Might I try to break your walls,

I'll see how it is, I'll see how it falls,

Don't you worry, for I'll do my best,

With all our tiredness, we'll have some rest.

Hinata opened her eyes at the sound of people talking. Sasuke was nowhere near.

She could feel his chakra, rising every once in a while. But what's strange was she could only sense two chakra signatures — from Naruto and Sasuke — yet she could hear more voices than two.

It was against the Hyuga teachings to spy on someone unless necessary. Still having the lessons of her former clan at heart, Hinata decided not to activate her kekkei genkai to check on her husband. Besides, it was rude to do so.

Instead, she took a bath and put on her clothes.

The sun had already risen as the room was already illuminated with the sunlight.

It took quite a while for Hinata to decide if she would come down. When she did, Hinata went on her way to go downstairs.

Upon reaching the point where the people downstairs by the living room were visible enough from sight, Hinata was not surprised to see two ANBU men in their masks on with Naruto and her husband. After all, Naruto would seldom visit while the ANBU were constantly checking on Sasuke — whether to call him or something remotely close to that.

Either way, she would always stay in their room or sometimes would give them food in accommodation. Today was no different.

"Oh Hinata-chan!" Naruto yelled upon seeing her. With this, she flashed a small smile. "Good morning! We're just here to check up on this bastard."

"Oh," Hinata mustered with the same smile she wore. She reached the living room and asked the men, "Would you like some tea, gentlemen?"

"That's nice of you, Hinata-chan!" Naruto said, flashing his usual fox like grin. The blond did not look like he changed after the war — even if her friends had claimed that Naruto was blaming himself for what happened. "Sencha! Or green! Whatever you have!"

"We won't stay for long," one of the ANBU men said dismissively, startling Hinata at the lack of manners.

"Sasuke-kun?" she asked, gaining his attention. He turned to look at her with a soft expression — and it seemed like a guilty one. So Hinata added with a smile, "The usual for you."

Exiting the room, Hinata held her breath. There was tension in where the men was and she probably took some with her. Though she could not see what's behind the masks, Hinata knew that there was a glare behind those masks — even without the help of the byakugan.

As she prepared, Hinata tried her best not to eavesdrop. Whenever Naruto would come to their house, she would just stay quiet. There would be times when they would speak or so, but it would always end up awkward — at least for her.

The ANBU on the other hand. . .

Whenever some of the ANBU comes to visit Sasuke or call Sasuke, Hinata knew that it was never her place to listen. Being a wife should be an enough reason for her to try and listen to their conversation, yet Hinata never really did so.

After preparing everything, Hinata walked to the living room but stopped upon hearing the stern voices.

"Your reason is invalid, Uchiha," one of the ANBU men said, making Hinata's eyes widen in both shock and curiosity.

"It just happened!" Naruto yelled in Sasuke's defense. "Didn't you hear what this bastard just said? It's not like he wanted it!"

In all honesty, Hinata did not have a clue on what they were talking about. Much as she wanted to guess, Hinata only looked down, hoping to hear for more.

"Still not an excuse, Uzumaki-san," one of the ANBU with the lower voice said — the one who did not talk to her.

"It's not an excuse!" Naruto shouted, his voice mixed with what seemed like annoyance. To Hinata, it sounded like the truth, even if she did not know what they were going on about. "It's the truth!"

"We meant no disrespect, Uzumaki-san," the ANBU with the lower voice said. "But even if Uchiha was telling the truth, his reason is still invalid."

Hinata noticed how there was respect in the way the ANBU said Naruto's name. And with Sasuke, there was none. There was something in the way they talked to Naruto that shouted disrespect towards her husband. Hinata did not know a lot about what was really happening, but she did think that Sasuke did not deserve the treatment. And maybe her thoughts were just clouded prior to the fact that she was married to Sasuke, but she did know how to treat people fairly.

"Someone's listening," the other ANBU said, snapping her thoughts in an instant.

At this, Hinata let go of a breath she did not know she was holding. No matter how curious she was, Hinata would never want to try and listen to these men. It was out of the boundaries anyways.

