Heldor Granger was just a potioneer living somewhere in the countryside. He was the grandson of Hector Dagworth-Granger and maintained the fame of his name within the wizarding community; nonetheless, his home was a comfortable cabin in a muggle village, and he enjoyed the smell of cinnamon, sage and wildflowers. Despite being a successful person in his role, Heldor did not leave the house much and cultivated a very simple life.

He met Clio Potter on a holiday, she liked to shop in that region, and it was unusual to find a witch in the Muggle flower market.

It was like a children's story about love; her hair smelled like chocolate and she looked like a nymph, in fact. Heldor liked to see the sun through the strands of her fair hair.

When they got married, it didn't take long for Clio to get pregnant. However, it was a risky pregnancy and Heldor always brewed several healing potions for her. His hope was to have his child and his wife safe after the birth, even though no potion, no matter how elaborate it was and no matter what rarest ingredient was on it, could bring color to his wife's cheeks again.

On May 2, 1948, Clio Potter-Granger finally held her newborn daughter in her arms for the first time; a few hours later she died.

On May 2, 1998, a girl died also, after receiving a death curse spell.

For many hours, she was tortured and saw everyone she loved being killed before her eyes.

Upon waking up, that girl felt strong pains throughout her body, pains so deep that she thought she was still being tortured; her mind was confused, and the shock of being traumatically ripped from her own body did not allow her to perceive the different environment around her. In the face of death, suffering and anguish, in the face of trauma and illness, she hid all her memories in some hidden place inside her broken mind.

For a long time, Hermione Granger didn't even realize that she was Hermione Granger again.
