Motoyasu was excited, and could you blame him? After all, he alongside five others were summoned to a new world to be its heroes. Well four of them were at least, apparently, two extra people, more specifically girls, got summoned along with them.

Sure he was killed when two of his girlfriends he was dating behind the other's back found out about each other and then proceeded to stab him...repeatedly...All the while the both of them kept going on and on how each of them would be with him in heaven forever...at least that's what he recalled anyway. He did lose a lot of blood, so he couldn't really process things so well…

...Girls are scary...

But none of that matters! He was in a new world, armed with a legendary spear, and was given a quest to save the world from disaster. It was just like in his game; Emerald Online. He was just isekai into a world just like Emerald online!

He was looking forward to this, the adventuring, the fame, the glory, and most of all adding cute girls to his eventual harem. He was especially hoping to add the two extra additions to his harem.

One was a girl who was Japanese, had a cute youthful face with purplish-blue eyes, and had long light brown hair that reached down to her waist and was tied into a side ponytail on the left side of her head. Motoyasu found her to be very pretty, and the fact that she had a nice figure just made it better.

But if Motoyasu found Nanoha cute, the other girl was downright gorgeous. She looked to be caucasian, and without a doubt had one of the most beautiful faces he has ever seen in his life, with beautiful eyes that shone like red rubies, had long golden hair that reaches down to her waist, and was rocking the best body he has ever laid his eyes on. He couldn't help but fantasize about sharing a bed with her.

When they introduced themselves after the shield hero called out to the king that he has accidentally forgotten about him and the other girls(though in Motoyasu's opinion, the shield hero should have been more respectful when addressing the king), the former girl was called Nanoha Takamachi while the latter was Fate Testarossa.

'An exotic name to go with her exotic beauty,' Motoyasu thought a bit pervertedly.

Apparently, the two of them got dragged along when the shield hero of their world was summoned. Motoyasu felt a bit bad for them as they no doubt would feel pressured into fighting the waves. He knew how much girls didn't like to fight or have their hands get dirty. Lucky for them they shouldn't have to worry about that stuff, after all, Motoyasu would fight for them so they won't have to dirty their pretty hands.

Anyway speaking of the shield hero, he was caucasian that had green eyes, and brown shaggy hair. Other than that, there wasn't else much to say about the guy in the spear hero's eyes, though Motoyasu did find the watch that the kid wore on his wrist looked pretty cool. It was overall green, and the dial had what looked like a green hourglass on it. Though he doubts it really works, after all from what he could see there weren't any hands to indicate what time it was. Maybe it's one of those fancy digital watches. In any case, the kid with the shield introduced himself as Ben Tennyson.

All three of them looked to be about the same age, being about 19 years old. As for their occupation, all three of them worked as plumbers.

This came as a shock to Motoyasu. Yeah, he wanted to mock Ben for having such a stupid job, but he wasn't expecting both Nanoha and Fate to work in an environment that would involve getting their hands dirty.

And it was because of this he couldn't help but ask, "Woah whoa whoa, the both of you girls work as plumbers!? Why?"

Nanoha only looked at him with a smile and simply said, "Because Fate-chan and I want to help people."

Both Ben and Fate smiled at each other as if they knew some neat secret.

While Motoyasu could get behind helping others, and as sweet as it is for Nanoha and Fate to want to, he still couldn't understand why they would work as something as degrading as being plumbers. Surely there were better options that these two could work in that could allow them to help others without dirtying themselves.

Before he had a chance to press the issue the king began explaining the situation, about how they had a prophecy where the kingdom would be attacked by the waves, and how only the four cardinal heroes can save it, and that's why the four of them (well six of them) were summoned so they could save the world. It was pretty much the same as Emerald Online.

"Yeah, I think we all get the gist of it, but…" Ren took a chance to interrupt, "You don't seriously expect us to do this thing for free, right?"

"I have the same question. Unless we have sufficient aid and support, our quest will be difficult, and in the unfavorable event, we could fail because you didn't help us protect this world. And I mentioned this before, but if we succeed and you simply sent us back home, everything we did will be for nothing." said Itsuki.

"That's right! You can't expect us to work for free, right? Say, if we were to fight in these waves you speak off, what guarantee do we have that you won't simply send us off with our hands empty after we beat it?" Motoyasu spun his spear in a way that he was sure would impress the two girls.

The reaction he got wasn't what he was hoping for.

"What is wrong with you three!?" Nanoha reprimanded with a scowl, "These people are in danger, and all you three care about is demanding payment!"

"What's the problem?" Ren asked taken back by the tone of her voice.

"Yeah, we need as much aid and support as we can in order to save the world," Itsuki argued.

"You're not wrong about needing supplies," Fate said with a shake of her head as Ben walked a bit closer to the other three heroes.

"However you three are going about it more like mercenaries than as heroes," Ben added with a disapproving frown that annoyed the other three boys, "Heck the first thing you guys demanded when we got here was a reward."

"Oh come on! We're heroes for crying out loud, we deserve rewards and recognition for our heroism," Motoyasu argued with irritation in his voice. What did this brat know, he worked as a freaking plumber for crying out loud. Not even a day here and he thinks he knows better.

Ben simply shook his head before calmly saying, "Being a Hero isn't about others knowing you did something good, it's about you knowing you did something good. Being a hero is its own reward."

Motoyasu simply rolled his eyes at that.

'Bet you got that corny line from a fortune cookie,' he thought.

AN: and here we go, the first chapter of this short story. Now, this isn't going to be a real story, it's pretty much a crack-fic of sorts. You know just mainly for stupid fun, and dealing with minor plot-bunnies, as well as something I wanted to do in regard to Rising of the shield hero crossovers. This crack-story is mainly going to be done from the perspective of the cast of the "Rising of the Shield Hero." I'm doing it more or less like this as, one; I find it enjoyable seeing the reactions of the shield cast whenever characters such as Shirou (Fate Stay Night), Bakugo(My Hero Academia), or Asuka(Senran Kagura), and so on displaying abilities that make them stand above the idiotic wielders, and two; I feel like this would allow me a bit more creative freedom without so much worrying about if some of the things I would write would come off as silly or dumb, all things considered.

So yeah this is just some stupid thing to binge read or something. If you enjoy it, awesome, If not then that's okay. This isn't something to take seriously in my opinion.

There is a possibility that It could evolve into something bigger but I doubt that. I'm just don't think I have enough ideas for a well-thought-out plot for this story. You would have a better plot if the goddess Blanc wrote it. In any case, enjoy this crack-fic, have a good day, stay safe, and don't listen to anti-vaxxers, they're as dumb as Motoyasu and Itsuki.