So she went back to the living room with a tray in hand, Sasuke was already sitting in one of the couches with Naruto on the other side. Naruto looked tenser than the three, but it was understandable — even if Hinata did not know of the situation The ANBU were still standing from where Hinata previously saw them.

"I'll report to Hokage-sama later," Sasuke said nonchalantly, still rested on his seat as if the atmosphere was calm.

"Have it your way then, Uchiha," the man who had sensed her eavesdropping said without acknowledging Hinata's presence. There was spite in his voice at the way he said the last word. "We'll be leaving."

And so the men left while Naruto stayed. After giving them their cups of tea, Hinata slowly sat down in the same couch where Sasuke sat. Last night's memory came tumbling back to her.

The way he pinned her to the wall. . .or when his sharingan flashed red just right before her eyes. It was done without hesitation, like Sasuke intended to do something to her. It scared her.

Yes it frightened her, but not to the point that Hinata could not sleep. Hinata still had worse memories compared to the one with her husband. But it bothered her how numb she felt about it all, or how little she had felt towards it.

"This is good!" Naruto commended loudly at the tea, capturing Hinata's attention. "You make good tea, Hinata-chan! What's the secret?"

"It's from the can," Sasuke deadpanned dismissively before sipping in his tea. Sasuke turned his whole body to face the blond and asked, "Still have any questions?"

"Jeez, can you be more jealous?" asked Naruto, scratching the back of his head. It was just like yesterday Hanabi did the same thing to Hinata. The blond turned to look at her and asked, "Bastard's such a pain in the ass, right Hinata-chan? Being jealous of his bestfriend. What a bastard."

Hinata's eyes widened at Naruto's assumptions about Sasuke's jealousy like a teenager once more. The familiar warmth she felt in her cheeks did not come unnoticed. It was like a scene when she was younger. The only difference was that the reason for her blush was a different boy. But then, he asked a question.

"Not really," answered Hinata with a shy smile.

"Eh?" said Naruto, putting his fingers in his chin in a thinking manner. "But the ANBU wouldn't show up if it weren't for his recklessness, 'no Sasuke? But what really happened?"

Hinata turned to look at Sasuke with much curiosity as if she was asking the same thing. Whatever Naruto was talking about, Hinata knew that there was something to do with Sasuke's hidden secrets — maybe not secrets but unspoken things that she thinks she deserve to know. And even if she deserved to know and even if she was curious, Hinata did not plan on asking what it is really about. There was something about it that shouted privacy, so Hinata knew better to respect it.

"None of your business, loser," Sasuke said with a startling grunt. Then he ordered, "Finish your tea. We have a meeting to catch up."

"I'm always late, 'ya know?" Naruto said in a matter-of-factly. He yawned and continued, "They never scold me for it."

"It's because you're the successor," mumbled Sasuke.

"That doesn't make me anything relevant," Naruto stated, putting his hands in the back of his head. He closed his eyes and continued, "Besides, Kakashi-sensei thinks it would take years before he gives up on being the Hokage, so successor or not, a lot will still happen."

Sasuke did not bother to reply. Instead, he drank his tea. His eyes would travel to Hinata from time to time and she would catch Sasuke's stare. And then Hinata wondered if Sasuke even tried to hide it.

"Anyways, will you come with us, Hinata-chan?"

"Uh. . .to where?" she asked hesitantly with eyes focused on the blond man right in front of her.

"To the hokage tower, of course!" answered Naruto with a cheeky grin. "It has changed a lot, 'ya know? I'm betting four ramens this bastard here didn't tell you. And you never go out of this house!"

"Didn't you hear?" asked Sasuke, making Hinata jump at the sudden reply. With a blank expression and in a monotone manner, he continued, "We never go out."

"Oh oh, but you do, bastard. Hinata-chan doesn't," the blond said with a snarky grin. "I bet you don't let Hinata-chan go out because you're a jealous bastard and you can't afford to see her talking to someone else."

