At the strike of nine, Apple had awoken to the sound of someone calling out her name.

"What… what are you?" asked Apple as she noticed a glowing figure standing at the foot of her bed wearing a red cloak.

"I am the Ghost of Christmas Past, one of the three that your grandmother warned you about," said the figure as it turned to reveal the face of Cerise Hood.

"Cerise?" asked Apple as she stood from the bed.

"I'm only taking this form so it's easier to understand me, now let's go," said the ghost as it walked to the center of the room.

"Go where?" asked Apple as she definitely stood by her bed without moving an inch.

"To your forgotten Christmas," the ghost said before snapping her fingers, causing the room to spin.

"What… what just happened?" asked Apple as the two now stood in the living room next to a large Christmas tree and some windows that were allowing a ton of light to beam through into the room.

"Come one you two, it's time to open presents!" called Queen Snow White as she walked in.

"We have gone back in time to when you were seven," said the ghost.

"Alright, but who was my mother…," said Apple before she saw two girls running into the room.

"We're here, mom," said a seven-year-old Apple as she and another girl ran in and jumped up on the couch. The older Apple recognized the other girl as a seven-year-old Raven Queen.

"What… what is Raven doing here?" asked a shocked Apple.

"She lived with you this whole year and the two of you were close friends," said the ghost.

"That all came to an end after the New Year began," said the ghost.

"Because she moved out in January and a few weeks later Grandma Gem passed away," said Apple as the memory came back to her.

"I never heard from Raven again until we met up at Ever After High, but by then everything was blocked from my memory," she said.
