50 Kilometers from Elven coast

The Elven Air Force is a proud military organization for being able to protect the skies of the Elven Empire, and many are eager to join. One such pilot who recently passed training was given one Iron Wyvern that was powered by magic.

If anyone from earth looked at it they would think it was made by the Nazis. It was an outdated and obsolete design with many of the same problems the Nazis had with their Jets.

It could only fly at a mere 6,600 meters high compared to the 10000 any modern earth fighter could.

"This is Wyvern 04, my sector's clear heading to sector 10A of the Reno's." Then he saw something: it was a small dot. He assumed it was another Wyvern but was still cautious.

"This is Wyvern 04, is there anyone else in my sector? Over." He said.

"Negative, we see no one on the radar, how far are they out? We don't spot anyone." CP asked.

"Sector 10A is about 20 miles from the mainland, how can you not track the other wyverns?" He wondered, but then it got close. Using thought acceleration he looked at the other Iron Wyvern. It was more sleek than his own, not only that it bore the crest of the sun. Not only that he couldn't see the pilot it was blocked by a gold panel making it impossible to see through it, like it was tainted.

'The sub, wait a minute? Is that… is that our enemy?!' He thought inwardly, he quickly jerked on the flight stick causing the plane to pull a 180 and turn the other direction.

"CP, This is Wyvern 04, we have border violation by an unknown Iron Wyvern, could possibly be the barbarians that massacred our Elite Forces 11 years ago, permission to enter a dog fight with the enemy wyvern!" He requested.

"Permission granted, for the fatherland." CP said.

"For the fatherland." He responded, he then kicked on his Iron Wyverns afterburners attempting to catch up with enemy Wyvern, but it was useless the enemy Wyvern just sped up and just got out of the way like he was nothing more than a fly.

Then he decided to try and get a target lock, when he activated his magical light arrow it got a lock on and then he fired, the enemy Wyvern detecting this, sped up activated his afterburners, and then was followed by a sonic boom.

"The enemy… the enemy just broke the sound barrier?!" He screamed, but then the enemy fired his own light arrow. He quickly activated flares which did nothing to the light arrows. It continued its track towards him, he quickly opened his canopy and bailed followed by his Iron Wyvern above him exploding.

"Captain, one of our scout planes was just attacked, although the assailant was slow and couldn't keep up, but their missile was able to keep up so they were forced to shoot down the plane to prevent more attacks on them." Commander Hoshimachi reported.

"Perfect, a skirmish, well he had all the right to defend himself but blowing up the enemy plane was a bit much wasn't it?" I asked, the two planes should've just had a standoff instead of opening fire at each other.

"Your orders captain?" Commander Hoshimachi asked.

"For now, order all scout planes to fly at 10000 meters outside of the operation height of their planes." I ordered.

"Yes ma'am." Commander Hoshimachi responded, then a report came in.

"Captain the Admiral is calling us." Sailor reported.

"Put him through." I ordered, then the main window for the bridge changed from the ocean to a video call of the Admiral.

"Captain Sora, new orders. 24 hours from now you will attack the Elven Capital of Remis. We're already issuing declaration notices to the Elven Empire. The Elves are the people who attacked Japan at Takami lake." The Admiral ordered, then the video cut, returning to its ocean view, making it clear that he's serious about this.

"So Admiral Smith is not taking any negotiations." Hoshimachi said.

Meanwhile at the Elven Capital of Remis millions of papers fell over the city stating "This is a declaration of war by the United States of America and the Nation of Japan."

"They're a bunch of barbarians for not coming to us personally and declaring it right then and here." An Elf said, he scrunched the paper in his hands.

At the Imperial mansion the Elven king began issuing orders "Have the imperial army be prepared for an attack within the next few days. The navy will increase their patrols along with battleships. The air force will also increase their patrols and have bombers on the ready!" He ordered. Aides running to their posts and sending orders, all the while the imperial family was being evacuated.

"Father, I'll stay to negotiate with the barbarians so we don't have too many losses." Said one of the members of the imperial family, he had blonde hair, along with blue eyes.

The Elven emperor looked at the prince "Don't get captured." Was all the elven emperor's response.

"Yes father, I will not disappoint you." His son replied, then he walked towards the throne room.

"At 14:00 hours the bombers will commence aerial bombardment of the coastal defenses the city has, the Tsumashis' fighters will escort these bombers all the while taking out enemy aircraft. 15 minutes later, the marines will commence a naval invasion along with your robotic heavy infantry, after a beach head is taken armour will be landing." I read the written orders by the Admiral given to her via morse code, I sighed.

"Looks like we'll be going to war again after 70 years. We've been at peace." Sora said to herself.

"You know better than to say we're at peace, we've been at war for the past 11 years Sora." I heard my father say behind me.

"Father, what are you doing here?" I asked, turning around to face him, it was clear he's seen better days.

"I was suddenly and recently transferred up towards Alaska for no revealed reason." He responded.

I sighed at the response "Same as me." I said, then changing the subject I asked him "Rank and file soldier?" I asked my father.

He saluted "Major, Takanashi Youji reporting for duty Ma'am." Major Takanashi reported.

"You know your orders?" I asked.

"No, I was told to come to you as you were given the issued orders." He responded.