The thoughts of the fact that Hinata never go out of the house before because of her own choice, and that she felt as if her husband had forbidden her to do so came rushing in. She wanted to correct him, but just smiled shyly.

"See?" the blond said, smirking mischievously. "Hinata-chan did not say anything. Silence means yes."

"Uhm, not really Naruto-ku," Hinata stopped, sipping in her own tea. She proceeded, "It's my own choice."

Another thought came in to her mind: Naruto's visits weren't always like this one. He would only smile at her, look at her briefly, or maybe even share a small talk with her. But not this one. . .Naruto seemed like he wanted to talk to her.

It was like yesterday when he walked away from her with such awkwardness that made Sakura jump into conclusions.

What changed?

"Possessive bastard, huh?" teased Naruto with his signature fox like grin. "I've always predicted that."

"Uhm. . .that's not it," Hinata said nervously as she could not take Naruto's assumptions that lightly. At this, both the men looked at her. "I. . .we. . ."

"You used the wrong word, stupid," murmured Sasuke, cutting his wife off.

"I don't care," Naruto huffed. "Prediction, guess, whatever. It's all the same. So predicted it is."

"Predicted, huh?" Sasuke echoed without preamble, smirking for a second before dropping his eyes towards the ground which made it look like a frown. "What's next, predictor?"

Naruto closed his eyes and pouted slightly. He put his pointy fingers on his temples as if he were really predicting something. Hinata found the act amusing. She knew Naruto could be this hyper and this charming, but knowing that he's doing it for Sasuke made it so much better.

When Hinata turned to look at Sasuke, she saw him smirk at his friend. For some reasons, her heart melted upon seeing how much amusement Naruto brought to Sasuke.

"You will have a child!" yelled Naruto in a whispering manner once he opened his eyes, still not dropping the divination act. Naruto gasped at his own words. Hinata's heart raced at the mention of the child once more even though it was made as a joke. "He'll be a prodigy! Girls will fawn other him. He'll have pale eyes like his mother and very dark hair!"

"Oh really?" Sasuke asked with an amused smirk which made Hinata wonder if Naruto and Sasuke were really this playful. Her husband touched his chin as if he was thinking of something serious. "A boy. What will be his name then?"

"Naruto!" Naruto yelled.

"Stupid," Sasuke muttered, losing his frown and completely losing interest in the whole divination roleplay. "I'll never name my child after you, loser."

"Okay go on then, name him," the blond said with a challenging tone.

"I won't."

"You will."

"No."

"You will!"

The playful banter between the blond and the raven haired male made her smile. The bond was different. Different than Shino's and Kiba's whenever they don't agree on something. Different from Ino's and Sakura's. Different from everything she had ever seen.

"Hinata will be the one to decide," Sasuke said with a grunt, snapping Hinata's thoughts away in an instant.

She turned to look at her husband with widened eyes. Did she hear that right? Trying to read him, Hinata could see nothing as usual. Her heartbeat raced and she could feel the blood pumping in her ears.

Did Sasuke really say that she will be the one to decide for the name when they'll finally have a child of their own?

The idea that they will soon have children of their own wasn't new to her. It dawned on her in their first night together as married couple. Back then, Hinata was sure she would give him his children and help him restore his clan. Though now that Sasuke seemed like he didn't want it at the moment, then Hinata found herself fine with that fact.

Even if the idea wasn't new to her, it was still bothering how people easily sneak it into their lives.

"Enough of this," Sasuke spoke once again, snapping Hinata's thoughts away. He put the empty cup of tea in one of the tables and stood up. "We better get going, loser."

Sasuke didn't speak the whole day to her after that.

A few days had passed since Sasuke snapped at her and since Naruto's visit with the ANBU — she still did not have any idea about that but disregarded the thoughts that may bring her confusion. There were much changes in the house. For some time, she asked herself if it was the spring that washed away the coldness or if it was Sasuke who gave it warmth.

Warmth in a way, perhaps?

