Chapter 5: Foundational Hero Studies! Supersonic vs Solaris!

As much as Sonic respected Midnight as a hero, he was finding her a little overwhelming as a teacher. Thankfully, the bell for lunch was ringing in his ears.

"That's all for today students. Remember what you learnt, and I'll see you all next time. You're dismissed."

Sonic had been waiting for this. He was finally going to meet the other students of the hero course. He had to stop himself from bowling over his other classmates in his rush to get to the door. The second he was through it though; he was jogging at a fast pace towards the cafeteria. He paused at his locker, grabbing his lunch bag from his bag before continuing his pace. Entering the cafeteria with plenty of time to spare, he looked around for any microwaves he could use. He frowned when he didn't see any.

"That's odd. Where are the microwaves?"

"They're upstairs. Inconvenient place, I know." Sonic glanced to the speaker, who stood a few feet taller than him. Then again, who wasn't? The blond-haired boy's face was simplistic, almost as if someone had drawn his beady blue eyes onto his face. Sonic couldn't help but see the face of a comic book character he'd seen once in Longclaw's collection of foreign comics. He couldn't, for the life of him, put his finger on what his name was though.

"Why are they up there?"

"Lunch Rush wants to encourage students to eat his lunches. His food is five stars after all." The boy offered Sonic a hand. "Mirio Togata. I'm a third-year here." Sonic was happy to accept the gesture.

"Sonic. I'm a member of Class 1-S."

"So I've heard. Your class is really something. At least, that's what Nejire told me." As if on cue, a pretty girl with long blue hair floated down from the upper level of the cafeteria.

"Hey hey! You're the hedgehog who broke the sound barrier with his arm right?" Before he had the chance to respond, she was in his face, asking a thousand and one questions. "How does your quirk work? Can you move the rest of your body just as fast? Oh, how about you? What's it like being a Humanoid?" A tentacle grabbed her by the back of her collar and pulled her out of his face.

"Please Nejire, you're making a scene." A timid looking boy stood behind her, a look of nervousness plastering his face. Mirio laughed loudly.

"Sonic, these are my friends, Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amajiki. We're known as the Big Three of UA."

"The Big Three?"

"Yeah yeah! The teachers think we have the best shot at becoming Pro Heroes that can make it into the top ten. Pretty cool right?"

"They all think too highly of us." Sonic sweat-dropped when he saw Tamaki place his head on the nearby wall. "It's overwhelming."

"Is… Is he ok?" Nejire nodded with a small sigh.

"Tamaki is really powerful, but he has the heart of a flea. You should see him in action. Or better yet, all of us!" She beamed brightly. "I think you guys in 1-S would give us a run for our money when you make it to our level!" Mirio took the opportunity to retake control of the situation.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Sonic, but you need to eat, so we won't keep you any longer." With a flick of his hand, he gave the hedgehog a thumbs up. "Have fun this year!"

"The feeling is mutual. Oh and don't worry. I will."

Waving goodbye to the Big Three, Sonic made his way up to the upstairs area. Finding the microwaves was easy after Mirio's directions and was soon walking back down the stairs, keeping an eye out for a certain green-haired boy. He was itching to meet new people. Scanning the crowd, he finally found who he was looking for on one of the tables in the middle of the room. He casually strolled up behind Izuku and waited off to the side for a break in the conversation with his friends. The second there was, he was at the back of his chair. He propped an arm onto it before speaking.

"I told you that you had what it takes didn't I?" Izuku visibly jumped as he turned around. The boy's eyes widened with recognition. "How you doin' Midoriya?"

"It's you! The Humanoid from the train." He looked away sheepishly. "I'm sorry, but I've forgotten your name."

"Don't sweat it. It's Sonic. Nice to finally meet you again. This time, as fellow students."

"Likewise."

"Forgive me, but who are you?" Looking away from Izuku, Sonic was met with the gaze of the boy with glasses. Now it was Sonic's turn for his eyes to widen with recognition.

"Hey! You're the guy who had the stick stuck up his butt at the entrance exam!" The girl with brown hair sitting next to him burst out laughing while he gasped.

"How rude!"

"He does have a point Iida."

"Uraraka!" Sonic chuckled a little.

"I'm kidding. Sorry, that was uncalled for. I'm Sonic. Pleasure to meet you all." The spiky redhead sitting next to Izuku chose then to jump in.

"Hi Sonic. My name is Eijiro Kirishima! Nice to meet you. Are you a friend of Midoriya's?" Sonic shrugged before he took a bite out of his Chilli Dog.

"You could say that. I met him on the train the day before the exam. We talked a little before I had to get off, that's all." Izuku waved his hands around.

"But you made my day back then. You told me that I could be a hero. At the time, not many people told me that, so it was kinda a big deal. Now that I think about it, it's strange how I forgot your name…"

"Like I said, it's no sweat at all." He glanced to the others. "So what are your names?" The boy with the glasses bowed his head.

"My name is Tenya Iida. Nice to meet you Sonic."

"And I'm Ochaco Uraraka!"

"I know this probably sounds pretty sudden thing to ask, but what are your quirks? If you don't mind me asking of course." Sonic couldn't help himself. He just had to know. Kirishima flexed his arm and Sonic was amazed when it hardened up.

"My quirk is Hardening. Basically, I can harden any part of any body for offensive or defensive purposes. It's super manly if you think about it." Ochaco picked up her fork and held it up. Making sure to touch it with the pads on her fingers, she let it go, letting it hang in the air.

"Mine is Zero Gravity. I can make anything I touch float. Obviously it also depends on the objects weight as to if I can make it float or not."

"You must be Infinity Girl then."

"Infinity Girl?"

"Someone got an infinity in the ball throw quirk assessment yesterday. We didn't know your name, so I started calling you Infinity Girl. The name kinda stuck." Ochaco blushed at that.

"Wow. I didn't realise I was popular already." Iida cleared his throat.

"My quirk is Engine. I have engines in my legs that act like a car engine. It allows me to move as fast as one. Possibly faster if I push myself." Sonic's eyes widened.

"How fast can you go?"

"Uh… possibly around 120m/h. Why?" Sonic let his face deflate at that.

"Oh. And here I was thinking I'd have some competition." Izuku, who'd been scribbling in his notebook, raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well my quirk, Supersonic, lets me break the sound barrier just by running." He let it sink into them.

"WHAT!?" Their shouts caught the attention of most of the cafeteria. Including a certain angry dusty blonde…

"No way! That's insane!" Sonic waved his hand around dismissively.

"It is, yes. And for that reason, I'm apart of Class 1-S." Iida blinked once.

"Class 1-S? There's a third first-year hero course class?"

"Yep. 1-S is what the school is calling an elite class. Taught by the one and only Longclaw." Izuku's eyes sparkled.

"Longclaw!? Wow, that's incredible! I'll have to see if I can find her and ask-"

"Oi." Sonic glanced behind him to find a boy with dusty blond hair and an angry scowl on his face. "What's this about an elite class?"

"It's a class for those who scored over one hundred points in the entrance exam." The boy's crimson eyes widened angrily.

"There's no way there were people who got more points than me! I got the highest score." Sonic had a feeling where this was going but decided to press on. He wanted to have some fun with him.

"Well no. There were twelve of us that got more than one hundred. I scored one hundred and forty points myself." The way Izuku's eyes widened when he heard that was not lost on Sonic.

"You probably don't want to wind up Kacchan Sonic. He can be really aggressive." Izuku whispered to him. With a nod, Sonic shrugged his shoulders.

