Kiss of a Decepticon

Chapter five

Wheeljack was very reluctant not to tell Victoria everything. His spark was feeling very heavy about it. He didn't want to make his own problem to make it hers. The memory event is still fresh on his mind. He checked her wound one more time and was very concerned the fact that now her bandage leaked very heavily with Dark Energon. The Dark Energon even leaked through the brand new t-shirt but not as bad as she was when she woke up from her nightmare.

Wheeljack decided to changed the bandage for the second time. It wasn't so long ago since he last changed it. He glared at Victoria when she protested for him to change it. That was when she gave up arguing with him. All she wanted to do right now is to see Kyrie and Dreadwing. But, most of all, she wanted to see Kyrie and tell her they were okay. She was even ready to let go of everything included the past that she was willing to put it behind her.

Victoria didn't mind Wheeljack changed her bandage. Though, she winced when he carefully peeled off the bandage and pain was written across her face. The wound stings and burn until her skin became raw. It wasn't the first time her wound became like this. The pain was like a knife and she felt as though the pain was a stab through her flesh. If anything, she rather take this pain than electrocution because she remembered how she was not sedated for it until she was numbed, unable to move.

"Sorry. I'll bring you some food afterwards. I still think Ratchet should have a look at you. How are you feeling by the way?" Wheeljack looked apologetic. He clasped his servo gently on her wrist.

"Don't worry about me, Wheeljack. I'm fine, really. Wait a little bit." Victoria panted heavily. She winced in pain. "I seriously don't want to be back at the medbay so soon. Please, Wheeljack. I would be so pissed if I don't get to see Kyrie! You promised me!" She made a face at him.

"And you will get to see Kyrie. You have my word on that, Vic. You promised me too, if you get any worse, you let me take you to see Ratchet. We did a deal, remember?" Wheeljack reminded her very firmly.

"I know!" Victoria gave him a sympathetic look and clasped her hand over his wrist gently. "Is there a reason why you're avoiding my question who paid the price, Wheeljack?" She studied his expression.

"I'm not avoiding the question, Vic. I got my own reasons and is complicated. I'm not ready yet I suppose and I didn't want to dump it on you either." said Wheeljack curtly.

"You're not simply dumping it on me and I perfectly welcome a very good distraction. Hmph. You're stubborn just like me. I don't need to be protected, Wheeljack. Trust me. I'm capable to look after myself." Victoria told him sternly.

Wheeljack sighed. "All right. But, you and I know both know the meaning of more than fine, Vic. I'm not going to let it go until I really know your full condition before I even allow you to see Kyrie. You can barely even walk on your own! You know I'm right on that."

"I figured you say that." Victoria smiled at him. "I can walk by myself."

"Not with that condition you're not. Vic, you're bleeding with Dark Energon and not human blood." Wheeljack reminded her. "Even if you could, you wouldn't be able to walk anywhere on the base. You know I can't leave you and even if I can, I don't want to leave you, especially what I witnessed today."

"I can't sit around on bed all day and Ratchet did tell me I need to exercise my muscles." Victoria chuckled. She quickly placed her hand over Wheeljack's mouth who'd glared at her.

"I'm taking you to Ratchet." Wheeljack protested and muffled against her hand fumingly about it.

"I am very all right. Stop looking like that, Wheeljack and you are so not bringing me to Ratchet. I told you I don't want to be back at the medbay so soon." Victoria begged him pleadingly.

The Dark Energon that spilled out from her mouth constantly even when she laughed made Wheeljack changed his mind on not to bring her to Ratchet.

"Vic, please." Wheeljack insisted.

"A little longer. Please, Wheeljack?" Victoria pleaded with him. "I'm sure all this is nothing."

"All that is nothing?" Wheeljack scolded her. His temper rising up very fast again. "You know is not nothing and I told you –"

"I heard you for the first time, Jackie." Victoria interrupted him gently. "I know. You don't have to get too work up about it. I was having difficulty to focus. Then again, lack of sleep and I'm just really exhausted. I don't want to go back to sleep. All I really wished, is for it all to really stop. The nightmares..." She concluded in a quiet tone.

"And you're always welcome to the Jackhammer airship, here any time as long as it helps you to sleep, Vic." Wheeljack offered to her. "You don't have to go back to sleep. I wish I can take the nightmares away for you. But I promise you, one day, your dreams will get better and you will get a restful sleep."

"Thank you." Victoria smiled at him gratefully. "I really like that idea. You don't have to worry about me to pilot your Jackhammer airship. I don't think I have the strength enough to do it."

"It's okay you don't sleep. I want you to rest. But I certainly don't want you to be alone at all." Wheeljack scoop her right into his arms once more. Victoria rested her head comfortably on his chest. "Come here, kid. You need to let it out, Vic. Otherwise, one day, it will pressed the air right out of you."

Victoria looked right into those blue eyes. "You're speaking from experience?" She guessed. "You have nightmares on your lost comrades..."

"The past always have a way to catch up on you." Wheeljack said distractedly. He was vague on his own answer. It was clear he wasn't so fond to talk about his own past that still stung him.

Victoria made a face at him. "You know you can talk to me too. We're more alike than we thought. You dreamt of Seaspray and the war on Cybertron. Right? Sorry."

Wheeljack looked taken aback. He was surprised at how much she had seen. "The Prime relic?"

"Yeah..." Victoria nodded. "I have been seeing what I shouldn't be seeing. I told you before I haven't feel human lately."

"Hey." Wheeljack placed a consoling hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to apologised. It's all right. But, I got to ask, do you feel dizzy, light headed or nauseas? Ratchet said you will have side effects from the Prime relic."

"Yeah...I do sometimes. On and off. Sometimes I won't even remember where I am too and most of the time I feel really weak not just exhaustion. Wheeljack, I promised you can bring me to Ratchet after we talk."

"And the Dark Energon?" Wheeljack asked in a suspicious tone.

Victoria sighed. She looked very reluctant to tell him. "I passed out from time to time. I really thought it was the Prime relic." She shrugged her shoulders. "But, you already knew that right?" She asked in a small voice.

"Because they were right to worry about you. Hell, even Dreadwing told me he found you unconscious and he suspected it was the Dark Energon effects. He told me when Kyrie tried to see you from the medbay. He even found her unconscious and thought it was because she was experimented. So, Ratchet did a scan on her." Wheeljack informed her.

"Kyrie tried to see me?" Victoria looked delighted at this news. She withdrew from him and instantly hop down from her bed. Wheeljack noticed she looked very cheered up. "So you and Dreadwing actually spoke to each other!" She grinned about it.

She was beginning to see double vision and was fairly certain she was going to pass out very soon.

"Whoa! Steady on your feet first, kid. I will bring you to Kyrie. Yes. Dreadwing did talk to me. That was when Optimus banned Kyrie from seeing you. When she tried to see you, she let out her powers. Dreadwing told me it wasn't the first time Kyrie did it. He said she couldn't control it." Wheeljack assured her.

"I know what he means..." Victoria agreed in an injured voice. "I still want to see her, Wheeljack. It's not her fault and I still want to see Dreadwing too. I got to talk to him too. I promise I will be careful." She lost balance when she tried to walked. Wheeljack caught her around her chest with his arms.

"Up you get, Vic. I got you." Wheeljack encouraged her. He helped her up to her feet. "I trust you. I'm just not comfortable to see you with an ex Con. I guess I got to get use to it. But, if he lay a hand on you, I'm going beat the slag out of him." He warned her seriously.