He was less dense. Whenever he would come home from buying their stock of food from the grocery or from meetings, Sasuke would nod at Hinata. At night, he would hug her closer and would even snuggle his head in her shoulder.

In addition, there would be times when they would spar, but nothing like the first one. Most of the trainings they had were usually just composed of taijutsus and maybe a little bit of ninjutsus here and there. All they did was just blocking one another's attacks and put on some offense. Still, it served as a training. Even if Hinata felt sore after months of not being able to execute her combat skills.

And there was this one time when Sasuke actually helped her practice her aim. It was nothing worth remembering, yet it stayed in her mind.

Her reasoning was invalid, and she knew it herself. Yet Hinata wanted to believe that it was Sasuke himself, and not because Sasuke was guilty over the fact that he had snapped at her.

Her husband told her to forget about it. And Hinata knew she couldn't. But she tried.

She still could not forget the way he trapped her into admitting something she hasn't done and could not quite understand. Hinata chose to set it aside for now.

There were times when she wanted to ask why. Why he pinned her to the wall and kept asking what she did, when in fact there was none. Well, not that she thought of asking really — it was only the urging feeling. Maybe there was more to his questions.

Yet she did not ask him. Never once. Even if there were times when she almost did.

But then, a few days ago she told him that she wanted to love him. It was a confession that sounded too good to be true, yet it was.

Nevertheless, Sasuke did change. Temporarily, maybe? Hinata still wanted to believe that it would last. . .or maybe for quite some time.

If there was something that had truly changed about him: it was the fact that he was almost caring whenever Hinata wanted to go out. Not that Hinata did it a lot, but there were occasions when she wanted to do so.

Again, Hinata had to think whether it was because Sasuke was guilty about what he did to her or he was really trying to be civil about her.

If the snapping incident hadn't happened, then Hinata would think that Sasuke's actions the following days is because he was also trying. . .trying to love her or whatever.

It was Tenten's birthday, but due to some planned events, they decided to celebrate both Tenten's and Sakura's birthday by the end of the month. It was because Lee was on a mission and Tenten wanted him to be there — well, according to a scroll that they had sent and Sakura. Still, Hinata wanted to greet her friend for her birthday and even give a gift.

Sasuke made it clear — before he drifted away for the mission in rescuing Hanabi's theme — that Hinata was allowed to whatever she wanted. He never really forbid her to do some things, except when going out at night which was understandable — not completely because she still did not know why, but never asked anyways.

Yet, there was still that lingering fact that Hinata wanted Sasuke to know her plans. It was because she knew that it was right to do so. He was still her husband after all.

It was morning of Tenten's birthday when she got onto the balls of her feet and started walking towards her husband. He sat on the couch, much like he would usually do on lazy mornings.

"Sasu-?" called Hinata.

"Hn?" asked Sasuke, cutting her off and not giving her the gaze he would usually give when he was opposed to something.

"It's Tenten's birthday," she started slowly, looking down at the ground. "They aren't celebrating, but I just want to buy her something and maybe greet her."

"And?"

For several seconds, Hinata found the question odd and rude at the same time. She thought she already had everything said. But then, what was really Sasuke thinking? Reading him for a moment, Hinata told herself that she now understood.

"I want to buy something for her," Hinata said softly. "And I was thinking maybe you could. . .perhaps let me go?"

"I never really said no," stated Sasuke without preamble. Not a beat has passed when he continued with his usual irritated tone, "You could if you wanted to."

There was almost a hint of disappointment in his statement if it weren't for his blank state.

"I know. . ." she declared softly. "I just wanted you to know. And I would appreciate it if you —"

"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked in a soft low voice, taking her by surprise. With this, Hinata's gaze shifted from the ground to look at him. He was still looking at his scrolls.

"You don't need to," Hinata slowly said, hoping that he would not get the wrong idea. Biting her lower lip, she continued in a slower pace, "But I'd appreciate it if you do."

The words came out of nowhere. She did not think of it. Subconsciously, maybe. Yet, Hinata sounded sincere. There was no lie behind the words.

Hinata quickly turned around, refusing to see his reactions.

