Disclaimers: I don't own the F4 characters (see? Plain and simple).
A/n Yeah, it was all a dream, this isn't though.

Chapter 21
Breakfast had been like it had been the past few of days, quiet and lonely, even if the five of them sat together.
It was the same silence they sat in the transit van. Situations were very similar to Maria's dream, only the five were actually watching the screen with the occurrences happening on it. Maria had made sure they were watching it, hoping if her dream was a prediction, if she did different things she could change the way what had happened.
It appeared that her changing occurances were paying off. They could see Jack's dad, he had brown hair opposed the black he had in the dream, and he wasn't holding a gun .
In fact, he wasn't doing anything of interest at all. Just sitting down and chatting with his friends. He seemed like a normal person, just sitting a drinking coffee…
Maria couldn't help but wander what would happen it if the bomb went off. Would Reed melt like plastic? Would Sue die like a normal human? Would Johnny over heat and suffocate, or maybe he'd explode? Would Ben heat up, and then explode like heated up rock, or melt into malten lava like other rock? What would happen to her? Would she survive and be the only person left on the planet? No, of course not, only her skin was indestructible, if she was to inhale the heat, her inside would evaporate, and all that would be left of her would be a shell…
She shook her thoughts from her head. Seeong her discomfort, Johnny took hold of her hand, and gave it a squeeze. She smiled sympathetically at him, silently wishing he'd burn her, then feeling happy he didn't. On the other side of her sat her father. On the other side of Johnny sat Sue and then Reed, the remainder three didn't know about her dream, but they were still silent.

"You know it would be like Humpty Dumpty," Jack's dad's voice could suddenly be heard coming from the speakers. Tony (who had been watching close by in the cafe) had gone to sit on atable near him, and what was being said was now audible due to his hidden microphone.
One man on the screen nodded, "Yeah, only there'll be no kings horses and kings men to put planet Earth back together again…" he said.
Jack's dad laughed, "Yeah," he replied. "This is serious though, we're all in this, right?" he asked, his friends nodded. "If you guys want to back out, go ahead… I won't blame you…" he said solemnly.

Back in the transit van, ten eyes widened. "I don't believe it, he actually thinks this is the right thing to do…" Sue said surprised.
Ben shook his head in disbelief, "He thinks he's the good guy in all this," he said.
"Maybe he believes what he's doing is right," Maria said, and the other four looked at her. "To him, he's the hero, he's the king, and no one can tell him otherwise. He believes he's doing the right thing, therefore he is doing the right thing. Just because no one agrees with him, it doesn't mean he's wrong…" she explained, and caught the looks that were being sent to her. "I'm not justifying what he's doing, I'm just trying to understand it…" she explained. If psychology taught her anything, it taught her to think outside the box, look for reasons for another's behaviour.
The other four nodded, they at least hoped they understood what she was talking about.
They all returned their attention to the screen.

"Have you told anyone?" one guy asked, the other three on the table looked at each other, and shook their heads. They all did save for Jack's dad.
"My son found out," he confessed. "That's why he killed himself," he said sadly. "My wife said goodbye to me this morning…" he said.
One guy, with no hair rubbed his shoulder, "I'm sorry…" he said. "I'm even sorry for what happened when that Water girl got hurt…" he paused, "that wasn't supposed to happen," he shook his head.
"It's ok Steve," Jack's dad said, "It was a mistake, but we've drilled deeper now, and planted them all. That one hadn;'t been rigged properly, they are now" he pause. "… you guys ready to press the buttons?" he asked.
The four men nodded and reached under the table.
"FREEZE!" immediately the four were surrounded by guns. "Put your hands up, and get away from the booth!" Tony instructed.
The four men looked at each other, and each gave a slight nod. They each pressed the buttons under the table.

The Fantastic Five didn't have anytime to react, they didn't even know what was going on, and the Earth exploded before each realised it was going to happen. (The next bit may be a little disturbing, so I suggest you go read the epilogue after and have a little laugh).
