Within Motoyasu's room, the group began talking and discussing how things been so far while they were in this world. Though things began to get kind of strange when they started to bring up their respective games. It confused Motoyasu at first that no one else in the room seemed to know or even heard about Emerald Online. It was after all one of the most popular games in the world.

It became even more confusing when Itsuki and Ren each claimed that the world they were in was based on a console game called DImensional Web or that they were in a VRMMO called BraveStar online. The latter part caught both Motoyasu and Itsuki by surprise, cause according to Ren VRMMO was what was commonly used to play games instead of consoles.

It was then Motoyasu suggested they do a test and compare common knowledge, stuff like whose face was on the 1000 Yen bill, who won world war ll, who was the current prime minister, what year it was, and so on. For each question, he, Itsuki, Ren, and Nanoha, sometimes Ben and Fate would chime in and answer for a few questions, each gave a different answer. It was crazy but apparently, all of them were each from different worlds (of course Ben, Nanoha, and Fate were obviously all from the same world).

The only ones who didn't seem so surprised were Ben, Nanoha, and Fate, which Ren couldn't help but notice.

Speaking of which, the three of them were currently sitting on top of the couch within the room.

Motoyasu walked up to them.

"By the way, how did you two girls get dragged along into this world?" the wielder of the spear asked. He felt bad asking that, as they no doubt got killed alongside that Ben guy. No doubt asking would probably bring up painful memories, but unfortunately, Motoyasu's curiosity got the better of him.

"Well the three of us were visiting the library, doing a bit of research," Nanoha began explaining.

"And I found this book, I think was called 'The Record of The Four Holy Weapons,' and as I was reading it I was engulfed in this bright light," Ben added scratching his head.

"When we saw what was happening, Nanoha and I rushed towards him," Fate said, "the next thing we knew we were transported into the same room with the three of you."

That explanation surprised the three other heroes.

"Wait you three didn't die before coming to this world?" The bow hero asked surprised.

The three seemed to be taken back by that statement.

"What, no!" Ben exclaimed in confusion, "what makes you think we died?"

"Well that's pretty much the go-to way when it comes to traveling to other worlds," Ren explained. It was how he got sent to this new world after all, and he was certain it was true for the other heroes as well.

"Not really," Fate explained, "The most common means of traveling between worlds involves portals and ships utilizing dimensional-based warp drives."

"That sounds more like the stuff you would see in sci-fi-related stuff instead of isekai," Itsuki said.

"Isekai?" Ben asked raising an eyebrow.

"It's a term used for when someone from Earth is transported to another world," Nanoha explained.

"Ah, alright," He said, before frowning in slight confusion, "Wait, doesn't that basically still fall in line with what Fate explained."

"Maybe," Nanoha said a bit uncertainly, as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Wait Ben, how come you don't know what Isekai is," Itsuki asked the brown-haired man, "Now that I think about it how come Nanoha was the one who answered most of the questions instead of you?"

"Cause I didn't know the answer to most of them," Ben answered with a shrug.

"Don't you also live in Japan?" Ren questioned with a raised eyebrow, to which Ben responded with a shake of his head.

"Nope, I live in Bellwood in America," the Shield hero stated before pointing his thumb towards Nanoha and Fate, "Nanoha and Fate on the other hand do, they just came to Bellwood just for the summer."

"So what's your relationship with each other," Motoyasu asked curiously.

'Please don't be dating, please don't be dating,' the blond thought in his head. He was hoping that neither of the girls were dating Ben. That way he would be able to ask both of them out.

"Oh, Nanoha and I are cousins," Ben answered.

"And both Nanoha and Ben are my best friends," Fate added with a smile, "we've known each other ever since we were kids.

Motoyasu mentally cheered at that. Neither of the girls were dating Ben, which meant they were available!

"Still it's weird how come you're not from Japan like the rest of us," Ren commented, earning confused looks from Ben, Nanoha, and Fate.

"Yeah, that is weird," Motoyasu agreed, placing the spear on his shoulder.

"Hold up, what's so weird about me not being from Japan," Ben asked confused.

"Um, it could be because your the Shield Hero," Itsuki said, causing the three to become even more confused.

"What does me being the shield hero have to do with me being from America, and again, why is that weird?" Ben asked again, this time with a little bit of irritation slipping into his voice.

"Ok chill bro, big bro Motoyasu will explain," The blond-haired man said, pointing his thumb to his chest, "In the game I played, the Shielder class…"

He paused before leaning right down and got right in Ben's face, "is for losers. No high-level player uses it."

With that Motoyasu stood up straight and observed their reactions. Ben, Nanoha, and Fate just looked at each other with confusion.

"Seriously," Ben remarked with a skeptical tone, merely raising his eyebrow.

"Fraid so," Motoyasu replied before looking toward his fellow heroes, "you guys agree with me right."

"It's the same thing in my game as well," Ren said with his arms crossed.

"Shields suck," Itsuki merely stated.

"There you have it man," Motoyasu said with a shrug of his shoulders, "you got no future. Sorry dude."

Suddenly Ben let out a chuckle, confusing the three other boys.

