The Murder of Professor Ernest Plum:
On the road called Pavilion Gate there stood the George IV Manor which was owned by Captain Mark Mustard.
The next day dawned and Mr Fred Peacock the butler entered the library and saw Professor Ernest Plum sitting at one of the library desks with his head face down on the table. Fred tried to wake him but it was no use. He'd been murdered! Fred went and told Captain Mustard.
Hermione Pivotson and Jack Marvilleston who were private detectives were informed regarding the matter. Fred told them about what had occurred. Hermione and Jack decided to go and investigate the George IV Manor to see for themselves.
After running tests on Professor Ernest Plum's body they discovered that he'd been poisoned with cyanide.
Also they spoke to the other residents of the house which included Reverend Ted Black, Mr Harvey White the entertainer, Miss Dawn Scarlet the entertainer, and Dr Pam Orchid the toxicologist. Once they'd all been interviewed. The detectives found Dr Pam Orchid rather suspicious as she was avoiding to answer their questions as well as her body language while being questioned.
That same afternoon eveyone was saying how successful Professor Ernest Plum was.
"He works so hard and is very clever too as well as being successful!" said Miss Dawn Scarlet.
"What a load of codswallop! He just copies people and doesn't have a mind of his own the bloody old fuddy duddy!" shouted Pam.
Hermione and Jack entered the lounge Jack turned to face Pam.
"So it was you who murdered Professor Ernest Plum" said Jack.
Pam nodded and was soon arrested and taken to Somerset police station where she was interviewed and was going to go on trial for the crime she had committed.
