Forged in Fire: Team

"I know you're there Zuzo."

Zuko recognized the humming lilt in Azula's voice from their childhood; his sister used that tone when she preyed on her victim of choice, which more often than not was him.

"I mean, how else could this little band of heroes of yours have infiltrated our hideout?"

"It's not my band of heroes," Zuko replied, knowing there was no use hiding from her. He formed a pair of daggers with his fire, stepping out knowing full well Azula constantly outmatched him in wielding the fire powers they were both born with.

Azula let out a laugh, before launching a volley of kicks in his direction which sent balls of flame in his direction. He quickly dodged while she called out to him. "Not your band of heroes? Are you really telling me you're not playing this game of heroes?"

"It's not a game." Zuko punched out, sending a stream of flame in his sisters' direction. "But then, you're the one who didn't put proper security measures into your hideout so it couldn't be infiltrated."

"Excuse me?" Azula kicked his stream of fire aside with ease, but sent her stream of flames out after him, not caring what she caught in the fire as she did so. "Did you not hear me Zuzu? We were infiltrated because you told them how."

"You forget..." Zuko danced out of the way of Azula's flames, but the way Azula moved felt predictable having sparred with Robin, Katara, and other members of the team of young superheroes that the Justice League put together. "I wasn't privy to information regarding this particular hideout."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Azula swung her fist so a fireball flew at him. It smashed into the wall instead, sending plaster cascading over him. "You're a part of our family's long linage. How could you not know?"

Zuko let out a sigh, dodging another attack and getting behind a pillar. "Because this hideout was built after I defected."

"You can't defect from family Zuzu," Azula purred, continuing to hunt him down. She loved the hunt, but Zuko never liked being hunted. Yet, he could by time. "You had to have the information, or are you telling me that the security measures we put into place were easy to get past, not to mention our location easy to detect."

Zuko almost laughed, but instead, he found himself dodging yet another flame. "Either you're underestimating your security, or you're underestimating the team."

He wasn't ready to call the team put together by the Justice League, particularly when his family constantly butted heads with Katara's family as they did, yet he did know that his sister greatly underestimated the team, specifically Robin. Azula's tone of voice changed, tightening with anger. "Are you kidding me? There is no way their team could have figured out a way in here."

It was then that an explosion, one Zuko expected resounded through the hideout. "I suggest learning not to underestimate the team."