"Seriously guys, this isn't some game. This is reality," Ben said with a smirk as he stood up, "Anything can be used as a weapon, not only that but these things are weapons of legend. Who knows what crazy abilities they could provide, we just need to figure them out."

Well, he was definitely optimistic, but Motoyasu, and most likely his fellow heroes, weren't convinced. In his game, the shield class just pretty much sucked due to its low attack points. Since this world was based on Emerald Online, it was pretty much guaranteed Ben would be left in his and the other two's shadow.

"Ben-kun's right." Nanoha suddenly said, also standing up, "Even if the shield doesn't provide him with much means of attack doesn't mean it's useless. It has to have powerful abilities for it to be considered vital in protecting this planet. And knowing my cousin he can make the most of them."

"Oh Nanoha-chan, you are as kind as you are beautiful," Motoyasu said with a charming smile. Ben merely rolled his eyes, and Fate frowned.

"Oh, thank you," Nanoha said with a bright smile, which made Motoyasu's heart skip a beat. The spear hero then grabbed Nanoha's hand much to her surprise and to Fate's apparent irritation. The dark glare in her red eyes causing Ben, Ren, and Itsuki to grow concerned for the spear hero, especially the former.

"Oh Nanoha-chan, I'm sorry that both you and Fate-chan were dragged into this world that is now on the verge of danger," Motoyasu said sadly as he brought her hand up to his chest.

"I got dragged here as well dude," Ben deadpanned.

"But worry not," Motoyasu continued, ignoring the brown-haired man, once again flashing the girl a charming smile, "I'll swear to protect both you and Fate-chan."

"Oh brother," Ren muttered underneath his breath. The sword hero was pretty sure, that if the spear hero died before coming to this world, he had a pretty good idea as to how.

"Thank you Motoyasu-kun, but that's not necessary," Nanoha said simply, apparently not affected by the blond's flirting, before freeing her hand from his, "I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself. Not only that but I have Ben-kun and Fate-chan alongside me. The three of us together are able to overcome just about anything."

Motoyasu was surprised by this. He found it weird how Nanoha didn't seem to be charmed by him, after all, every cute girl he flirted with instantly fell for him. Not only that but she didn't seem to be all that bothered in having to fight.

"Really? Are you sure about this?" He asked, "You know you don't really have to right."

"But I want to," Nanoha said with a smile, "I want to be able to help people."

"The same can be said about me and Ben," Fate added as she stood up from her place on the couch, "none of us could just stand by and do nothing when people are in danger."

"That's right the three of us are a team and we work together to help those in need, with the powers we got," Ben finished with a confidant smile on his face.

To say that Ren and Itsuki were impressed by the three's resolve was an understatement, especially to Itsuki. The bow hero was now even more determined in his quest to deliver justice to this new world, especially when he was powerless and suffered back in his old world.

Motoyasu on the other hand was somewhat baffled. Yeah, he found it cute that both Nanoha and Fate were so determined to help others, but he couldn't help but worry. The waves were going to be dangerous. And considering that Ben would have little to no means of attack, that would mean that both Nanoha and Fate would have to fight in his place. Sure they said they wanted to help Ben fight the waves, but Motoyasu knew the both of them had to be putting on a brave face. He knew that girls didn't like to fight or get their hands dirty.

Before Motoyasu could press the issue again, Itsuki let out a yawn.

"Well in any case we should get some rest," the bow hero said a bit tiredly, "it's getting late."

Ren gave a nod, "Agree, we got a busy day tomorrow, so we need as much rest as possible before we head off on our adventure."

"Yeah, good idea," Ben said as he let out his own yawn, "Welp, see you guys tomorrow."

With that Ren, Itsuki, Ben, Nanoha, and Fate all began to leave for their own rooms. Before she exited the door, Nanoha looked toward the spear hero and gave him another smile.

"Good night, Motoyasu-kun," she said with a friendly wave.

"Night," he said with a wave of his own.

With that Nanoha exited the room, leaving the spear hero in his bedroom by himself.

He let out a sigh, he couldn't help but worry about both Nanoha and Fate. He just knew they were going to be miserable if they had to fight and get their pretty hands dirty.

Then again, the king did say that he was going to get people to party up with them. So there's a strong possibility that people would join up with them, and that way they wouldn't have to fight too hard.

'Yeah, that's what will happen,' Motoyasu thought to himself in reassurance, 'The adventurers that would join Ben's party tomorrow could handle all the fighting, and Nanoha and Fate won't have to fight in bloody battles.'

With that reassurance, the spear hero went to lay down on his luxurious bed and began to doze off into slumber.

That night, he dreamt about how he stood heroically over the corpses of monsters, wearing beautifully crafted armor, surrounded by countless beautiful women all cheering his name in adoration, Ren, Itsuki, and Ben looked up toward him from the background in envy, and most of all, Fate and Nanoha were affectionately embracing him, their generous assets pressing against him.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Suddenly Motoyasu heard laughter. Looking toward the source of the noise, Motoyasu saw an old man in regal-looking clothing, the right-half of his attire was dark purple while the left-side was bright orange. His well-kept white hair was brushed back, and his beard well-trimmed. The man sat upon a throne that was much larger than the king's and was floating in the air thanks to the wings on its sides. The weirdest thing about the throne was the fact that it looked like it was entirely made of cheese, swiss cheese to be precise. Even the wings were made out of swiss cheese!

