Getting up in the morning, she could hear her friends arguing about the issue with the food, "Maybe Voorhees took it." Cindy sneered, "Or maybe you two decided to throw it in the lake, you were both drunk out of your minds last night."
"Second that." Makayla lifted her mug of coffee, "But the sex was great!"
"Sure was!" Bradley put a hand to his head, "Helluva hangover, but worth it."
"I don't know dude…." Jacob groaned, "I feel like shit."
Sandra sneaked out, they didn't' know how on point they were about Jason stealing their food, and she thought it might be better that way. Silently starting the car, she drove down the road, hoping to get back before Lily got up. She hated leaving her alone….
Jason quietly watched her leave, and silently approached the cabin, knowing that it would be better for someone to be there with the little girl. Quietly entering the back door, he was surprised to find himself looking at her, shimmering blue eyes smiling at him. "I be quiet." She signed.
It surprised him, "You understand?"
"Sandie started teaching me early, will you play with me?"
"I suppose, I don't exactly know how to play…."
"Then I teach you!"
He gulped, and followed her, only to find himself sitting on a tiny chair as she served him a small cup of tea, her teddy sitting on the other side. Cautiously, he pulled his own out, and set it on the extra stool. "Name?"
"Lily." She said, "You're Jason."
He nodded, and did his best to be gentle, he wasn't exactly sure how to do this. But the silence was short-lasting as one of the two females waltzed in, oblivious to his presence as he pulled away, "Where's your sister?"
"Sandie went to the store." Lily's lip began to quiver, "Why did you come?"
"Look, your sister should have come and gotten us, we're short on food."
"But she's getting food…."
"Sure, she is. You know you're just like her," the woman raised her hand to strike the child, "just as much of a-"
He grinned under the mask as the woman's eyes filled with terror when he caught her wrist as she was swinging down. He could tell she wanted to bolt, but was frozen in place, realizing that she was in major trouble. With ease, he snapped her arm, the bone easily puncturing through the skin and her arm now bent the wrong way. Once he let go, she ran out of the cabin screaming, and he looked over to Lily. When she rushed over to his legs, gripping them tightly, he realized he didn't really have an option other than to take her back to his cabin, especially as it didn't seem safe for her here.
When she got back to the camp and saw her friends running around like maniacs, Sandra immediately knew something was wrong, and rushed to her cabin only to find that Lily was gone. Panicking she looked around the room, and found a note in her sister's handwriting,
BIG MAN TOOK ME TO HIS HOUSE.
She breathed a sigh of relief, having a sense of security as the note didn't look forced, and looked at the paper attached. It was a poorly drawn map, but one that she could understand. Gathering the groceries, she collected a day's worth of clothing before heading out. She knew she could always come back later.
