Today we start with a simple math equation: No more finals + Austin and Ally + 31 ( 88 in Fahrenheit) degree heat= one fun story. Hope you enjoy this, I'm aware my last few ones in the last 2 almost 3 months have been meh at best.
So this story takes place 4 years after my last A&A fic.
Enjoy!
4 years had passed since Alex and Ava were born and the transition from married couple to parents was anything but easy for Austin and Ally.
Although, it was by far the best time of their lives. Ally's Tweeter finally got more followers once she started posting pictures of the twins. A&A Records had become even more successful once Austin started showing up with Alex and Ava.
But what the couple loved most was Friday movie nights, when Ally was around, they would watch DISNEY movies such as Peter Pan or The Little Mermaid, but when Ally was off on retreats, then Austin would show them movies like Zaliens 6, Terminator and whatever Dez's newest releases was.
However, according to both Austin and Ally, their marriage had become stagnant, they desperately needed to get out of Miami, but with Ally busy writing songs for new clients and Austin having to sign with rappers who prefaced their names with '' lil '' they simply had no time. It didn't help that both Alex and Ava had just started preschool and were still 3 weeks away from summer vacation.
Right now, Austin was busy watching his kids play in the pool behind their house.
'' Hey, Alex, no splashing, the neighbors are complaining!'' Austin yelled from the porch.
'' Sorry'' Alex sheepishly smiled. The child was scarily similar to Austin in a physical sense, from his face to hair, the child was the spitting image of his father, save for him being at least 2 inches taller than he was at that age.
Personality wise however, he was mostly like Ally, he was kind, sweet and really didn't have a problem with anyone in anyway. He just saw the good in everybody.
Ava, however, was Ally's clone. When Trent and Tilly had first met her they had joked by saying that Ava was probably cloned in a lab. The only feature that Ava didn't share with Ally was her personality. Unlike Ally, who usually followed the rules, Ava was a total rebel, often roping her more lawfully-aligned sibling into helping her raid the kitchen or get up in the middle of the night and snuggle with mommy and daddy.
'' Austin!''
Austin stood up from watching his kids to see a very angry looking Ally looking daggers at him.
'' Yeah?'' Austin asked, confused.
'' Just got off the phone with Trent.''
'' And?''
'' He says you left clothes at his and Tilly's house yesterday.''
'' Oh that, well Trent was working on some dance moves for a new music video he's performing in. I did some backup for him and got my clothes wet. I had to borrow some of his, thankfully he and Tilly don't live too far from A&A Records.''
'' Really'' Ally said in a soft tone, not noticing that her children had just exited the pool. '' Because Trent also told me that Tilly's friend Marry was there too. You know, the super flirty one?''
'' Yeah, so? What're you getting at?''
'' Why didn't you tell me you were cheating?!''
'' Me cheating? Ally don't be stupid I love you-''
'' Then why were you with her yesterday-
'' She was at our friend's home. I can't control who he sees. Besides when would I ever do anything mean…''
Alex and Ava had left the pool in the meantime and made their way into the house, only to be greeted by a ringing doorbell.
'' I got it'' Alex said.
'' No, I do, I'm taller.''
Alex shut his mouth whilst Ava let the person in. The specific person, or persons who entered, were none other than their godparents, Trish De La Rosa and Dez Wade.
'' Hey guys, we're here to steal food from your parents' fridge. Hey, where are your parents?'' Dez asked, picking up Ava.
'' Outside, fighting'' Alex said sadly.
'' Again? This is getting annoying'' Trish answered, picking the boy up.
'' I know, lets go scare them'' Dez smiled, Trish following him.
''… You always do this! The second I'm with anyone who isn't you, the kids, our family or friends, you immediately assume I'm up to something-
'' Ahem!'' Trish cleared her throat dramatically. Her and Dez putting down the children.
'' Oh. Hey guys'' Ally said bashfully.
'' How did you get in?'' Austin asked.
'' Ava let us in. Are you guys ok? I mean you've been fighting a lot lately, like a lot a lot-
'' They get it! Dez'' Trish interrupted.
'' Sorry, I don't know why we do, I mean we're both happy, in love and I don't respect anyone else in the world than Austin.''
'' Aww, thanks'' Austin pecked his wife on the lips.''
The two small children shuddered.
'' Hey guys, its ok'' Ally cooed, picking up her daughter, and Austin their son.