"Look Kacchan, just face it-"

"THE FUCK YOU CALL ME!?" Ah. That wasn't what he was trying to do. Small explosions popped in his hands as he glared at him with murderous intentions. "Let's see if you can talk once I put you six feet under Roadkill!" That was the only warning he got before he was coming at him. Sonic could easily dodge, but he didn't want Izuku and Co behind him to get hurt. So he stood his ground.

He didn't have to worry though.

Just as the blond was about to hit him, he froze on the spot, electricity dancing around his body briefly. Sonic raised an eyebrow.

"Er… Were you testing me? Did I pass?"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP ROADKILL! I CAN'T MOVE!"

"That's because you're under the influence of my quirk." Behind him, the girl with the fox ears and crystal tail from Sonic's class was giving him a glare. "And furthermore, what gives you the right to attack one of your fellow students?"

"The hell are you Foxy? I'll fucking kill you!" She let out a huff.

"Good luck with that." She simply sauntered past him. The explosive blond attempted to grab her, but his paralysed body wouldn't let him. The fox girl simply pushed him to the side. "You ok hedgehog?" Sonic gave her an affirmative nod.

"You bet. Thanks for that. You can just call me Sonic by the way." He glanced to Kacchan for a moment. "What's his problem?"

"I CAN STILL HEAR YOU ROADKILL! AIN'T NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!"

"Kacchan… Sorry, Katsuki Bakugou was my childhood friend." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I don't feel like talking about it right now though."

"S'cool. I get it." Sonic turned back to his classmate. "What's up with him?" He pointed to Bakugou, who was growling loudly at the voluptuous beauty.

"That's one of the many effects of my quirk."

Ahri Vastayan

Quirk- Will of the Wisps:

Ahri can create small orb like wisps to use in any way she wants. The damage/effect of each wisp depends on what she wants them to do. For example, she could use a wisp to inflict a status condition to her foes, manipulate her opponent's emotions, or just to entertain her friends and fans. It all comes down to the limit of her imagination.

Izuku quickly found a fresh page in his notebook and quickly jotted down some notes.

"So you can paralyse people with your wisps?"

"Yep. I can also burn or freeze them as well." More scribbling from Izuku.

"That would be an efficient way of capturing villains…" He mumbled to himself. Iida spoke up again.

"I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge, but who are you?"

"Ahri Vastayan. Pleasure to meet you." Kirishima's eyes widened.

"The small-time idol Vastayan? You gotta tell me, have you met Noa Kashima before?" Ahri chuckled at his enthusiasm.

"I haven't sorry. You said it yourself. I'm only a small-time idol. Though if I do meet her, I'll let you know."

While the others talked to Ahri, Sonic leaned over Izuku's shoulder to have a look at what he was writing. On the page, was a finely detailed description of Ahri's quirk. He hummed quietly, as to not startle Izuku of his presence.

"You really do like other people's quirks." Izuku blushed a little.

"I do, yeah. See, up until recently, I was quirkless. I loved to analyse other people's quirks. If you look here…" He flipped through his notebook, showing Sonic all the different analyses he'd done on other heroes. For example, Bakugou's quirk came from his sweat, becoming explosive when he wanted it to be. Another quirk he'd detailed was that of someone called Momo Yaoyorozo, who could apparently create anything she wanted with a thought. Only, she had to know some serious mumbo-jumbo about the object to actually make it. One page that stood out to Sonic, which made him smile, was Kyouka. She had a lengthy amount of scribbles on how she could improve her quirk. Sonic pointed to himself.

"Would you like to know how my quirk works?" Izuku's eyes shined brightly.

"If you don't mind! That'd be great."

Sonic spent the remainder of lunch, chatting to Izuku about quirks. Sonic discovered that Izuku's own quirk, some form of power enhancing type, had only manifested not too long ago, while Izuku simply enjoyed discovering more about Sonic's quirk than some of the others he had. When the bell had rung again, Izuku's two pages on Sonic were practically filled to the brim. The two also exchanged numbers before both heading back to their own classes.

Luckily, Ahri didn't forget about Bakugou and freed him from his paralysis once they were out of the cafeteria. Safe to say, he was less than thrilled to meet Izuku's new "shitty" friends.

A car pulled up to the to the school. As soon as it stopped, a girl got out and collected her things from the boot. Her chaffer also got out and approached her.

"Are you sure you want to do this Young Mistress? The world of heroes is a ruthless place."

"I'm quite sure Gardon. You can't talk me out of this." She casted a glare to him. "I will prove to mother and father that I can do this. I won't let anyone stand in my way." The chaffer bowed his head respectively.

"Yes of course. Have fun Young Mistress." The girl pulled her bag over her shoulder, bumping the staff-like object already hanging there. Without another word, the girl made her way onto the schoolgrounds, unaware that her first day was going to be far more interesting than she bargained for…

"Who do you think is going to be teaching our next class?"

"Foundational Hero Studies? Hmm. I'm not certain, but I've heard rumours that it's being taught by All Might."

"All Might!? No way!"

Class 1-S were waiting in their classroom for the teacher to make their appearance. Hana had butted herself into Miles and Daniel's conversation when she heard the number one's name. Miles chuckled at her enthusiasm.

"Like I said, it's only a rumour."

"Rumour, shumour. I bet you a thousand yen it is!" To prove a point, she produced said bill and waved in front of Miles' face. He faltered slightly at her competitiveness.

"I'm alright thanks."

"You sure? What about you Hugo?" Daniel had the same response. Hana pouted and turned back to her desk. "Chickens." She mumbled to herself.

Suddenly, a loud booming voice was heard from the hallway not a moment later.

"Never fear students. Why?" There was a pause, everyone looking at the door in anticipation. However, it never opened.

"Is… Is he coming in?" Leafa asked no one in particular. There was another bout of silence before everyone was given the fright of their lives when the back door was flung open.

"Because I'm coming through the back door for a change!" His laughter filled the room as the class tried to regain themselves. Leafa was the one who spoke up first.

"Damnit! He juked us!"

"Correct! You were… Juked? What does that even mean…?" Clearing his throat, All Might strolled up the isle between the row of desks within the small classroom. "But now is not the time to be worrying about that. What you need to be focused on now is this!" When he reached the front of the classroom, he dramatically grabbed a card off his Silver Age costume's belt and presented it for all to see. It had the word "Battle" on it.

"Battle training! The best way to earn experience of battle, is to train with one another. Today's lesson will take place in Mock-City B's park area. Once we have assembled there, I will further explain today's challenge. But first…" He pulled a remote out of his belt and pressed a single button. There was an awkward pause when nothing happened. With a few more presses, All Might scratched his head. "Huh. That's strange. Why isn't this working?"

Meanwhile in Class 1-B…

"Holy shit! Our costume storage is haunted!"

"Why is it opening and closing like that?"

"I don't wanna die!"

Back in 1-S, All Might finally realised his mistake. He blushed slightly.

"Ah. Whoops. Wrong remote." He cleared his throat and fished out the right one. "I hope nobody noticed that…" With a click of the right button, Class 1-S's blackboard raised itself up, revealing twelve briefcases, all numbered from one to twelve. Although the third briefcase's number was blacked out. Obviously for the class's mystery student. "Here are your hero costumes! Take the one that has your entrance exam position on it and change into it. I will meet you at the gate to Mock-City B." With that, All Might was gone, leaving a trail of steam behind him.

Sonic was first to grab the briefcase with the number two on it, being the quickest and all, and headed to the lockers. Sonic hadn't given much thought to his costume when he was asked to submit a design before he started. Mostly because any pants he wore would be destroyed when he reached a high enough speed. So he decided to go with something simple. Changing into it, Sonic was out of there before the other guys had even reached the lockers. He wanted to be able to see everyone's costumes at the same time. Unsurprisingly, he was first to arrive at the gate, not even All Might was there yet.

