Lol I'm sorry if you're a Ron fan but thank you for reading my story!
Benjis VIP—lol I always liked Lucius (besides the fact that he's evil lol) so I was surprised when I made him all "grr" lol I know I had a reason for it that I don't remember now lol
Lady.of.the.stars1—lol you're too funny, thanks for the review!
HonEySky—don't worry, Ben is not in actuality Draco though I do see why you could think that and I think that some other people have suspicions about it too. Thanks for reviewing!!!
Tygrressatheart---lol my sister said that if I didn't get a job soon that I would end up being a bum; good thing I got one, now she cant say that to me anymore lol good luck on getting a job and thank you for reviewing my story
Kenny7—lol don't worry, if I don't update fast enough you can throw the rock so keep it somewhere safe lol

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a hold of my beta, starry serpent, so I'm afraid that this chapter has gone unbeta'ed. This is the reason why this chapter hasn't been posted; I've been waiting for her to send me back the beta'ed copy. I hope she's alright... If anyone would like to beta this chapter and story until starry serpent comes back please just tell me in a review. I would really appreciate it. On with the story...
Harry gave his mother a weak smile before sitting down opposite of her. At first he thought that they would simply stare at each other for all of eternity because she only looked at him, not letting one word escape her lips. Then, as she let out a sigh and began to speak Harry quickly dropped his eyes to the floor as if he had suddenly become very fascinated with the tiles.
"Harry, I don't want this to be awkward...for either of us, so I'm not going to jump to any conclusions. I'm just going to let you talk, alright?" Mrs. Potter said while looking very concernedly at her son.
"I don't know what to say," Harry said back in hopes that his mother would leave him be. No such luck.
"Fine, then I'll just be blunt and to the point. Are you...seeing Draco?" She asked in such a way that made Harry think she was embarrassed at asking the question.
Well, that was extremely to the point...
"Yes," Harry replied without looking at his mother.
"Well...well, you know that your father and I don't really think highly of such things but...well, you are my son and you know I love you and if this is what you ::really:: want...then I wont stop you. I can't speak for your father, goodness knows how he is going to take all this but you know you have to tell him you know that, right? And I mean soon..." Lily Potter carefully said to Harry.
"I know," Harry said barely above a whisper.
For some reason Lily felt as if she was going to cry but kept it back with a simple sniff before she hugged her son. When she let him go and began to speak once more, her tone changed from soft and understanding to sharp and strict.
"And don't you even think for a second that just because you are both boys that you don't have to be careful. And you shouldn't even be thinking of that anyway! You are much too young, Harry James Potter, do you understand me? Much much too young!" She said while pointing a finger at Harry.
"Arh! Mum, I'm seventeen, I don't need to hear this. I know all about it anyway!" he said back to his mother in hopes of being able to get away.
"Already know this?! How?!" Mrs. Potter said, not liking that her baby could know such things.
"I don't know! School!" Harry replied quickly with the first safe answer he thought of. "I have to take a shower, mum, I'm going down to the store, remember?" And with that he practically ran upstairs.
Well, it could have been worse. Ugh, I cant believe she actually thought I would listen to her give me a speech about sex.
Once he was out of the shower and dressed, he went back downstairs while hoping that if he was able to make a quick exit he would able to avoid his mother and possibly his father if he had gotten back yet. Of course fate was against him. Before he got to the door he passed the living room where his father was currently sitting.
"Hey, kid! Your mother told me you had something to tell me, what's up?" He cheerfully asked.
Oh God.
For a moment Harry was seriously considering saying "nothing" and then walking out the door but then he saw his mother walk into the room and he quickly squashed the idea in his mind. The only thing he could do now was sit down and tell his father. But how could he tell him? How could he tell the man who had always said "You're a ladies' man, just like your old man" to him with a playful smile after he had brought a girl over the house? The man that told him after the breakup with his old girlfriend that someday he would find a wonderful girl to marry and then would be able to make him a grandfather? It was impossible. He sat down on the couch across from his father and just stared at him. He couldn't think of any easy way of telling him or even a very complicated way that would confuse his father to the point that he would just "oh, that's great!" When Harry saw his father give him a weird look because of his silence Harry decided to just say it.
"I'm gay," Harry said while looking directly into his father's eyes and then simply waited to see what he would say. But James said nothing. He just looked at Harry for a moment and then smiled.
Oh my God I think I gave him a heart attack.
James' smile soon turned into laughter.
"Good one, kiddo. I really thought...you...were...serious," James began to hesitate after seeing Harry's nervous face. He then looked over to his wife who was sporting the same nervous look on her face. He then weakly smiled, looking nervous himself. His nervous look soon dissolved into one of realization.
