Clementine was leaning on the wall, looking somewhere random, waiting for the others. It was already getting dark, and it wouldn't be long before Troy called her in for her shift with Bonnie.

The gate opened, and Mike, Kenny and Duck entered the yard.

She stretched and walked towards them lazily, taking a seat in one of the chairs in the center.

Kenny- Okay, Luke has the radio, he heard some guards saying that the horde is getting close, and because of this, Carver has asked for some more guards to stay on the roof and guard the barricade outside.

He sat up, taking the second radio from inside his jacket.

Rebecca - I still can't believe we're doing this.

She said with a sigh, placing one of her hands on her forehead.

Kenny- Clementine will try to get the keys, if all goes well, she will give them to Luke, who will be waiting inside the storage room, near the armory. After that, Clementine will go to Carver's office and turn on the stereos, he won't be in the office and there won't be any guards around, not many. As soon as that happens, Luke will open the gate, Carlos will come with Pete, and we'll get out of here.

He explained, handing the radio to Clementine, who did her best to hide it inside her blouse.

The object was too visible because of the thin fabric, so she rolled her eyes and put the radio in her pocket, lowering the hem of her shirt and putting her arm in front of her.

Kenny-I can give you my jacket if you like.

He said, watching as the girl tried to camouflage the radio.

Clementine- Yours is too big... Duck?

She turned to the boy, who nodded in her direction and took off his jacket, handing it to the girl.

Kenny- Okay, in case something goes wrong and we get separated, we need a place to meet.

Mike- We can meet at Parker's Run. It's a civil war site a few miles north. There are signs all over the place. Just follow the road.

Kenny- Okay, that works.

He said, tucking his cap back on his head.

Jane- Guys, Troy is coming.

Jane said, stepping away from the gate and walking toward the chairs.

Clementine stood up and sighed, recapitulating her part in the plan.

Rebecca- Be sure to remember to flip the switch for the outdoor speakers. Just the indoor speakers might not draw the herd. It's right on the microphone default it's set to play music, so you should just have to turn it on, right? We'll meet you at the storage room. And don't forget Alvin.

She finished explaining and the gate opened. Troy entered with his typical angry face, glaring at Clementine.

Troy- Come on girl. Bonnie's waiting for you.

Clementine waved to Rebecca and walked towards Troy, walking past him without looking at him.

She heard the gate close behind her and her eyes watched the scene. There were no guards around, she might have to sneak into Carver's office, but with so few watching the place, even more with all that darkness, it wouldn't be that difficult.

Troy opened the armory door, signaling for Clementine to enter.

Troy- All yours Bonnie.

He said, and as soon as the girl entered, he closed the door.

Clementine walked smiling over to Bonnie, who returned the smile.

Bonnie- Good to see you, Clem.

The woman stood up, looking warmly at Clementine.

Clementine - You too. So, what are we going to do?

The girl sat down and Bonnie turned around, walking to the corner of the armory and dragging a box toward the girl.

Bonnie- Our guys found some guns earlier today, let's do the ammo count, the gun count, and sort them into categories, it's not hard.

Clementine nodded and quickly ran her eyes over the weapons inside the box.

Bonnie- Where did you get that jacket?

The woman asked after a while, sitting down in the chair in front of the girl as she sorted through some pistol bullets.

Clementine- I borrowed it from Duck, it is quite cold out there in the yard.

She replied quickly, placing some rifle ammo on the table.

Bonnie looked at her for a few moments, getting up and walking toward a random corner.

Clementine looked at her in confusion for a few moments, and then her eyes focused on the keys in Bonnie's back pocket.

After a while, the woman returned with something in hand.

Bonnie- Here, I put it aside for you but... well, I didn't have time to give it to you, given the circumstances... and all that.

Clementine arched an eyebrow and took the object from Bonnie's hands, holding the jacket out in front of her and watching her.

"... It's kind of ugly" - She thought, not really liking that blue with that print.

Clementine- It's great! Thank you Bonnie.

She said, smiling at the woman, who looked at her kindly.

Clementine-Could you turn around? You see, I'm not wearing anything under Duck's jacket.

The girl said a little embarrassed, causing Bonnie to look at her amused.

The woman turned around, and as she did so, Clementine reached into her back pocket for the pocket knife.

In one swift motion, Clementine stabbed the small blade into Bonnie's neck, multiple times, until the woman's body fell to the ground, motionless and with a large amount of blood dripping from the wound.

The girl took the keys from Bonnie's pocket, walked over to the weapons box and picked up a pistol with a few loaded magazines, placing it in her waistband.

Clementine- Luke, how are you doing there? I got the keys.