Sonic's "costume" was a simple skin-tight long-sleeved shirt, blue in design, with black parts under his arms and sides while being separated by white lines. He had ditched his red bandana and swapped his "movie" shoes for his new "rider" boots. No pants. Seeing that people were going to be a while, he began to stretch his joints, the last thing he needed was to get a random cramp during the exercise.

All Might showed up a few minutes later, his eyes widening for a moment when he saw Sonic already there.

"How did you get here so quickly?" Sonic couldn't contain his grin.

"I like to call myself the fastest thing alive for a reason All Might. That, and I didn't exactly have much to put on."

"I see. Then let us wait for your classmates then shall we?"

When they did show up, Sonic couldn't keep his excitement down, staring at everyone's costumes with wonder.

Kazuto was the embodiment of black, basically everything he was wearing sharing the same palette. Black shoes, black pants, black t-shirt, black gloves, black coat. Even his sword was black, from what he could tell from the hilt that was poking out over his shoulder. (Basic SAO Outfit.)

Leafa's was a bit more extravagant, sporting green and white clothes that he would have described as "Fantasy Fairy." The only exceptions were her boots, which were brown, and black shorts that were peeking out of the gaping hole in the front of her dress. (Basic ALO Outfit.)

Daniel went all out with his costume, wearing a red hoodie beneath his massive black and gold overcoat. His legs were covered by black pants and his feet sported an interesting set of high-top shoes. To top it all off, he wore a white fox mask (That he was later corrected that he called it a kitsune mask.). Pink lines lined his mask and the back of his overcoat too. (Drift Style 4.)

Rox wore a white zero suit with neon blue lights over her legs. The torso of her costume was pink with a strawberry on the left side while her boots were red. She wore an open pink jacket with a blue lining inside. On her right arm though, was a small window that showed off her skin. A pair of yellow fingerless gloves were over her hands too. (Rox Style 2.)

Ahri's costume was… borderline sexy to say the least. She wore a sleeveless bodysuit with gold zippers either side of where her belly button was. Around her bust, she wore a small white sleeveless shirt (He didn't even know if it was classified as one…), showing off the entirety of her cleavage. Over her legs, she wore black skin-tight leggings that went the entire way down to her feet, which were covered in a pair of black boots with gold soles. To top off her look, she wore a black choker with a gold hollowed out heart and a pair of gold bangles around her wrists. (K/DA Pop Stars Outfit.) Seriously, was it even legal for a high school girl to be wearing something so sexy? Her mature figure probably wasn't helping her case. Upon realising he'd been staring at her, Sonic cast his eyes over to the next person before Ahri noticed.

Miles had a simple costume that was easy to guess who it was inspired by. Based off the American Vigilante Spider-Man, his costume was red and blue with an almost identical design to him. Although, it seemed a little big on some parts. (Great Responsibility Suit from Spider-Man: Miles Morales.)

Bea's design was another simple one, wearing a black sleeveless bodysuit that went all the way down to her ankles underneath a white tank top with an orange fist on her chest. Her shorts were also white with an orange crisscross design, only with the seat of her shorts being black. She wore white fabric knee pads around her knees and a single black thumbless glove on her right hand, all four of her fingers being orange too. (Gym Leader Outfit without the numbers and sponsors.)

Despite his normally timid demeanour, Razor's costume was surprisingly awesome. He was wearing green camouflage pants, an orange poncho-like shirt and dark boots. He wore a brown/grey hooded coat that was decorated with belts. Around his neck, he wore a what Sonic assumed was necklace with three strange teeth looking things, topping it all off with a pair of thumbless orange gloves over both of his hands. (Regular outfit from Genshin Impact.)

Amy hadn't been certain on her hero costume either, so she submitted the same design as Sonic, who had joked that she had "stolen his idea" a few times. Only difference was the fact that Amy's colour palette was different. The chest and back sections were red while the top of her arms was her own shade of pink. Unlike Sonic however, she wore black compressed tights over her legs, disappearing into her red boots she always wore. (Check out the story's artwork for theirs.)

Similarly to Rox, Hana wore nothing but a blue zero suit over her slim figure. It had black parts running down the side of her all the way to her hips before being separated by the pink outlines that ran across the suit. The side of her legs were white, her left leg sporting a green logo with the word "Meka" on it. There was armour plating over her shoulders and around her neck too. You all know what design I'm talking about. In her right gloved hand, she held a small custom designed pistol with a keychain hanging off the grip of it. (Regular Overwatch outfit, obviously.)

All Might gave everyone a once over (His eyes bulged a little when he saw Ahri, obviously having the same questions that Sonic had.) before laughing loudly.

"Unique. I don't think I've ever seen costumes like yours ever in my life! But now, the time has come." The massive door to the mock city behind him began to slowly swing open. Once it was fully opened, All Might led the class through it and into the city. "Today's lesson will be on combat. Unlike the other classes who had to do indoor training, you will be conducting your battles outdoors. Mostly because the majority of you have some really destructive quirks. But fret not. You will have the chance to perform indoor training in the future." He threw his arms out towards the massive park that stood in front of them. "This will serve as our arena!"

Said area was rather flat as most in-city parks were, almost looking like Central Park in New York. Trees, ponds and play equipment littered the area that could possibly be considered hazards. There was a mixed reaction from everyone, but All Might shushed them all.

"I know it doesn't look like much but that's the point!" He produced a box out of literally nowhere and held it out to them. "We'll have six teams of two and yes, someone will have to go twice to make up for the lack of student. Three teams will play the heroes, who's objective is to capture the villains fleeing from the scene of a crime and immobilise them with the capture tape, while the other three teams will play the villains, who's objective is to either capture the heroes or last the ten-minute time limit. Anything goes, except obvious things that you all should know is not ok. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir!" Was their response.

"Good! Now place your hand in the box and pull out a card." They wasted no time in each taking a turn to pick one out and Sonic ended up with the letter E. Holding it up to his eyes, Sonic couldn't help but wonder who his partner was.

"Looks like we're partners Spikes." Sonic's eyes grinned when he saw Hana holding up her own card for him to see.

"Appears so. Hope you can keep up with me." Hana gave him a playful wink.

"Only one way to find out, yeah?" All Might retook the attention of his students with a simple cough.

"Ok. The hero teams are going to be… Let's say… Teams A, C and E. That means teams B, D and F are the villains."

So in Layman's terms it was…

Team A: Ahri and Razor vs Team B: Bea and Leafa.

Team C: Kazuto and Miles vs Team D: Rox and Amy.

Team E: Sonic and Hana vs Team F: Daniel and Bea, who was going twice.

"The boundaries for this exercise shall be the border of the park. Team B. Please find a place to start. Team A. Remain here until I say so. The rest of you follow me to the control room." Passing each of the teams' earpieces, All Might led the others away from the park and into a nearby security building. Inside, was a set of screens and raised steps that acted like seats. Taking his seat next to Amy, Sonic watched as All Might began the audio check.

"Who do you think's going to win?" She absent-mindedly asked. Sonic scratched his chin.

"To be honest, I think team A's going to win."

"What makes you think that?" Sonic jumped slightly when Hana leaned down from her seat above them. She had a curious look on her face that Sonic found kinda cute.

"Well, during lunch I got to talk to Vastayan briefly. Her quirk is one that has the potential to be perfect for capturing villains." Hana nodded her head thoughtfully.

"Ok. I look forward to seeing how Leafa and Saitou handle it then." Amy nudged Sonic with her elbow before giving him a thumbs up. Sonic simply rolled his eyes at her teasing.