Victoria grinned at him. "Will you play nice with him, please?" She requested. "Do it for me."

Wheeljack scowled about it. "Fine. I'll be sure to be on my best behaviour. All right. Ironhide did tell me he found you unconscious. Do you remember anything then?" Victoria noticed the sarcasm in his voice.

"Where did he find me?" Victoria paused at her answer.

"Shooting range. He said you needed some alone time and said you'd been distant lately. Ironhide told me he found you more than a couple of times even outside base. I'm guessing you wanted a change of scenery until when you found a place to run out to you black out." Wheeljack answered seriously.

"Yeah. Yeah. I did want a change of scenery. I definitely didn't want to talk about it. I thought Ratchet said I pass out because I didn't eat anything not because of Dark Energon or the Prime relic." Victoria pointed out.

"Ratchet did say that. Speaking of food, I'm going to get you some." Wheeljack stood up. Victoria didn't want him to go and she held his arms closely to her chest. "You don't have to talk about it. I know the feeling. You can talk to me when you're ready. I won't be long, kid. There's something I needed to take care of and I need to do this on my own."

Wheeljack kissed her on her forehead. Victoria looked puzzled. "What's going on, Wheeljack?" She asked concernedly. "You know you can talk to me about anything too. Is it to do with what happened on your mission with Tessa?"

Wheeljack stared at her. "It's complicated...or should I say I rather mess up big time and you're not wrong...somebody did pay the price. Look, don't you worry about me, Vic." He added sharply. "I want you to rest."

"What am I going to do? I'm going to be bored out of my mind." Victoria complained to him. She squinted at him suspiciously. "You could use my help."

"Whoa! No way!" Wheeljack said automatically with his human holoform hands up in the air. "I got to do this alone and definitely you're not involved. I got my own damn reasons."

"Ha! You're more stubborn than I am!" Victoria looked amused. "I'm coming with you!" She hop down once more.

"No fucking way, Vic, especially with your current condition like this." Wheeljack scolded her and steered her off back to bed. "You think I'm going to let you walk like that?"

"What do you suggest that I do?" Victoria sighed impatiently at him. "You know I'm not going to leave you alone. You're there for me when I needed you. Let me be there for you, Wheeljack."

"I appreciate it, Vic. I promised I will tell you everything. Please don't walk on your current condition. I will send Dreadwing over. You said you wanted to see him." Wheeljack took out a new roll of bandage and a brand new t-shirt from the box.

"I do. You don't need to change me. You just did." Victoria laughed appreciatively. "You know I won't quit asking and I'm going to know it one way or another. You did promise me."

Wheeljack rolled his eyes. "I did and you need to change your wound like it or not, Vic. I'm not risking your well being. Where do you want to go? Don't say you want to follow me. I can't let you do that. You're crazier than I thought. Optimus was right about you. He said you're a hard one to handle."

Victoria made a face at him. "Well, that does sounds about right. I know you're hurting, Wheeljack. Talk to me." She said seriously to him in a compassionate warm tone. "I do want to follow you."

Wheeljack merely close his own optics. He wasn't a huge fan to opened up his own feelings or problems. He was use to handling his own problems by himself. "And I will tell you everything after I take care of it. I'm just not comfortable about getting you involved. You're my sister."

"And you're my brother." Victoria gave him a sympathetic look. "You know I will keep asking. I'm not giving up on you." She coaxed him.

Wheeljack didn't say anything for awhile. He carefully peeled off her bandage which soaked up all the Dark Energon. Victoria winced and felt her wound stung like a boiling fire that rippled through her raw skin.

"Sorry. Does it hurt?" He asked gently.

"Yeah... I'm okay..." Victoria beamed at him lightly.

"The pain will go away soon." Wheeljack attempted to cheer her up. "I still feel Ratchet should sew up that wound just for good measures."

The Wrecker threw away the old bandage. Victoria was distracted on what she was currently seeing. She could see Wheeljack at the back of her mind when she saw him at a university and there was a blonde with a highlight pink hair teenager next to him. When the vision came to her, Victoria felt very overwhelmed at what she saw and felt for a minute she couldn't breathe. She felt she was going into shocked and it wasn't the first time.

"Vic, are you all right?" Wheeljack thought she was losing conscious at the moment. He place a consoling hand on the side of her temple.

His voice was very far and she tried to respond back to him but lolled her head around. Victoria had seen Wheeljack gave his only grenade to the young man. She felt she was at where Wheeljack was, not at Optimus's quarters. She felt she had landed in the dream because she felt as though Tessa was right next to her. The blonde teenager refused to go with Wheeljack and was close to panicking. Her own eyes brimmed up with tears. Everything was all a blur.

"Vic! Can you hear me?" Wheeljack shake the female agent. "Hey, hey, hey! Don't you make me send you to Ratchet. Come on, Vic! Stay with me! Stay with me!" He urged her firmly. He lightly tap her face with his fingers on each side of her cheek.

Victoria tried to utter a word. But she went straight into shocked and convulse violently. That was when she black out when she received a vision. She wanted to talk to Wheeljack but she felt trapped. She felt she wasn't there at where she was but more so at where the vision showed her completely. She tried to even say his name and struggled to utter the words that was clogged up completely.

"Get her out of here!" The young man called out.

"Shane!" Tessa sobbed hysterically. "Don't leave me!"

The young man turned and kissed her full on the mouth. "I'll come back to you, baby. But you got to get out of here with Wheeljack."

"No. I'm not leaving you! Shane!" Tessa pleaded her in a broken voice. "Please don't leave me, Shane! I love you! Please don't leave me!" She begged him.

"You promised me you'll look after her, no matter what!" The man gripped onto Wheeljack's collar. "I'll cover for you! Get my fiancé out of here!"

"Shane, no! Please, don't!" Tessa screamed after him.

"There's got to be another way!" Wheeljack gripped onto his hand back. "Think about what you're about to do!"

"One way or another, I will always be a fugitive. You know that. Don't you dare go out there and keep my baby girl safe." Shane warned him.

"Don't you dare sacrifice yourself for me!" Wheeljack snarled angrily. "This is not on because you're coming home!"

"No, don't do this! You promise me you will get married to me, Shane!" Tessa pleaded with him.

"I'm sorry baby. But I won't let you get caught." Shane replied to Tessa. "And your dad will roast me if you get arrested. I'm going to buy time for you and Wheeljack. The Autobots are the best defence for the humans. You know it and I know it. Come on, Tessa. I will always love you until the end of time. You got to go."

Shane pulled her for a couple of kisses on her lips. He kissed her softly then on her cheek. Tessa tried to stop him but she was pulled back by Wheeljack.

"Shane!" Tessa cried out after him.

The agents was closing in on the three of them. Wheeljack began to pull Tessa away from Shane. Victoria watched Shane ran back inside. The agents already arrived at Tessa's dormitory and pointed their guns at him.

"Hey boys. What's up?" Shane said in a weak bravado tone.

"You're either very stupid to even be here. I thought you're smart enough to run away with them. Where is Wheeljack?" Savoy demanded. "Where is the Autobot hiding your fiancé?"

She could see Shane held up Wheeljack's grenade in the air. Tessa got into Wheeljack's car very reluctantly.

"You want me? You can have the whole lot of me! There is no way I will let you get your hands on my fiancé!" Shane yelled out at James Savoy. "I honestly don't know who Wheeljack is and I don't know the Autobots that well."