"Then I would," was his reply before standing up to grab his cloak.

Before Hinata could say something, he was already gone from her sight. She could only smile and let out a small sigh as she went her way to change her clothes. Intending to wear a yukata with the Uchiha crest, Hinata smiled to herself at her formality. To be fair, she never wore yukatas for formalities — Hinata had her kimonos for that.

"I think I'm ready to go," Hinata announced with a small shy smile. "Are you?"

Sasuke did not bother to reply.

When they got out of the house, Hinata tried her best not to spare glances at the people around them. They were always looking, talking, observing, and in all honesty, she knew that they weren't doing a great job at it.

Again, like a habit they couldn't break, Hinata twirled her arm around Sasuke's.

There were rumors. True. Hinata never minded those, or at least tries not to put too much mind into it. There was no point anyways.

Walks with Sasuke were always quiet. If they weren't, the two were probably talking about something necessary. But then, Hinata vowed that she wanted to love him. Therefore, if there would be someone who would make the first move between the two of them, it would be her.

"Do you think we still have some groceries at home?" asked Hinata shyly, tugging a thick lock of hair behind her ear. "Uhm. . .we could buy some while we're here."

"Hn. Where to first?"

"Groceries. . ." Hinata said shyly. "I think."

And so, they walked towards the mart where Sasuke would mostly buy their supplies. It was always Sasuke who bought them what they needed and he was always the one to organize it in their shelves or cupboards. Of course, Hinata would lend him a hand in almost everything — even in their laundry.

It was then Hinata realized something. Sasuke was a one handed man, yet he never complained to her about it. He would buy what they needed and it would always suffice in the long run. But now, Hinata began to realize the struggle of her husband.

Sasuke pulled out a cart before looking at her. Hinata walked right over to where Sasuke stood to show that she will be the one pushing it. He looked a little bit startled, but still barely showed anything other than a questioning look.

"What?" he asked, the visible eyebrow raising at her.

"Nothing." Hinata blushed furiously. She took a hold on the handle of the cart, brushing her hand with Sasuke's unintentionally. Averting her eyes from his, she said, "Let's just go ahead."

Together, they pushed the cart. With Hinata pushing it, and Sasuke guiding her just behind her. Hinata even felt his breath brushing in her nape.

As they walked in the aisles, Sasuke would put their supplies in the cart without asking for Hinata's permission or something close to that. But he knew what he was doing. Sasuke knew where to go and the aisles of the mart, as if he knew exactly what he was doing. Hinata never really bought groceries of her own — as they had the servants to do that in the Hyuga community — but seeing Sasuke do it, it seemed easy enough. It was common for almost everyone, but Hinata was not like everyone.

"You do this every end of the week," Hinata commented, looking at the cans in their cart.

"Hn. And what about it?" he asked, putting a box of flour in the cart.

"Is it tiring?" she asked, eyes still at the cart so she could not see or feel how Sasuke would react to her questions.

"No."

"Do you struggle?" Hinata asked once again.

"Why would I?"

Hinata bit her lip in anticipation. There was no way she would say that her questions pertained to his hand. If anything, Hinata knew better than to point out someone's flaw.

"I just wanted to know," Hinata replied with a tight smile. "Because. . .you've been doing this for us both and I—"

"I've been doing this since I was young," he said dismissively with a wave of a hand before proceeding to add a carton of milk to the cart.

It dawned on Hinata. Sasuke lost his whole clan at a young age. Even if Hinata did not think much about it before, she knew that it hurt. . .probably even more than she understood. Either way, she knew she would never ask Sasuke about it. There was the fact that she was his wife, yet she knew her boundaries.

"Thank you," she started. "For doing the groceries."

"It's nothing to thank about," Sasuke said with much nonchalance.

"It's something," Hinata said. Stopping to walk for a while, Hinata turned to look at Sasuke who was just right behind her. There was an unfamiliar evident interrogation look from Sasuke. With blood rushing to her face, the wife continued, "From now on, can we start buying groceries together?"