Match One!

"You ready to catch some heroes Villainess Saitou?" Leafa was getting herself into the act of the villain, much to Bea's frustration.

"…"

"Oh come on. If we're going to work together, you're going to have to talk."

"We don't have to capture them you know. We can avoid them until the time runs out too."

"But where's the fun in that?" Leafa patted Bea on the back. "This is supposed to be a combat training session. We're bound to clash at some point."

"But we don't know what Ahri's quirk is. She never used it in the quirk assessment yesterday." Leafa's eyes widened when she realised that Bea was right.

"O-oh. Right. Well, we'd better be careful then. Play defensive?" A small smile crossed Bea's face.

"Sure." All Might's voice rang out in their ears.

"Heroes! The villains have escaped to the park! Find and capture them! Villains! Don't get caught! Let the exercise begin!" A pair of neon green wings materialised on Leafa's back and she floated into the air.

"What better way to avoid them than taking to the sky?" Offering Bea her hands, the martial artist jumped up and grabbed onto her wrists. With a quick burst of speed, they were up in the air high above the ground. Bea yelped when she looked down.

"Don't you dare drop me!"

"I won't! Even if I did, I'd still catch you before you hit the ground."

"I don't know if I should be reassured by that or not." She muttered to herself. Before Leafa could reply though, Bea caught something moving towards them at a high speed. "On your right!"

Flying towards them, were three wisp like orbs. And they were coming in hot. Leafa swerved in the air to avoid them.

"Yikes! What are those things?" Bea looked down to see the voluptuous fox girl on the ground creating more wisps to fire at them.

"She's attacking us from below."

"Good! That means neither her nor Andrius can fly. Don't let go!"

"I hand no intentions to." Bea muttered as she was yanked to the side again.

More wisps flew passed the two as Leafa dodged left and right. After a while, Ahri stopped sending them out and simply stood where she was, a grin on her face. Bea narrowed her eyes.

'What's she up to?' Movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. Glancing back, her eyes widened to see all the wisps that had passed them double back and were racing towards them. "Leafa! Look-"

Too late. Leafa felt a wisp pop against her back and a hot sensation flew across her body. Before she could counter it, the rest of them caught up and crashed into both girls, small explosions of fire bursting from within them. With a yep of pain, Bea's hands slipped, and she found herself falling. Her body was numb, probably paralysed for all she knew. She could see Leafa shooting towards her despite whatever pain she was enduring as well, and she really hoped she would make it before she was turned into a Bea pancake. That would be unpleasant.

Thankfully, she never hit the ground, as Leafa caught up to her and wrapped her arms around the fighter's waist. With a lurch, Leafa levelled them out and the two teens ended up hitting the ground before tumbling across it and (Unintentionally.) into the pond. Luckily, it wasn't a very deep pond and they lay there for a moment, Bea lying on top of Leafa. Bea gave Leafa a hard jab to her stomach, making her wince.

"Any later and I would be dead! Could you have cut it any closer!?" Leafa chuckled sheepishly.

"Sorry. I'm still working on maxing out my top speed with my wings."

"I'll say!" Bea brought her hands up so she could push herself up. She paused, staring at the massive mounds that were Leafa's boobs. She didn't know what came over her, but she found herself grabbing one and giving it a squeeze. Leafa let out an unceremonious squeak at the contact.

"W-what the hell!? What are you doing!?"

"They're soft."

"I… Yes but… There are people watching!"

"What's your secret?"

"Now is not the time to be trading boob secrets! We're being hunted remember!?" Leafa snapped, pushing herself up. This in turn, ended up giving Bea a face full of the orbs for a second before being bounced back. But Leafa was right. They were in the middle of something.

Bea felt embarrassed about her actions already. How could she let that happen? No one was supposed to know! She glanced to Leafa, who had a finger to her chin.

"Do you have a plan?" She asked, getting rid of the blush on her cheeks.

"Yeah. Thankfully, Vastayan must have cancelled out whatever effects she had on us so I could catch you, so it shouldn't be too difficult to cast a spell. Are you okay with staying in the same spot for the rest of the exercise?"

"That's fine with me." Leafa grabbed Bea's arm and pulled her into some large bushes standing near the edge of the pond. Once they were inside, Leafa chanted what Bea assumed was a spell of some sort, indescribable words floating around her. When she finished, she raised a hand up and the words dispersed. Bea watched in awe as the air around them began to shimmer. Leafa looked around before whispering to her.

"I used an illusion spell that'll keep us hidden from sight. If we speak any louder than this, the illusion will break, and we'll be visible again. Now we just need to wait the timer out."

"How long has it been so far?" Bea whispered back.

"About five minutes I think. We should be fine now."

And for the next three minutes, they stayed as quiet as possible, waiting for Ahri or Razor to appear. They both ended up bumping into each other in their area with a minute and a half to spare. The blondie and grey-haired girl remained silent, not wanting to give away their position.

"This is bad. Where'd they go?"

"I didn't see."

"I guessed that. If you had, you would've said so." Razor nodded timidly.

"I can find them."

"Really? Go for it then. We don't have much time left." Razor closed his eyes and sniffed the air. Something about the way he did worried Bea. She watched as Razor got down and sniffed the ground. He perked up at something before he jolted up and pointed to the bush they were hiding in.

"In there!" Ahri wasted no time in creating three wisps and shooting hem toward the bush. Leafa gasped as one of them hit her, freezing on the spot thanks to a thin layer of ice crawling across her skin.

"Eh!?"

"Got her!" The illusion must've broken as Razor pounced towards their bush. Bea made a split-second decision and thrust her fist out, clocking him right in the face.

"Ah!" He stumbled back and Bea was proud of herself.

Only for Ahri to leap over Razor and skilfully wrap the capture tape around her wrist. With a yank, Bea's hand was behind her head, Ahri's other hand grabbing her other one.

"Andrius! Get Kirigaya!" Despite his throbbing nose, Razor calmly grabbed his capture tape and wrapped it around one of Leafa's frozen wrists. Bea couldn't believe it.

In the last thirty seconds, their hiding strategy had been done undone and were now immobilised. From what All Might was shouting, Bea knew that they'd lost.

"Heroes win!"

Razor Andrius

Quirk- Wolf by Nature

Razor's quirk gives him the heightened senses that a wolf would have. His sense of smell rivals that of Hound Dog, his agility and stamina are through the roof and can even see in the dark.

Back in the security room, Miles' eyes were wide.

"How'd they do that?"

"Vastayan can inflict status conditions to people through her wisps. At least, That's what she told me." Was Sonic's response from where he sat. Miles' mouth made an o' shape.

"Kinda like in an RPG? That's kinda overpowered if you think about it."

"If you want overpowered, wait until you see mine partner." Miles glanced to Kazuto, who was sitting behind him. "I'm known to be a little ridiculous when it comes to it."

"Really? Now that I think about it, I don't think I know what it is yet."

"You're just going to have to wait and see then, aren't you?"

Shortly after that, the two teams entered the control room, Bea's eyes shrouded by her hair. All Might addressed the four students.

"Well done to you all. It was very close, but Vastayan and Andrius pulled through in the last thirty-seconds to claim the victory." He turned to the others sitting behind him. "Now can anyone tell me who the MVP of the first match was?"

Sonic half-listened to the response, his eyes on Bea, who stood there quietly. He leaned in towards Amy's ear.

"What do you think's eating at her?" He whispered to her.

"Probably at the fact that they lost with so little time left. I know I'd be annoyed if I'd lost like that." Sonic smirked before elbowing her.

