summary: Zach's tired. Booth's
bored. Booth watched Crocodile Dundee with Parker the night before.
Here ensues the hunt of the Legendary Zaddy, predator or prey?
Don't disturb Zach, he hasn't been sleeping very well lately." That was the only warning Booth was given from Temperance Brennan. Well, he was bored.
"Here we have the extremely rare creature, the legendary Zaddy. Smarter than the average bear and every other creature, it remains the most elusive, noted by fortunate observers to be a nervous babbling animal." Booth crept up onto the youngest squint at the Jeffersonian, leaned in near an impossibly attractive ear. "Boo!"
"Aah!" The legendary Zaddy acted on instinctual defensive reflex. Its predator found himself on his back on the floor with the strange Zaddy posed to fight or flee. The Zaddy blinked. "I'd never hit Agent Booth, logically, dream." Then kissed the feeb he was straddling. "Woah, realistic." Then bounced off to 'gog-knows-where.'
Booth blinked. Rapidly. Before being able to process the mere fact that Zach Addy had taken him down effortlessly, he was on the receiving end of a kiss that confused the hell out of him. Mostly confused because it definitely interested him, even if he couldn't respond quickly enough. Interesting.
"Behold, the fuzzy Zaddy lures predators with cuteness, to then neutralize said predators with hidden survival tactics." Booth blushed under Hodgins' amused glance. Brennan popped her head into the room, noting the federal agent laid out on the floor with Hodgins smirking just out of range.
"Told you not to bug Zach."
"The unsuspecting predator realizes only too late the extent of effect the legendary Zaddy has on motor functions and the respiratory system."
"What?" She couldn't have heard that right. Hodgins let out a girlish squeal while scampering away from Booth who silently stood to brush is pants off and straighten his suit, trying to gather his shredded dignity.
