I am so so so so so so so sorry for not updating in like forever, its just that ive been busy with exams and I'll probably be more regular with update. Maybe one every 2 or 3 days.

Hmm, I don't think I'm a long chappie kind of girl. ::sigh:: Oh, well, maybe I'll get better. Anyways...onward!

NayNymic—Yes, this is a H/D story and there will be absolutely no He/H in it at all. I see where you might think that they will be getting together but it's not like that at all. They're friendship is going to grow very very strong and fast but that's all it will be, promise. Thanks for the review =)

FAllen Angel – I have never heard of the latter days but I went to the sight that you sad I could find it on and I read a bit on it. Let me tell you, before I went I was mortified that it would be exactly like my story and that everyone would hate because of it. Lol I can see where you see similarities and from now on I'm going to check that site to make sure its not the same lol thanks for your review! (

Chekiita—I know exactly what you mean! Lol, I read a bunch of H/D and, with the no magic ones, there's almost always a stalker. But no worries, this story is stalker-free. At the moment I have a rough idea of future chappies and I'm pretty sure that they will revolve more around Draco than Harry. Thanks for your review!!

Everyone thank you for reading my story, it really does mean a lot that someone out there likes it. Hugs to everyone!

Special thanks to my beta—starry serpent

After Mr. Granger was absolutely positive that his "princess" wouldn't be in any danger by staying for dinner he let Harry hang up.

"Well, that's what you get for laughing at me when I had to talk to him," Hermione said to Harry making him stick out his tongue and give her a soft push on the shoulder.

"You know, this place might not be so bad after all. I mean, Dean and them all seemed really cool. Did you ever notice how they all have their own thing but they're still like a group? Like, Luna is all about art, Cho is all about dance, Angelina is all about music, Dean equals sports, Neville is completely absorbed with comics, and Seamus couldn't live without all his high-tech gizmos and gadgets. " Harry said after a moment of silence.

"And Draco is the mysterious one. You can't forget him...Harry? Can I ask you a question?" Hermione questioned.

"You just did," Harry replied with a laugh.

"What's going on with you and Draco? I know about the kiss, he told me all about it. You know he has his eye on you. Ever since he turned he hasn't gone out with anyone and he really likes you even though he doesn't know all that much about you. He said that there was something about the way you blushed that made you irresistible to him. Do you like him...at all?" Hermione asked.

"Oh, I...well, he...and you know..." Harry trailed off not being able to think of anything to cover up the blubber he had just run out of his mouth, "You hungry? I'm getting hungry, I'm going to go see if the food's ready."

Hermione only sighed and followed Harry downstairs. She would try to sort things out with Harry later because as they reached the bottom of the steps, they ran into Harry's mother who was just on her way to tell them that the food was ready. When everyone sat down Harry's parents began talking to Hermione about the high school Harry would be going to. She answered all their questions while Harry sat, staring at his plate, wishing that his parents would just stop the questions.

After dinner, Harry and Hermione went back up to Harry's room, which his mother would only allow if they kept the door wide open.

"So, you going to answer my question anytime soon," Hermione said as soon as they entered Harry's room.

"What do you mean," Harry answered back nervously.

"You and Draco, of course. C'mon, you've just got to tell because I have a feeling that you and me are going to end up really good friends and really good friends tell each other who they like, so spill. Ooh, mind if I borrow this CD?

"Here, I'll just burn it for you so you won't have to worry about giving it back or anything," Harry said taking the CD from Hermione hand and popping it into his computer.

"Awesome! Now, spill," Hermione said with a smile.

Well, it was the moment of truth. He couldn't just lie to this girl, the first friend he had made in his new town. Then again, he didn't know much about her. She could go tell everyone what he would say. After a while, she began to look impatiently at him.

"There's nothing to spill. He kissed me and that's it."

"That can't just be it! You kissed him back and...you don't like him at all?

"Being gay is wrong, abnormal. Maybe I just think that way because that's how it was in my old school and not to mention the fact that my parents don't think it's the greatest thing. I don't know! I'm not gay and I don't like him like...like a boyfriend. Let's just drop it," Harry replied breathing heavily and wishing he had told Hermione the truth. Wishing how he could have just told her how hard Draco had made him with that kiss, how much he wanted Draco to kiss him again and before he knew it, he was getting upset and somehow he knew Hermione knew he had lied.

"I'm sorry I lied to you Hermione. It's just that it's all so confusing. I never thought about guys in any of those ways before and then Draco came along and messed it all up."

"It's okay, Harry. When Draco first came out it was like this too. Maybe you should just get some rest. You know, quiet time to think things out," Hermione asked quietly.

"Yeah, that sounds good. Thanks, Hermione."

"Anytime. Here's my number so you can call when you like. Say, do you want me to talk to Draco about this? Like let him know..."

"No."

"Okay, I'll just let myself out, okay? Call me sometime, don't be a stranger because I'll be around. Bye, hun."

"Bye, Hermione," Harry gratefully replied with a smile.

///Oh, gods, what am I going to do about all this?///