"Better not lose then Ms Villain!"

"Oh I don't intend to." The two of them watched as Leafa picked up on her partner's downcast face and pulled her into a one-armed hug. From the blush on Bea's face, it was evident to Amy what was going on in her head. "Do you think it's time to dig out the old "Matchmaker Amy" again?"

"Oh god no! You do remember that the last time you did that, you made a kid go berserk and had that mini rampage back in middle school?"

"We."

"No. You. I had absolutely no input in that incident."

"Yes you did. I have proof."

"…I thought you didn't match the same sex." Sonic was quick to change the subject.

"I think I can make an exception this one time. Just look at them! The bubbly ray of sunshine brings out the best in the silent stoic type. You saw what she did at the pond."

"Kinda wish I hadn't…" The unamused stare Amy gave him made him gulp. "What?"

"You're a guy. Wouldn't any guy be into that?"

"Why are you even bringing male fantasies into this!?" Amy didn't get the chance to rebuke, as there was a loud cough that drew their attention back to the number one hero.

"If you two are done whispering to yourselves, I said it's the next team's turn. That includes you Ms Rose." Amy flushed in embarrassment now that she realised everyone was staring at her. Sonic was indifferent.

"O-oh! Sorry, it won't happen again."

"One would hope so. Teams C and D! Time to show everyone what you're made of! Go forth to the battle arena. Heroes, please head to your starting point and await further instructions. Villains, find a place to start." As Amy was leaving with Rox, she shot him one more look, as if to say, 'This conversation isn't over.' Sonic returned it with an eye roll.

"Kick their butts!" Hana called out after them.

Match Two!

Rox and Amy found a place just over an embankment that seemed like a good place to start and discuss their game plan. The pink hedgehog turned to face the other girl as soon as they were out of sight.

"So first of all, hi. I'm Amy Rose." A pink hammer popped into existence in her hand. "And my quirk allows me to summon and use this thing in any way I want. What about you?" The girl with the strawberry earing cracked a contagious smile.

"Nice to meet you Rose! I'm Roxanne Green but you can call me Rox. Drift does anyway."

"Drift?"

"Ah right. I'm talking about Daniel Hugo. That's what he wants his hero name to be." She waved her hand dismissively. "We've been friends since pre-school back in America."

"As much as I'd love to gossip, we're kinda on a time limit here. How does your quirk work?" With a grin, Rox held up her right arm and four brightly coloured floppy disk-like cores sprung from her skin through the hole in her jacket.

"My quirk is Power Drive."

Roxanne "Rox" Green

Quirk- Power Drive

Rox has four energy cores that appear on her right arm at will. Upon pressing one of the cores back into her arm, she is given the power to control whichever element the corresponding drive holds. Her outfit also adjusts it's colouring to match the element. The drive colours are pink (Fire), yellow (Electric), blue (Water/Ice) and purple (Darkness).

"Whoa. That's so cool! You essentially have four quirks!"

"Pretty much. Badass, I know."

"Heroes! The villains have escaped to the park! Find and capture them! Villains! Don't get caught! Let the exercise begin!" Both "villains" glanced up towards the sky.

"Guess that's our que." With that, she began walking up the embankment. Rox was quick to grab her arm.

"Hey hang on! We don't even have a plan." Amy gave him a big grin.

"I like to work on the fly. A habit I picked up from Sonic that I can't nip in the butt, no matter how hard I try." Rox hesitated for a second before grinning and following the pink hedgehog out into the open.

"Do you have the vaguest idea of what we're going to do?" She questioned the Humanoid.

"Well… How good would you say you are at combat?"

"You're seriously not thinking about fighting them head on are you?"

"Why not? We don't need to win, just subdue them." Rox shook her head.

"…I suppose."

Just keep your guard up and try not to get yourself caught. That'd be what Sonic would say."

'Just how much has he influenced you?' Rox thought to herself. Still, she followed her, nonetheless. Amy on the other hand, was grinning from ear to ear, hammer slung over her shoulder. The two arrived at a large undercover playground that the Australian author writing this story would call an "Adventure Playground" and Amy put a hand up to stop her.

"We can set up here. I'm not sure about you, but I'm confident in my abilities that I can make use of these." She pointed across the various structures that surrounded them. "If we play our cards right, we could possibly out manoeuvre them." Her eyes widened when she realised something. "Or…"

"You have a plan now?" Amy offered Rox a cute smirk. "Something tells me you do. Lay it on me."

After a quick explanation, Amy used her hammer to launch herself up onto the roof of the Adventure Playground. Looking out across the park, she could just make out two figures in the distance. One red and blue while the other was black. She giggled to herself maniacally before raising her fingers to her lips. With a quick breath, she made a shrill whistle in their direction. She saw the figures turn and she waved her hammer in the air above her head to further make herself known.

"We're over here! Come and get us you good for nothing heroes!" Once she was certain they were coming, she jumped back down and disappeared into the depths of it. Not even fifteen seconds later, Kazuto and Miles made their appearance inside the playground. Miles was looking around cautiously.

"This isn't good. They could be anywhere in here." Kazuto on the other hand, was calm. This worried Rox, for the last time someone looked calm, Leafa and Bea had lost their match. Rox hoped wherever Amy was, she could see them too. Kazuto chuckled to himself.

"Now I see why Rose made herself known. They wanted to lure us in here."

"Gee. You think? You didn't think she just wanted to say hello did you?"

"I can do that if you want! Hello." Amy's voice rang out throughout the playground, startling Miles at her sudden shout. "Welcome to your doom, do-gooders!" Rox chuckled to herself as she slowly slinked her way to her target. The main support beam that was essentially holding this place up. Amy's plan had been a simple one. She'd distract the heroes while she made the whole place collapse. She was a little unsure about it at first, but Amy had convinced her that they'd be fine. Rox reached the beam and waited for her que.

"Our doom? I find that hard to believe. If anyone is falling here today, it's you and your partner." She had to admit that Kazuto was rather good at acting. Miles was also getting into it.

"That's right. Turn yourselves in and you will walk away unscathed." He raised his arms up, revealing two funny looking contraptions on his wrists.

"Ha. You expect me to turn myself in? You must be dumber than I thought." Amy made herself known by stepping onto the railing of the bridge above the two, her shadow being cast over them thanks to the open skylight above her. "For now, as my closing act, I will bring down the house upon you! Farewell goody, goody-two-shoes!" That was Rox's cue.

"Showtime!" She said softly, as to not alert the heroes to what he was doing. Pressing down the purple drive back into her arm, Rox's the pink parts of her costume changed into a purple colour while the neon lights on her legs turned a dull purple. Dark energy pulsed around her closed fist. "Ugh. This one has to be my least favourite." She mumbled to herself as she placed her hand against the support beam.

The beam began to crack with the dark energy spreading across the beam at amazing speeds, destroy itself from where his hand was placed. In less than a second, the entire beam broke down into nothing and the entire building groaned with the newfound weight. Rox needed to book it before it collapsed on her, shooting off towards the exit. She barely made it as it came crashing down to the ground, with a little help from Amy, who had slammed the roof with her hammer as she jumped out through the skylight. Rox scrambled to her feet as Amy landed gracefully beside her.

"Get your tape ready. Just in case." She grabbed her own from her pocket. "I have a feeling that they're not done yet." Rox nodded.

Amy had every right to be cautious, as not three seconds later, a black sword punctured the roof that was now on the ground. It tore a hole in it before it was pushed away by Miles with a strained grunt.

"That was playing dirty! You're lucky I have a danger sense or that would have crushed us!" He exclaimed as Kazuto climbed out of the wreckage behind him.

