I left with diplomats to go below deck.
Unlike most aircraft carriers especially super carriers, the Tsumashi or the Liberty was built to hold many experimental tech, where extra planes would typically be held now to be replaced where Mechs were being held, but they were here to get on a new boat, that's a plane that flies close to the water. It's called a landing craft, it has large wings around 20 ft in length, rockets on the wings giving it lift, apparently this design was actually built by the Soviet Union first, and after its collapse it's creator was demoted, and is currently dead, but the design was brought back to life apparently back in 2003 after the Takami lake incident.
The diplomats and I got onto the landing craft along with some men. Everybody put on headsets, then one of my men knocked on the pilot's door, signaling for take off, and seconds later the plane took off.
Feeling the increased gravity, everybody's body was pressed back, while the plane accelerated to 90 knots.
Within minutes the plane arrived at the spotted village.
The plane slowed down to dock at the village's small dock. Then it turned around, began to hover, and the back hangar door opened up with a soft hum, then the sound of the jets took over my eardrum.
There was a large crowd forming around the small dock, wondering what kind of beast came.
I then stepped down the landing crafts ramp onto the village's small dock.
I could tell the people were fearful, in an attempt to ease the mood I spoke first "People of this village, don't worry we come in peace we would like to talk with the leader of your village." I said, then out came a elderly man, his white greyish hair, starting to bald from age. He was escorted by a young woman.
"That would be me. I am the leader of this village, we could talk somewhere more private if you want." The older man said.
"That would be great," said Mr. Wright, coming forward to show himself behind the heavily armed men in white.
"Then follow me," said the village chief, as he said that the small crowd opened up to let us through. Without telling my men they started to follow us.
The village seemed to be built similarly to Japanese houses before the late modern era. With sliding doors, ceramic red roofs. Whenever we passed by a house people would quickly go into their houses and close their doors and watch from the safety of their homes.
"The people seem to be scared of us." Said one of my men.
"They do, I wonder why?" Said Mr. Senizawa.
"It's because the people of this village have never seen outsiders before even if we're on an island near the coast. We're somewhat isolated from the rest of the kingdom." Said the village chief.
"What kingdom are we in?" Mr. Wright asked.
"We're in the Kingdom of Aka, we're on the southwestern portion of the continent south of the Eleven Empire."
"I would like to know more about this country." Mr. Wright said.
"I will tell you more about the kingdom when we arrive at my house." Said the village chief, we then continued walking.
After another 4 minutes of walking we arrived at the village chiefs house.
The chief opened the door for the three of us while my men stood outside. The only reason why I was present was to give a report on how contact with the natives went.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am village chief Sakura Subaru, and I am also the head priest of the local temple here." Mr. Sakura said.
"I am Mr. Wright. I am a diplomat from the United States of America."
"I am Mr. Senizawa, a diplomat from the Nation of Japan."
"And I am Captain Tokino Sora, a naval commander of the JMSDF. The naval branch of the Japanese military."
The village chief just nodded, although he did look at me for a second like he wanted to say something but didn't.
"I believe you have some questions about the Aka Kingdom." The village chief said, he then brought out a small map that shows the local region, which we couldn't read.
But the village chief would answer our questions without us asking.
"We are in Oram Village. My great great Grandfather founded this village, we are on the small island of Sakura." He then pointed to a small island that's barely a kilometer out from the mainland but that still meant they were somewhat isolated since they're not on a trade route and isn't considered a stopping point for any merchants.
The village chief continued "the nearest largest city would be the Capitol." He then pointed onto a star about 50 kilometers north west. "But if you stretch the definition of city we have the town of Mika on the mainland." He added. There was also the Imperium, a country to the west about 1000 kilometers away.
"The more Northern you go the more populated it gets, these southern areas have been barely settled in the past 80 years." He added, we then went onto the currency, apparently dollar bills are worthless but surprisingly enough coins made out of metal are worth something.
After he answered all of our questions we began to answer his questions.
"So you mean your people came from another world?!" He was surprised. "I've heard rumors about the Imperium, and Elves use a rumored magic that can take them to another world but I believe it doesn't work with large scale armies or ships. I'm not knowledgeable in the subject so you may have to ask the church about that, but even then I don't know if they have the information on that." He said, after that we gained his permission to have some of our troops come by the village as a sort of cultural exchange.
Remis, Capital of the Elven Empire
A large crowd was protesting in front of the Imperial Palace. The people were angry at the humiliating defeat by the barbarians on the magicless world of Gaia eleven years earlier.
"Reinvade the barbarians!" A Elf's yelled, it was raised high, some others were protesting about the loss of loved ones and wanting to avenge them. Overall the people were angry about the loss of their most powerful force in the entire world.
The elite mage Corp which was wiped out from an unknown force that could rival most of the mages powers despite no magic being detected off of them. That was a problem, no modern mana equipment could detect them, so new ways of detecting enemy aircraft and machinery had to be created and then came in radar equipment.
"What is the progress on the recovery of the Elite Mage Corp?" Asked a blonde man, he wore very fancy clothing made with the most fabulous and expensive cloth this world has seen, he wore a golden crown with jewels in it, he also had longer ears than a human, if anybody with a knowledge of fantasy they would assume he was an elf, and they would be correct. He was the Emperor of the Elven Empire, his name was Cleon III.
"Sadly we've barely made any progress on finding any capable mages being able to operate even the most simple of gravity manipulation." The aide reported, the emperor clicked his tongue in anger.
"Why is it taking so long to recover the Elite Mage Corp?!" He asked in anger.
"It's just that it takes decades for an elite mage to be fully trained from a young age, about a century for a master to be trained." The aide answered the Emperor's question.
"I see." He said pinching the bridge on his nose in annoyance, then continued "How is Project Ultra going?" The emperor asked to change the subject.
"We have successfully created the first radar installations and are currently beginning to build large stationary installations to track enemy movement. We also have successfully detected and tracked the movement of Akanese Dragon Knights patrol routes. So the entire project was successful and now we're building more of these installations on the border with the imperium." The aide reported.
"Good, this will give us an advantage over the barbarians that we tried to civilize 11 years ago. "
"Indeed my lord. Not only that, you have a diplomat from the Republic, they will come by soon. I'll take my leave now so as to not disturb your discussion." The aide then left the throne room leaving the Elven Emperor alone.
After he left theThrone room, the Republic diplomat came to the throne room.
"So what does the republic want to talk about?" He asked.