'' You were fighting again'' Ava whimpered.
''Mommy and Daddy love each other, that's why we fight'' Ally answered.
'' Are you getting a 'vorce?'' Alex asked.
'' What? No, no, never. We're just under a lot of stress is all'' Austin said.
'' Hold on, when was the last time you two got out?'' Dez asked.
'' Like for a date? I don't know, a while I'd guess'' Austin shrugged.
'' Well look, Trish and I are off to some thing in LA next week. Do you want to come?''
'' We can't. The kids just started preschool and Ally and I are swamped with work.''
'' Oh please, I have a way out of that'' Trish snorted.
'' Go on?'' Ally raised an eyebrow.
'' Well, are you familiar with remote learning?''
'' Of course, why?''
'' There teacher can just email you, their work. They get a week off and you two can relax for the first time in a while.''
'' Ok fine, but what about our jobs? Austin can't just not go into work. Also, as A&A's head songwriter I need to approve stuff. We can't have another song about hitting on a drunk girl in a club'' Ally protested.
'' Why not leave Kira in charge?'' Dez asked, an eyebrow raised.
'' Well I...uh, hey, why don't I leave her in charge. She's my 2IC after all?''
'' Fine fine but what about me, all the songs-
'' Can wait, for crying out loud woman you haven't been on vacation in years. Now go type an email to your subordinates and get packed. We leave in 3 days time'' Trish ordered.
Austin and Ally just looked at each other, before going upstairs.
Dez however just looked at Trish. '' Now I see why you're known at Trish the tyrant.''

'' Welcome to LA gang!'' Austin trilled as the family landed at LAX.
'' Its still hot'' Ava whined.
'' That's because its summer sweetie. The whole of America is hot.''
'' I wanna go swimming!'' Alex cheered.
'' Well then you're in luck bud. Do you know where LA is?'' Austin asked his child, as the family approached the gate which would take them to the limo driver Dez had sent for them.
Alex shook his head.
'' LA is in California, which means we're right by the beach!'' Austin cried.
Alex and Ava started jumping with glee.
The family soon approached the limo that had been sent for them. The driver looking oddly familiar.
'' Wait? I know you, aren't you the delivery guy who robbed our mall?'' Austin asked the driver.
'' Yep. And these must be your kids'' the driver responded.
'' They are. What are you doing in Los Angeles?'' Ally asked.
'' Well, once the company I worked for found out that I stole stuff, they fired me. But thanks to a lucky lottery ticket I moved out here to pursue my dream of being a professional musician…unfortunately that didn't work out so I drive a limo now.''
'' Well, its nice to see you'' Ally smiled, the group soon entering the vehicle.
For the next hour, the family drove through countless avenues of palm trees with the ocean decorating their view.
Soon however, they found themselves outside of the prestigious Halberd hotel. It was known for its awe inspiring views of a local bay, 4 star dining, babysitting, wifi and all sorts of other features ranging from a kids lounge to a miniature golf course.
Getting their keys from reception, the group made their way into the double rooms that had been booked for them by Dez and Trish.
'' Wow, this is so cool'' Ava gasped as she entered hers and Alex's.
'' Jeez, how much does Dez make?'' Ally asked, entering her and Austin's room.
The rooms themselves consisted of two beds, one king and one queen, each containing four cotton pillow cases with goose feather pillow interiors. Along with it was a large bathroom, and a huge tv.
'' Enough for this'' Austin answered, diving onto the nearest bed, only to be joined by his wife, soon after.
'' Dammit, peer pressure'' Ally shrugged smiling, and subsequently joining him.
For the next two days, Dez and Trish couldn't believe what they were seeing. Austin and Ally were being really affectionate, like back when they were teenagers. Austin was constantly hitting on Ally, whether it be a random '' Gd, you're beautiful'' or just a peck on the cheek.
This was exceptionally apparent right now, at the pool.
'' So, the role of the guy who's playing Troy's missing father is being cast…'' Dez started, easily getting the attention of his godchildren.
Trish however, was busy watching Austin and Ally. Right now the were busy lying on top of each other, as well as just looking at each other,
Alex and Ava, who didn't mind the free trip to LA, were mostly interested in seeing their parents getting along for the first time in a while.
''…Right Trish, you enjoyed playing Girl#2 in the first Claws dun dun dun, right?'' Dez asked his ex-wife.
