The Dark Agent Valorheart

Chapter Four

It was the same damn dream. In the dream, she was on the medical berth at the laboratory warehouse. 6 months ago before she was kidnapped by the Decepticons and was still very fresh in her mind. A big white light above her. Her wrist tied down so was her legs. Familiar voices loomed over her. Many hands strapped her down firmly on her arm. She was desperate to pull off the chain that trapped her there.

"I told you we should have sedate her."

"No. I want her to watch."

Victoria felt a sharp electrocution shot through her body. She cringed in pain. She tried to screaming. All she could do was jerk upwards and twisted her chains painfully. She shut her eyes tightly and allowed her shock to ebbed away. She panted through the mask that was on her. Her voice and the screamed muffled through. Her face twisted in pain. She gagged uncomfortably.

"I suggest you don't try to move, Agent Valorheart because every time you do you get a little jolt. That was quite the intel you stole."

Victoria realised the voice belonged to a colleague of hers: Agent James Savoy. Her eyes widened in shocked. Then, he slowly pulled off her mask until she spat in his face. Savoy slapped her hard on her face with his hand in returned. Then, the female agent let out a horrid scream when another jolt of electrocution send through her body.

"I told you before, Valorheart. I would always find you." Savoy whispered dangerously in her ear.

"I would never talk!" Victoria gasped. She clenched her teeth when she felt his knife suddenly stabbed through her shoulder, causing blood to trickle down her face. Savoy laughed in her ear.

James sighed. "I figured you would say that." Without so much of a warning, the male agent took a knife and stabbed her on the shoulder, causing her to cry out in pain. When her mouth is open, he kissed her very roughly on the lips and his hands...his hands snake up around her legs, slipped under her shirt, and wander right over to her nipple delicately. That moment, Victoria used all her force and bit him hard on the lip, causing him to yell out. She even head butt him as strong as she can.

Savoy stumbled backwards. Victoria smirked. There was no way in hell she was going to sell out Team Prime and she rather be tortured by the Cemetry Wind.

"Hit the damn switch!" The male agent demanded. He wiped away his now bleeding lips with the back of his hand.

There was another electrocution shock that went through her body. Victoria jerk upwards for the second time and clutched onto the chains that held her down. The agony was burning her like fire. This time there was a shrilling scream that filled through the room. Victoria knew this tactic all too well. She knew what was coming next. She knew who the second voice belong to: her ex- husband, Silas.

"I always told you the best way to lead us to Team Prime is installing the tracker in her skin." She heard Silas telling Savoy quietly.

Victoria's eyes widened in shocked. That was what they wanted her to watched: to operate on her. "Bring Dr Welsh over here!" Her heart race rapidly. She let out an involuntarily gasped.

"Silas..." Victoria spoke in a feeble voice.

"You are nothing but a business, my dear Victoria. No hard feelings."

Victoria glared at her husband. How could he sell her to the Cemetry Wind? She was distracted when an unwilling Dr Kyrie Welsh came into her view. There was an apologetic look in her eyes. Victoria gaped at her. She wanted so much to hold her best friend's hand. She too was sobbing. When Dr Kyrie Welsh pushed her forward to the ex CIA agent, Victoria gave an involuntarily gasped at the sight of Kyrie. Clearly, in her veins was full blown Energon, not even human blood. She wasn't exactly human anymore. There was a look of regret and fear in her eyes.

Close to, Victoria realised Dr Kyrie Welsh just became a half human Cybertronian completely. Dr Welsh almost fall onto her long time best friend since high school. Victoria was desperate to help her long time friend. She was restrained on her berth bed and couldn't even helped her balanced her. She wanted so much to assure her they will get out of there alive that Victoria is willing to do anything but to save those she dears. Victoria noted the Cybertronian parts that was her arm and she felt very sick to her stomach what she had found out at the laboratory warehouse.

Out of everyone her best friend was taken in for illegal experimentation. She couldn't believe her eyes and one day, she was going to bring Kyrie justice. Victoria knew her personally. The doctor was extremely good with science and health units to the point she even got scholarship to attend the highest university. Like Victoria, Kyrie Welsh very much worked with the CIA company. She was the doctor for the CIA division agency. Kyrie looked apologetically at her best friend. She even looked ready to passed out at what she was about to do to Victoria.

"I'm so sorry." Kyrie said in a shaky voice.

Her voice was hoarse and her hands was shaking horribly. Victoria wanted to grabbed her and hold her close to her chest. The damn chains she wanted to desperately break. At this sight, Victoria was slapped hard across the cheek for the third time. That was when Dr Welsh actually gripped his wrist and yelled at him frantically to the point she was shoved against the floor violently.

Victoria felt her cheeks was beginning to be bruise. Shit that's going to be a lot of explaining to Optimus and her guardian will be so pissed when she sees the Autobot leader next time. She hoped that wouldn't show too much bruising on her cheeks later when she get out of this hell hole. She knew how protective he can be over her and he was best at his job not just as guardian but a bloody damn leader.

She will never sell the Autobots out to MECH at all no matter how many times Savoy try to draw out the answers he wants. They should know she was a long time CIA just like she was. She knew all of it will be worth it in the end, even if that means she will suffer from their wraith longer. She was well trained for it and knew would be worth her allegiance to the Autobots. She knew, deep down, she felt they were her family in her heart. The real family she felt for a very long time. They made her feel like she was truly home other than the NEST military team. It's also been a long time since she became true to herself too.

Victoria was pulled back from reality and felt her cheeks stung from the slap that Savoy gave her. Hell, she was never going to give up at all. Never. Victoria can be a very persistent lady not to mention being a hot headed woman at the same time. She simply didn't care at her former colleagues whom had flirted with her in the past. She wasn't dumb enough to fall for that bullshit nor had she ever looked at them that way like she had to Optimus many times at the base when she first laid her eyes on him and couldn't explain her feelings not to mentioned dodging away from the Prime because she got too nervous. Her heart flurried and her stomach churned at the sudden sensation a year ago before accepting them very reluctantly.

Her memories with Optimus was the reason that kept her sane while she was being tortured by the Cemetry Wind. Her mind somewhat went to the time Optimus and her first spoke to each other formally and a hint of more than friends to one another. Victoria somehow managed to blocked the current reality each time she was electrocuted. Kyrie was actually clinging onto Savoy's arms and looked desperately at him.

"Please! I will do anything!" Kyrie pleaded him.

"Oh and you will do something for us. Put this tracker and make sure they wouldn't be able to get it out." Savoy instructed her darkly.

Kyrie nodded repeatedly. She took the tracker from Savoy and went to Victoria. Then kissed her on her forehead. "I'm so sorry Victoria. I'm so sorry." She rested her head on her chest for awhile.

