"What friends?" asked Apple.

"Do you mean the people who have turned their backs on me and their destinies, throwing away the history of their families?!" she asked while her tone of voice grew louder.

"Destiny is not all there is to life, Apple," said a shocked Queen Snow White.

"That's not what you have told me all my life," said Apple.

"And I was wrong; now, how about we go eat our dinner?" asked Queen Snow White as she placed a hand on Apple's shoulder while giving her a smile.

"I'll be having my meals in my room," said Apple while shrugging her mother's hand away and heading upstairs.

"Can't believe even you are joining the Rebell's side," she said while disappearing around a corner at the top of the stairs.

"I've never seen Miss. Apple like this before," said a servant once Apple was out of sight.

"It appears that she has forgotten everything from back then," said Queen Snow White with a regretful expression.

"That's not your fault, your majesty," said the servant.

"But it is, Cassandra, I let her forget that whole year and then raised her to believe in destiny too much," said Queen Snow White as tears ran down her cheeks.

"And I'm sure that my mother is looking down on us and is disappointed in the way I have raised her," she said while using a cloth to wipe her tears. Suddenly, the door blew in and a cold wind filled the entrance way.

"Whoa, looks like we're in for one big snow storm," said Cassandra who had run to close the door. Meanwhile, up in her room.

"This is all Raven's fault," said Apple as she sat on her bed, unaware of a ghostly face that appeared on her wall above the headboard.

"I wish she had never hexisted," she said while falling backwards at the same time that the face vanished so that she wouldn't see it.
