Summary: Naruto notices many things. A NaruHina drabble with hints of SasuSaku, NejiTen, ShikaIno, and ShinoOC.

Naruto notices many things.

He notices the way Sasuke-dobe looks at Sakura-chan when he thinks she doesn't know, emotions clouding over in his brilliant onyx orbs.

He notices the way Tenten gingerly bandages up Neji's injuries in a small forest clearing after an especially hard session of training, and how the Hyuuga looks on in silent adoration, a soft edge reflecting in his bottomless transparent eyes which his sparring partner never seems to catch.

He notices the way Shikamaru and Ino watch the clouds drift across the blue, blue sky, fingers entwined, shoulders slightly touching, sneaking glances at each other once in a while.

He notices the way the Sand siblings watch out for each other in the most subtle ways—Gaara being hopelessly overprotective of his older sister when she's not watching; Temari keeping the argumentative two in check and taking care of the household; Kankurou giving wise advice that no one ever thought to be heeded, and helping out wherever he can.

He notices the way Shino pays a little more attention than usual towards a new female arrival who also happens to have a liking for bugs. (He shivers here.)

But, as noticing as he is, he never notices the way a normally not stealthy, strangely quiet Hyuuga kunoichi watches him in silent fascination, loving his entire being.

And he doesn't notice it until he kneels in front of a hard, cold gray gravestone and take scomfort in his warm archive of memories of her.

And when he does notice, it's a little too late.

He weeps, and the sky joins him in his mourning.

Rest in peace. The slab of marble reads. Hyuuga Hinata.

I love you, Naruto-kun.

A/N: Aw. –tear tear- Poor Hinata. How she died is up to you to figure out. P