Victoria merely closed her own eyes at her touch and accepted her comfort. She felt her shook. Kyrie was going to sedate her with a needle to spare her friend's pain. That was when Victoria's husband stopped her. His face loomed over her. Victoria gripped the chains around her wrist. She glared at her so called husband before her and couldn't believed that out of all people that he would sell her out like this to MECH. When her husband tried to kiss her again on the lips, this time, Victoria dejected her love towards him and bite his lips before spitting at him harshly only to earn a first slap from her soon to be ex husband.

"If you think I will ever be done with you, my dearest wife, I promise you this will be the last of it." Silas gave her a sadistic smile and walked away from the female agent. "Understand this, my dear Kyrie. I want her to watch the whole procedure and I promise you, I won't even hesitate to send my own wife in pieces back to the Prime."

Victoria watched her own husband actually landed a kissed on Kyrie's lips. Kyrie's eyes widened in shocked and pushed him away immediately only to make Silas held her very firmly. The female agent before the doctor knew that she didn't exactly understand what was really going on in her best friend's life nor the ploy Silas was doing to the both of them. Silas kissed Kyrie for awhile before he gripped her throat roughly with his hand. Kyrie struggled to breathe and tried to prise his gripped off her throat.

"Let her go!" Victoria shouted on top of her voice. "Let Kyrie go! I will do it! I will do it!" She yelled out, panicking for Kyrie's life at this stage.

Silas smirked evilly at Victoria. He crouched down to her height. "Do you consent the surgery?"

"Yes." Victoria agreed firmly. "Please. Spare her. Spare Kyrie. Let her go. Please." She begged him imploringly the same way Kyrie did.

"All right. Understand this, if one of you escape, I will kill Kyrie instantly. If she escape, I will kill you and send your body back to your guardian. Do I make myself clear?" Silas whispered in her ears dangerously.

"Perfectly clear." Victoria gasped.

She wondered how he knew Optimus was her guardian. That was supposed to be a secret! Have her own husband been stalking her privately? She wouldn't put passed him by the look of things. Silas grinned in a way that made Victoria's stomach lurched uncomfortably.

"Good girl. May I get a kissed from my wife?" Silas sneered. He placed his hand on her thigh and smooth near her private area making Victoria hesitated and blocked his access. "Don't forget because I can easily end her life right now." He actually took out his gun and pointed at her best friend.

Kyrie had tears poured down her face silently and she placed her hands over her mouth while Savoy gripped her hair very roughly. Victoria reluctantly replied and allowed Silas to kissed her softly on her lips in a seductive sick way. Light kisses was pressed on the lips. She was actually forced to looked up to him and he even pointed his own gun at her throat. Victoria quickly complied and kissed him unwillingly. This time, she wouldn't bite him because Kyrie's life was threatened. At least, Kyrie and Victoria had each other.

"That's my beautiful wife. My good girl." Silas gave a false praised to Victoria and lightly smooth her hair with his hand. The leader of MECH stood back up then turned to Kyrie. "Now you may proceed." He tap his fingers on his own gun and stood right next to Savoy.

Victoria saw Savoy whispered in Silas ears. There was nothing more she wouldn't wished but to put a bullet in the both of them without hesitation right now. She was glad to see Kyrie was close even though she was forced to put the tracking device on her neck. Kyrie gave her a small smile and thankfully her back was on the two men behind her so they wouldn't see her console her quietly. The female doctor put her gloves on. Victoria nodded at her and felt her hand on her shoulder lightly.

There was a look of regret in her eyes. Kyrie focus the thread into the needle, tied to a knot. The moment she began to operate Victoria, this, hurt her more than electrocution. Her toes curled and she writhe in her berth while the tracker was sewn into her neck. She felt each needle was tightly sewn into her skin and her tears foamed her eyes which flood down her face. God. This was beyond pain than Victoria ever experienced. In the beginning of the horrid surgery, Victoria closed her eyes and when the pain stung her like a hot larva that course through her very veins, she let out a defeating screams and gripped tightly on the chains.

Apparently her screams was music to the men's ear. Despite the fact that Kyrie tried to be gentle, the needle was actually hell on her neck and the bleeding poured endlessly. Victoria was beginning to feel very light headed and she whimpered even more before she let out a sobbed giving an immense satisfaction to the mad scientist as well as a mad male field agent that looked positively gleeful. A painful moan escaped from her lips and tears flood down freely. That was when Victoria actually passed out completely from the blood loss.

Wheeljack heard her pain. He watched her expression twisted in agony. Whimpers escaped from her lips and her blanket tangled. Victoria shrieked in her sleep. Words escaped that made Wheeljack return back to her room. He didn't want her to be alone. He witnessed everything that pains his spark. He knew her nightmare was hugely in relation to her past.

He heard names, her cries and the fact she fought his grip with her eyes shut when he was determined to wake her up, screaming on top of her lungs told him she needed somebody with her. Now he understood why she ran away from Optimus quarters. It was what kept her awake. It wasn't the first time he witnessed her screams. He heard it when she fell asleep on the Jackhammer. Tonight was the time to confront her what Optimus wanted to know and left him in charge.

Wheeljack was sympathetic with Victoria. It kills him on the inside she was suffering from her past and there was a lot more to what he didn't knew about her early life as a CIA division former agent. He never gave up even when she pushed him, tilting her head from left to right. He knew. He knew she was terrified out of her mind and realised how alike they were. They were like the ultimate Lone Wolf in unity.

And now, Wheeljack really understood why Optimus was worried. He wished the big boss was here. If anything, Wheeljack realised that Victoria does need him more than she needed Wheeljack. In a way, the Wrecker was pissed with Optimus for leaving at the wrong time when she really needed a shoulder and needed him, not Wheeljack. That was what the Wrecker soldier really felt.

Her dreams was what made Wheeljack scared for her. He wasn't scared of her. He was scared for her. Wheeljack realised she must have endured long hours of torture through hell and back. Her screams said it all. Wheeljack held her firmly. He didn't even budge when Victoria screamed or even fought against his grip unknowingly at him. All he cared was waking her the hell out of her disturbed dream.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH! AAAAAAHHH!"

"Vic. Wake up. You got to wake up!"

"Stop - stop - stop! I'll do anything. Let her go. Please, let Kyrie go!" Victoria pleaded with her eyes tightly shut. "I'll do anything!" She whimpered with much fear. "Stop. Please, stop! You can do anything to me. Let her go!"

"Vic. You need to wake up. You're not there anymore. You're home. Agent Valorheart!" Wheeljack urged her and shook her gently.

"Stop. Stop. Stop!" Victoria chanted in fear. "Leave her alone! Leave her alone! Stop! Take me instead. Please, let my friend go! Take me instead! Stop. Stop. Stop! I'll do anything!" She pleaded fearfully. She let out another defeating scream. "AAAAAAAHHHH! STOP!"

Victoria screamed on top of her lungs. She woke up with a start and bolted upright. She let out a gasped and cried in panic. Wheeljack instantly pulled her to a warm hug. She sobbed uncontrollably. She was shaking from head to foot. Wheeljack simply combed her hair with his fingers and held her firmly. He rock her sideways while she cling onto his shirt.

