Batman and Frozen Crossover FanFiction 3: Beautiful, Powerful, Poisonous, Green

This is the third fanfiction in my series of crossover fanfictions between Batman and Frozen. It takes place almost five months after my last story in this series and is at least a month before Frozen Fever. It centers around Elsa learning about some of the villains in Gotham with powers as well as Jacob and Elsa's relationship having a bit of a disruption thanks to a certain plant-powered eco-terrorist. That's right, Poison Ivy is the villain in this one and it will feature Ivy's nature powers against Elsa's frosty powers. Ivy plans to use the TITAN formula on her plants to take over Gotham City just like she did in Arkham Asylum and the heroes will have team up with unlikely allies such as Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze. Jacob as well is looking for his own superhero identity like Batman and eventually discovers his new alias as The Lemur. I absolutely do not own Batman which belongs to DC Comics and was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger and Frozen which belongs to Disney and which is based on "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Anderson. I picture it as an animated thing, but you guys can picture it however you choose. Batman is in his Arkham City look with Kevin Conroy reprising his role. Poison Ivy is in her Arkham Asylum look with Tasia Valenza reprising her role. Elsa is in both her Ice Dress from Frozen and her Anna's Birthday Celebration Dress from Frozen Fever in this story. Anna is in both her Winter Dress from Frozen and her Anna's Birthday Celebration Dress from Frozen Fever in this story. Enjoy!

Beautiful, Powerful, Poisonous, Green

Synopsis: Spring has truly sprung in Gotham, Arendelle, and anywhere else and what better time than for Poison Ivy to put her latest plan into action which involves once again using the TITAN formula to make her plants grow big and strong enough to turn Gotham into her own personal jungle. Jacob as well is looking for his own superhero identity to help him out with his fight against all things bad. After a trip to the zoo, he finds his new identity as The Lemur and gets new equipment and tech from Batman to adopt that persona. Meanwhile, Jacob and Elsa's relationship takes a bumpy turn after Ivy gets Jacob under his control to help her in her evil eco plot. In order to stop her and save both Jacob and Gotham, the heroes team up with unlikely allies such as Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze before the city becomes overrun with the weirdest weeds anyone can imagine.