"Spare me the dramatics, Mr Dyson. If you turn in Wheeljack, we'll let you and your girl live. How about we'll even let Cade live?" Savoy negotiated with him slickly. "Where is the female agent? She was one of us until she landed in bed with Optimus Prime and became his girl. I imagined she was with Wheeljack and your fiancé."

"Whoa, Optimus Prime have a girlfriend? Hard to imagine the Prime have a wife but he does deserve a girl." Shane looked impressed. "That's as far as you go, big mouth." He held up the grenade in a threatening manner. "This is between you and me."

"Stop dancing with me, Mr Dyson. You forgot I'm an agent." Savoy warned him dangerously pointing his gun at his chest. Do you even know how to operate the grenade?" Savoy sneered at him. "You don't even have the heart to set it off. Where is she, by the way?"

"Who the hell are you talking about now?" Shane stared at him. He took a step back and motion the grenade at him in a warning tone.

"Where is Victoria? She was one of us until she betrayed us. Our orders is to hand her over and kill her for conspiracy to protect the Autobots." Savoy demanded. "It's a pity I don't have time to play with her like the slut."

"Yeah, like you're not a slut yourself? No can do, Savoy. Good luck trying to find her or any of my friends for that matter." Shane grinned at him. "You think I don't have the guts to use this? You're so damn wrong." He pulled the pin and threw it at the rest of his team without warning.

Everything went into chaos. Savoy shot Shane neatly on his chest. Wheeljack turned around at the sound of the gunshot wound when he and Tessa ran to his alt mode. They were actually one street away from where the agents are and Wheeljack had to cover her mouth when she screamed in terror. Wheeljack looked up to see smoke was in the air and there was a loud explosion in the dormitory.

"Shane!" Tessa screamed out. "Shane!"

Wheeljack pulled her back. But Tessa fought against the Wrecker. "He gave me a clear order!"

"I am not leaving him, Wheeljack!" Tessa demanded firmly.

"I'm sorry. There's nothing we can do." Wheeljack replied in a regretful tone.

"No." Tessa argued with her face streaked with tears.

"I'm sorry, kid." Wheeljack rested his head on her head.

"No." Tessa said in a defeated tone. "He promised me. Shane promise me!"

"I'm sorry, he's gone." Wheeljack held her firmly and leaded her to his alt mode.

Victoria ended up waking at the medbay. She opened her eyes very slowly and noticed Ratchet stood before her with his torchlight at the end. Unintentionally, the red head female agent did passed out and wasn't sure for how long. She found she also have an oxygen mask along with several tubes on her. She felt a searing pain through her stomach when she sat upright.

"Take it very easy now, Agent Valorheart. I had to operate on you while you were unconscious and sew in more stitches on your wound." Ratchet said concernedly.

"Ratchet?" Victoria asked weakly. She tried to sit up to have a better look at him. Ratchet shook his head.

"You lost a lot of blood, my dear. Welcome back. You gave us quite the scare." Ratchet told her gently. He helped her to lie back down when she tried to sit up quickly. "No, don't. You need to rest. There is a lot of side effects that came from the Dark Energon and the Prime relic. I even suspected the Prime relic also saved your life in an odd way."

"Save my life...?" Victoria said very slowly. She was confused not to mentioned very light headed. She slowly swing her legs down her bed but Ratchet force her back to her own bed to rest.

"Victoria, you just have an operation. I had to use an anaesthesia injection earlier so you will feel a heavy effect later on in the day. Please, you are not fit for any duty at all and until I clear you." Ratchet insisted firmly. "Do you understand?" He asked concernedly.

"Yeah...I understand." Victoria smiled at him. "Thank you, doctor. Why didn't you tell me I was dying? I'm okay with the truth you know. I hate it when people keep things from me. You know I don't like to be kept in the dark."

"I didn't want to frighten you. I thought it was rather obvious. Wheeljack should know better than to tell you. I also didn't want to face reality at all. I didn't mean to lie to you. But to protect you. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. That wasn't my intention. I didn't have the spark to tell you either. You are always welcome." Ratchet admitted honestly to her in an apologetic tone.

"Wheeljack couldn't lie to me either and even without him telling me I would know, you know. Where am I anyway?" Victoria asked groggily.

"At the med bay." Ratchet took out his torchlight and flashed at her. "Follow the light, Agent Valorheart."

Victoria flinched at the torchlight. She hates the glare for many reason because it reminded her from the experiment table she endured. She looked down at her wound which was expertly sewn by Ratchet who had done on her on multiple occasion included the one on her back. Ratchet did another scanned carefully on her and thoroughly. He even examined the stitches.

"How exactly did the Prime relic saved me?" Victoria was baffled.

"Well, when Wheeljack called me and told me you passed out from the large amount of Dark Energon, you reacted very strongly to the Prime relic. We couldn't wake you for awhile because the Prime relic activated on its own." Ratchet informed her thoroughly.

"Hang on a second." Victoria frowned thoughtfully. "Are you telling me the Prime relic have some sort of super power and is now in me or something? I thought the Prime relic or any Cybertronian relic aren't suitable for humans with obvious reasons."

"Very much so, my dear Victoria. It wasn't supposed to be suitable for humans. Listen. I know this is going to be a touchy subject. I also don't mean to pry but it does seemed very curious. Have you bonded with Optimus?" Ratchet wondered.

Victoria's face turned crimson red. "What do you mean bonded?" She asked nervously. Her heart raced very fast that she was certain could be heard.

Victoria noted how uncomfortable Ratchet looked. He even looked embarrassed because the question was very personal to say at least. They were interrupted when Dreadwing intervene the answer. He was laughing wholeheartedly at Ratchet's assumption and his wild theory to the problem. Wheeljack looked simply annoyed at his interruption and Ratchet gave a mistrustful look at the ex Decepticon that just walked in.

"When a spark mate interface with their partner, they're bonded and that bond is something you cannot break. Your world and ours is very different. There is no such thing as divorce on our world. Ratchet is simply asking if you ever get fragged with the leader of the Autobot." Dreadwing sneered about it.

There was a mischievous look plastered on his face. Victoria guessed Kyrie taught Dreadwing much about human customs when he spend his time with her. Wheeljack seethe his metal teeth. He like nothing more than to throw a punch at him. If it weren't for his promise to her, he would have done so already.

"Hey Dreadwing." Victoria waved at him shyly. The ex Decepticon knelt down to her height and leaned forward to allow the female human to hug him around his neck. "How's my girl, Kyrie?"

"She missed you terribly, little one. I understand you two are very close and talked about you often." Dreadwing chuckled with a warm smile at her greeting. "So back at the med bay so soon, Agent Valorheart?"

"It's not intentional." Victoria assured him. "You think is okay for me to see her? Kyrie is my childhood friend. We grew up together and she was my next door neighbour."

"Hm. She said the same about you." Dreadwing agreed thoughtfully. "You know the rules. I very much want to grant you access but I cannot risk your safety. You heard what Optimus said."

Victoria gazed at the floor. "It's just that... it's been a really long time since I last saw Kyrie and I just want her to know I'm really sorry for everything. The reason why I asked for you is because I wanted to talked about what happened to Kyrie and I got some questions for you."

