After having returned to her room, Apple decided to head to the kitchen for a glass of water as it was now impossible for her to sleep.

"Have I really been this blind all along?" asked Apple as she sat at a counter.

"I'm the most pathetic princess Ever After has had in its long history," she said. Suddenly, the clock struck midnight and the room grew bitterly cold while a dark mist crawled along the ground.

"You must be the last of the ghosts," said Apple as a figure appeared wearing a black cloak that completely hid their face.

"Guess you're not one for talking," said Apple after hearing nothing from the spirit. Without a word, the spirit just lifted a hand and pointed it at the back door.

"You want me to go outside?" asked Apple to which the spirit nodded. The second Apple opened the door, she found herself in a vast cemetery.

"What are we doing here?" she asked. The spirit just pointed at a nearby headstone which was covered in snow to the point that the name was covered.

"Who… whose grave is this?" asked Apple as she cleared some snow from it. Her body then froze at the sight of her own name haphazardly carved into the stone with no sign of care given in its making.

"Here lies Apple White… the destroyer of Ever After!" said Apple. Her eyes then landed on the date of her death.

"This is two years from the present?!" asked Apple while jumping backwards.

"How can this be?!" she asked while looking at the spirit who just continued to point out towards the headstone.

"I don't understand, why do you keep… oh Grimm," said Apple as she turned back and finally noticed that her headstone was not the only one as the mist cleared.

"Ashlynn, Hunter, Briar, Darling, everyone," said Apple as she noticed their names among the hundreds of headstones that spread out behind her own, each one showing more care in their creation than her the one at the head of them all.

"What in Ever After happened?!" asked Apple while falling to her knees.

"You did," said a voice that she recognized all too well. When the princess turned, she was surprised to see the spirit remove her hood to reveal her own face looking down at her.