Chapter 1: A Beautiful Morning

The sun was showering the kingdom of Arendelle in golden rays waking all of its citizens and royalty up. In Jacob's room in the castle, the sun shone through his window and that made his eyes slowly open until he was fully awake. Once he was awake, he got up and stretched and was ready to get his day started. It had been nearly five months since him and his friends went up against The Riddler in his sick game and things have been going really good since then. Especially after Arendelle's first Christmas since The Great Thaw and the sisters discovering Olaf was their tradition and they all had a very merry Christmas. For the first time in along time, he felt truly happy because he was doing good in both the kingdom and Gotham City, had found a great group of friends, and most of all, had found someone to love. Elsa was definitely the best thing that had ever happened to him. He loved her with all his heart and would do anything for her. Words could not describe how much he loved her. Not only the fact that she had magical powers or her beauty equivalent to that of a goddess, but also her kind demeanor of how much she loved her friends, family, and subjects. It was almost hard to believe that she stayed hidden for so long mainly because of the fear her parents instilled in her, whether their intentions were good or not. Then again, he hid himself away when he was young too because he didn't feel like he would fit in anywhere, but now he has. After he got freshened up, Jacob went downstairs to join the rest for breakfast. He saw Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and his love at the table eating chocolate chip pancakes. "Morning, honey!", Elsa said as she went over to greet him. They kissed each other briefly before they sat down. "Morning, everyone!", Jacob said to everyone. "Sleep well?", Olaf asked. "Yes, I did.", Jacob answered. Kai walked over to Jacob and asked, "Coffee, Jacob?". "Sure. Thanks, Kai.", Jacob answered. "So, what's on the agenda today?", Jacob asked. "Well, me and Kristoff were going to have a picnic down by the fjord if you guys want to come to.", Anna said. "I'll come! I love picnics!", Olaf said. "Did you want to come too, Sven?", Kristoff asked. "Sure. How about you two?", Sven asked Elsa and Jacob. "I would, but I actually have some paperwork to finish up. You guys go ahead. You and Kristoff need some personal time together. "Are you sure, Els? We don't mind.", Kristoff asked. "Yeah, even the Queen needs a break from boring documents. And besides it's been so beautiful outside lately. All the flowers are really starting to bloom.", Anna said. "I imagine it's because of all that rain we had last month in April and it's May now. I guess it's true that April showers bring May flowers.", Sven said. "I'm sure. We'll all hang out together tonight.", Elsa said. "Alright. What about you, Jake? Do you have any meetings with Batman today?", Kristoff asked. "Not today. I think I'll just stay back with Elsa if that's alright, dear?", Jacob said. "Why would I mind my boyfriend spending time with me?", Elsa joked. "So, is that still going good as far as spending time with Batman?", Anna asked. "Oh, yeah. Definitely. He's been letting me come along on more of his missions now. And I really feel like I'm getting a good experience out of it.", Jacob said. The past few weeks, Jacob had helped Batman with missions such as putting Victor Zsasz in a straight jacket after he went on another killing spree that made him carve a few more marks in his body, stopping a now grown up Anarky and his followers from blowing up a few spots in the city, and capturing The Mad Hatter after he took over the Wonderland section at Gotham Fairy Tale Land and used his mind control devices to hypnotize the guards there to dress up like Alice in Wonderland characters and serve him. Elsa actually helped them both out with that mission and she ended up being a big help like always because of her powers. "That's great to hear. Well, we should probably get ready. See you guys later.", Kristoff said. "See ya.", Jacob said. Later on in the day, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf went on their picnic while Jacob and Elsa stayed in the castle. After he got done hanging out in the art room, he walked into Elsa's office who was signing some papers. "Hey, honey.", Jacob said. Elsa looked up and smiled at seeing him. "Hey.", she responded. "You busy?", Jacob asked. "No. I actually am just finishing up with today's work. Come in.", Elsa said motioning him to come closer. "Being Queen can be pretty hard and boring sometimes I take it.", he asked. "It has its ups and downs. Mainly the downs are all this damn paperwork and trying to keep everyone in the kingdom in line. But other than that it's alright.", Elsa said. "That was quite a mess that we were in the other night in Gotham?", Elsa asked. "What? You mean with the Mad Hatter? He's barely anybody. He's just a psycho in a top hat.", Jacob said. "I did find it disturbing how he kept calling me Alice and tried to get me to join his tea party.", Elsa said. "He does that to every girl he comes across. He's that delusional. Although, the Alice from the story didn't have ice powers like you do, so that's one big difference.", Jacob said. "Yeah, I guess that's true.", she said. Jacob saw that she had a bit of a disappointed look on her face. "Are you alright?", he asked her. "Yeah, I'm fine.", she told him. He then started to have an idea on what might've been bugging her. "Hey. I know you were a little disappointed when Marisol ended up not having powers after all the hype Olaf made.", Jacob said. It was a couple weeks ago when Olaf brought news of a Queen in a kingdom called Eldora that was trapped in an eternal summer just like how Elsa accidentally trapped Arendelle in an eternal winter. Thinking people might be in