His body stiffened before he said, "Why not?"

So she found herself smiling gratefully before turning her back from Sasuke again to push the cart. She could no longer feel Sasuke's front brushing her back as they walked, and his hand wasn't on the handle still. He chose to let go.

At this, Hinata turned to look at Sasuke.

There stood Sasuke, just about three feet away from her, both eyes staring at her. Emotionless still, yet spoke volumes. It was as if the whole building silenced, Hinata could no longer hear anything as she looked at her husband.

"Are you okay?" she asked, concerned. Her eyebrows knitted in both worry and confusion.

"Yes," he replied. He looked hesitant when he started walking towards her direction, but Hinata let go of the cart. She faced him with a small worried smile as he approached her slowly. Once he was just barely a step away from her, he said, "Come on now."

Hinata still had her eyes on his, but he averted his gaze as if he was feeling uncomfortable. The wife understood.

And when they had paid for everything, Hinata found herself struggling in carrying the bags of groceries. She did not know that it would take too much time and even a lot of strength just to carry the stuff they bought. Her husband did it every weekend. And even if she didn't want to think of it much, there was the fact that he was a one handed man.

When they exited the building, Sasuke asked, "Where to next?"

"Tenten's gift?" she stated in a questioning matter. "I know what she likes. Weapons. But uhm. . .I don't really know a lot of shops."

"Weaponry. . ." Sasuke whispered to himself. He cleared his throat and said, "There's an old shop near the district, but if I were you, I wouldn't buy a weapon for her."

"Why?"

"Because everyone else would buy weapons for her."

The answer was simple, but Hinata knew that it bore the truth more than anything. So she decided to take on his advice. Turning to look at Sasuke to ask for advice, he immediately averted his gaze which was obviously on her before.

"Do you. . .uhm. . .have any idea on what we should buy?" she asked, looking down at her own feet.

"If you want to buy her weapons, then go," Sasuke mumbled. She could still feel the irritation in his tone and the sternness in his voice, but it didn't bother her as much as it did before. "Go with the basics since they'll probably buy her something rare."

"I think you're right," Hinata said truthfully and she felt him stiffen his body. It felt like she was asking a lot of him so Hinata said, "I don't have any idea on what I want to give her but I trust your opinion."

"Hn," Sasuke said. "Don't stress yourself too much."

"I'm not. . ." she paused. Clearing her throat, Hinata continued, "Stressing myself."

"It's not good for you," Sasuke said. Not quite understanding what Sasuke meant, Hinata turned to look at her husband. And there, she saw that he was wearing a smirk. "People are thinking you're carrying something Naruto predicted."

"Was that an inside joke?" she asked, more to herself than to Sasuke. She was pretty sure that Sasuke heard it, but he did not respond. Instead, they continued walking with his hand wrapped around Hinata's.

"A book," Sasuke said after a while. "It's wise to give a book."

"Hmm?" asked Hinata, trying not to steal a glimpse at her husband. "A book?"

Maybe she did not think much about it, but Hinata found herself in a bookstore with Sasuke. Sasuke had let her go the moment they entered the front door. While Hinata roamed, Sasuke followed her in every shelf they went.

It had been going on for circles when Hinata realized that she was not getting any improvement with just walking around. Her mind was blank even though she's seen quite a hundred of books. Once her eyes read the titles, it would immediately disappear in her mind.

Hinata got it then. She was out of focus.

Turning around, Hinata saw Sasuke. He stood there, not far from her. His dark eyes were focused on a book, though Hinata knew that Sasuke knew that she was staring at him. Slowly turning the book around for her to see, Hinata's eyes widened. Walking towards her husband, Hinata's eyes were still on the book. It was perfect.

"Entrepreneurship. . ." Hinata mumbled underneath her breath. Seeing as the book was about establishing a business, she smiled to herself. Never had she imagined Tenten to be a businesswoman before. "I don't know about that. . ."