Floating next to him was a small yellow-coated pony with wings, a pegasus most likely, that had a long pink mane and an equally long pink tail, and had markings that looked like a bunch of butterflies on its flanks. Motoyasu wasn't sure, but the pegasus looked not only perplexed but was looking at him with a bit of disapproval.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh man that is just too funny!" the elderly man exclaimed loudly, as he wiped a tear from his eye.

"W-what is?" Motoyasu asked confused, trying to keep his composure. Why was he dreaming about an old man sitting on a flying throne made of cheese?

"You boyo, the fact that you think you'll outshine a veteran like that alien laddie! He's a legend across the multiverse that one is, and I'm not just talking about his prime counterpart!" the Old man said with a smirk, which made Motoyasu nervous, "there's also the fact that you think you can win the hearts of those magical maidens. HA, you have better luck seducing a Vulpimancer with your personality!"

Motoyasu was overall confused by what this man was talking about, but he understood enough that he was being made fun of, IN HIS OWN DREAM OF ALL PLACES!

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" he cried out angrily. Dream or not, he wasn't going to let anyone make fun of him.

"Well that's the truth kiddo, you're going to be in alien boy's shadow whether you like it or not. And every attempt to try and outshine him is just going to lead to your embarrassment," the elderly man said calmly, the smirk never leaving his face, "Isn't that right Discord old buddy!?"

Suddenly the heads of Nanoha, Fate, Ben, Itsuki, Ren, and all of the adoring girls all began spinning around like tops. Once the spinning stopped, every head was replaced with that of a horse, each one having a deer antler on the right side of their heads, a blue goat horn on the left, one long fang, different-sized pupils, a goat beard, and white bushy eyebrows. The sudden transformation had completely shocked Motoyasu and was now beginning to freak out a bit.

"Oh, you are absolutely right Sheogorath," all of the horse heads said simultaneously, before every single one of them as well as the old man began laughing out loud.

Motoyasu was beginning to panic even more now, he didn't understand what was going on or why he was dreaming about all this. Heck, what was a freaking Vulpimancer in the first place?

The spear hero felt something tap his leg, looking down he saw the small pegasus looking up at him with an apologetic expression.

"Um, sorry about my friends," the pony said softly, its voice sounding similar to that of a young woman's, "I'm sure they don't mean to be-"

"AHHHHHHHHH!" surprisingly enough, the pegasus talking was the breaking point. Motoyasu let out a scream as he bolts upright in his bed, his face covered in sweat. The spear hero breaths deeply for a few minutes as he surveyed the room. He relaxed when he didn't see any ponies, horseheads with various animal additions, or cheese.

"Ugh, was it the food I ate?" Motoyasu muttered to himself as he brought a hand to his face.

There was a knock at the door, which startled him before it opened revealing it to just be one of the castle's maids.

"Is everything alright sir hero," she asked with concern.

"Y-yeah it's nothing," Motoyasu studdered for a bit, as he scratched the back of his head and gave a cheeky smile, "Just a bit energetic and all. You know with having to save the world and all that, hehe."

The maid smiled in relief, "I see, I can not blame you, sir hero. A sacred duty such as yours would-be quite nerve-racking. Is there anything I can do for you, sir hero?"

"No thanks, I'm good."

"Very well then," the maid said with a bow, "I hope you have a pleasant rest, sir hero."

With that, the maid exited the room, closing the door softly behind her. Motoyasu fell backward onto his bed. He let out a sigh.

"Yeah, it just got to be the nerves," Motoyasu muttered, before slamming a fist into his open palm as he let out a scoff, "Yeah right, what is there to worry about? It's just like Emerald online, I'm going to be the best hero there is and all the pretty girls are going to love me."

With that declaration, Motoyasu drifted back to sleep. Dreaming about anything not even remotely related to horses or cheese.

AN: ...I'll be honest, I wasn't originally planning on having beings of chaos invade the idiot's dream.

SHEOGORATH: It was either that, or you would have ended it with the little baby simp's perverted dream. I speak for everyone that no one would like to finish reading a chapter regarding that moron's delusions.

ROUGEDRAGON: True...and I'm not even going to question how you got in here…-_-

NEPTUNE: That and Sheogorath and Discord are old fan favorites, though neither of them are as popular as me!

SHEOGORATH: Don't push your luck girly.

ROUGEDRAGON:...Yeah, I better end this chapter before Deadpool gets here. Anyway, that dream sequence, that's one of the weird silly things I warned you guys about in the last chapter. Speaking of which, seriously I'm surprised at just how many of you favorited and as well are now following this crack-story. I'm not complaining at all, but it surprising especially since this story is not even something to take seriously in my opinion. Um, I wonder if there's anything else to address.

Deadpool and Whirl: Hey Guys!

ROUGEDRAGON: SEE YOU GUYS IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!