Dreadwing gently lifted her chin with his fingers. "I am more than happy to answer what you seek, little one. You know she cannot control it and is still not safe for visitation until she learn to control it. You can still pass out from your last encounter with her. I know how you feel because she means the world to me too. We will discussed everything, Agent Valorheart."

"It's not her fault. She just needs helped." Victoria told him immediately in a hurt tone. "She can't control it and Silas was the one that did that to her."

"I know and I witnessed what she became personally myself. There's nothing else that we can do except be there for her in any way we can't. Unfortunately for you, I do not want you to be close but I am more than happy to relay your messages to her. I personally wished to grant you access if her powers doesn't almost kill you like the last time. You have my word I won't leave her alone and I will stay by her side." Dreadwing agreed gravely.

"Excuse me for interruption, but what do you mean the last time?" Wheeljack frowned.

Victoria winced. That was one part she didn't mean not to tell him. "Well...I snuck in to visit her a couple of times until Dreadwing banned me. He told Optimus to banned me for my own safety." She said very quietly.

Wheeljack raised his eyebrows at her. He sighed and pinched his own optics. "Are you serious, kid? You didn't think to tell me that?"

"Because I know you won't let me visit her." Victoria protested immediately. "And I just want to talk to her to let her know she's okay!"

"No. I wouldn't." Wheeljack agreed and looked amused about the whole result.

"It's just I have my reason to see her in person." Victoria tried again. "But, thanks anyway. I really appreciate it. So, what's interface?" Victoria asked innocently.

Dreadwing started laughing aloud at her question then swipe a servo over his face. He had to hide his grinned from her and realised how innocent his human friend is and there was a disbelief looked plastered across his face. Ratchet and Wheeljack glanced at each other. Wheeljack made a face at the Autobot medic. This was all his fault and was the one who threw down the question in the first place. They could see why the ex-Decepticon was laughing completely.

"I am certainly not answering that, little one." Dreadwing back away from the female human. He stood up instantly and was determined to leave the room. "It is very nice to see you again, Agent Valorheart and I wished you a pleasant day." He began to walked out of the room until Victoria stood in front of him to prevent him from exiting the area.

"Victoria –" Ratchet protested. Victoria ignored his protest. Dreadwing raised his eyebrows at her.

"I didn't say you could leave, Dreadwing and I got questions for you! Get your ass back here, lieutenant!" Victoria said bossily at him.

Dreadwing merely smiled but didn't sit back down at all. He rubbed the back of his helm with his servo. "I was going to go back and keep Kyrie company. I can always come back and I am not far, Agent Valorheart. You shouldn't be walking at all. Don't forget to eat." He helped her back on her feet and prodded her on her back very carefully knowing how fragile she was and so innocent. "I refused to answer. I'm sorry. But you are very innocent that I must protect."

"Thanks Dreadwing. I still want to speak to you individually and in private. You're seriously not going to answer me what interface is?" Victoria requested.

"No, I certainly am not and that's their job. They can. I'll see you soon, Agent Valorheart." Dreadwing sneered, chuckling to her question. He sniggered to himself. He pointed at Wheeljack and Ratchet. The ex Decepticon soldier laughed once more and left the room.

"Fine! Thanks for being so damn helpful..." said a disappointed Victoria to Dreadwing gloomily. She waved at him.

"You're very welcome my dear human." Dreadwing replied and smiled sarcastically at her about it.

This left him feeling extremely amused to the point he almost dote her for it and something he wasn't going to forget any time soon. The poor lady. Victoria couldn't think of anything else to say but watched him leave to see Kyrie. That was a question he certainly like to avoid. Wheeljack sighed. He didn't even stopped Dreadwing from leaving. On the plus side, Victoria was glad he didn't brawl out with him.

"Interface means having sex or mating. I don't want you to get the wrong idea, Agent Valorheart –" Ratchet pinched his own optics with his own servo.

"Yep. Yep. Yep. I perfectly got the damn idea, thanks. No wonder Dreadwing ran out of the room so fast." Victoria cut him off curtly. She really did not want to answer and wanted nothing more than to hide away from Ratchet right at this moment.

"Is that question seriously necessary Ratchet?" Wheeljack spoke up. His jaw dropped. Now, everyone in the room looked highly uncomfortable. He wasn't the only one that couldn't imagined a human and a Cybertronian relationship not to mention interface.

"Yes. I know it is a very uncomfortable topic for the rest of us however must be addressed because there is always a theory behind the answer. I am very happy for the both of you and Optimus very much deserved the happiness in the world. So does Victoria. I fully support the both of you." Ratchet bowed to Victoria lightly.

"B - But...Do I really have to answer that part?" Victoria asked uncomfortably for obvious reasons. "It's really private not to mention very personal you know." She switched her voice to a whisper.

Ratchet smiled knowingly. "You will get the answer and unfortunately you do have to answer, Agent Valorheart. Optimus is my oldest friend I know in a very long time. It is you that made Optimus smile and it had been a very long time since I last seen him smile not since Elita-One."

"His wife?" Victoria guessed sympathetically for her own partner.

Ratchet nodded. "But, I must asked you, did you experience visions when you did pass out and is not the first time?"

"I did. Like I told Wheeljack earlier, I experienced seeing pre historic timeline of Cybertron. Optimus does look very happy and she looked very happy dancing with him. I guessed there was an occasion. Please tell me I'm wrong so I know I am the one being crazy. None of the visions I'd been getting made a whole lot of sense."

Wheeljack and Ratchet shared a look with one another. "That is a phenomenon accuracy, Agent Valorheart. You are indeed chosen by the ancestors of the Prime." Ratchet looked taken aback.

"What do you mean?" Victoria looked flustered at his news. She was glad Wheeljack went over to her in his human holoform and sat down next to her. He folded her to a warm hugged. Victoria accepted it gratefully and kissed him on his cheek. "Hey." She said softly.

"Hey kid. Welcome back." Wheeljack greeted her and folded her to a warm hugged.

"How shall I put this?" Ratchet sighed and rubbed the back of his helm with his servo.

"No more secrets, Ratchet. I'm serious." Victoria scolded him. She folded her arms across her chest.

"You know, I certainly did not approve what Wheeljack told you." Ratchet turned at the Wrecker disapprovingly on his decision. "Of all the scrapyard idea, you decided to tell her what her actual fate is? Have you completely lost your mind, Wheeljack?"

"Ratchet. It's not Wheeljack's fault." Victoria spoke up. Wheeljack opened his mouth to but he was cut off. "Even if he didn't say anything, I would have known already without him saying anything. I just know you two were keeping a secret even though you were trying to protect me from it. I was disappointed because I thought we had a bond of trust you know?"

"We do. One hundred percent. That is beside the point, Agent Valorheart." Ratchet argued with her strictly. "There is a thousand reason I wished not to tell you about it because you may loose the will to live."

"How does the Prime relic work? You said it saved my life. I also don't get why does it matter if I am bonded with Optimus. We did talked about it and we always been complicated. Don't get me wrong. I love Optimus very much. It's just that I'm human and he's a Cybertronian." Victoria admitted openly to them and pointed out about it.

Wheeljack smiled knowingly to her. But didn't speak. He understood her and knew was real towards the Autobot leader very much. Ratchet rolled his optics at her reason. Clearly, he didn't agree with the last part.

"Puh-lease! Oh it most certainly does matter, Agent Valorheart. If you are bonded with Optimus Prime, you would be granted with a second chance at life and become a Prime. Legend has it that the Prime relic doesn't just choose anyone to be a Prime. The relic itself contained healing powers which is the reason why the Dark Energon was seized." Ratchet explained patiently to her.