'' Huh, yeah. Hey listen you guys, I have an idea. How about you two go on a date tonight?'' Trish trilled.
'' Huh? Oh yeah that sounds great'' Ally said, not averting her gaze for a second.
'' Oh for crying out loud'' Trish grabbed Dez's drink and threw it at her best friend.
'' Gah! Hey, what was that for?'' Ally asked, getting up.
'' Why don't you and Austin go on a date tonight?'' Trish asked, fake-smiling.
'' Who's gonna watch the kids? I mean, we don't have two robot doubles lying around'' Austin retorted.
'' Sure you do'' Dez grabbed Trish '' Us.''
'' We aren't robots dumbass.''
'' True, but we can watch these two, they love us. We're like free movie tickets, cant pass us up'' Dez shrugged.
'' Horrible logic, but a great point. We haven't been out in what, like 3 months?'' Ally asked.
'' Yeah, at least'' Austin agreed, getting off the lounger he was on previously.

'' Wow mommy, you look so pretty'' Ava cooed later that night.
'' Aww thanks honey'' Ally cooed, getting up.
Ally was wearing a sleeveless, strapless floor length white dress. Her hair was tied into a loose ponytail and was wearing gold bangles around her wrists.
'' What can I do?'' Ava asked.
'' Well, right there's a bottle of my new perfume, you can spray some onto my neck.''
Ava obeyed and spritzed some liquid onto her mother's neck. '' It smells funny.''
Ally laughed. '' it should. Its called Kilimanjaro stars. It's a new one.''
There was a knock at the room's door. The door was subsequently opened by Ava, who looked to see her father and brother.
'' Hey Avey, can we see mommy?''
'' No.''
Austin laughed lightly. '' Why not?''
'' You have to say the password.''
'' Chicken fingers?''
'' No.''
'' Mommy?''
'' No.''
'' Daddy?''
'' No.''
'' What is it then?''
'' I can't tell you'' Ava shook her head.
Alex made Austin crouch to his level. He then whispered into his father's ear.
Austin sighed and pulled out his wallet. '' Will you tell me for 10 bucks?''
'' Yep, its potato stick. Come in'' Ava trilled, letting her father into the room.
Austin was stunned when he entered. '' Wow…you look…wow.''
'' Thank you. And you look quite handsome. I forgot how good you look in a suit'' Ally said, kissing Austin.
'' Eww, are you done being gross?'' Alex cringed.
'' Yes sweetie, we're done being gross, come on, we're dropping you off at Uncle Dez and Aunt Trish's room'' Ally smiled.

The dinner went extremely well, both Austin and Ally totally enamored with their food. Although Ally was more subtle than her husband.
'' You know you could eat like a grown man ya know?'' Ally said.
'' Sowwy'' Austin said, his mouth full.
'' I still cant believe we're at a 4 star restaurant and you ordered pancakes'' Ally asked.
'' Hey, they said breakfast 24/7. I'm holding them to it.''
Ally laughed at this. He was so true to himself. It was honestly one of the reasons she fell in love with him in the first place.
-x-
'' Wow, * hiccup * you're so funny'' Ally said later at their hotel room. Both she and Austin were a little tipsy.
'' I know'' Austin said bending over to take off his suit when he was ambushed by Ally pushing him onto the bed.
'' You jumped on me'' Austin laughed.
'' Yeah I did'' Ally smiled sultrily.
'' Should we, I mean the kids are in the room next door'' Austin asked.
'' Both of them are heavy sleepers and besides I've missed being physical with my * hiccup * husband.''
'' Hmm, good point'' Austin said, rolling over and beginning to kiss Ally passionately.

3 months after their trip to LA, Austin and Ally's marriage was fully restored, they hadn't argued ever since they came back and were even more happy when they were around their kid. However, as of recent Ally hadn't been feeling very well, so when Austin came home late one night, she waited for him in the family room. She knew he always watched SNL every chance he got.
Austin walked into the room and turned on the light, only to have a small heart attack when he saw Ally waiting for him.
'' Jeez Ally, how long have you been up?''
'' Ever since I put the kids to sleep. Listen I have to tell you something.''
'' Yeah?'' Austin raised an eyebrow and sat next to his wife on the couch.
Ally held out a pink stick with a plus sign on it.
'' Alz, are you-
'' Pregnant, yep.''