"W-Wheeljack." She stammered fearfully. "Oh God." Victoria panted and shut her eyes tightly. Her own heart was racing rapidly. She was so certain that her heart beat will be heard. The former agent whimpered against his chest and curled up.

"Sshh. Sssh. Sshh. I got you, Vic. You're not there anymore. You're home. I got you. It's all right." Wheeljack smooth her back with his hand.

"I'm so sorry." Victoria cried out with a wailing sob uncontrollably. She even tried to suppressed her sob but still escaped her lips. Her tears flood down like a river. "I'm so sorry, Wheeljack." She wasn't even sure what she was saying and felt she was still in her own nightmare.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. You don't have to apologise to me." Wheeljack assured her relief to see her awake than being trap in her own nightmare that was just as bad as not having a peaceful sleep.

Victoria panted heavily. She felt as though she had just done a run. Instead, a mild panic attack she was experiencing instead. She felt a burning pain across her stomach. She looked down only to find the Dark Energon leaked through her whole t-shirt. She bit back her crying instantly.

She was feeling very light headed. Now, seeing double vision and feeling groggy. She panted heavily and allowed her own tears to fall down. She looked down at her own wound. Wheeljack looked at where she was concerned about. Victoria swung her legs over her bed. Her wound was no longer leaking with human blood. But Dark Energon.

"Hey. Hey. Hey. Slow down." Wheeljack urged her. His voice filled with worry. "Where are you going? You know you can't walk."

Victoria felt her own anxiety and panic attack rising in her chest. She wanted a change of scenery. "I'm o-okay. I just want to get out of here for awhile."

"All right kid. The Jackhammer airship?" Wheeljack guessed. Victoria nodded.

"Yeah. I always go there whenever I wake up. Sorry. I didn't mean to invade your personal space." Victoria told him genuinely.

"Like I told you before Vic, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry about. If it helps you, then I am willing to take you there. Are you experiencing a panic attack?" Wheeljack frowned and carried her in his arms in bridal style once more.

"I don't know..." Victoria admitted. "It's been awhile like this whenever I wake up. I haven't given much thought on it. Maybe." She told him truthfully.

Wheeljack leaded her to his Jackhammer airship. He set her down on the passenger seat. "I'll be back to get the stuff from the room." He kissed her on the head and smooth her back.

"Thank you." Victoria smiled at him.

She watched him leave his own airship. Wheeljack didn't take long to come back. Her own heart beat slowed down a lot more. Victoria wondered if she experienced both: adrenaline and panic attack. She didn't moved or anything but she was still in bad shape. Victoria lied down where she was comfortably and felt a wave of calmness over her. Wheeljack came back with a blanket, pillow and a tub of items that was from Optimus's quarters.

Wheeljack was in his Autobot form. He gently set her pillow and put the blanket over her and sat down on the pilot sit. He had a couple of bandages roll in his hand.

He appeared back in his human holoform and sat down closely next to her. Victoria sat up and leaned on the passenger seat. She had no intention to go back to sleep no matter how tired she is.

"Let me change the bandage."

"But, you just changed it earlier."

"I know I did. You're still leaking with Dark Energon. Don't argue with me, sis." He glared at her sharply.

Victoria smiled weakly at him. She placed her hand over his wrist. "I will argue with you for good reason. That was a few hours ago you'd changed me, Wheeljack. I can take care of myself just fine and will you quit looking like that to me please?"

"You can't walk on your own that's for certain. You're not going to tell me that's normal of Dark Energon. I'm taking you to Ratchet." Wheeljack was shocked.

"Please, Wheeljack. I want to stay for a little longer and there's a couple of people I want to see. You know I don't have time on my hands. I know you want Ratchet to sew up my wound. Will it really helped?" Victoria pointed out reasonably.

"Who did you want to see?" Wheeljack frowned. "If you don't want me to take you to Ratchet then let me fix your bandage up. You're leaking pretty damn good. We made a deal before remember?"

"I know we did. I have no intention to go back to sleep and I have no intention to go back to the medbay. I'm really sorry what you saw before you weren't supposed to know any of it. Was it you trying to wake me up before?" she appreciated it.

Wheeljack nodded. "I was trying to wake you up. I knew for awhile now. You were having another nightmare. I thought I give you privacy and was looking for the right time to talk to you about it. Let me change the bandage for you. Please."

"All right...I was hoping no one ever knows..." Victoria sighed and looked apologetically at him. She leaned against his shoulders tiredly. "I thought you left."

"Stop apologising, Vic. You're apologising for no reason. You can't hide it from everyone for long either. You know that." Wheeljack said as a matter of fact. He placed his hands on her cheeks gently. "I got to ask too. How long have you been having these nightmares, Vic?" He looked very concerned.

Victoria smiled at him knowingly. "I don't know... since my career with the CIA division agency. I thought I was getting better. Ratchet suggested me to take medication pills." She shrugged her shoulders about it.

"Why are you against to take medication pills?" Wheeljack frowned at her. "Am I supposed to know something else, sis? If anyone knew the medication jargon, is Ratchet."

Victoria opened her mouth and closed it again. She rather take the past deeper to the grave and at the same time she wanted to give him the truth. The red head female gazed at the floor. Wheeljack lifted her chin up with his finger. He could tell she really didn't want to opened up about something else and felt it was more than her own past that haunted her. He saw fear in her eyes and her eyes brimmed with tears.

"You know how I don't like to tell Optimus that would worry him?" Victoria said in a troubled tone. She looked very distracted and less focus while she gazed at his own metal digits. "A part of me wanted to take the secret to the grave. But I couldn't lie to you even if I wanted to..."

"You can talk to me anytime you want but when you are ready." Wheeljack looked concerned. Victoria leaned against his shoulders. She let him take her hand that shook on its own.

Victoria pondered a full minute. "I was used to waking up everyday like this. A lot of times I wished to wake up alone so that no one can hear me like this or see me like that. Sometimes I don't even know what was happening. I'm sorry if I did end up hitting you by accident. I was glad you did wake me up." She said appreciatively.

Wheeljack sighed in returned. He rested his head on hers and held her close. "Trust me, you barely even hit me. All I cared about was waking the hell up. I'm sorry if I did pry and I know you have your own reason."

"It's okay, Wheeljack, really. You're just doing your job. You have nothing to be sorry about. I know you deserved the right to know. Anyway..." Victoria paused lightly and looked thoughtfully on her own explanation. She continued, "The CIA division agency trained me for the person I am and those that failed them let's just say is more than just medication pill. They weren't the only one they gave me."

"Silas." Wheeljack understood. There was no need for her to say anymore.

"When I lied to them I was given a truth pill...and I was slipped with more than just a drug pill...and I was given sex pill telling me was for pain medication like headache pills or sleeping pills...it wasn't just Silas but other colleagues of mine too..." Victoria said reluctantly to tell Wheeljack the last part.

"Agent James Savoy?" Wheeljack said disapprovingly.