"There's still Dark Energon in me right?" Victoria guessed curiously.

"Yes." Ratchet agreed solemnly about it. "If you are not bonded with him, you will not received the healing powers. But, it would stand to reason because you are in a relationship with Optimus, you are chosen by the Prime's ancestor and I know for a fact the relic wouldn't respond if it doesn't choose you. Regardless whether or not you are a human or Cybertronian."

Wheeljack looked puzzled at this new found piece of information. "I don't want to be a Prime!" Victoria said on top of her voice. "I never want to replaced Optimus nor do I ever want to be a Prime!"

"We know, Agent Valorheart. I truly hoped you are bonded with him because the Dark Energon is still in you and only healed partially to you. I fear the Dark Energon went straight to your spark. Please tell me you are bonded with Optimus." Ratchet knelt down with one knee and rested his arms his knee cap. He was still in his green Autobot form.

Victoria felt her whole face grew even hotter and felt the room very warm. "No. I'm not bonded with Optimus. He said he's afraid he will one day kill me if we ever did. You said it yourself that any Cybertronian relic is not compatible with a human." She reminded him.

"Victoria." Ratchet pinched the bridge of his optics with his fingers. "Optimus is my oldest friend. I have not seen him this happy since you came into his life. I have seen the way you are with Optimus and with Team Prime. You are definitely his conjunx endura without question! You two are just being stubborn!" Ratchet was frustrated. "I will most certainly have a word with Optimus myself."

Victoria remembered it wasn't so long ago that was what Dreadwing described Optimus and her months ago. "What? No! Leave it, Ratchet. The last time we talk about it made him avoided each other because we were both embarrassed. I'm certainly okay with it! Look, Dreadwing said the same thing too few months back."

"That is because Optimus is afraid!" Ratchet confined to her desperately. "He swore he wouldn't get close to any femme anymore because he was afraid to loose them just like he had lost Elita-One and Optimus always dreamt of having his own personal family. I know this is all very personal. Optimus deserve better and so do you! This is your life I'm talking about!"

"But, how does bonding work?" Victoria was more than bewildered. "Can't we talk about something else?" she asked desperately and looked at Wheeljack for support.

"No. We can't! I know you like evading the problem!" Ratchet told her firmly. Victoria merely rolled her eyes at him.

"There are different types of bonding, kid." Wheeljack finally spoke up and managed to find his voice once more. "The common one is: family bonding like split spark. Take Bumblebee and Optimus for family example. Like Dreadwing and his twin brother Skyquake share a split spark bond. There's also what we call it: sparkmate bonding. You know, like girlfriend and boyfriend. It's when two sparks are merge. You know, what humans called the heart."

Victoria looked from Wheeljack then at Ratchet thoughtfully. "Can you ever break a bond?"

"Nope. You can't ever break a bond unless the spark gets snuffed. So in other words, you can't ever get a divorce even if you wanted to and once bonded, is bonded for life." Wheeljack explained.

"Okay. So like a soulmate." Victoria answered tapping her chin thoughtfully with her finger.

"Dreadwing's right. You can't get a divorce if you're bonded with a Cybertronian for many reasons. You will still feel another from a distance. It's just like you can feel Optimus emotions at the moment." Wheeljack nodded in agreement.

"So does that mean you're bonded with the Prime?" Ratchet looked thrilled.

"It's funny to say this, Ratchet. But you can thank the Prime relic that I'm able to feel Optimus from a distance. I haven't bonded with him. That's for sure. We haven't for many reasons and I understand him. I am okay with it too." Victoria answered determined to get it over with and gave a meaningful look to Ratchet then to Wheeljack.

Wheeljack simply placed his human hand on her shoulder. He understood her at once. Interface was a very touchy subject especially for the red head female agent. There was no need for Victoria to talked about it for a past she'd rather put it behind her willingly. Wheeljack was the only one who knew her darkest past she'd recently confined to and certainly won't tell anyone else, not even Optimus.

"Does that mean the Prime's relic is contaminated by the Dark Energon?" Wheeljack asked fairly.

"No. The Dark Energon is still in her and is right over her spark which is dangerous. I cannot do an infusion with our normal Energon. If she was a Cybertronian I would have done so instantly without any permission and because she is human, Energon is devastating to her kind just like the Prime's relic."

Wheeljack raised his eyebrows. "I thought all Cybertronian relics have their own shielding and in this case did protected her."

"Yes it did, Wheeljack. But, the Prime's relic absorbed within her spark. I believed the relic is not contaminated or she would not have survived. She was saved by the Prime's relic. Still, I want you to monitor her on everything. If she tries anything stupid like this again to prevent coming to the medbay, bring her here immediately no matter her protest. This is her life and her health we're talking about." Ratchet threw an annoyance look at Victoria.

Wheeljack frowned "You think I didn't try?"

"Of course not! And I want her to eat! She is way overdue!" Ratchet was furious.

"I'll bring her food." Wheeljack promised him. He was about to go to the cafeteria. That was when Victoria held his wrist with her hand clasped over. A mark that she wanted him to stay for awhile still.

"I already gotten her food and I know she does need it after surgery." Ratchet placed the food tray on her own table.

Victoria examined the food tray. She smiled at him. "Stir-fried noodles? You have been watching some cooking shows. I didn't know you can cook."

"I do as a matter of fact. I want you to eat something healthy not rubbish." Ratchet lectured her. "You had a habit on sweet tooth such as chocolate. There's also miso soup on the side and water. I don't think is a good idea to have any fizzy drinks at this stage."

"...Not even Energy drinks like coke zero?" Victoria looked crestfallen.

Wheeljack laughed and shook his helm. He was amused to see Ratchet scolded his sister and there was a huge grinned on his face. He had seen her always opened a can of two when she was very stressed out at work.

"If you didn't consume so much! Tea and water, if you will and is beneficial than those atrocious drinks you have daily!" Ratchet frowned at her crossly.

Victoria sighed. There was no way to win with Ratchet like this. She even held up her hands in the air in surrender mode. "Can I talk to Wheeljack in private?" She requested seriously. "I won't be long. Then I need to see Dreadwing."

"Fine. But please, try to eat while you talk to Wheeljack. You don't have to finish everything." Ratchet insisted.

"Thank you for looking after me, Ratchet. I really appreciate it." Victoria said warmly.

"You're very welcome my dear. But please, by the AllSpark, Victoria, do not ever protest to anyone who bring you to the medbay. You could have died. There was many occasions that we almost lost you. What if we lost you? What if Optimus lost you?" Ratchet told her worriedly. "You know better, Agent Valorheart... Please don't forget to eat. You are way overdue for standard medical check-up."

"I will. I'm also guessing you haven't told Optimus. If you didn't tell him, he's going to know you know and we can hear each other thoughts and feel one another only because of the Prime's relic." Victoria unpacked the chopsticks and opened the lid.

"He does know. There's many reasons why he left the base. I am very sure he will talk to you, Agent Valorheart." Ratchet agreed uneasily about it.

"I know... I'm just really worried about him." Victoria said playing with her noodles with her chopsticks.

Ratchet smiled knowingly at her. "Victoria. I want you to focus on yourself and your own recovery than worrying about anyone else. I want to see improvements if you will. I will leave you and Wheeljack."

"I'll do my best. Thanks, Ratchet." Victoria still looked very pale.

