It is the next morning after the Villagers were turned into vampires, Lucas is now throwing a single newspaper at everyone's house. Whoever are the roommates that are much closer to the door had to bring in the newspaper. At Smash Center, Snake is reading the news article in the background, while Terry and Shulk are playing pool table. Little Mac is asleep, with Kirby trying to wake him up in the background.
"Poor Marth." Terry lamented. "I can't believe he's gonna deal with his body like that for the rest of his life."
"You think?" Shulk replied. "I can see what I can do to change him back to human for life."
"Oh, who am I kidding? The vampire that bit Marth a few nights ago must have had very special power, and won't allow anyone to turn back to normal humans after getting most of their blood sink in. By the looks of it, Marth's blood has been drained by a lot."
"So, does that mean he's a vampire for the rest of his life, Terry?"
"I'm afraid so." He answered.
Little Mac is still catching some Zzzzzzz... He's still asleep, and he won't even wake up at all.
"POYO!" Kirby told. It translates: "WAKE UP!"
"Well, that explains the reasoning on how Marth can't be back to human." Shulk commented.
"If that vampire turned the Villagers, then we came here at the wrong time." Terry spoke. "If they weren't turned, we're okay."
"Mind if I talk with you guys?" Red asked, as he joins in.
"Sure! Why not?" Terry answered.
"Can you explain to me how Pikachu went outisde of the house to go to another one's house last night?"
"I don't remember." Shulk answered. "I wasn't there."
"Me neither." Terry answered.
"Are you guys almost done?" Red asked.
"Shulk and I just started this game not long ago."
"I'll watch you guys, then. Have you heard the latest about Marth?"
"That vampire that bit him a few nights ago must have had very special power that will not allow anyone turn back to human again." Shulk answered.
"We both mentioned this earlier, Fire Red." Terry said. "Marth's blood has been drained a lot while he was getting bitten by that vampire."
"She must have been strong enough for him." Red commented.
"Exactly!" Shulk replied. "Once we get home, we should-"
"WHAT?" Snake screamed, as he's in middle of reading the news article.
This woke Little Mac up just in time. "Huh?"
"That's Snake!" Both Terry and Shulk noticed.
This caused both of them taking a break from playing pool table. They were heading to Snake, alongside with Red, Little Mac, and Kirby, who also heard him screaming while reading the news article.
"What's the news article is about?" Red asked.
"Six Villagers recently became vampires last night, while the other two were bitten in the process." Snake answered.
"Is that on the news?" Shulk hesitated.
"It's just the current event from last night."
"Can you find out how long these Villagers are vampires for?" Little Mac questioned.
"The officials say that they might be vampires for the rest of their lives, because they were bitten by the same vampire that bit Marth a few nights ago." Snake answered.
"What are we gonna do now?" Shulk asked.
"Was that me, or was there the whole point that the vampire is biting almost every Smashers in Smash Town?" Terry hesitated.
Outside of Smash Center, there's Samus sitting on the town bench, reading the newspaper, too. She is also reading the same article as Snake was earlier. Leaf immediately shows up.
"Do you know where Fire Red is at?" Leaf asked.
"He's at Smash Center." Samus answered.
"Thanks, Samus."
This makes Leaf heading straight to Smash Center, so she can look for Red, who is also there. Samus continues reading the news article, but Zelda joins in to talk.
"Did you read the whole thing about current event?" Zelda asked.
"I did, but I just saw six Villagers turning into vampires in the process while the other two were recently bitten." Samus answered.
"Was Link there?"
"He was, Zelda. He was one of the witnesses with Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, and a whole bunch of people from Fire Emblem household."
"Was Marth one of the witnesses, too?"
"Yep!"
"Is Link coming over to Smash Center this afternoon?"
Later in the afternoon back at Smash Center, Mario and Link are now hanging out. Shulk is still playing pool table in the background, but Pokemon Trainer replaced Terry as the component there.
"Isabelle just called, and she says that those six Villagers that were turned last night are the vampires for the rest of their lives, too." Link told.
"Mamma Mia!" Mario exclaimed. "I wasn't-a expecting them to turn!"
"Did you read the news article about last night's event this morning?"
"Yes! If my brother was around, he would-a get scared easily."
"I'm assuming that Luigi's not fond of supernatural, is he?"
"No, no. Not at all!"
"I feel so embarrassed watching those people get transformed." Link said. "Have you ever talked to Dr. Mario about the six Villagers turning into vampires?"
"I haven't-a yet, Link." Mario answered. "I'm-a gonna do that once I get in-a touch with him."
"I hope you do that now, because those two remaining Villagers will turn into vampires tonight if we don't get that done."
Ike decided to join these guys just to talk.
"The news article was right. Those Villagers are vampires for the rest of their lives, too. It was the same vampire that bit Marth a few nights ago."
"You're not kidding about that part, Ike."
"I'm not, my friends." Ike replied. "None of the cures work. I was using right on them, and none of them worked."
"You must-a be smart enough to take-a the cures right-a before the daylight comes-a back." Mario noticed.
"Hold on a minute! Will they all be cured back to human once that vampire dies?" Link asked.
"Unfortunately, no." Ike answered.
"It's-a okay, Ike. We'll-a find our paths to fight back."'
"Thanks, Mario. You're so kind."
"You're-a welcome!"