Victoria didn't answer immediately. She was shocked he had encountered with him.

"You met him didn't you?" She was surprised. "What did he say?"

"I did..." Wheeljack agreed curtly. "I like nothing more than to put a grenade in his filthy mouth of his."

"Wheeljack. What did he say?" Victoria had a feeling her ex colleague mentioned her past to Wheeljack very vaguely that caused her brother to riled up like this.

"There's nothing to worry about and you shouldn't be concerned about what he says." Wheeljack shot back fairly. He turned away.

"Oh I am because I know Savoy better than anyone because I worked with him for 12 years. I know he said something that really pissed you off and I know he didn't do it without a reason. It's his way to send a message to me." Victoria told him and she placed a consoling hand on his chest. "Wheeljack, please."

"He hinted about your past and more than just a past. I figured in a way you were cornered by Silas and Savoy at the same time when you told me what happened. Are you going to make me say it?" Wheeljack looked more than pissed off not at her but at those that accused her greatly.

"Wheeljack. I would know anyway. I'm used to it and I'm very fine. Yes, I'm making you say it because is not the first time they call me names." Victoria smiled and watched Wheeljack rested his elbows on his kneecaps. Then clasped his hands together like a prayer.

"I honestly didn't want to tell you this...but I'm not going to lie to you. Savoy called you a whore and a slut." Wheeljack closed his eyes. "He mentioned your past. He did gloat about it to me. He told me he had a great fuck with you and he told me not just Silas..." he said apologetically. He bowed his head.

"You knew for awhile Silas raped me?" Victoria asked quietly. She never knew Savoy would be vindictive.

Wheeljack nodded. "I knew unintentionally. I didn't mean to make you tell me."

"It's all right, Wheeljack." Victoria hugged him tightly. Her eyes poured down with much tears. "It's all right. I'm still breathing. I love you bro. Like I told you, I'm very use to what he'd told me many times." This time, she kissed him on his forehead.

"You don't have to tell me..." Wheeljack held her hand in his own. "Because I know deep down you haven't been fine for awhile and I was making sure to tell you on the right time. The last thing I want is for you to be pushed away... there is no way in hell I would let you walk on your own like this."

"Please... don't tell Ratchet. I promised I will tell Optimus on the right time. I don't want so many people to know what happened to me." Victoria explained.

"All right, Vic." Wheeljack gave her a small smile. "I'm sorry you went through that. I wished what he said wasn't true at all."

"Unfortunately it is true, Wheeljack. He wasn't lying. Savoy wants to be proud about the damage he inflicted upon me and told me that I will never be an agent or any teams ever again." Victoria told him.

"You mentioned you wanted to see somebody?" Wheeljack asked and started to changed her bandage carefully. "Let me change the bandage. Please."

"...Okay...I wanted to see Kyrie." Victoria nodded in agreement. "I wanted to see how she was coping after we were operated. You know, the tracker."

"Remember, Ratchet removed the tracker and you don't have to worry about it ever again. You still got a long way of road to recovery. Your wound is still deep."

"How is she?" Victoria wanted to know. "How's Kyrie?"

"You want to tell me why you were banned from seeing her in the first place?" Wheeljack raised his eyebrows at her curiously.

Victoria nodded at him. She remembered Optimus promised when he said he will give her a doctor and that doctor turned out to be Ratchet. Apparently he knows much about human biology and studied thoroughly during his time on Earth. Of course Ratchet operated on her and not Dr Kyrie Welsh because the three of them: her best friend, Dreadwing and herself had the damn tracker installed onto their necks like a switch that can be pulled. She looked very distracted.

"Sorry. It's just a force of habit."

"It's fine. I just don't want you to do anything reckless. Talk to me, Vic. Why were you banned from seeing Kyrie in the first place?"

"You didn't know?" asked Victoria, confused. She looked surprised at him

"No. I didn't know. I came late, remember? I was on protective details assignment on Tessa Yeager. Optimus send me to retrieve her. Thanks to your warning. My mission was to extract her out before any of the agents can arrest her." Wheeljack nodded at her.

"It's really not Kyrie's fault. She couldn't control it. She was the one responsible to operate on all the soldiers on the NEST team. My mission was to turn her in. I knew who was responsible for the kidnapping of my mentor. I was banned because she hurt me with her power and Dreadwing found me unconscious when he saw me sneak into visit her." Victoria informed him.

"What do you mean she couldn't control it?" Wheeljack asked sharply. He looked perplexed and was stunned at what she just told him.

"I – I d-don't know what Silas did to her, Wheeljack. Kyrie told me she's no longer human anymore. She's half-Human-Cybertronian. She ended up blasting me and Dreadwing back with her power. I think she can do time power. It wasn't the first time either. We don't know what it is. Dreadwing saved my life, twice. He protected me when Kyrie was out of control." Victoria continued. Her voice, breaking.

"And your injuries was from her powers?" Wheeljack was shocked. He examined her injuries and noted it was healing very slowly than it meant to be not to mentioned the Dark Energon that was on her. "It still doesn't explained where the Dark Energon came from."

Victoria nodded. She didn't mind him examining her when he tilted her head gently and noticed the burns on her skin. "Yeah. I wasn't the only one that got injured. Kyrie too. I was banned from seeing her because of what she did. Dreadwing told Optimus what happened. Then Optimus banned me from seeing Kyrie. He said it was for my own safety."

"Give me your reason, Vic. I may be able to change their minds. Maybe in a different communication than face to face." Wheeljack offered to her supportively.

"That would be enough." Victoria told him gratefully. "I just want to talk to Kyrie one last time. You know the last time we spoke with each other was when we were room mates. We grew up with each other. Me, Kyrie and Will were all in the same neighbourhood together. Kyrie became my room mate...I just feel so guilty when I learn she was my mission... I was supposed to turn her in and then come home..."

"You want to make amends with her." Wheeljack nodded gently at her. "I'll do what I can for you. No promises. I'll speak to Optimus and Dreadwing, personally."

"Can you speak to Dreadwing first?" Victoria requested openly in a timid voice. Wheeljack looked confused and even curious at her request. "I know you hate him. He actually banned me from seeing Kyrie."

"Why?" Wheeljack asked suspiciously. He frowned. This piqued his interest.

"Because I wouldn't wake up for a couple of hours and he sent me to the medbay after Kyrie knocked me out with her powers. Dreadwing actually caught me sneaking into see Kyrie and he got really mad at me when he saw I was in contact with her face to face. It was actually the time he was just getting his tracker out." Said Victoria apologetically to him.

Wheeljack sighed. "Fine. I'll talk to him just for you."

"Wheeljack, I know how you feel about Dreadwing. He's not like other Decepticons and is different from the rest. He saved my life, twice. I know what he done to you, to your best friend, Seaspray." Said Victoria knowingly.

"How do you know about Seaspray?" Wheeljack frowned about his past. "Who told you about that?" He asked, a little defensively. It was clear he didn't want to talked about the past just like Victoria didn't.

