"How could I have caused this, just what happened here?" asked Apple.

"You tricked Raven into signing The Storybook of Legends so she could be your precious Evil Queen and give you that stupide poisoned apple," said the spirit.

"But things went far too wrong, her will not to become her mother fought the control of the book, and it caused her mind to snap to the point that she killed everyone in Ever After!" said the spirit as she pushed Apple backwards, forcing the princess to lay on the ground.

"She… she's too strong to allow…," said Apple before the spirit began to choke her.

"She was too strong, Raven suffered for weeks while fighting it until her mind was nothing more than a shattered mirror's worth of nothing!" said the spirit over Apple's gasps for air.

"Millions lost their lives because of your selfishness; Raven was so insane that she even forced the memories of everyone she killed into your mind so you too would break!" she said before a zombified hand came out of the ground. The spirit then released Apple as several more hands appeared and grabbed hold of the blonde.

"But now your victims can get their revenge on you who killed herself to escape the crimes you committed!" said the spirit as Apple was dragged to a hole that opened in the ground.

"No, no!" screamed the princess through labored breaths as she was thrown into the pit which was filled with fire. Suddenly, Apple jerked herself up out of her bed, no sign of anyone having ever been in her room but herself all night.

"Was… was that just a nightmare?" asked Apple while looking at her trembling hands. However, it was in that instant that she realized that she was wearing the ring necklace around her neck.

"It wasn't a dream," she said while looking at the ring. She then reached over to her nightstand and grabbed her mirrorphone and dialed it.

"Hey, Merry, I'm sorry for calling you so late, I know you're busy helping your dad," said Apple who had called Merry Claus, daughter of Santa Claus.

"But I'm hoping to call in a favor," she said, never once had she let go of the ring.