Ratchet walked away from them and left the room completely.

"I'm guessing that answered a few questions you were seeking." Wheeljack rested his arms on the table. He gave her a knowing smile.

"Yeah, it did in a way. I'm really sorry Wheeljack. I didn't mean to scare you." Victoria said regretfully.

"I'm just glad you're awake and not anything else, Vic." Wheeljack rubbed her back with his hand. "How are you really feeling by the way? I was scared something bad happened to you. Quit apologising. I'm just glad you're okay."

Victoria pulled him to a tight hugged. "You can't get rid of me that easily." She smiled against his chest.

Wheeljack kissed her on her head gently and folded her to a warm hugged. "I'm going to hold you to that, kid. So you had another vision earlier when you passed out at Optimus's quarters?"

"Yeah. I did. I – I tried to respond back to you. I thought I was having an asthma attack or something because I really couldn't breathe." Victoria said shakily.

"Vic. You weren't having an asthma attack. You went into shock and Ratchet said we couldn't wake you for awhile." Wheeljack corrected her seriously. "You were convulsing then you collapsed and fainted after that. What did you see?"

"So I was having a panic attack in a weird way at the same time?" Victoria wondered.

"Pretty much. I wouldn't worry about past events, Vic. What did you see?" Wheeljack repeated his question.

"I saw you..." Victoria said slowly, pondering at her answer. "Then I saw Tessa and her fiancé, Shane. I keep seeing a young man's face. A little bit of a light beard and brown hair.

Wheeljack bowed his helm. He nodded. It was his turned to sighed. "Shane paid the price. Vic, you can't say that you're crazy because everything you had seen had been on point. It's all what the Prime relic does. You're not wrong."

"You think the Prime's relic made me passed out by accident?" Victoria asked curiously twirling her noodles with her chopsticks. "How long was I in shocked?"

"No doubt about it, Vic. Five minutes or so you were in shocked. Ratchet said let you finish having the shocked before we were able to move you." Wheeljack answered lightly.

He knotted his own human hands together and rested his elbows on his knees then gazed at the floor. The Autobot warrior looked disturbed at how she described not to mentioned he knew she saw everything without him telling her the full story. All of what she told him was very true.

"Wheeljack..." Victoria put her own chopsticks down. She clasped her hands over his wrist. "I don't want you to feel like is your fault. Shane's death isn't your fault and I know you felt like you screwed up with the what ifs different scenarios. I know you blame yourself."

Wheeljack closed his own optics for awhile and Victoria noted the guilt on him. "Then you know why I have to do this on my own. Did you see everything?" He asked, impressed and regret that she saw everything.

"Everything. I did. You don't have to deal with it alone, Wheeljack." Victoria frowned at him. She still spoke to him in a warm tone. "I won't follow you. I'll let you find your own closure. But I won't let you be alone when you really need a friend and you can come to me when you feel ready too. You have been there for me during my darkest times. You're my family. My brother, Wheeljack. A brother I never have. More importantly, a family I never have. Trust me. I know what is like and I have been where you're at when we wished we want to turn back time to fix our own mistakes."

Wheeljack nodded in agreement. "Kyrie..." said Wheeljack understood her. "You wanted to do right by her without having any regrets." He guessed seriously.

"Yeah. That's why I wanted to see her. We haven't seen each other for a very long time too. You told me that I have to get these things off my chest. So do you, Wheeljack. Don't do this to yourself because as you said it: one day it will press the air right out of you." Victoria reminded him.

"I did. I feel I owe a lot to Tessa. It's best that we don't see eye to eye for awhile and yeah, we're complicated. What did you see?" Wheeljack insisted once more. He slowly and raised his helm to look at her. "You don't have to stop eating because of me, Vic. You really need it. Maybe you passed out because you didn't eat for long time and not just the Prime's relic reason."

"Forget about the food for a minute, Wheeljack. I'm kinda scared I might throw up again like last time. I'm not avoiding not eating because Ratchet did cook for me. I'm more worried about you." Victoria told him seriously. She frowned about it.

"Kid, I don't want you to worry about me. You heard what Ratchet said. I want to see improvement. Remember what we talked about before? Please. My job is to worry about you, not yours. What did you see, Vic?" Wheeljack repeated his question, clearly resolute about it.

"I remember." Victoria assured him with a warm smile. "I keep seeing Shane's face. I saw he threw the grenade at the agents when he refused to hand over you or Tessa. Savoy even asked about me and wanted to know where I am saying I was a traitor. I know he called me a slut that's why you'd reacted. He knows about my relationship with Optimus." She noted Wheeljack looked furious when she mentioned on the name calling that really bugged him completely.

"I imagined you didn't put your relationship with Optimus into any file but only your mission." Wheeljack surmised. He folded his arms against his chest and looked ready to beat Savoy up at this stage.

"No, I didn't. My relationship with Optimus is a secret. Somebody found out about us. I thought could be the tracking device that was the reason how Savoy know about it and I wouldn't be surprised if he surveilled me without me knowing." Victoria said in a bothered tone.

"Hey. Don't beat yourself up about security, sis. You were hunted for years by them and you weren't wrong when you warned us they will always find a way to kidnapped you and they did. Hell, you got kidnapped by the Cons for crying out loud. Your life was endangered. You can't degrade yourself like that or not take credit because I know you're a stickler for security details." Wheeljack warned her sharply.

"You were guarding Tessa before Optimus asked you to guard me right?" Victoria guessed accurately.

"I was and is Optimus's call, not mine." Wheeljack replied dismissively. "Like I told you, Vic, it's probably better this way now I'm complicated with Tessa. I sure as hell owe her an apology. Shane was supposed to be back home. But he was killed." He said heavily in a painful tone.

"It's not your fault, Wheeljack. Don't second guess yourself on we could have done more. Trust me, like I told you, I been there before. I wished very much I could have changed the outcome for Kyrie and wished she lived her life to be the doctor she meant to be." Victoria comforter him. "I imagined Tessa would want her revenge on anyone that worked with the Cemetery Wind for Shane's death. You don't need to protect me, Wheeljack. She needs a friend right now. I know how you're feeling and you have my full support to find closure."

"Actually, I do need to protect you from Tessa." Wheeljack kissed her on her forehead. "Optimus believed she might even put her revenge out to you because you were one of them in the past. That's why he asked you to guard me. He trust the Yeager's family, especially her father, Cade."

"Wheeljack, she's a teenager. What is she? 17 years old? What can she do?" Victoria said understanding his situation. "I am perfectly capable to look after myself. I told you that before, bro. I have to disagree with Optimus and you. He can get his ass back on guardian duty only because I missed his ass."

Wheeljack chuckled and smiled broadly in much agreement at her response. "I appreciate it, sis. You did tell me that. I love you. But, I strongly agree with the commander because chances are like you said, there's no doubt she will seek revenge for his death. Optimus said people become very different when they loose the people that meant the world to them. Love makes you do crazy shit, sis."

Victoria nodded and smiled in agreement. "I know. Talk to her, Wheeljack. She's the one who needs the protection, not me." Victoria said stubbornly in a hot headed manner. "What, you think she will try to assassinate me at night? Look. Talk to Tessa. She needs a friend right now."

Wheeljack looked even more worried when she said that. "You think is okay that I stay with you overnight?"

"Okay. But I want to stay on the Jackhammer airship..." Victoria requested brightly to him. "I'm protected on the Jackhammer ship. I'll be fine."