"No one told me anything." Victoria said softly to him. She gently held onto his hand. "I told you before I haven't feel being human for awhile. I told you before I have been seeing a lot that didn't make sense to me and it's not always my nightmares."

Wheeljack let go of her hand gently. "Is that why you wander around the base frequently because of the nightmares?"

Victoria nodded. "Wheeljack. I need a favour...I need to see Kyrie. I know I'm banned from seeing her."

"Okay." Wheeljack frowned at her request. "What's going on, Vic?"

"I'll tell you everything that happened, included my dream." Victoria promised.

"If you don't mind me asking, was that who you were dreaming about? It's just that you were screaming out her name a fair few times." Wheeljack asked fairly.

"I was...I thought I was back at the warehouse and Kyrie was force to operate on me. If she didn't, Silas was going to kill her immediately. Dreadwing and I found out, she was experimented and found out she does have some kind of super power. Silas and Savoy didn't hesitate to keep me awake and didn't sedate me when I was operated...thank you for waking me..." Victoria said gratefully. "Thank you for waking me."

Wheeljack merely nodded. He smooth her back gently. "Anytime, Vic." He crossed the room and took the water bottle that was in the box. "Hey Vic. The water bottle is there. Ratchet decided to prep a few for you earlier when you got out of surgery. I forgot to tell you. Are you up for a drink? How are you feeling by the way?" He asked seriously.

"Overwhelmed." Victoria admitted to him. "I thought my nightmares will get better." She sighed and looked troubled.

"And it will get better. You can't expect the nightmares to get cure like magic. Nightmares doesn't instantly go away overnight, sis." Wheeljack told her. "It takes years for a nightmare to improve and your nightmare will improved. Vic, you'd been through a lot and you got to stop beating yourself up for nothing."

He took one and passed it to her. Victoria accepted the water bottle gratefully and she drank a great deal until it was completely empty. Wheeljack smiled in answer. The good news was at least she didn't throw up like she did few days ago. Probably because of the anaesthesia injection that made her really sick after she came out from her surgery.

"I definitely needed that." Victoria hiccoughed for drinking too fast in one go. "Can I have another?"

"Yeah sure. According to Ratchet, he said you could be dehydrated." Wheeljack informed her.

Wheeljack nodded and passed the second bottle to her. While she drank, Wheeljack finally was able to changed her bandage one more time. He had been distracted throughout the entire conversation but at least on the plus side she opened up more than usual. Then shuffled for a new t-shirt that was kept in the box he took from Optimus's quarters.

He turned away while Victoria took off her t-shirt. There was a deep scar on her very back that was in courtesy not just from the CIA and the Cemetery Wind but also the warlord himself. There were many countless bruises on her back. At least the Autobot soldier showed courtesy in also closing the windows to make sure she had her own privacy when she changed.

"I'm done." Victoria announced cheerfully to him. "I'm a little light headed and still tired. I feel I also owe you an explanation. I'm sorry if I scared you."

Wheeljack shook his head. "You didn't scare me. I was worried for you and so was Optimus. He told me to keep an eye on you and told me you were experiencing some nightmares. I wasn't scared but I was scared for you. Like I told you, I was waiting for the right opportunity to talk to you about it." He admitted.

"I always told Optimus I prefer to sleep on my own. That's how we also got together. Funnily enough. It was Will and Optimus that pushed me to either of them. I already told them I wanted to sleep on my own. I was also sick of them nagging me because they both offered to stay with me." Victoria chuckled and shook her head.

"Can you blame them for worrying about you?" Wheeljack asked fairly. "After everything you went through."

Wheeljack suddenly understood why Optimus reacted the last time he spoke with him. Optimus was terrified for his girl. That's what Wheeljack realised. He never heard the leader scared before. He was scared for her life. Victoria shook her head in agreement.

"I just needed space big time from them. They were kind of driving me mad but doesn't mean I didn't love them both." Victoria shrugged her shoulders.

"So that's why you hid on the Jackhammer airship?" Wheeljack wondered casually.

Victoria nodded and looked apologetically at him. "Yeah...sorry."

Wheeljack waved her apology aside. He placed a consoling hand on her shoulder. "We all need our own space. Don't be sorry." He assured her.

"I did needed time to think. Somehow I always feel at peace at your Jackhammer airship. I haven't felt peace for a very long time or listen to the sound of quietness and less violence. I think even my heart was tired of violence too and yearned for peace more. I also needed a change of scenery because I was running away from my own nightmares. I didn't want my nightmares to wake anyone up."

"Hey..." Wheeljack lifted her chin lightly with his finger. "You're not a burden to anyone. I don't want you to feel like you have to handle on your own."

"How come you didn't know I was banned to see Kyrie or better question, where were you if you don't know what was going on?" Victoria was confused.

"I was on a protective detail assignment when you send the alert to everyone on Team Prime. I was at Tessa Yeager's university and went to pick her up." Wheeljack looked very annoyed. There was a mixture of emotions in his blue optics and there was hurt too.

Victoria frowned curiously. "So that was when you met Savoy. Something happened... didn't it?"

Wheeljack held her hand back. "I want you to understand something, Vic." He sighed and closed her hands with his other free one. "Please. Don't ever blame yourself for what had happened. If you didn't resigned, if you didn't go rogue, if you didn't send us that warning to everyone...we would never be able to hide where we are now..."

"I promised I won't. Tell me what happened, Wheeljack and you need to tell me if Agent Savoy is involved. I'll return the favour in kind with a bullet." Victoria guessed fairly. Victoria grasped his hands firmly and freed herself from his hold. Surprisingly to Wheeljack, she hugged him very tightly and leaned on his chest.

"How the hell did you know it was Agent Savoy?" Wheeljack looked taken aback and was impressed at her knowledge. "And I won't let you near that bastard." He added protectively. "No way in hell, Vic. You hear me?" He warned her.

"I told you before even if you didn't tell me I would know everything that happened..." Victoria reminded him persuasively. "I already told you about my nightmare."

Wheeljack groaned and face palm. "That still didn't answer my question how you knew Savoy is involved."

Victoria smiled at him and looked very contented right now. She lied on his thighs comfortably. "I been able to see and hear voices for awhile now since I touched the Prime's relic. I don't think I ever been human for a long time nor have I felt normal for a very long time." She confessed to Wheeljack.

Wheeljack gave her a look and ignored her last comment. "Yes you are human, Vic. You're more human than anyone put together."

"No. That's not what I meant, Wheeljack." Victoria chuckled. She clasped her hand gently on his wrist and looked imploringly at him. "I know I'm human at heart and it took me awhile what Kyrie meant the last time she spoke to me. That's why I wanted to see her. I'm just afraid that I don't have the time and regret that I would never tell her what I need to tell her."

"If you don't mind me asking, who is she to you?" Wheeljack asked kindly.