"But you weren't, so there's no reason for any hard feelings right?"

Before Amy had a chance to jump into the conversation, Kazuto was in her face bringing his sword towards her face. She swiftly spawned her hammer into her hands just as the sword neared her face. It connected with the handle of the hammer with a clunk.

"Don't forget, we're still fighting." He said calmly. Amy growled before pushing back on him and jumping away. "Morales! Secure Green before we run out of time!"

"Right!" Kazuto shifted his feet as he stared dead into Amy's eyes. She couldn't help but gasp when his sword lit up with a light blue glow. She brought her hammer up again as he slashed at her in a horizonal arc. Amy was so glad her hammer was unbreakable, as Kazuto's slash hit like a tank. She slid back a few meters before righting herself.

"That's your quirk right? That's really cool!"

"It's part of it. But that's not all I can do!"

Kazuto Kirigaya!

Quirk- Beater!

Kazuto's quirk makes him seem like an overpowered JRPG character in real life. Ever since his quirk manifested, Kazuto has been gaining "Skill Points" from doing everyday things. Assigning them to his different traits, Kazuto has reached level 80 and is armed with an arsenal of "Sword Skills" to use whenever he has his sword in his hands. Said sword, named Elucidator, appeared when he was six when he unlocked his first Sword Skill. The downside to his Quirk, is the massive drain in stamina whenever he uses it. Overall, Kazuto is not someone to make mad…

With a yell, Kazuto was coming at Amy again, sword glowing blue. Amy blocked the first hit and barely blocked the second. The third strike however, nicked her arm, shaving a tiny amount of her skin off. While it didn't hurt per say, it was ever so irritating. What surprised her though, was the fact that it wasn't bleeding. It merely turned red with lots of little squares holding it together. Amy barely had time to register this before Kazuto was on top of her again, sword raised up high. She snarled slightly.

"You really need to…" She caught Kazuto off guard, moving at lightning speeds and bringing her hammer towards his exposed chin. "…Take a nap!" With all of her strength, Amy swung her hammer into an uppercut fashion and slammed him in the chin, completely throwing him out of her personal space. Kazuto cartwheeled in the air a few times before crashing into Miles. The two crashed to the ground with an unceremonious thud. Rox blinked, slightly baffled at the flying body that had appeared from nowhere. Kazuto let out a groan as he sat up.

"Owwww. I think I bit my tongue." Miles grunted something that sounded like a "get off me" to Kazuto. Amy propped her hammer onto her shoulder again and walked up beside Rox.

"Think we should take this chance to win?"

"Of course." Rox peeled a little bit of webbing off her arm. "Glad you stopped Morales when you did. He was trying to use webs to subdue me."

When both boys were secured with the capture tape, the loud booming voice of All Might filled their ears.

"Times up! The villains have successfully captured the heroes! Which means that the villains win!" Kazuto let out a small sigh as Amy and Rox high-fived.

"Well played you two. That was impressive." He took Amy's hand as she helped him up. "Wasn't expecting you to literally bring the house down on us though.

"What can I say? I like theatrics."

Miles Morales

Quirk- Two-in-One

Miles' quirk is a unique one, having two sides to it. On one hand, he can create, expel and absorb bioelectricity from and into his body, while also having the ability to camouflage himself to turn him invisible. AND on top of that, he has Spidey powers too thanks to a certain spider bite back in America…

When the four students returned to the security room, the first thing Sonic noticed was the tiny red patch on Amy's arm. Being the good friend that he is, he was quick to bring it up.

"What happened to your arm?" Amy glanced at it before her eyes widened.

"Oh right!" She turned to Kazuto. "What's the deal with this cut you gave me?"

"That's what happens when I cut anything flesh related with Elucidator." He tapped the black sword on his back. "It has to do with my quirk. I can't go around swinging a sword at the bad guys without cutting an arm off or something. So it has a failsafe of sorts, a cut like that will re-heal itself in five minutes." As if to prove a point, the cut suddenly patched back, leaving Amy's arm completely healed.

"Whoa."

"With the failsafe on, any cut I make will heal itself back to near perfect condition. The healing factor depends on the size of the cut too. The only time it won't re-heal, is if I cut someone's head off. Then they're dead for good." Everyone shuddered at the discovery. Sonic pointed to Amy's arm.

"So… had you cut off her arm…"

"She would've regrown another. The old one would have shattered into polygons." That seemed a tad bit morbid and All Might quickly coughed loudly to gather everyone's attention again.

"Let's not dwell on that shall we? Now, who can tell me who the MVP of the second match was?"

Before anyone could answer though, there was a knock at the door. Leafa, who was closest to the door, opened it, revealing large man… dog… person. All Might was surprised.

"Hound Dog. What brings you here?" The Pro Hero Hound Dog let himself into the room and glanced to the hulking man. The sparkles in Razor's eyes did not go unnoticed by those near him.

"I found this kid roaming the halls of the school. Said she was looking for Class 1-S, so I brought her to you." He gestured to the door as who Sonic assumed was a student walked into the room. But that wasn't what surprised him or Amy.

She was a Humanoid.

"Apologies All Might. I got here late, and I couldn't find my homeroom. I had to ask for assistance."

She was a lavender cat with amber eyes. The hair (Fur?) on her head was pulled up into a few short tufts, held into place with a red hair tie and a similar red gem on her forehead. She wore a purple dress and white pants, her lavender and purple tipped tail poking out from the seat of it. On her feet, she wore pink high heeled shoes with a white stripe over the middle of her foot. On her back, held by a sling across her body, was a sceptre of some sorts. The staff of it was black while the top of it was curved into a C shape, a dull purple, green, yellow and purple bumps jutting out around the back of it. A blue crystal was sectioned inside the C. Something about her screamed royalty, but Sonic brushed that off for later. All Might laughed loudly.

"Better late than never I say. Why don't you introduce yourself to your fellow classmates?" The cat girl nodded and turned to the others.

"My name is Blaze Catherine. As you can see, I am a Humanoid, but I won't let that stop me. That is all." All Might blinked at her short intro before laughing again.

"Short but sweet. I like it!"

"Alright. I'm heading out." Hound Dog waved his goodbye and was out the door before anyone could say anything else.

"Alright. Young Catherine. You came at the right time because it is time for the final team to duke it out! Saitou, you're off the hook. You don't need to go again." From her spot next to Leafa, Bea gave him a simple nod. "Heroes! Please head to your starting point. Villains! Find a place to start. Hugo, if you could fill Catherine in on what you need to do, that would be great!"

"Sure."

"Excellent! Let's make this match the one to remember. Plus Ultra everyone!" Hana clapped Sonic on the back as the two exited the building.

"Let's show these guys what we're made of, yeah?" Sonic's confident smirk returned to his face.

"Oh yeah. No chance of that not happening."

Final Match!

Sonic watched in awe as Hana's mech dropped down from seemingly nowhere again and landed in front of her. With a small leap, she'd dived into the cockpit and fiddled around with some of the controls.

"So… Does this thing just fall from the sky whenever you summon it?" He questioned innocently. He heard Hana snort from within it.

"Not technically. It sorta… materialises itself? I'm not entirely sure where it comes from. Maybe a pocket dimension or something? I dunno. Gave my parents a heck of a scare when I first summoned it when I was four."

"Really? What happened?" Hana thought for a moment before chuckling.

"From what they told me, I was apparently throwing a tantrum about not getting something I wanted and this tiny pink mech just… popped into existence. And being the snobbish four-year-old I was, I tried using it to get what I wanted. That didn't get me very far once my dad found the kill switch on it." She used Meka's arm to point to a panel just above its right shoulder blade. Sure enough, hidden under a plate of armour, was small switch. "Now that I'm older and wiser, I covered it up so no-one can shut me down."

