Meanwhile, it is now night. Marth and red Villager are currently at Smash Center having conversations to each other about the vampire in this situation.

"I haven't talked with Link yet." Marth told.

"Me neither, but I cannot find out what the reasoning is for us being vampires for the rest of our lives." Red Villager insisted.

"If Simon or Richter haven't been injured in this situation, this wouldn't have happened."

"Do you know Alucard?" Red Villager asked. "He lives in Third-Party Assist house."

"I know him very well." Marth answered. "I forgot he moved in."

Red Villager is now telling the story about how Smash Town has been ongoing for. "A long time ago, Smash Town was a very small place. The founder of the place was Master Hand. There is a duplex, and seven houses. The next two houses were built a month later. New houses were built some years."

"So, the first ones were the ones from the original Smash Bros." Marth commented. "I got moved in when Smash Melee was first introduced."

Red Villager continued the story. "I was originally planned on moving to Smash Town when Brawl came, but I had to graduate first, and I wasn't even graduated yet. I moved into Smash Town when Smash 4 first came."

"So, are there still new houses when more characters from Ultimate come?"

"There sure are, but pretty soon the constructors might wanna retire at a certain point."

"For sure."

According to red Villager's story, it has been true that Smash Town was founded for a long time. There's only one duplex, and seven houses. On one side of the duplex was Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi, while on the other side is Donkey Kong. The houses were owned by Ness, Captain Falcon, Kirby, and Fox, with one having Pikachu and Jigglypuff together as roommates. Then the new houses were built. That's when Marth moved in, along with Roy. A year after, there were even more houses, with Ike moving in with Marth and Roy. That's when Young Link and Pichu moved out temporarily. After that, that's when the Villagers moved in, while Snake, Wolf, and Ice Climbers moved out temporarily. Isabelle did not even move in before them. That's how Smash Town increases population. Isabelle moved in in the same year these guys moved back in after moving out temporarily.

Suddenly, Link is running and screaming, heading towards these two vampires.

"Marth! Villager! Hurry!"

"What's the rush, Link?" Marth asked.

"It's Mario! He's dying!"

"Dying?" Red Villager exclaimed. "But... How?"

"Follow me this way, you two. I'll explain this to you." Link instructed.

"You're right!" Marth agreed.

"That must not be a good sign." Red Villager added.

And now, Marth and red Villager both followed Link in a quick rush. Four other witnesses are already there, seeing what's happening. There's Mario, collapsing right onto the ground, dying. It did look like he was not gonna survive at all.

"Oh, man..." Marth lamented.

"See? Look at him. It's not a good sign." Link told. "There's a good chance he might not live out anymore."

"But, how can the vampire break into our town, and try to target a lot of houses just to bite someone's skin?" Samus asked, as she's watching Mario dying.

"I'm not quite sure, exactly."

"Mario!" Mario exclaimed.

Mario is currently moaning right now, he's not getting up. He's very weakened right now, and he's unable to move.

"Mario, listen to me." Red Villager told. "Don't do this to me. Stay alive."

"I'm-a trying my best to keep-a myself alive..." Mario replied, weakened. "I guess-a there's-a no more for me... Embrace yourself..."

Mario died. It did look like he fainted, but he's already dead now. Peach is shocked right before she starts crying.

"MARIO! NO!" She cried.

"I'm sorry, Peach." Marth lamented.

"Colonel, the plumber of the Mushroom Kingdom has passed on, but I can't explain this to you." Snake told. "It hurts watching that."

"What should we do now?" Link asked.

"If Bowser captures me again, I might end up living with him for the rest of my life!" Peach exclaimed.

"Maybe I'll be the substitute if Mario was even playing dead." Marth told.

"Hold on a minute. Is this true?" Snake questioned, as he saw Mario lying on the ground.

"I don't know. Just look at him." Red Villager answered. "He's gone!"

"I'm not even surprised if it wasn't for that vampire who came in and bite someone's skin, as what Samus mentioned earlier." Eight mentioned.

"Thank you!" Samus thanked Eight.

"You're welcome, ma'am."

"Uh..." Link notices.

"Do anyone here have any plans on what to do with Mario?" Peach asked. "That's the fastest way to get him buried?"

"How about a coffin?" Eight suggested. "I watched someone doing Coffin Dance online."

"Good idea, Hero!" Link agreed. "Villager, I know you can build something. Grab the materials we need for the coffin."

"Yes, Link!" Red Villager agreed, as he gets the materials ready to go.

"He'll get it done faster, since he's already a vampire." Marth insisted.

"Ah, that makes sense." Samus pointed out.

"I'll grab some roses to place next to his coffin." Peach told everyone.

"We don't have to bury him." Eight insisted, about Mario. "We'll set his coffin somewhere."

The witnesses that watch Mario dying have to get started working on building the coffin for him, while Peach is grabbing some roses. It took them a while just to get it done, but with two vampires, Marth and red Villager being around, they can get it done faster.

"How does it look?" Snake showed it.

"Looks fine to me." Link answered.

"If Mario ends up leaving the coffin, then I don't know how that vampire manages herself to get through him." Red Villager told. "Maybe it could be that he's turning, or he's dying..."

"Turning is possible, anytime, even when you're dead." Marth commented.