"She's my childhood best friend just like my mentor, William Lennox. I considered her family." Victoria explained. "Look. What I meant earlier was...I don't feel human lately because I haven't been able to eat properly and since I touched the Prime's relic."

"I hate to asked you this, Vic. Were you tortured?" Wheeljack frowned.

Victoria nodded in answer. "How much did you know?"

"You're not alone, Vic. I don't care what Savoy told you. I don't care what that fucker told me." Wheeljack said simply in a protective manner. "I told you before I don't want you to close off from anyone. I told you before, I would feed a grenade into his mouth for what he done to you. What matters to me most is you being just you and you're more human than the whole CIA division put together."

Victoria nodded. "Thank you, Wheeljack. Why didn't you say anything earlier if you knew it all included about the rape and the nightmare?"

"I thought that was obvious, Vic. I wasn't sure how you would react. I was waiting for the right time to talk to you about it. I also figured to give you space because I figured it was rather personal." Wheeljack said fairly and noted she was still scared to talked about it.

"It is very personal. My nightmares had been going on for years." Victoria agreed with him and looked guilty. Her voice shook with much fear. Her tears rolled down automatically. "I didn't want anyone to know about my own personal business because I was use to handling everything myself."

"Hey. Hey. Hey." Wheeljack said sharply to her. "You don't have to handle everything by yourself. You have people that cared about you very much, especially Optimus. I know he loves you very much because the last time I spoke with him I never heard him sounded scared for you."

"What did he talk to you about?" Victoria looked surprised.

Wheeljack sighed. "He talked about you expecting to experience more nightmares due to the recent events, then asked me to monitor your progress. I already promised you I'm not keeping any secrets from you."

Victoria felt very bad right now. She knew where this was all heading and then realised Optimus told Wheeljack a crucial information that made her stomach churned. She wished he didn't but also didn't blame him for being scared for her. Then suddenly understood why Wheeljack reacted, why he came back here than to the cafeteria. There was no point to argue with any of them but she was very grateful Wheeljack gave her a long time privacy.

"I can't win this can I?" Victoria chuckled lightly with a sad smile. "I was trying to protect those I cared about."

"That's our job." Wheeljack shot back with clear annoyance. "You knew you were developing heart problems. Didn't you? I am definitely not taking any risk when comes to your health." He looked very crossed.

"Okay. Okay. Calm down, Wheeljack. I'm taking my health very seriously. One of the main reason why I'm not taking the medication from Ratchet and what happened. Ratchet told you right? How bad is the report?" Victoria asked tenterhooks. She knew one of these days that was going to be revealed.

"Very Bad. Why the hell didn't you say anything Vic?" Wheeljack sighed. "If you don't improve on your own heart problem soon, sis, I am not going to protect you from Ratchet! For your own good!" He added angrily about it.

"That's why I didn't want anyone to know, especially Optimus. I know how you guys will react and I was trying to protect those I cared about. I knew how you will react and is not like I intend to keep something like this intentionally. I am perfectly capable to look after myself." Victoria confessed openly.

Wheeljack snorted. "Oh yeah? So how come your blood pressure is so high that you are developing heart problems?" He shot back defensively.

Victoria gave him a weak grinned. She took his hand and chuckled. "Wheeljack. You don't have to worry about me. I'm not going to argue with you either and I'm letting you win. I tore that report up for a reason."

"Vic. That's the most ridiculous thing I ever heard." Wheeljack groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're not protecting anyone by avoiding the issue and besides, Optimus already knew. You can't hide anything from the boss especially if it's a Prime. You crazy?"

Victoria beamed at him when Wheeljack held her hand back firmly. "I guessed not...it wasn't my intention to hide from anyone. I never like to worry anyone or to be the reason that my nightmares does wakes everyone or interrupt their sleep cycles. I never want anyone to witnessed my own demons. I never want anyone to know my own nightmares."

"No. No. No. No. No. Hey. Hey. I don't want you to think that way. All I cared about is helping you have easier nights to sleep because I know you're not sleeping very well these days with very good reasons. I understand and I'm not letting you put your health at jeopardy." Wheeljack said defensively. He knelt down to her height with one knee. There was a sympathetic look on his face.

"Wheeljack. I dealt with my own nightmares before I ever met the Autobots. It's not like the first time I dealt with it and I'm okay." Victoria pointed out with a small smile.

"Listen to me, Vic." Wheeljack said limiting his patience. She was driving him crazy. "I know you feel you have to carry everything on your own. I feel like you look out for everyone as a leader you feel like you don't need help. You feel independent enough to take on the world. All leaders break at one point and even leaders need somebody to pick them up."

Victoria felt taken aback at how much the Autobots really cared about her well being. She never had anyone that cared about her this much other than her mentor this way or Optimus for that matter. The young woman was just used to doing everything on her own and being the leader for everyone. The red hair female smiled at him knowingly.

"There's a lot you don't know about me, Wheeljack." Victoria chortled. "I wasn't allowed to show our emotions during my time at the CIA division agency. They train me to feel like an armour basically. To endure pain and torture. They will test until you don't feel any pain or any emotions in you. They considered to be a weakness. They expect you to be able to do everything yourself and be able to lead, take on missions successfully without fail."

She looked deep in thoughts. Wheeljack looked sympathetically at her. He sat down next to her, never leaving her side and held her hand firmly.

"Curious question, kid. Did you grow up this way? I feel sometimes you're afraid to asked for helped too." Wheeljack wondered. Victoria smiled at him knowingly and leaned against his shoulders comfortably.

"My dad always said I needed to be toughen up. Don't be a baby to cry. There's nothing to cry about. He would always tell me. I never really have a voice to them. You could say there's a lot of influence from my parents. I am the way I am." Victoria told him conversationally. "To be honest with you, Wheeljack, I felt I had been running for a very long time and I don't know where I was running either."

"Well, Vic. Guess what: you're not a CIA agent anymore. I don't give a damn what they tell you. I felt they were using you to do their dirty work. You always have a choice. Don't let anyone tell you differently. You can cry as much as you want because you really need to and bottling everything like that is going to get the better of you. I told you before too: I'm always going to be there for you. I don't care what anyone else said because you got the right to make your own choices. You're just you at the end of the day." Wheeljack sighed darkly about it in a disapproval tone. He put his arms around her.

"That's what Optimus told me too. He said they were using me. He was reluctant of me to go to every single mission because he was scared something bad would happened to me. I don't think he ever like the CIA division agency and wanted me to be out for a long time. He said my job was dangerous and my own life is at stake." Victoria looked rather amused and more cheer up.

"And something really did happened to you, Vic. Look at where you're at now. We almost lost you and you're not just anyone either to us. Hell, especially to Optimus. You're family despite us being different from one another. He's not wrong. I always felt the CIA was dirty. You should have come to NEST before being a CIA agent. What make you to be one in the first place?" Wheeljack agreed in a hurt tone without meaning to.