danger, they rushed over there to help. The Queen ended up being a young woman named Marisol who ended up not having fire or heat powers or any kind powers and the kingdom was always hot because it was surrounded by a desert. Olaf misunderstood when he got that message. But Elsa was excited because she thought she would finally meet someone else who had magical powers, but the whole thing ended up being a misunderstanding. She of course made a good new friend with Marisol, but she was a little sore from the letdown. "Honestly, I was mainly because of all the stuff Olaf was talking about. It's just I'm the only person I've ever known that has powers and I would just really like to meet someone else who has powers. I know me and her became best friends which was nice, but still.", Elsa said. "I'm sure there are others out there with powers and you will meet some one day.", he told her. "You think so?", she asked. "I do.", he told her while giving her a comforting hug. She returned the hug and then kissed him on the cheek. Jacob then thought for a second and remembered that he already did know others with powers. But they were pretty much all villains in Gotham. "Well, I don't know if this helps, but Gotham actually has some people with powers.", he told her. Elsa looked intrigued almost immediately and asked, "Really? How come you never told me about this before?". "I just never thought of bringing it up mainly because all the ones that do are villains in the city.", he said. "Oh, really?", she asked. "And another thing is that they weren't born with their powers like you were. They got their powers through scientific accidents or experiments that changed them.", he explained. "Interesting. Like give me some examples.", she told him. "Well, one of them is actually cold-themed like you, Mr. Freeze.", he said. "I remember you said something about him before. Isn't he the one whose wife died just recently?", she asked. He then did remember that Freeze's beloved wife Nora which was his only motivation had finally died after fighting her disease for years. A power outage happened in the area where Freeze was at in Gotham which damaged his equipment and the chamber where Nora was frozen in. Because of this, she woke up and before he was about to put her on ice again, she begged him to stop this and that she doesn't want saving anymore, especially after all the damage it has done to her husband. After a long while to think, Freeze accepted her wishes. They then spent her last few weeks together and it was honestly the happiest time of his life in how long. But a few weeks later, her disease took her, but not before Nora told Freeze that she loved him and that she forgives him for all he's done. "Yes. His real name is Dr. Victor Fries. He was a cryogenicist who was obsessed with finding a cure for his wife's disease that was killing her, so he put her into a sort of cryo suspended animation to give him more time. But after a fight with his boss, he had a lab accident that made him be exposed to cooling chemicals that altered his metabolism and that made him only able to live in subzero temperatures.", Jacob explained. "That's terrible! But how would he able to survive in normal conditions?", she asked. "He built himself a mechanized suit when he had to go outside the cold zone and created cryonic weaponry such as his signature freezing gun. But she did end up dying a short while ago, but they did end on good terms. But nobody has seen Freeze since then.", he said. "That's so sad to hear. What about some of the others?", she asked. "Well, there's also the famous horror actor Basil Karlo, better known as Clayface who after being a test subject for an experimental face cream, was mutated into this giant blob of living clay that allowed to take the form of anything or anyone.", Jacob explained. "Where's he at?", Elsa asked. "He's dead. He died the same night Joker died in Arkham City.", he said. "I see. Any others?", she asked. "Well, there's only one other one I can think of and if anything she's probably the most well-known of Gotham's rogues gallery that has powers.", he said. "Who's that?", she asked. "That would be Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, but she normally goes by Poison Ivy.", he said. "What's her story?", Elsa asked. "She was once a well-respected botanist who devoted her entire life to save plants from extinction, but ended up becoming too obsessed with her work and goal. After a lab accident that was created by her boss, when he injected her with an experimental plant-based poison that made her go through one hell of a transformation. Her skin turned green, became immune to all poisons and toxins, and is now able to control all kinds of plant life. She uses her powers to purify the world and is pretty much a flat out eco-terrorist.", he explained. "That's kinda disturbing to hear.", she said. "Another power she has is that she has this pheromone dust that gets anyone under control and makes them fall madly in love with her. She'll make them do anything she wants once that happens.", he said. "That's sick! People shouldn't be controlled like that! Chicks like her give women a bad name.", Elsa said. "But my point is, it's just sad how the ones with powers in that city just use them for evil or for their own selfish desires rather than using them for good like you do.", he said. "Well, thanks for informing me on those fine individuals and that did make me feel somewhat better whether they use their powers for good or evil, or were born with them or not. Thank you, Jacob. I do appreciate it.", she told him. "Anytime, beautiful.", he said. "Now, how about we take a nice stroll through the kingdom on a lovely day like this?", he asked her. "Sounds good to me.", she said. They held each others hands and made their way out of the castle and started to walk through the streets of Arendelle.