She said over the radio, waiting for an answer from Luke.

"Luke- Okay, all right, Troy's on his back at the moment, if you come slowly, he probably won't see you."

Clementine walked to the door and slowly opened it, peeking through the gap.

Troy was further ahead, a little ways away, his back to her.

"Luke- Oh I can see you, go left, I'm behind the counter."

He said again, and Clemetine looked over, seeing Luke waving at her covertly.

The girl walked through the door and slowly closed it, heading toward Luke soon after.

Clementine- Here... gee, you're a mess.

She handed him the keys, and said somewhat amused by Luke's state, who smiled at her.

Luke- Sorry princess, I haven't been able to sleep much these past few days, and if it wasn't for Kenny bringing me food today, I probably would have done something stupid.

Troy- What the fuck?!

Troy's loud, angry voice startled them both, and they turned around. Troy was right behind Luke, they hadn't even noticed when he arrived there, much less heard his footsteps.

Luke immediately advanced towards Troy, punching him in the face and grabbing his rifle.

Troy recovered quickly and headbutted Luke, pushing him backwards. However, Luke recovered and kicked Troy's leg, then kicked him in his face, sending him to the ground.

Luke grabbed the rifle from Troy's hands, but was knocked to the ground by a low kick from the man.

Troy grabbed the machete at his waist and advanced on Luke, trying to stab him in the chest.

Luke managed to hold Troy's hands, but he was clearly weaker than the man, as he himself had said, he hadn't slept very well, and had only eaten that same day earlier.

Luke watched with some desperation as the machete approached his chest and tried to get Troy off his back as much as he could.

However, his eyes widened when he saw a pocket knife pierce Troy's neck, and then his temple. Blood flowed profusely, splashing over Luke's body.

He threw the man's body to the side. His wide, incredulous eyes focused on Clementine, who was picking up the machete from the ground with a smile on her face.

Happy that she had gotten her melee weapon back.

Luke-... Clem...

He called out to her, not quite knowing what to say with the girl's such coldness, who was practically stepping on Troy's dead body.

Some footsteps echoed through the empty place, and Clementine grabbed her pistol and pointed it in the direction in which the footsteps were approaching.

- What the f...?

A man tried to say, and a gunshot echoed through the place, followed by the sound of a body falling to the ground with a dull thud.

Clementine - There's no more time now, Luke!

She said and turned around, running toward Carver's office. Luke stood up and took the rifle from Troy, running toward the yard where the others were.

Clementine hurried up the stairs, entering the office, which, luckily, wasn't locked.

As soon as she entered, her eyes focused on Alvin, who was still passed out on the chair. She approached him with the machete in hand and placed the blade just below the man's nose, watching the blade blur a little with his shallow breathing.

"Alive, but badly hurt" - She thought, turning and walking over to the table.

She went to the microphone box and turned on the external speakers and turned the volume knob.

But nothing.

"What? Oh come on..." - She thought, getting a little more agitated.

Her eyes followed the cables coming out of the microphone box until they stopped on the CD player right next to it.

"Empty" - The girl bent down, looking for some disc on the shelf.

She grabbed a CD from the drawer below and put it in the player, turning it on soon after.

Turning to the microphone box, she turned the volume knob, sighing with relief shortly after.

Her eyes focused on Luke, who was opening the gate to the courtyard ahead.

The sound of footsteps caught her attention and the girl turned quickly, reaching for her pistol.

Clementine- Alvin... good enough to walk?

She asked, but the man just remained silent, looking for something in Carver's desk drawer.

Alvin- Carver always talks about that tough guy shit...and he keeps the smallest gun in the universe...something kind of funny about that...

He says weakly, sitting down on the chair in front of the table.

Clementine goes towards the other window, looking at Carver, along with three other people. One man turned and started running towards the office, while the others went in opposite directions.

Clementine- Okay Alvin, get ready, we have to go!

She said, crouching down beside the desk and pointing the gun toward the door.

Alvin- Oh Clem, I am too fucked up to go anywhere. It was hard enough just walking to this chair.

The door is opened and a man rushes into the office.

Clementine shoots before he realized her presence, however, she heard more voices approaching, along with more footsteps.

Alvin- Go on girl, get out of here. They'll be here any minute now.

He said, leaning on the table. Clementine looks at him for a few moments, then looks up at the skylight above.

She stows the gun at her waist and drags a chair forward, using it as a support to climb over the cabinet.

Alvin- Take care of my girls.

The girl was surprised and turned to Alvin, who looked as if he was going to faint at any moment.

Alvin- I have a feeling... just a hunch... it's going to be a girl...