Victoria hugged him tightly in answer and smiled in answer. She snuggled close to him and understood that even Wheeljack was terrified to lose her. "My mum was a CIA agent for a long time. I wasn't exactly given a choice for a career. Runs in the family. I still came back home. I promise I will always come back home." She shrugged her shoulders in clear wonder.

Wheeljack sighed. He closed his eyes at her words. "I wished you never did go... If you weren't given a choice for a career what did you always want to be?"

"I always wanted to be a school teacher or even a pilot. I don't mind to teach soldiers or teach children one day or even be a mentor." Victoria told him honestly. She meant it too.

Wheeljack smiled at her. "That's a very good career, Vic. It's never too late to start. I can teach you how to pilot the Jackhammer when you get better and when I see serious improvement." He encouraged her seriously.

"I would love that. I lived my life to the fullest and met the greatest people. I guess I'm not really used to people looking out for me that way either. You know, you're not the only one that felt this way too. I was the only one with the skill set for the job." said Victoria confidently. "How was he, Optimus?"

"He was very unsettled and definitely did missed you a lot. He wasn't thrilled about your last missions and didn't like the idea on your last assignment that turned out to be your best friend. But the people in charge knew you were given a direct line to him for security purpose and your close relationship with him." Wheeljack informed her lightly about it in a casual tone.

"Were they in trouble?" Victoria asked feeling touch about how much they cared about her.

"No. They actually understood your history actually and why Major Lennox was adamant to keep a closer eye on you. He explained to his superiors as well. They knew the direct line was given through Major Lennox and understood your close relationship with Optimus. Tell you the truth: Optimus missed you a lot when you were away. I think you had quite the effect on him." Wheeljack said a supportive manner.

"Don't get me wrong, Wheeljack. I love him, more than I loved my mentor." Victoria confessed daringly, surprising herself at the same time. "It's not because I don't want to tell him. I trust him with my life. I trust Team Prime. I just don't want to hurt Optimus."

"Vic..." Wheeljack said slowly in a thoughtful tone. "Telling Optimus everything will only draw you both closer together. Trust me on this. Believe me. You won't be hurting him but only are hurting him if you lie to him. You're only hurting him if not telling him the whole truth."

"You know this weird connection I have with Optimus, Wheeljack, he may already know without me telling him and I'm not ready to tell him about my past because I also don't know where to start." Victoria told admitted. "I promise I will tell him. Sometimes I feel I'm never ready to tell him."

"It's all right, Vic. I got to be honest with you, when Optimus learned the truth, he won't ever leave you by yourself. He will want to be with you all the way." Wheeljack pointed out wisely.

"Since when did you get so wise?" Victoria teased him with a huge grinned. She nudged him lightly.

Wheeljack grinned back. "So that's why you wanted to see Optimus. Sometimes I wonder if you're actually a Prime after you touched the relic."

"I highly doubt it the relic makes me a Prime, Wheeljack." Victoria laughed with a shake of her head. "I will never take Optimus place, like, ever. I don't even know how to lead. Trust me, I know the feeling about losses and we can't even buy back the people we loved. If you don't start working with him, Team Prime will definitely fall."

"Who did you loose? If you don't mind me asking." Wheeljack studied her with much wonder.

"I never got the chance to say goodbye to my parents and I always felt I couldn't save them despite the fact they asked me to marry Silas. I also lost a very dear friend of mine, Charmaine Tsun. A very historical woman that knows much about any lost artefacts or plans to give you new identities and was on the CIA division agency. If you wonder if they hold anyone hostages, yes they do. She was my partner." Victoria sighed.

"I'm sorry." Wheeljack said seriously.

"Sometimes we don't like working with the enemies for who they are and sometimes all people really want to be at the end of the day is: to buy freedom. Don't make the same mistake that I did. All I ever wished in the end was to fixed the results that I wanted and no matter how hard we want the results we wanted, fate does play its part too." Victoria advice him.

"I don't know if I can forgive Dreadwing." Wheeljack told her openly.

"I know. I wasn't a CIA agent for nothing and I killed plenty of people, Wheeljack. By right I should have been a Decepticon. I didn't like the people I worked with that was my enemies." Victoria pointed out.

"Ha!" Wheeljack laughed. "I don't believe you will ever be a Decepticon. I'm sorry. I just don't see it at all!"

Victoria beamed at him. "You don't have to like him and if you keep walking on this path, you're the one who will end up losing a part of yourself. Don't make the same mistake as I did." Victoria encouraged him.

Wheeljack sighed. "Fine. I will do it just for you. But that doesn't explained about why the Dark Energon is on you when should be blood."

"Don't get mad, Wheeljack." said Victoria very warily. "The agents that held me captive operated me with Dark Energon. After they sold my file to the Decepticons, Megatron gave a sample of Dark Energon. When I wouldn't go through with the mission, even to turn over the Autobots, they put the Dark Energon in me and asked Kyrie to sew some Dark Energon up with it."

"WHAT!" Wheeljack yelled furiously. He couldn't helped it and looked alarmed.

"Wheeljack, please calm down. I'm not keeping anything from you at all." Victoria was determined to calm her temporary guardian.

"How do you expect me not to be angry? That's why you weren't healing, Vic!" Wheeljack couldn't helped it but to raised his voice.

"You told me I should work on my temper so should you." Victoria said in the same steady voice.

"I'm sorry." Wheeljack sighed. "I know I did. Can you blame me for being angry? I'm sorry. I know I'm not setting a good example. I'm actually really pissed off."

Victoria merely hugged him around his neck. "There's a lot of reasons why I'm not healing. I'm sorry too." She kissed him on his cheek.

"No. You really don't have to be." Wheeljack said adamantly. "Is there a chance for the Dark Energon to be out from you? What about Ratchet? What did he say? I really want to take you to see Ratchet, Vic."

He wanted to leave and get Ratchet. But Victoria held his arms very firmly. She knew him all too well. She knew all the Autobots too well after spending a fair amount of time with them at the military base. Wheeljack wanted to punch anything but most of all, he wanted to make the person responsible feel his pain for what they done to her.

"W-Wait!" Victoria begged him. "D-don't bother. I'm not trying to evade him this time and we already spoken about it. I asked him not to tell anyone, especially Optimus because I wanted to tell myself what really happened."

"Victoria. We are talking about fucking Dark Energon that originally belong to the asshole Megatron." Wheeljack never call her by her full name and the young woman knew how serious he was, he couldn't believe his own audio receptors.

"There's nothing even Ratchet cannot do. We already discussed it for awhile. He said he's not giving up and there had to be a way. There's none, Wheeljack. I'm sorry. You know that I'm going to pass away too." Victoria said seriously.

"Don't! Don't, Vic!" Wheeljack snarled crossly about it in a sudden snappy tone. "Why are you already talking as if you're giving up?" His voice was strained. "I can't believed you're giving up just like that! Don't talk like you're already going!" There was a regret look on his face.

"Because is the truth, Wheeljack. You want me to lie and act like everything is all merry go around?" Victoria gave him an apologetic look. "I'm speaking reality here. I'm sorry if the truth hurts. I'm not even going to hide anything anymore, Wheeljack. Otherwise the truth will die with me too."

