Days or nights could not get any better or worse. Red Villager left his house, and headed straight to Dr. Mario for a check-up on potions.
"Hey, Dr. Mario!" He greeted.
"Villager!" Dr. Mario noticed. "How are-a you tonight?"
"I felt more relieved, despite I'm still a vampire. How's the cure potions getting along?"
"I'm still-a working on them. It's-a gonna take-a some times to-"
Eight interrupted Dr. Mario when he joins in. "I hope you get them done sooner, Dr. Mario." He commanded. "Munchie told me that Ness is worrying about his life."
"And so is Fire Red." Red Villager added.
"I can't-a rush, boys." Dr. Mario told. "Just-a let me do my work here. Uh oh!"
"That can't be good..." Eight cried.
"Hold on-a... Looks like this one's a failure. If I were you, I would-a leave, now!"
"Come on, Eight!" Red Villager commanded.
Both Red Villager and Eight left the lab, and the potion exploded smoke right around Dr. Mario, but luckily he dodged it just to avoid the smoke. He also left the lab safely without getting any contractions with the smoke. He is heading straight to Simon and Richter, who are getting discharged soon.
"What's the result, Dr. Mario?" Simon asked.
Both Red Villager and Eight are now sitting down on one of the benches. Marth and Mario came to stop by.
"Hey, Marth." Red Villager greeted.
"Hello, you guys." Marth greeted back.
"Hey, Mario." Eight added.
"You came-a back okay!" Mario noticed.
"Well, Dr. Mario tried his best to make the vampire cure potion for everyone who were turned into vampires, but they did not work. At. All." Eight explained.
"Yeah! It totally exploded in the entire lab, and Dr. Mario had to leave without getting smoked on." Red Villager added.
"Mamma Mia!" Mario exclaimed.
"Ouch!" Marth also exclaimed. "I hope he's not transformed into anything."
"He did not!" Eight remembered. "He was glad he's out of the lab. He has to wait until all the smoke disappears. Instead, he's visiting Simon and Richter, making sure they're both okay after their surgery."
"Look at Pikachu!" Marth told. "He's feeling as good as new, my friends."
"Pika!" Pikachu smiled. It translates: "My friends!"
"Pikachu!" Red Villager exclaimed.
"Hey there, buddy!" Eight added.
"Yeah, he felt-a better since this-a morning. I was-a only asleep, because of my conditions." Mario insisted.
"Good evening, friendly vampires, and a non-vampire." Smash Police greeted.
"Good evening, officer!" Marth greeted back.
"Well, we tried to cure the four that were turned into vampires, but they're not really curing."
"Does that mean these four are vampires for the rest of their lives?" Red Villager questioned.
"I'm afraid so. Any updates from Dr. Mario yet?"
"We did, but he failed it." Eight answered.
"The potions exploded right before he finishes them up." Marth added.
"Alright. What do you want me to do next?" Smash Police asked.
"Wario!" Mario answered.
"Good point, Mario! I'll check on Wario, and make sure he has garlic garden all set before that vampire comes back and turns more people into vampires."
"Go for it, officer!" Red Villager commanded.
The Smash Police left just to head over to Wario's place. Pikachu is looking out.
"Pika?" Pikachu questioned. It translates: "What's going on there?"
Back in Smash Hospital, Dr. Mario is reading the discharge papers for both Simon and Richter, because they are feeling a lot better, and good as new.
"Okeydokey, Simon and Richter." Dr. Mario instructed. "Both of you are now being-a discharged."
"What a relief!" Richter said, happily. "I felt so much better than I was before."
"I can be able to fight, but I might have to wait." Simon added.
"Well, because of the new set of potion, you two can-a fight again." Dr. Mario told them.
"Thanks for taking care of us, Dr. Mario!" Simon thanked.
"Not a problem!"
"Let's hope that doesn't happen again." Richter insisted.
"Listen, you two." Dr. Mario told. "If that-a vampire strikes-a back again, just fight her. Don't-a just stand there."
"We won't, but thanks." Simon replied, then thanked.
