Deep in space floated a ship, worn from use and more then a few years old. Inside was a man in Saiyan armor. "Kamla, why isn't her scouter responding at all? If I had access to the Frieza Forces logs I could just go find her, but with out her coordinates I may as well find a speck of gold on a beach." He slammed his fist down on the control console before turning around to look at a healing pod, inside was a Saiyan woman, her heart beating once every few minutes as bubbles floated around her.

"Totoma I'll find her and save you." He stood and pressed his forehead on the glass. "I know you can pull through. My low class love."

Chapter 19: The Dungeon

I walked behind Asta and Noelle with Sol as Luck led the way. The over grown path gave a nice shade as I looked up soon I came under a apple tree and jumped up grabbing a fruit from high in the tree and landed on my feet. I bit into the juicy fruit as we walked. The rustling of branches caught Noelle's attention. "Do you eat any meat? I mean the amount the Black Bulls eat is ridiculous, but I don't think I've seen you even touch a cold cut."

"I don't eat meat." I stopped to take a bite, "Doesn't sit well with me. Back at Hage I would gather fruits and berries to supplement the pot potatoes that Father and Sister Lily would cook for us."

"Ah, Sister Lily's cooking is the best, and when I marry her She can cook for all of us." Asta said dreamily.

Noelle's cheeks puffed out in annoyance, "Asta, how many times have you been told, she is a woman of the cloth. She can't marry."

"Yeah Asta try more your age as well." I said before throwing a wink at Sol. 'Watch this.' I mouthed to the older teen. "Take Noelle for example, she seems your type, a modest woman with water magic that hits you when you are dumb."

The intended effect was instant. Noelle's face burned bright red as she turned on her heel to me. "WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTING YOU COMMONER! I AM ROYALTY! LIKE I WOULD EVER HAVE FEELINGS FOR THIS INSECT!"

"Nah, Noelle's isn't anything like Sister Lily." Asta just turned away and lost all interest before he stopped. "Oh, I see what you doing Helen, I didn't fall for it this time, though Noelle did."

'You weren't supposed to Asta.' I just smugly smirked at the steaming royal. "Then why are you blushing like that princess?" I said as I walked past her taking a bite of the apple. "Just think about it."

"What are you doing?" Sol leaned down to me. "We need them focused on the mission."

"Yeah, you think Asta even realized what I was doing?" I asked as she looked at my ash blonde brother. "I'm just... moving the pieces into place."

"Why are you like this?" She just shook her head as I threw away the apple core before jumping up and climbing to the top of a tree. At the end of the path was massive ruined castle and even from here I could feel the mana from the building.

"I can see the dungeon!" I called down. "About another half mile!" I jumped to the next tree.

"Get down here!" Noelle called to me before I dangled my self upside down from my tail at the end of a large branch that hung low over the path. "What are a you a monkey?" She glared at me.

"Maybe." I flipped back landing on my feet.

"Hey that's soo cool!" Luck smiled at me widely, "When we get back I want to see how you do in a fight!" I caught a few punches for him.

"Maybe someday. I'm still trying to find my footing." I smiled. 'I am never following up on that.'

"Sweet!" He smiled manically as we continued down the path until the Dungeon loomed over us, the Mana leaking from the building was over flowing into the surrounding area.

"Whoah!" Asta had stars in his eyes as he looked at it.

"Wow... it looks so old." Noelle said as well looked at the dark entry way.

I held up my hand as I breathed in the air, the scent of... perfume... 'Damn it Noelle.' I closed my eyes and took a second breath... smoke... minerals and fire... acid. "We aren't the first ones here. Three powerful mages."

"How could you..." Noelle stated before Asta nodded.

"Helen's nose is sharper then any forest dweller. If she smells the mages then they are here." He said.

"All right. Let's stick toget..." Before Sol could finish Luck bolted inside.

"LUCK!" Noelle yelled.

He just smiled with a crazed grin, "I'll handle the mages you focus on the Treasure." And he was gone.

"Damn it!" We ran after him inside the building and the Mana enveloped us. The soft glow of flames in my palm illuminated the path as we ran through the tunnel, following Luck's scent. We came to a collapsed section off wall to a massive room with water, and strange nonsensical architecture, bridges and man made streams that flowed on the walls and ceilings, upside down houses, tunnels that couldn't be reached with out flying.

"The Mana here." I took a sniff of the air. "Tsk, it masks Lucks scent. The magic here is so old that only the most powerful of mages would stand out." I took two more sniffs. 'It's that strange mixed magic... no way that could belong to one person.' Just as Noelle was about to take a step forward I blocked her with my arm. "Traps."

"Are you sure? I don't see anything?" She asked.

"I can't pick them up, but just walking in would be to easy." I said as I kneeled down and place my hand on the ground. "Elemental Enchantment: Heavy Water." From my hand a dark blue water that flowed over the stones in a thick sheet expanding over the ground almost ten feet from us a pillar of flames erupted. "Asta!"

"ON IT!" He pulled his anti magic blade from his grimoire slashing through the trap, and the next one to get set off.

"It's like you have done this before." Sol said with a smile. "Great work at taking charge!"

'Have I... it's like my body is doing it on it's own? No, clearly I haven't... right?' Soon the platform we stood on was clear of traps. "T-thanks."

As we walked along I tried to get a sense of where the most Mana was. But... "This place is like a Mana bomb went off here. There is just so much that is a Mage was able to absorb even a small amount of it, well... I don't know what could happen." Sol said.

"You guys are so lucky. I want to sense Mana." Asta cried to the side.

As we went to the next platform a trap went off. "AHHH!" Noelle yelled as a plant beast grabbed her and Asta.

I flicked through my grimoire for a flame spell but a gust of wind blew my hair into my face as a Barrage of wind blades shredded the beast. "Helen, Asta, my debt is paid."

"Yuno." We both smiled up at our brother, and his Golden Dawn comrades.

Hey.
