'I love you Blue, come back to me quickly okay.' Sophie kissed him deeply and he sighed, sticking his tongue into her mouth and exploring the moisture cavern.Sportacus woke with a start, He hadn't meant to fall asleep. It was morning and Robbie and he had been sat in the lounge in silence since 10pm last night. His heart was pulling painfully at him. He felt hollow. He appreciated Robbies silent support. Nothing needed to be said. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Sportacus flew to open it just to be disappointed that it was the postman. He was handed a bunch of letters and he almost threw them across the room when he noticed there was a letter addressed to him in his girls handwriting. With trembling fingers he opened the envelope and out fell a card and a plastic stick. Opening the card he read what it said and fell to his knees, both objects dropping to the floor. Robbie watched him carefully, whatever he had just read has now broken the elf completely, cautiously reaching for the letter he picked it up.
To my Dearest BlueSuprise!Daddy to be,I'm so very little, inside mummy's tummy, but I know you will be the best daddyI'm safe and warm, all tucked up in here, you talk around me lots so I know you are near.I can't wait to meet you Daddy.I love you with all my heart Blue, Always xoxoRobbie eyes became saucers and his hand snatched out for the plastic stick on the ground 'Pregnant' There it was, in black and white. His little sister was pregnant with the elfs baby. If things were different he was sure he would be swinging Sparkle I'm his arms congratulating them, but as it was he was watching the resident super hero, the man he spent 4 years trying to get rid of and the last year becoming, dare he say, friends with, Shatter and collapse into a heap. Robbie snapped into gear, catching the elfs head before he hit the ground. He had fainted. He couldn't blame him, He felt sick himself and only his incredible self control stopped him from puking all over the carpet and himself. Sparkle was missing, Possibly hurt and with a baby in her stomach.
Sophie was able to hold onto consciousness longer this time, she studied her surroundings, moving as much as she could with whatever drug it was still I'm her system. She was cold and drenched, there was stone and a dripping sound. she couldnt see anything except a small sliver of moonlight above her. She must be outside somewhere but there was a little shelter. She tried to speak, call out for help, but her mouth wouldn't work and the effort was too much before she faded into darkness again.
It had been two days since the letter arrived, three days since Sophie had gone missing and sportacus was a mess. He hadn't showered he hadn't slept, He had even had to call in help from the Hero Guilde and his father, number 9. Lazy Towns previous hero. That was an arrival he wouldn't forget anytime soon. The Mayor stood solelmly in the doorway with his dad watching Sportacus stare at a wall. His dad took strides towards him, picked him up, placed him on his lap and wrapped his arms round him. HIM! A 30 year old man, curled up on his father's lap and cried his heart out. He cried until he fell asleep like a child. His dad not moving a muscle and holding the son he hadn't seen in 5 years. Meanwhile he had messaged the guilde to say he would be acting hero for the foreseeable while his son had some personal time off. They didn't mind, they all wanted to help, some even came to assist the police in finding their comrades girlfriend. Everybody left, Robbie couldnt bare to watch his friend fall apart and decided to go and help Pixel figure out what the drug had been. The police had informed him that they had to let Rebecca go as there was no evidence she was involved, What he wasnt expecting was for her to stop him halfway out the door and say.
'We need to talk.'
Sportacus couldnt remember the last time he saw his dad like this, certainly not in recent years. He startled awake when the front door slammed open and in walked Robbie and Rebecca, He growled and went to shove her out of his house when he felt his dad's hand on his arm, his eyes telling him to wait. He turned back to her, she was pale and tembling slightly but she took a deep breath
' I know who took Sophie.'
Robbie,Sportacus and his father had bolted into the airship and set off for a lake not far from Lazy Town. Robbie couldn't get what Rebecca had said out of his head.
'I know who took Sophie. and I think I know where he has taken her.Do you remember Rick? (they both nodded while his father watched on) Rick Taylor? (Robbie gasped, he knew he now remember where he had heard the name!) have you worked it out? he's my brother.I guess, it started earlier this year, his girlfriend of 8 years broke up with him and he decided to move back here to Lazy Town, you see, we used to live here as children, I think Sophie and I actually played together sometimes before we moved away when our father got a new job.I finished my college course in early June and decided to come here to help my brother with the shop. I was shocked at what he had become. He was deranged and acted weirdly, every time he saw you flipping and jumping he would grumble. When it was the day of the concert, he convinced me to pose as his date so he could try and make Sophie jealous. I was alright with that, I had a crush on you since I first saw you when I arrived. But I had watched in the shadows and knew you were falling in love with the Mayor's oldest Niece. I couldnt let that happen so we staged an argument and I had you take me home. Rick had deliberately made you break your bracelet that had your crystal in, I saw you put it in your pocket and a couple of roads from the concert hall I slipped my hand into your pocket and threw the crystal away. I knew Rick had something planned, but I knew Sophie didn't feel comfortable with him and I wanted you to myself. I'm glad that teenager found it and found us though. If I knew what Rick was planning on doing I never would have agreed. When you saved her he was furious at you and at me.a few months later he turned up on my doorstep drunk. We argued and he slapped me, telling me it was my fault and I needed to find a way to get rid of her so I could be with Sportacus. I overheard you talking to Stephanie about how Sophie was petrified of the lake. I wrote a fake letter from her sister and had her come to the lake. I dressed in pink clothes and pushed her in, I was only going to let her be in there a minute or two but when she didn't come back up I panicked and saw you two running towards us. I ran, amd hoped I hadn't just killed somebody. Rick left again and I felt bad about what I had put Sophie through. I wanted to be friends, so I offered to help her learn to swim and asked if we could get to know each other. She agreed and the last month has been the best in my life. She genuinely wanted to be friends and I felt myself forgetting everything else and just enjoying the time we had.But then last week he turned up again and demanded that I help him once and for all. I watched him destroy the camera the other side of the woods. He said if I told anybody he would tell my parents I've now dropped out of college and don't want to go back. They would disown me if that were the case. He told me I needed to get Sportacus put of the airspace and away from Lazy Town and if I were to accept a call from anybody saying she was missing I wasn't allowed to tell him. I was on edge all day and when you called Robbie my heart had dropped, I knew he had done something. I kept my word and distracted him but now that she's still missing I need to tell you where she is. I meed you to know that I love her, she's my best friend and though she probably won't be after this I never wanted to hurt her. My parents are my world and I couldnt bare the thought of losing them.'' This is all well and good but you need to tell us where she is right this instant!'' I think he has her at the lake house our family owns near Merry Town. We had a Small boarded up bunker next to the main house and he used to live being in there as a kid.'That's where they were going now, He just hoped they weren't too late.