"Done deal, sis." Wheeljack smiled back broadly. "Now don't forget to eat up. Your food is going to go cold."

"Love you too, Wheeljack." Victoria told him casually.

"You too, sis." Wheeljack chuckled and kissed her on her cheek.

"Can you bring Dreadwing here? I want to talk to him about Kyrie. Look, I'll be fine with him on my own. I promised I will be careful. If he does anything rash, I'll punch him. Simple." Victoria promised him when Wheeljack looked alarmed about it.

"Tell you what, I'll stay and then I'll see Tessa. I still don't trust him." Wheeljack wasn't going to take any risk when comes to an ex Decepticon.

"So long you'll see Tessa. I'm okay if she wants to brawl out with me. I'm totally okay if she wants to shoot me too. She's just upset too. If I lost Optimus that way, I would have been more than pissed and destroyed everything in my path." Victoria picked up her chopsticks and she was about to eat.

"Not a chance, Vic and I'm not going to allow that to happen. I will see Tessa after Dreadwing pays you a visit." Wheeljack said over his shoulder as he made his way out of Optimus's quarters.

"Highly unlikely a kid will try to kill me. She's a teenager and I can handle a teenager." Victoria raised her eyebrows. "You're her guardian and I know you are to me too. It's just a little complicated."

"Exactly. You just made my point for me." Wheeljack laughed lightly. "Now, eat up."

Victoria merely smiled in return. Wheeljack felt he really need to fix the situation with Tessa. There was no way in hell he will allow her to brawl with her. But he wouldn't leave her side. Victoria was finally eating again. This time without any issues like last time and she was definitely hungry. Wheeljack smiled happily when she took several big bites. He wasn't sure when the last time she ate properly and he thought she was more skinnier than last time. He left the room.

Victoria took Ratchet's advice. She cleared out her whole plate entirely in record time and was very impressed on his cooking. She didn't realised how hungry she was after normal surgery not to mentioned very light headed. She wasn't sure when was the last time she ate anything. Like the Autobot medic said, she didn't throw up for the first time in ages and she was very thankful.

The red head female agent was still very tired. She wanted to sleep but at the same time she was afraid to sleep because of the constant nightmares she'd received. She was very drowsy and ended up a very short shut eye which did helped. Wheeljack re-entered the med bay and was surprised she really cleared up her whole plate. Of course, still in his human holoform and this time with Dreadwing.

Dreadwing managed to obtained a human holoform. He also did it mainly for his human partner, Kyrie, so he was able to spend more quality time together than intended. True enough, it was a lot easier and he was no longer wearing a Decepticon necklace or a logo on the side of his shoulder. Instead, he was actually wearing an Autobot logo.

Wheeljack was very reluctant to wake her up. He could see how exhausted she is but even at his lightest footsteps in the room cause her to stir awake. Victoria didn't recognised the second human holoform but realised must have been Dreadwing next to Wheeljack. She only recognised it due to the necklace he wore and his eyes had not changed at all but still red.

"I'm sorry to wake you, sis." Wheeljack said apologetically to her.

"It's fine. I'm glad you did."

"Another nightmare?" Wheeljack asked her quietly in a gentle tone.

"No... I'm just scared to sleep. I just don't want to be back there." Victoria admitted to him openly. "Is that Dreadwing in his human holoform?"

Wheeljack sensed she wasn't fond to talk much about it. He merely answered her with a warm hug and a kissed on her head. "I'm not far, kid."

"Thank you, Wheeljack. I really appreciate it." Victoria kissed him on his cheek lightly.

Wheeljack merely ruffled her hair lightly with his human hand. Then stood guard at the entrance with his arms folded across his chest. His eyes ever watchful landed on Dreadwing. But did extend courtesy for him to sit with Victoria. Wheeljack looked like he had second thoughts on this arrangement. Dreadwing sat down next to her.

"It is." Dreadwing spoke up, astounded on her guessed. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit, Agent Valorheart?"

"You're a bomb expert right?" Victoria asked him curiously.

"Yes." Dreadwing looked surprised at this question.

Victoria opened the bedside drawer and pulled out a handful of photos. She handed it to Dreadwing. "This was found at Kyrie's house. Do you know any of the Decepticons that put a bomb in her house?"

Dreadwing looked thoughtful at the photos. "This is a work of art, little one and is not the work of a Decepticon but human. Are you saying Kyrie was the intended target?"

Victoria nodded. "She still is and by the Cemetery Wind. They will never stopped hunting her, Dreadwing. She was the doctor for them and anyone who failed is mark as a traitor."

"Victoria. I thought you should know. During our captivity back at the laboratory warehouse, I heard one of the agent's was negotiating a file with Megatron. I believed the file Cemetery had was Kyrie's and they sold her file to the Decepticons. I believed very much she is compromised." Dreadwing informed her.

"I'm guessing your last meeting with Megatron wasn't at all pretty especially if he knew you protected a human." Victoria gave him a sympathetic choice.

"We didn't meet eye to eye. But I believed Silas intended for me to hear it. Whatever his intention was and I promised you this and I would not put it past Megatron he would not just hunt her but hunt me. I promise you I will give my life to Kyrie." Dreadwing vowed to her.

"I know you will, Dreadwing. I'm really happy for Kyrie. We were bit complicated." Victoria looked guilty. She looked from Dreadwing to Wheeljack.

"You?" Dreadwing replied, disbelievingly. "How can you be complicated with Kyrie if you're her best friend? I thought she's a childhood friend of yours and what do you mean you don't have time?"

"Let's just say Kyrie have a crush on me in a weird way other than my former mentor, Major Lennox." Victoria blushed heavily, surprised she would opened to Dreadwing." She was in love with me for awhile."

"That would certainly explained her strange behaviour." Dreadwing stared at her. "Why would she not tell me?"

"Because she doesn't want to hurt you and she's probably embarrassed. When you really loved someone, Dreadwing, you definitely wouldn't want to tell them but to protect someone else. Look, give her time. She'll opened up to you. Kyrie is the type of person who is really quiet and more quiet than me. She doesn't like to opened up unless she's close to you. I move on from her for a very long time. I just want her to be very happy is all that matters." Victoria advice him wisely.

"Do you think she still love you?" Dreadwing wondered with much curiosity. He didn't even mind Kyrie loved another person and even looked confused on his current situation.

"We have been on and off for a very long time. We haven't have any contact for awhile either. The last time I saw her was on her graduation day. She kissed me by accident and then my former mentor, Will confessed his feelings to me. Look, it's not like I don't care for Kyrie. I loved her but I see her as my best friend and family." Victoria told him seriously.

"Is this the reason why you wanted to see her personally? I feel there's more to just a visit to Kyrie." Dreadwing surmised sharply.

"I wanted to make amends to Kyrie." Victoria started.

"It is not your fault, Agent Valorheart. The way I see it you and Kyrie are both victims to their sick twisted games that you don't deserved. I do not see why you need to make amends to Kyrie. After all, you are only merely following orders from your superiors." Dreadwing said reasonably in a kind tone.

"Kyrie had been my mission for a long time. It's why I must see her. I didn't want to live with any regrets and I just want her to know that I am sorry for everything and I love her very much. She's going to need a friend. More importantly, she's going to need you." Victoria opened the bedside drawers and gave him a letter. "This is for Kyrie. Will you pass it to her?"