"There's got to be a way to save you!" Wheeljack protested firmly.

"Listen... I am all right. I already am accepting my end and you know how much I hate it when people don't tell me the truth or kept me in the dark. Thank you, for always telling me the truth. I know I don't set a good example either because I was reluctant to tell Optimus." Victoria reminded him softly.

"I'm not at all okay with it." Wheeljack said brusquely about it.

"I know you're not." Victoria agreed warmly. "The reason for my injury is not always the Prime relic. Trust me. Ratchet was determined to empty the Dark Energon with normal Energon. But the risk was too high to even operate on me again because Ratchet said the Prime relic already absorbed itself within me and went into my blood stream. That's what he told me."

Wheeljack sighed and closed his optics. "What was his reason?"

"He said if he operated on me, he was fairly certain I will be killed instantly. Ratchet wanted me to have more time especially with Optimus. I didn't want to go until I talk to Optimus about everything and to Kyrie." said Victoria in a regretful tone to Wheeljack.

"Hey. You will talk to Optimus. I'm not giving up on you." Wheeljack assured her. He kissed her on her forehead. He smooth her back gently with his hand. "I promise I will talk with Dreadwing. To be honest, I find it weird for an ex Decepticon to care for a human."

"I know. He does care a lot for Kyrie." Victoria nodded. "I just wanted to see Kyrie. I wanted to tell her I was sorry that she was my mission. I wanted her to know that I never wanted to kill her. That I loved her very much. I wanted her to know I moved on too. I wanted to tell her everything because I didn't want to regret at all in case I didn't make it. I didn't want to live with regret." She admitted openly to him.

Victoria started crying earnestly. She let her tears fall. She held back her crying and realised she couldn't hold it back in then placed her hand on her own mouth. Wheeljack kissed her on the cheek. He simply folded her to a warm hug and rested his head on her chin. He smooth her back. Victoria's cries suddenly turn to an uncontrollable sob.

"I told you before you got to let it all out. You need to let it all out because your emotions will get the better of you. I got you, Vic. I got you." Wheeljack advised her and rock her sideways.

"I - I didn't turn her in, Wheeljack. She's my best friend despite what she did. She ended up being my mission. I couldn't kill her the way the CIA division agency wanted me to..." Victoria explained deeply to Wheeljack about her own mission.

"You mean even before you join NEST she was your mission?" Wheeljack looked taken aback.

Victoria nodded against his chest. "Two times she was my mission."

"Why did they want to kill her?" Wheeljack frowned disapprovingly. He continued to smooth her back.

"B - Because her job was to put the tracker on my mentor." Victoria stammered. Her voice was full of fear. "She was sparing him and actually helped him escaped. She wouldn't go through with it. The CIA division agency found out. I ended up also faking her death. I wouldn't kill anyone even if people pay me. I wouldn't. It's blood money. We were branded as traitors. I mess up so badly, Wheeljack. It was my fault that I was kidnapped in the first place." She started.

"What?" Wheeljack looked completely gobsmacked. "No!" He added defiantly in a firm answer. "No, Vic! That is definitely not your fault. How the hell is it your fault? You said it yourself that the CIA division agency will always hunt you down since day one when you first joined NEST. Tell me how is it your fault when it was your psycho husband that stole classified sensitive files in the first place? The fucking asshole sold you out! Fuck, he doesn't even deserve a person like you!" He reminded her bitterly about it. "You cannot blame yourself for this, Vic. Please." He urged her seriously.

"I just wished the results were different." Victoria said hopelessly. "I wished Kyrie was never experimented. I wished she never taken a toxic job and wished I could have freed her earlier. If I taken my mission properly, maybe Will wouldn't be badly hurt. Then he wouldn't be compromised or the rest of the soldiers. Maybe he wouldn't even be kidnapped either or have his family on the run with Ironhide -"

"Stop. Stop. Stop, Vic. Stop. Time out for a damn minute here." Wheeljack interrupted her angrily. He withdrew from her and looked directly to those fearful eyes. His palms rested on her chin. He spoke more softer to her.

Victoria merely looked at him and this time, she didn't continue to rambled on because Wheeljack was shocked she continued to blame herself for an outcome that wasn't her fault at all.

"Stop. Forget about the what if scenarios because even if you did want other scenarios to play out, to have the desired results you want won't be any different. In fact, the results will be worst and the CIA will end up playing dirtier. It's no way your fault. You hear me?" He said clearly. "Stop blaming yourself for something you couldn't fix. Stop blaming yourself for an outcome that isn't your responsibility."

Victoria nodded reluctantly. "Something else happened with Savoy when you him unintentionally. He didn't just gloat about my past to you. Right? He told me I was the number one traitor other than Kyrie." She asked knowingly. "There's always one person that takes over the mission. I presume is him."

"Do I look like I care what the fucker says about you?" Wheeljack asked defensively. He snorted disbelievingly. "Fuck him. Yeah, I did meet him and the next time I see him again, I'm going to put a bullet in him. So what, Vic? You shouldn't care either! I don't give a shit about that jackass nor do I care what he says about you. It's not important."

"What happened, Wheeljack? I know somebody did pay the price." Victoria pointed out.

"He sent a couple of missile rockets and I was too busy to get Tessa away to safety. The agents did came just as you warned us they will and was about to arrest her. They even blew up the university." Wheeljack was reluctantly to go on.

"Wheeljack. You said somebody paid the price. Who did?" Victoria asked cautiously in a steady voice she could muster. Wheeljack noted her voice still shook with much fear when she questioned him.

Wheeljack sighed in answer. "Yeah about that...uhm...how do I put this... Tessa doesn't exactly trust you... The Yeagers family doesn't trust you...I'm really sorry, Vic."

"Hey." Victoria said knowingly. "Don't be, Wheeljack. I know something did happened and I don't want to feel crazy. I told you before I haven't felt like a human. This is what I meant and not to mentioned my hair colour."

"I thought your hair colour did changed. Wasn't your hair colour blonde?" Wheeljack looked amused.

Victoria chuckled. "It was and no I didn't do a hair dye. I figured it could have been the Prime relic. I always wanted red colour for awhile anyway. That's why I asked and yes...I did See..." Victoria clasped her hand on his wrist instantly. "Tell me what happened." She insisted in the same patient tone. "Tell me I'm wrong for a change so I'm not going crazy..."

"Who did you see?" Wheeljack asked sharply. He wondered if he should be worried and whether that's why she was becoming weaker on the effects from the Prime's relic.

"I'll tell you after you tell me what happened. I promised I will tell you everything, included my nightmare. I promised." Victoria said persuasively.

Wheeljack sighed. Reluctantly, he started to tell her everything that happened while he was absent from Team Prime. He was on guard duty to Tessa Yeager and everyone else was too busy to rendezvous to the new base or busy dodging the Cemetery Wind.