"Are you and Draco---"
"Yes."
"Oh, well...I...Lily?" James said weakly and then looked to his wife for some sort of help.
"I've already told him that I'm not going to try to put a stop to any of it, James. After all, he ::is:: our son and he should be able to have feelings for whoever he wants to, right?"
"Well, when you put it that way, I suppose you're right..." James slowly said before looking back to his son. "She's right, Harry," and then after a short hesitation James continued, "I'm going to have to change the way I think about...this sort of thing." He then stood up and said, "Come here, kid" and hugged Harry while saying, "Besides, we can't throw you out on the street, you're family" with a laugh which made Harry push him away and start laughing too.
"Well, I have to get down to the music store, so I'll see you guys later. Oh, and I'm going to the pizza place with Hermione afterwards, alright?"
"Okay, honey. Good luck! Bye!" his mother called out to him.
Thank you God for my parents.
From Harry's house to the music store when walking was about fifteen minutes so Harry took his time. He thought about how seemingly easy it was to tell his parents about him and Draco and just when he began to wonder if Draco had told his parents that he was gay, he saw the white-haired boy sitting on his porch steps with a stick in his hand pushing around dirt. Harry noticed the distressed look on his face and walked quickly towards him.
"Draco? Are you alright?" Harry questioned, as he got closer. "Oh God, Harry! Are you okay? What did your mother say to you? What happened? Stop standing there, tell me!" Draco said all in one breath.
"Calm down, everything is fine. I told them both; it wasn't too bad actually. I mean, its not like they're thrilled about it but they aren't going to disown me or anything..."Harry replied with an appreciative smile on his face. He liked how Draco cared so much.
"Oh, I was so worried. When I came back home I thought that I should go back and be with you when you told your parents but I didn't want to interrupt if you had already started talking. I was so nervous, I even thought that they wouldn't let you see me anymore..."Draco finished with underlying sadness.
"Aww," Harry said with a laugh and gave his boyfriend a hug. Then he heard Draco mumble something that sounded suspiciously like, "It's not funny," so he replied with a mumbled, "Yes, it is," and proceeded to tickle Draco who quickly backed out of the embrace with his arms at the ready.
"As much as I would love to stay here and tickle you, I really have to get going. If you want I could stop by after I get pizza with Hermione..." Harry said.
"I thought you were going to invite Hermione over though?"
"Well, maybe the three of us could hang out together. Don't think I didn't notice all those books you have on the shelf underneath your desk. Hermione would love to have a look at them and knowing her she would probably pay just to see us hold hands," Harry said with a grin.
"Alright then. I'm not planning on going out so you guys can stop by whenever," Draco replied.
"Cool, I'll see you later then..." Now Harry was unsure of what to do. Should he kiss him goodbye or just leave? Maybe Draco didn't want to be kissed in public. Harry was soon snapped out of his thoughts though when he felt Draco's lips on his. But as soon as he had felt them, they disappeared.
"See you later," Draco replied while trying to hold back a laugh because of the goofy grin Harry was sporting. Then he sat back down on the steps and watched Harry go down towards Main Street.
When Harry walked into the music store, he saw Hermione putting out new CD's on the racks. "Hey Hermione!"
"Oh! Hey Harry. Ooooh, first day on the job," Hermione said was a laugh, "Phil's in the back, he said to send you to him when you got here so just go right in."
"Oh, okay, well I'll see you soon," Harry said before he walked to the back door. About fifteen minutes later he walked back out and went to the register were Hermione was ringing someone up. When she was done she turned to him, "So, when are you working till?"
"Well, Phil said that I only need to be here for a few more hours because that's when the day shift ends and that's what I'll usually be working. So I guess I'll be leaving whenever that is, he's not a very talkative person is he? He told me that you would explain everything to me and to remind you that my shirt and nametag have to be ordered and that I have to be put into the computer so I can clock in and out."
"Alright then, lets get started you, newbie," Hermione said smiling.
At five o'clock they left the store and headed down to Lou's. Hermione was practically pushing Harry there because she wanted juicy details and she wanted them right then and there. When they finally had gotten there and had ordered six slices of pizza, four of which Harry would be eating, Hermione looked at Harry expectantly with a huge grin on her face.
"Well? What happened between you two??" she asked, her voice full of excitement.
Okay, that's enough for this chapter. Lol I'll try my hardest to have another chapter out this weekend. I really hope you like this chapter, I'm a little wary of posting it without it being beta'ed because I'm not too sure of how well the plot works with the rest of the story but I couldn't keep you guys waiting much more.