Simon and Richter are both being discharged from the hospital, because of that. Dr. Mario checks on the lab, and he starts working on the cure potion for those that were turned into vampires, and he won't experience failures this time anymore.
Meanwhile, Smash Police went from Marth, Mario, Red Villager, and Eight, straight to Wario. Something is not right, but Link comforting him.
"It's okay, Wario." Link told. "You tried."
"How am I gonna grow some-a more if I don't-a have any?" Wario asked.
"Hey, Link." Smash Police greeted. "What happened there?"
"Wario's garlic has been stolen." Link answered.
"Well, that answers the question."
"Instead, I'm trying my best to comfort Wario. He's fussy about all that, because garlic is his favorite food."
"If Wario's garlic is stolen, then there will be more vampires in Smash Town."
"Exactly!" Wario replied.
Cloud and Snake both appear, when they were witnessing what was happening to Wario.
"Your garlic was stolen, Wario?" Cloud asked.
"Yes!" He answered.
"Oh, man!"
"That's... unusual." Snake commented.
"Wario's been complaining about his garlic being stolen." Smash Police talked. "Link is trying his best to comfort him though."
"Thanks for letting us know." Snake thanked.
"These nights get wacky sometimes." Cloud added.
"They sure do." Smash Police agreed.
"Colonel, Smash Town has no garlic." Snake commanded, from his PA. "We're gonna have vampiric issues in this town."
"Well, I'm glad Pikachu felt a lot better this morning." Link smiled. "Hopefully, everything will be alright."
"Are you kidding me? I was just gonna head back to Marth and the other three guys that were standing outside the hospital." Smash Police told, before he gets interrupted by a call. "Oh, hang on! Yes, Dr. Mario?"
"Good news and bad news, officer." Dr. Mario replied. "The good news was-a that Simon and Richter are-a being discharged, and they are heading home. The bad news was-a that the potions were the failure."
"Well, Wario's garlic has been stolen. I'm trying to figure things out about how that just happened."
"Right you are!" He said.
"I'm heading to these four vampires that are standing by the plaza. I believe they're Marth, Mario, Villager, and Eight."
Smash Police left the group that were dealing with Wario's stolen garlic crisis, and he heads on over to the other four that were standing over by the plaza. Peach and Samus were also there, too.
"There you are!" Red Villager noticed.
"Oh, you brought two females here?" The officer questioned.
"I was like beginning to worry about them." Peach answered.
"Yeah, and we're trying our best to cure them naturally, but they never work." Samus added.
"The potion's the only thing that can help with the cure, miss Samus." Smash Police told.
"I felt like I'm craving more blood, but I'm trying to keep myself from biting people." Red Villager insisted.
"I've got the packs of blood." Marth told.
"Listen, you guys." Smash Police instructed. "Wario's garlic has been stolen, which means there will be more vampires in Smash Town."
"That's just crazy!" Eight exclaimed.
"I would never do such thing like that." Samus insisted.
"Yeah, I saw him." Smash Police remembered. "Link's trying to comfort him, but it's never getting any better."
"MAMMA MIA!" Mario exclaimed.
"Well, that's unexpected." Marth commented.
"I know, sire. But you know what? I got a call from Dr. Mario. Simon and Richter are heading straight back home, as they were being discharged at the hospital." Smash Police mentioned. "They're healed, and they are a lot better, good as new."
"That's good!" Peach smiled.
"I'm glad they're heading straight back home okay." Red Villager added.
"Alright, I'm heading straight back to the police station. Once the potion is a success in one of the fourteen vampires here in Smash Town, then start the battle against the vampire that has tendencies on turning people."
"Thank you, officer!" Eight thanked.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu told. It translates: "Take good care of Smash Town!"
"There's no time to waste, my friends." Red Villager commanded. "We'll check over Smash Town, and make sure no more of anyone are turning."
"Yeah, I had a feeling that the entire town's gonna be vampires, with some of the exceptions." Marth said. "Yeah, I do really mean it, and they'd be like me, being vampires."