"How'd the mech get bigger? Does it grow with you?"

"Yep. That and a fair bit of amateur upgrading." Sonic was going to ask another question, but Hana beat him to it. "Without holding back, how fast do you think you could go?"

"I'm glad you asked Song! If I'm really pushing-"

"Hana."

"Pardon?" From withing her mech, Hana gave him a toothy grin.

"Well if you're going to go around telling people to call you by your first name, then you can call me by my first too. Seems fair." Sonic couldn't help grin. This girl was an interesting one.

"Ok. Sure Hana."

"Now how hard was that?" Sonic chuckled before clearing his throat and answering her question.

With Blaze…

"…or we can survive the ten-minute time limit to win also."

To be honest, Blaze was only half listening to the boy with the mask. She'd already worked out what they were doing thanks to her knowledge on UA. Before she'd taken the entrance exam, Blaze had read up on as much information about the prestige school as she could. She had a vague idea of how the different physical practices worked and she didn't need someone below her telling what she already knew.

"Yes, thank you for your explanation, but I already know what we're doing."

"Oh… Good, I suppose. Then we should work out some sort of plan then-"

"You can stay out of my way. I'll handle this myself."

"Eh? But you can't-"

"Heroes! The villains have escaped to the park! Find and capture them! Villains! Don't get caught! Let the exercise begin!"

Without waiting for his response, the heels of her shoes ignited with fire and she shot off through the park.

'I will show Mother and Father that this is where I belong!' She thought to herself. Directing her feet back up, Blaze flew up a few meters before hovering in mid-air. Having a quick look around, she spotted the huge pink machine and the Humanoid hedgehog in the distance. 'I will settle this quickly.'

Back to Sonic…

Hana had the sensors of her mech on high alert as it walked through the park. Sonic was riding on top of it, keeping his eyes peeled too.

"Anything?"

"Nope. Just trees, trees and more trees." He responded cheekily.

"Don't you sass me! Do you really think that's going to help us?" Sonic shrugged, not that Hana could see it.

"No. Just trying to lighten the mood." He squinted a little. "Speaking of which, is it just me or is the sun brighter than usual?" Also, was the sun normally that close to the ground? Or growing in size?

"It shouldn't be…" He heard Hana gasp a little. "Hang on!" Even with the warning, Sonic yelped as Meka jolted to the side, narrowly dodging the "sun" from crashing into them. Unfortunately, upon hitting the ground, it exploded with fire, spreading out and catching the two classmates in a fiery blast. Sonic was thrown off Meka and onto the ground, tumbling onto the hot grass. With a second yelp, he was on his feet again. All around him, was nothing but fire. He coughed as he looked around for Hana. He had no doubt that she'd be safe thanks to her mech, but him on the other hand…

"What the hell is this power? I know people like Endeavor can make fire, but this… this is-"

"Solaris." Sonic's head whipped to his left at the sound of her voice. Standing not too far away from him, was the new girl, Blaze, her sceptre glowing slightly in her hand. Her amber eyes staring deep into his emerald ones. "This power is my quirk, Solaris. It's not a regular quirk that is to be taken lightly."

Blaze Catherine!

Quirk- Solaris!

Blaze's quirk allows her to create and manipulate fire. She can use it in any way she wants, whenever she wants. Only, if she uses to much at one time, she will burn out and need to rest before she can use it again. To lessen the risk of a burn out, Blaze uses a family support item known as the Jeweled Scepter to extend her limit.

"Wait… I know that!" Sonic dropped a fist into his open palm. "That's your family's special quirk, the one that grows more and more powerful with each holder! I knew your name sounded familiar!"

"That's right. I will show you no mercy, even if this is a training exercise." Sonic glanced around. He didn't know where Hana was, but he knew she'd be ok. With a grin, Sonic crouched down into a "cool" position as he glanced back to her.

"I wouldn't have it any other way. Let's see what you've got Princess!"

Blasting off from his crouched position at an alarming pace, Sonic drew back his fist and threw it at the lavender cat. Blaze, not expecting him to be in her face so quicky, had to take the supersonic powered fist to her stomach. She was thrown back several meters into the dirt. When she came to a stop, she gasped for air, spitting out a little blood from her mouth.

"How dare you!"

"What?"

"How dare you lay your hands on me!" Sonic scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

"Sorry? You do realise that villains aren't just going to let you beat them up without attacking-" Sonic let out a yelp when a column of fire burst from Blaze's hand. He sided stepped to the side with easy. "I wasn't finished yet!"

"Talking to much is going to get you killed." Sonic's eyes widened when Blaze foot appeared next to his head. Her flaming roundhouse kick connected with her intended target. Hard. Even with the pain, Sonic found himself flying up towards the sky. He grumbled to himself when he saw the fire below him.

"Well this is going to hurt."

"I got you!" Hana and her Meka emerged from the smoke, catching him before he could end up with some serious burns. Landing not too far away, Hana turned to face the cat. "Hasta la Vista kitty!" With a press of a button, several rockets shot off from her Meka towards Blaze. The cat didn't even flinch as she raised her staff up and pointed it to the incoming rockets.

"Pathetic." A massive stream of fire launched from it and engulfed the rockets, causing them to melt without exploding from the sheer heat. Hana's eyes went wide.

"No way…"

"If you think that's going to stop me, you don't deserve to be here. Underestimating your opponent will result in serious injury or death." Hana gnashed her teeth together.

"Excuse you? Who gave you the right to judge us? Do you think you're better than the rest of us or something?"

"Naturally."

"Oh ho. You're in for it now!" Hana readied her mech for another volley of rockets when Sonic stepped between them. "Hey! What're-"

"Go find Hugo. I've got this."

"You've "got" me? Don't make me laugh."

"I wasn't trying to." He glanced back to Hana. "Trust me."

"But…" She let out an annoyed groan. "Fine. Don't let her beat you though." Switching to her thrusters, Hana rocketed into the smoke to find and capture Daniel. Sonic turned back to Blaze, who was glaring at him.

"So. You may or may not have kicked my head to the point that I can permanently see stars, probably a concussion of some sort, but it's nothing Recovery Girl can't fix. I'm not going to let it stop me." He patted his chest with confidence. "So come at me. Show me what you can do Princess."

"Stop…"

"Pardon? You're going to have to speak up."

"Stop calling me Princess!" Blaze ran towards him, shoes ignited with fire and staff by her side. Sonic brought his fists up to his face.

"Make me."

Daniel was still standing at the villain starting point, mesmerised by the huge fire that had sprung up in the middle of the park. He raised two fingers up to his earpiece.

"Hey uh… All Might? Is that safe?" The sound of the Symbol of Peace's boisterous laugh filled his ear.

"I don't see why not. Although I do see your concern. If things go too far in there, I will step in." Daniel nodded before he heard the whistling of a rocket heading his way. Jumping forward, he barely got away from the explosion. He glared in Hana's direction as she landed near him.

"Do you mind? That was very rude." Hana laughed a little.

"Glad to see someone has a sense of humour. Your partner seems to be lacking in that department."

"So I noticed." Getting into a fighting position, Daniel let his quirk run across his body, the purple parts of his costume lighting up. "Now. I, the villainous villain known as Drift, will vanquish the light of this hero! Prepare yourself!"

"Ooh! You've already got a hero name? Well guess what?" Hana prepared to attack as well. "So do I! The Shooting Star, is here to stop you!" Pushing the joysticks in her hand forward, Hana blasted toward the mask wearing teen, a huge grin on her face.

