"This is one of the guest rooms at Briar's place," said Apple while looking around at the new scenery.

"And it's the one that Raven is staying in," said the spirit as she pointed at the witch who was sitting in a window looking up at the full moon, which was the source of the only light in the room.

"Are you having trouble sleeping?" asked Briar as she walked into the room.

"I have too much on my mind," said Raven.

"Let me guess, you're worried about Apple, right?" asked Briar as she leaned against the wall next to the window that Rapple was sitting at.

"She's basically the only one left at school who wants to follow destiny, and she's losing everyone, I know how it feels to be an outcast of that level," said Raven as she held onto something that was around her neck.

"That the ring Apple gave you all those years ago?" asked Briar.

"Yep," said Raven as she revealed the ring turned necklace.

"She actually kept hers?" asked a shocked Apple.

"You know, I actually blame myself for Apple becoming so destiny bound," said Raven.

"If I had at least sent a letter after her grandmother passed then maybe things would have turned out differently," she said while tears began to well up in her eyes.

"You couldn't, the idiot family members you were sent to would not let you talk to her, you're lucky they let you keep the ring with how abusive they turned out to be," said Briar.

"And I know that you count her as a friend, but…," she said before Raven cut her off.

"She's not just a friend, Apple is my first crush… and even today I still have a crush on her," said Raven who was full on crying by this point.

"She… she has a crush on me even though I've been so horrible to her?" thought Apple who had fallen to her knees again with a stunned expression.

"And this is the girl you want to push into a destiny that would make her hurt you but her even more," said the spirit before Apple appeared in her room again alone, no sign of the spirit ever entering at all.

"Just what have I done?" asked Apple as tears ran down her cheeks.
