Okay, this one is extremely short and in first person, but-eh-it works XD When I said 'random', I meant 'random.' Also, I have no idea what this is other then-
What are you talking about? Oh, hiya, peoples! I thought I'd drop since-
Dick, what are you doing here!
Well this is my story, isn't it?
*rolls eyes* It's 'is it not?' and yes, but I'm the editor.
It's just a letter I wrote, but okay. That just means I know who to blame for any disdainful typos.
*sigh* *shoves him out the door* Just go.
Anyway, sorry 'bout that. *eyeroll* he's been testy lately. Here you go. Hope you like it! :D
Commander Titan,
As Mason is well known for his harsh bias on such matters, allow me to post my argument first. I didn't mean anything by it except as a mere jest. Surely you understand that.
See, it started like this:
Since I was currently staying at the Senate barracks, Mason and I were heading on our way to pick up some stuff before I left again for my next assignment; it was an area we both knew extremely well, the sky traffic there was fairly empty, and the trip was silent. However, where I was to get the supplies was in a section of Coruscant that I was unfamiliar with. The real fun began, though, as we were coming up on the line between where I knew and the unknown great beyond...
The trip was quiet...well, quiet as Coruscant can be during near lunch time. In all literality (is that a word? Is it? Eh, well if it wasn't, it is now XD...Don't judge my emos!) In all literality, it was near deafening because of all the traffic. Horns were blaring, people were shouting out in road-rage (whatever that is), and speeders - typically the ones out of the air-lanes - were zooming too close to the other drivers. (Now do you see why I hate being in the city? I know some people find that as the only way to live, but obviously not for me.)
Anyway, luckily, after about fifteen minutes, the noise died away as we headed into the more...what would be called 'rural' area of the city-planet. This was a fairly well known area for me, as I often traveled there for one reason or another - usually because that was where I found most of my gear - so I had no trouble mentally mapping where we were...But then we began moving towards the sky-lane I'd never went passed merely because I had no reason to.
Since Mason was driving (speeding at three miles above the speed-limit, I might add), all I could do was watch as we neared it. But as we got closer, I smiled to myself; I had suddenly thought of a way to make that trip just a bit more interesting...for me, at least.
I started counting down the familiar turn lanes that lead to the new one. Five. Four. Three. Two...
We passed the last familiar turn signal. I casted a sly sideways grin at Mason...and screamed.
''AAAAHHHH, I'M LOST!''
The look on his face when I gripped the dashboard like a madman was priceless. As soon as he caught on though, I was (shamelessly) laughing hysterically for the next three minutes. I could have lived without ever seeing the death glare he gave me afterwards, but it was worth it. After all, I knew he wouldn't try throttling me until after we returned to my quarters...
Thus ends my dramatic narrative. *insert bow*
Peering down at flimsi sheet in his hands, Titan shook his head, grinning.
Ah. Sunshine, just what am I going to do with you?
Throwing his head back as he laughed again, he set down that note only to pick up another.
Okay, Mason, what's your side on this...since you sent yours in first...
Konec (Czech) the end
This is one of those that you don't try at home XD
Anyway, hope you enjoyed reading this! :D
Special thanks to Revee, STARWARZMYLIFE, The Caramel Cat, and KarajeJinsta for reviewing chapter one! :D I'm so glad you all like the story!
