Relaxing in a warm bath, Sandra let her hair out of the ponytail, the blood red streaks revealing themselves. The changes had boosted her confidence, she felt stronger than she ever had before, and felt like she was really able to be herself. As she relaxed, her mind drifted to Jason, hey were almost in sync now. She wasn't sure about the feelings in her stomach, or if he felt the same, but she knew that at some point she would need to tell him. Getting out of the water, she pulled on the silk pajamas she'd brought with her to the camp, even though she didn't really sleep anymore, they were comfy. Stepping into the small area where the couch was, she sat next to him, and leaned on his shoulder. Suddenly, she felt him slip his arm around her waist, "Do you like me too?"
She could tell he was nervous, but he nodded, and pulled her into him. Even though he was undead, Sandra could feel a heartbeat, and put her hand on his chest. Despite his massive size, she felt comfortable in his arms, and wanted to stay like this for a while. Pulling up her knees, she snuggled into him, and was surprised as he lay to the side and decided to play the big spoon. Feeling her eyes grow heavy, she slipped into slumber.
Lily peeked out her door, and saw Sandie cuddling with Jason, sleeping peacefully. She was so excited; her sister wasn't having any more nightmares! Lily had seen Sandie have those nightmares, even though she'd tried to hide them, Jason had helped her. Thinking about it, Lily decided not to show her sister the journals she'd found, as they were Jason's, even though he'd allowed her to look through them. It wasn't hard to understand them, Lily was advanced for her age, she could read really well and do good math. Watching them, she hoped that Sandie would sleep like that, and went to the big room Pamela had shown her, "Pam Pam?"
Jason's mother appeared, the child had called her that, and she didn't mind. "Yes?"
"Can we set up this room for Jason and Sandie, I want them to have a soft bed like mine."
"Of course, we can." Pamela guided Lily and some of her animal friends to the empty cabins to collect what they needed, "How do you want to decorate it?"
"Sandie always liked the patters and flowers our Grammie always had, she was from Japan and our Grampie was from China."
Pamela frowned, those would be hard to find, but if she could lure the girls' parents here⦠"I have an idea, Lily; will you help me?"
Lily looked up, "What is it, Pam Pam?"
Pamela knelt down, her ghostly form waving, then began to whisper in the little girl's ear.
Sandra slowly opened her eyes and found that his arm was still wrapped around her, and he was sleeping. It was really the first time she'd seen him sleep, and was curious to see under the mask. Reaching up, she attempted to lift it, only for his eyes to snap open, "Sorry."
Jason blinked, debating whether to be angry, or if she had a right to know. The more he thought about it though, he realized it was the latter. Slowly taking off the mask, he looked into her eyes, but didn't see any sign of disgust or horror. Instead, he felt her hand stroke his cheek, and she smiled at him. "If you're afraid that I'm going to judge you for how you look, I've already seen past all of that Jason. You've taken care of us, that's enough for me, it doesn't matter what other people say."
She felt him pull her closer, who knew the mighty Jason Voorhees was a cuddler? Even though she didn't want this to end, they had a job to do, "So, now it's my turn, how about we pull some of the oldest tricks in the book?"
He raised an eyebrow, "That is?
She went over to her bag and pulled out a book, "Let me show you."