Drift used his quirk to launch himself into the air before Hana could bash into him. Building some energy into his hands, he threw a bolt of purple lightning at the bright pink mech, intending to short circuit it. This, however, proved to be fruitless as it bounced harmlessly off it. Hana snickered at him.

"What? You think I didn't take the precautions to protect myself? That's sad. This thing is everything proof!" She yelled as she fired off the gatling gun on the right arm at him. Drift gulped to himself.

"That's not good." He mumbled as he zapped the bullets flying his way. He could already feel his stomach growling for food, which was not a good sign.

Over in the control room, everyone was in awe. Razor was especially intrigued by Sonic's battle.

"They're all so impressive." He murmured to no one in particular.

"Gotta agree with you there Andrius." Razor flinched slightly when Miles started to talk to him, his mask resting in his lap. "That new girl's quirk is insane!" Razor eyed Miles for a moment before looking back to the screen.

"Yes." They watched Sonic and Blaze duke it out before Razor spoke up again. "Blue and red doesn't suit you."

"You think?" Miles looked down at his costume with doubt. "Huh. I think you may be right."

"Black."

"Excuse you?"

"Black and red would be better." All Might, meanwhile, was watching carefully at the two battles raging on.

'Catherine's quirk is unlike anything I've ever seen. Not even Endeavor has that kind of power.' He glanced to Hana and Drift's battle, which had just ended with Hana pinning the boy down before calmly stepping out of Meka and placing her capture tape on him. He heard Drift let out a disappointed groan which made him chuckle. 'Going up against Song probably was the worst possible match up for Hugo.'

"Aw come on Drift! You could have beaten her!" All Might glanced to Rox to see her with a cute pout on her face.

"Unfortunately, Young Hugo wasn't the right person to face Song. Perhaps, when you've all grown a bit, he may be able to best her. But not today." Rox sighed, slightly annoyed.

"Sure. But he-"

"What are they doing?!" Ahri's cry of surprise caused All Might to snap back to the screen just in time to see it flash in static.

"What?"

Then, a shockwave rocked the room.

Moments before, back with Sonic and Blaze, the two stood a fair distance away from each other, panting. Sonic stood up straight and cracked his back.

"Well this is getting us nowhere. Ready to call it quits?" He called to Blaze, trying not to let the smoke in his lungs get the better of him. From where he stood, he could see Blaze propping herself up with the Jeweled Scepter.

"I will not give up!" She roared.

"Good. Neither am I." He crouched down, preparing to run. Blaze, however, had other ideas.

"You cannot possibly beat me!" With a loud roar that would put Hound Dog to shame, a large column of fire enveloped her. She glared at him with pure rage. "I. Won't. Let. You!" With a pounce, Blaze was running towards him at full speed.

"INFERNO OVERDRIVE!"

Sonic eyes widened in shock at all the fire surrounding herself. She already had a super move? Well. He could match that. Sonic gritted his teeth before blasting to meet her half-way. All the while, channelling as much energy into his legs as possible. With his own shout, Sonic broke the speed of sound before colliding with Blaze head on. The shockwave of fire and wind rocked the entire campus of UA, the sound of Vela-Nova playing in the background for some reason. Blaze's eyes widened in surprise.

"No! How could you counter my Inferno Overdrive?" She shouted over the noise. Sonic grinned with determination, feet still pounding against the ground, the voice of All Might deafened by the noise.

"Here's the thing Princess. We're all human here. We all have quirks which we learn about, adapt to and best of all…" Blaze felt herself slipping as Sonic pushed harder against her head. "We press ourselves to be the best we can be! It just seems that I'm currently stronger than you. Use that as motivation to PUSH YOURSELF TO GREATER STRENGTHS!"

With that final statement, Sonic brought his fist up and slammed it into Blaze's chin. Transferring all the energy into it, he shot Blaze into the air. She went flying through whatever smoke was lingering in the air before smashing into one of the taller buildings, caving where she hit it in. Sonic stood there with his fist still in the air, panting.

"And don't you forget it." He said to himself before teetering over and fell to the ground, passing out.

A bright light in his face woke him up. With a grumble, he attempted to roll over to escape it. This turned out to be fruitless as it followed him.

"Go away…" He mumbled.

"I can't until you do kiddo. I can't let you sleep here." Cracking an eye open, Sonic came face to face with the elderly hero Recovery Girl holding a medical torch in her hand. She had a small smile on her face. "Time to get up."

With a loud yawn, Sonic sat up in the bed. Sure enough, he was sitting in the nurse's office. He blinked a few times.

"Huh. How'd I end up here?"

"You pushed yourself a little too much." Recovery Girl shuffled over to her desk to retrieve a slip of paper and a jar off her desk. "You gave the school quite a scare again."

"Again?"

"Your ball throw yesterday? Laura said you broke the sound barrier."

"Oh yeah. I did, didn't I?" Recovery Girl handed him the paper.

"Try not to push yourself too much again. You're lucky Catherine is sturdier than she looks. You could've seriously injured her with that supersonic punch." She opened the jar and presented it to him. "Gummy bear? It'll help bring your stamina back up." Sonic graciously accepted the free sweet treats before registering what she said.

"Oh shit, Princess! Is she alright?"

"She's fine. She woke up not too long ago, so you just missed her." Sonic sighed as he put his shoes back on.

"Never mind. I'll just talk to her tomorrow." He stepped out of the Nurse's Office and gave Recovery Girl a quick salute. "Thanks for patching me up RG! I owe you my life!" She chuckled lightly at that.

"Oh shush you. It's my job, you don't owe me anything." With the door closed, Sonic made his way down the hall, the orange glow of the evening sun shining through the window. When he exited out the front doors of the school, he was surprised to see two girls sitting on the grass near the gateway. His pink furred friend perked up when she saw him.

"Sonic! You're okay!" The purple haired earphone jack girl looked over her shoulder to see him walking up to them.

"Again with the extremely loud noises man. You're going to make me go deaf."

"Sorry. How long have you guys been waiting for me?"

"Since yesterday." Kyouka elbowed Amy in her side, causing the hedgehog to grunt. "I kid, I kid. About an hour."

"You didn't have to. I could've gotten home on my own."

"But we did. I wanted to see how you were doing after that whole ordeal while you two are irrespirable. She can't go anywhere without you holding her hand apparently."

"Hey!" Sonic placed a hand on either one of their shoulders.

"Thanks. You guys are the best." He stepped between them and headed for the gate. "We going to wait for the next bus, or do we have to walk to the station?"

"Bus." They both said quickly. Sonic laughed loudly.

"Bus it is then." He opened his hand to the girls. "Wanna gummy while we wait?"

Holy frick. 40 pages. 40 flippin' pages on Word. I hope this was worth the wait.

And our mystery student is Blaze! I think while I was creating the original class, I'd played Sonic Rush, which was why I decided to incorporate her into the story.

I'll give you a little more info on her quirk Solaris (Because I just know this is going to raise questions.). Solaris was born alongside one of one of the ancestors of the Catherine family. It was discovered later on, when the first born of the current holder developed the quirk too, that Solaris' power was increased. As the quirk was essentially "passed down" from generation to generation, the fire within it grows brighter. When the Catherine family discovered this, they make it public knowledge to help boost their already growing riches even further. Also, while Solaris sounds very similar to a certain green bean's quirk, it cannot be passed down by similar methods. Only the first child of the previous holder can develop it. And no. It has nothing to do with Mephilis or Iblis so don't expect either of them to appear in this story.

So yeah. That's all from me for now. Hopefully the wait for the next chapter won't be too long. See you guys then!