She stared at him for a few more moments, then nodded to the man, opening the skylight and leaving, hearing two shots ring out behind her as she left.

Clementine opened the skylight over the warehouse and stepped inside, just in time to avoid being seen by the guards arriving on the roof.

Her eyes focused on her group further ahead, being overpowered by Carver and a few other men, who were pointing guns in her direction.

" Fucking hell! Nothing can be easy in this shit?!"

She propped herself up on the shelves of the warehouse, slowly walking towards Carver, who was making some speech in which she was not too keen to listen.

Once she stood over Carver and his two men, she picked up her pistol and looked down, nodding to Duck and Kenny, who seemed to have understood her plan.

Clementine aimed her gun at the head of one of the men and pulled the trigger.

The noise of the shot startled the two remaining men, who turned toward where the body had fallen.

Duck advanced on the first man, knocking him to the ground.

Kenny advanced toward Carver and punched him in the face. Taking advantage that he was stunned, he punched him in the stomach and kicked his leg, knocking him down and grabbing his rifle in the process.

Kenny looked at Duck afterwards, smiling at the boy who had also taken the man's rifle and was aiming it at his head.

Clementine reached down from the racks, watching the group bend down and pick up the weapons on the floor.

Rebecca- Clementine, where is- why isn't Alvin with you?

The girl looked at her, staring deep into her eyes as she shook her head slightly.

Clementine- Dead.

She said simply, walking beside Luke and crossing her arms, looking at Carver on the ground.

Luke- Rebecca, I... Oh God, I'm so sorry.

Rebecca- Kill him.

Luke was surprised by the woman's angry tone. She was looking at Carver with hatred in her eyes and a murderous intent.

Carver - Rebecca, sweet Rebecca, oh my God. How did we get here? You and I?

He asked, with a cynical expression on his face and an almost amused tone in his voice.

Clementine - Just kill him.

Luke-what?! Clem, I don't...

A gunshot rang out across the empty space, and they looked at Kenny, who had shot Carver in the knee. Two more shots were heard, one in the head of the man that Duck had immobilized, and another in the other knee of Carver, who groaned in pain as he fell to the ground.

Kenny- You should have died long ago Carver. Or killed me when you had the chance.

He said, putting the rifle on his back and picking up a crowbar further ahead.

Carver- Oh no Kenneth, I still had plans for you and your friend.

Kenny-... Go ahead, I'll be right behind.

Luke - What?

Clementine arched an eyebrow as she saw Kenny clench his crowbar, but didn't move.

Kenny- Go. You don't need to see this.

He looked at Duck, and then at Clementine. The girl could see that there was something else in Kenny's eyes, a different kind of anger than she had seen.

"Did Carver do something else against him?" - She thought, looking at Kenny's almost gleeful face.

Luke- Whoa whoa whoa, really? There isn't a part of this son of a bitch I don't hate, but still, that's not a reason to beat him with a crowbar. It's not right!

he said, a little agitated, taking a few steps away from Carver's fallen body.

Clementine-I'm not going anywhere.

Kenny looked at her, a strange glint in his eye.

Kenny- This is going to get messy.

Clementine- I know.

Clementine- Clementine, my dear, you make me proud. I told you you and I are more alike than you thought.

Luke - Shut up Bill!

They ignored each other and started to leave one by one.

Clementine surrounded Carver, standing in front of him just a few steps away.

Sarita- No way Clementine, I'm not letting you see this!

She tried to pull the girl away, who just backed away from the woman.

Clementine- That's not your decision, Sarita.

She didn't look at the woman, she concentrated only on looking into Carver's eyes.

Carver- That's my girl! She's not afraid to look it in the eye. You go with that feeling you have now Clementine. It's what makes you stronger than the rest of them.

Sarita looked at Clementine with some sorrow, but followed the others soon after.

Carver looked at Kenny again, not intimidated to see him walking toward him with the crowbar.

Carver- You know, I intended to use your son to get you to confess, to tell me where your friend is. Hahahaha, you would see me gouge out his eye, just like he did with a scar from his failure, just like your frie...

He was interrupted by a blow with the crowbar, which caused his head to be thrown back and blood to spurt from his face.

Kenny began to spank his face, each blow harder than the last, ignoring the blood splashing on his clothes.

Clementine watched without blinking, without looking away, staring curiously at Carver's deformed face, which became more grotesque with each blow. She felt nothing at that sight, no remorse, no disgust, no regret, nothing.

And as she looked at Kenny, she could easily see herself in his place. To see herself beating Carver to death.

She felt strong at that thought, felt good to see that she was capable of subduing someone like Carver.

She liked it.