"At 14:15 hours you will begin a Naval invasion with your Robotic Heavy Infantry along with the Marines, that's after the airforce softens up their coastal defenses." I told the Major.

"Great I was expecting to be a part of the rear guard but I'm a part of the Vanguard now." My father said to himself.

"You took the vanguard against the Elves at Takami lake 11 years ago. What's so different about this battle?" I asked him.

"This time they're actually prepared for an attack, unlike last time we were surprised attacked and lost over a quarter of our forces in the first few hours of the battle." Takanashi said.

"Which would lead to 95% of the 7th division forces death, the remaining 5% that survived 4% went to drugs, alcohol or even suicide the last 1% would join the Supernatural department." I said somenemly.

"Yep just be glad I'm still alive then no one would've been there for you." He said.

"Yes I am glad." I said, then continued "Send out the orders to your troops. You are dismissed!" I ordered Major Takanashi, he saluted and left my office.

22 hours later over 12 American B-52 Stratofortress' flew over the Elven capital of Remis, very few civilians of the Imperial Capital took the situation seriously, although the Imperial Family going towards the side of caution evacuated to the next largest city inland.

So when they saw the enemy bombers fly over their Capital confusion and fear began to spread around the capital. But when they saw their military's anti-air guns fire they were filled with pride but were quickly refilled with fear as the enemy began to drop bombs over their Capital.

Not a single anti-air gun hit their target, but they thought the interceptors had a chance but they too were either shot out of the sky or outran by the enemy bombers.

Many civilians then began to panic, many started to attempt to flee to the bomb shelters. But then they realized they weren't the targets, the military installations were.

Many noticed there were barely any fighters in the air, over the panic of the people who didn't realize that communication with the airbase was completely cut 10 minutes before the bombers showed up, preventing them from sending a report to HQ.

"How did the enemy slip under our noses, these are large bombers that should've been caught by our radar about 30 minutes ago!" A commander angrily said, and confused at the situation, "wait a minute." The commander said, a wave of realization crossing.

"How long has it been since the last report from the airbase?" He asked a radio operator.

"About 30 minutes ago sir." It wasn't uncommon for a line to hiccup so a report wouldn't be able to get through till a runner came by to check on them then they'll realize that there was something wrong with the report, but even then there were multiple lines so the report would go through no matter if one of the lines mess up.

But this was too suspicious, there were always reserve lines. It was learned after the fourth Elven Imperial War 5 years ago that the usage of radio and manacoms needed to be encrypted allowed the enemy to not let the enemy discover the Imperial army's plans.

"Send a runner to the air base to check on them" The commander ordered, 'there was probably a blockage or they never got word and couldn't get into the air in time.' The commander thought the worst case scenarios were happening in his mind, but a part of him hoped the airbase was still intact.

15 minutes earlier a kilometer from the Rimus airbase there was a group of 18 people in a nearby forest preparing for an operation to sabotage the Elven airbase.

"Ninja 01 ready for action." Said a female voice, she was the leader of the experimental special operative squadron only known as the black ops battalion. Their call sign was Ninja given to them for their ability to disappear at a moment's notice.

What they wore was typical for a special operative squadron, they had goggles that were similar to night vision goggles but were different, they wore a completely completely black uniform, when activated it would copy the surrounding area and from different point of views allowed you to see what's behind them. Basically they're now transparent.

The group began to move quietly and silently through the forest towards the airbase, using IFFs to help keep track of one another and the usage of heat sensors to keep track of each other's movements.

When the group was at the airbases' fence they brought out pliers and broke through the metal fence. When they got into the base they split up into 3 groups.

There was Team A dedicated to the cutting of communications between Enemy HQ and the airbase. Team B was dedicated to the tampering of planes making it impossible to launch the planes without mechanical failure. Then there was Group C, they were dedicated to the tampering of the radar installation at the base making it impossible to detect and track the B2s that are going to fly towards the capital in 30 minutes. It's not like they're going to fly from a carrier but are going to fly through portals opened 2 kilometers off the coast of Remis.

Team A quickly made a new line towards the airbases' traffic control tower and went into the communication room.

It was an empty room dedicated to transmitting messages via morse code. They then cut the lines cutting the line from HQ in Remis and the airbase making it impossible to communicate efficiently.

"Target Alpha has been neutralized." The leader of Team A reported.

Meanwhile at another part of the base Team B was busy tampering with the enemy fighters.

"Releasing Nanobots." Reported the leader of Team B, he then fired a small tracker at the body of the outdated fighter which then quickly disappeared. He then opened a small vial which had a strange black like substance, and then poured onto the floor.

The black substance first split up into smaller groups going towards different targets then silently slithered across the hangar floor and then went to the spot where their assigned tracker landed.

"Enemy fighters have been neutralized." The leader of Team B reported.

At the radar installation Team C was climbing they used rappelling techniques that haven't been proven in the field yet. They used ropes to climb towers that were always used, but instead of throwing it manually they used electric motors to propel themselves up the radar tower.

When they reached the top they got busy putting in bugs which jammed the sensors that made it look like it was in working order but only tracked the enemies planes, American and Japanese planes have IFFs on them so they wouldn't be tracked but even then stealth technology exists so it wasn't particularly useful on Earth with much more advanced technology.

"Target Charlie has been neutralized."