"I will. Agent Valorheart. You said you didn't have much time. What has happened that made you so anxious and desperate to see her? I know there is just more than just reasons, Victoria." Dreadwing raised his eyebrows at her.

Victoria shared a look with Wheeljack who merely stared back at her. Dreadwing followed her gazed and saw the Autobot nodded at her. "I'm dying, Dreadwing. There's a strong likelihood I won't survived because of the Dark Energon that lived in my heart."

Shocked written across his face. He gaped at her. "Can the doctor operate on you?" Dreadwing bombard her many questions now. "Can Ratchet dispose of the Dark Energon with Energon?"

Victoria shook her head in respond promptly. "There's nothing that can be done. Energon is already devastating to humans." She said simply.

"That's why you wanted to see Kyrie, to say goodbye to her." Dreadwing looked beat up about the matter.

Victoria nodded in agreement. "I wanted to see Kyrie, one last time. We grew up together as children and we always been close. I fell out of love with her for a very long time, as well as my former mentor, Will Lennox. My heart always belonged to Optimus and I know it for a very long time." Victoria admitted to him.

"I wished I can take you to Kyrie. Perhaps I can make an exception only for your case. But, the fact of your safety remains, Agent Valorheart. She still cannot control her powers." Dreadwing said watchfully.

"How is she?" Victoria asked in a troubled tone.

"She's a mess. She's afraid and thinks she's a danger to herself because of what she is." Dreadwing sighed. "I would relay your message."

"Dreadwing. Please don't tell her I'm dying." Victoria made up her mind. Wheeljack was shocked. He opened his mouth and stared at her. Truthfully he couldn't think of anything to say at least.

"That is not fair on Kyrie! She has a right to know! What am I supposed to say? Lie to her and act like everything is all right when we both know is not? I imagined you did not tell Optimus about your situation either." Dreadwing said disapprovingly at her defensively.

"No, I didn't. I know Optimus would know on his own and he does. Look, Dreadwing. I know Kyrie better than anyone. Trust me. How do you think Kyrie would feel when she learns this news?" Victoria countered back smartly when Dreadwing glared at her. "You got a better idea?"

"Yes! The only way to win her is by telling her the truth, Agent Valorheart! Are you sure you want to travel down this road? I know you don't have any feelings for her anymore, but your friendship means everything to her. Are you willing to destroy your trust with Dr Kyrie Welsh? The way I see it the both of you treasure one another. You may see it right but I personally do not. I guarantee you, she will hate you for it." Dreadwing said, harshly about it.

"Please, Dreadwing. She won't take it well. You have to promise me you won't tell her and you can only tell her once I'm gone." Victoria hugged his arms which made Dreadwing startled by her touch. Her tears flood down suddenly on its own.

Dreadwing clenched his teeth angrily. He was seething. The ex Decepticon closed his optics at her touch. Gently, he closed his hands in return to hers and kissed her hand lightly.

"Agent Valorheart, with all due respect, I am very sure she would want to say her goodbye to you, in person. I cannot do that to Kyrie because I love her very much with all my spark. She would be very mad at me if I am to keep such a dark secret nor it is fair on her to keep her in the dark. That is not fair on her at all. You know I am right on this and as much as I care and loved you, I must declined your wished for both of your sakes in fairness. I am sorry. But I am doing what is best for the both of you."

"I wished I can see her one last time and at the same time I don't want to because I don't want to hurt her because she means the world to me..." said Victoria in a strain voice.

"Perhaps I can ease your conscious a little from her love one last time and a gift from Kyrie." Dreadwing gave a soft feathery kissed on her lips and placed his palms on her jaws.

Victoria's eyes widened in shocked and her tears continue to cascaded roll down her face. She couldn't believed what was actually happening right now and was very glad Wheeljack was in the room with her. Otherwise, who knew what else Dreadwing might do. The female agent just realised why Dreadwing kissed her on the lips. It was supposed to be a goodbye kissed from Kyrie herself to her.

Instead, Dreadwing did more than just a gift to her. Victoria let out a short sensual moan. She still responded to the kissed. His lips was very soft. Dreadwing kissed her a fair few time and even slipped his tongue into her mouth. His hands rested on the side of her temple. His tongue dance along with hers. He went a bit too far even though he had combed through her long red hair with his long fingers. His hands landed around her waist and delicately trace on her back.

But, when he was about to do more than just a kissed and was about to leave a hicky kiss on her neck, Wheeljack stepped right in and pushed him onto the floor roughly. Victoria staggered on the spot and recovered from the kiss, choking and coughing. She gasped. She place her own fingers on her own lips. Her eyes watered and felt her own brain frozen. She couldn't speak or even move let alone to processed what just happened in the room.

"What the fuck, Dreadwing?" Wheeljack said protectively. "No one said you could fucking kissed my sister or do more than that, you glitch!"

"It is indeed a gift from Kyrie to her which was requested from my partner." Dreadwing sneered at his reaction.

"I don't give a fuck on your reasons!" Wheeljack replied defensively. "If you touch my sister again, I will rearrange your damn face!"

"Kyrie asked to kissed her knowing I would visit her." Dreadwing looked amused on his current situation.

"She did?" Victoria was flabbergasted. She coughed more and wiped away his kissed with his arms. "Then she still have feelings for me if she wants to kissed me still. Dreadwing. Why did you kiss me? You know I love Optimus." She sounded pretty lost right now and felt bad for Optimus if he can see what was happening thanks to the relic.

"I am sorry, Agent Valorheart. I truly am. I had always suspected Kyrie was still in love with you and a fair few times she told me if I were to visit you I should kiss you." said Dreadwing sincerely.

"Why?" Victoria looked baffled. "Is this her way to get my attention when she knows my reason to break up with her in the first place? Then, is working poorly. She should know I'm with Optimus and I'm seeing him. I have absolutely no problem she's seeing you, Dreadwing. Wheeljack, can I have water, please? Sorry."

Victoria had always been worried with Kyrie's behaviour and even as drastic as this. She couldn't believed what Dreadwing said but knew it was true. And this was a huge problem. Wheeljack nodded and quickly handed her another water. He stood in front of her to ensure Dreadwing wouldn't kiss her again.

He was shocked just as she was and felt Dreadwing did it on purpose. Victoria quickly drowned the whole water bottle in a matter of minutes. She felt so awful right now. What would Optimus think? She felt her own heart sank like a stone. What would anyone else think? She couldn't function properly and felt somebody had Taser her on the spot.

"I will speak with Kyrie." Dreadwing rose to his full height. "I didn't mean to cross the line here, Agent Valorheart. I am truly sorry."

"How do we know you're telling the truth? Sounds like a whole lot of bullshit." Wheeljack replied with a glare at him.

Dreadwing passed him a piece of paper. "Kyrie wants Victoria to call her when she gets the chance and you can asked her yourself. Goodbye, Agent Valorheart."

"Good-bye, Dreadwing."

Wheeljack was still angry with Dreadwing and reluctantly passed the piece of paper to Victoria. It was Kyrie's phone number.

"Hey Dreadwing."

Victoria looked up when Dreadwing turned around to Wheeljack. In all answer, Wheeljack gave another blow of a hard punch to Dreadwing on the face one last time. "That's for kissing my sister."

"Duly noted, Wheeljack." Dreadwing smiled at him. He didn't blame the Autobot for being over protective on Victoria. He would have done the same thing if he was in Wheeljack's position.