"Then tell her it's my gift," muttered Sasuke, seemingly annoyed at the way she said those words. Suddenly feeling a little bit guilty, Hinata hid behind her hair. But then, Sasuke spoke in a soft voice, "It's only natural for us to give her something as one. We're married."

Smiling at the way Sasuke said the last sentence, Hinata took the book in her other hand before taking his hand. Her soft fingers slowly made their way to wrap themselves into his calloused ones. A hand of a shinobi — a great one — meeting a hand of a kunoichi.

At her own action, Hinata felt the all too familiar warmth in her cheeks. There was no denying it. She was blushing mad.

"I'll go pick one more," Hinata announced with a small smile, meeting his eyes. Sasuke did not seem too bothered about the move. In fact, he had a different light. It surrounded him, and it suit him better than the darkness. "Let's go to the end of the aisle."

And then she started pulling Sasuke gently. She pressed the book to her chest tightly as her heart started to race faster than it did before. Hinata knew that they looked like a shy couple. Even with holding hands, the gap between them was large enough. But even so, Hinata did not mind. She wanted to love him.

When she stopped walking, he didn't. Sasuke did not remove his hand from hers, but kept moving towards her. Hinata could not bring herself to look at him as her heart was still beating against her chest. When she felt his chest bump her shoulder, Hinata looked at him.

"What is it?" asked Hinata with wide eyes.

"You're buying two business books," pointed Sasuke. "If so, then buy a book about weapons."

"It's still your gift. . ." said Hinata. Unsure if it's a question she just asked or a statement she just said, Hinata's lips quivered. "Is it?"

The edge of Sasuke's lips curled in such a manner Hinata has never seen before. It resembled a smirk or a smile. Maybe just an amused face? Either way, wherever it falls, it's still new to Hinata. Seeing as Sasuke was showing more emotions than he did ever since they have wedded, Hinata was very much satisfied with how everything was going. It was nice.

But, however nice Sasuke had looked at the moment, she could not bring herself to admit that she didn't like giving Tenten something so random. Maybe it's not so random. To her though, it felt very much that way.

"Sure," was all he said before pulling his hand away from Hinata.

It was only then she realized that Sasuke's venom in his voice was gone. In fact, she couldn't recall a time from when he spoke to her in such a manner since the day he pinned her to the wall. He was probably a little bit guilty of what happened.

And so, Hinata bought a book about weapons and another two about entrepreneurs. When they paid for it, Hinata found herself struggling more as they now carry more than a lot.

Needless to say, Hinata almost never wanted to buy something for Tenten. Seeing as the books seemed enough, Hinata was almost confident, but she needed something to give Tenten. Those were Sasuke's gifts and not hers.

The next thing they know, Hinata's feet led them to a weapon shop near the Uchiha district.

"What will you buy her then?" asked Sasuke.

"The basics," she replied with a smile. At this, she saw Sasuke smirk. Hinata's thoughts wandered for a while. So it was true, Sasuke really had an effect towards women. Thinking out loud, she said, "It's nice when you do that. . ."

"When I smirk?" asked the Uchiha.

Hinata flushed red in embarrassment, but nodded nonetheless. It was supposed to be, 'when you show emotions.' But Sasuke did show more emotions now more than the time they have been together.

"Why not?" he said with a wider smirk, making her smile in return.

Hi. So I never got to recover my files so let's say goodbye to the supposedly next four chapters. This is a rewritten of the original seventh chapter so I understand if it's not great. Also, I just found out that you can reply to reviews. Whaaaa? Hahaha anyways it's nice to talk to you guys. I hope you don't mind me crashing in your PM's.

And also also, omg. . .but I can't wait for the next chapter. It sucks that I have to rewrite it again. I thought the first draft was perfect :((.

Don't worry much about the story btw, I really plan on continuing this story with the original plot. Like I've said in my other fanfic, I don't plan on abandoning my fics as long as I live. About my other fanfic tho, it's a modern hs AU so if you guys like that kind of thing, then you can check it out if you want. I already have the plot for that one and I also don't plan on abandoning it.

All the love.

Oh and disclaimer: Naruto isn't mine.
