Summary: Honda Tohru saw a young man that was too familiar to forget a week ago. Three days ago, she glimpsed a view of him on a sport's channel. Today, he entered her classroom on a mission. There goes that secret.

Notes: Totally random and out of nowhere. I really need to be in bed. Oh well.No clue if this is a one-parter or not, we'll see. Oh and I'm working on Dreams, just kinda blocked right now.

When she saw the white cap covering his blue-green hair, she made a double take. He looked the same. Leaner maybe, tanner, probably, but those hawk eyes of his had never changed. They were still as sould peircing as they had been years ago when she had first seen him on the train station.

But what was his name?

The television had been left on due to an inpromptu brawl between Kyou and Yuki, but she was getting used to it. As she made her way to the remote, the news changed subjects as the reporter began to talk about sports.

"Just a few days ago, American Tennis Champ, Echizen Ryoma took a leave of absence for a few months. This was quite spur of the moment due to his acceptence into the Wimbleton Tournament, but-"

Her fingers had finally found the power button and turned off the televsion. though that hand was faintly trembling. She hadn't heard anything about that group for a long time. A group that reminded her of a past that had been so carefree at one time.

"Tohru?"

It was Yuki who had called her and she turned around with a bright smile plastered on her face as she entered the kitchen to resume her life again and not wallow in the memories of the past.

When the door opened to her classroom, she hadn't expected to see him entering the classroom. She only looked up from her notes when the whispers spread like wildfire around the classroom and she heard his name. She glanced up sharply and saw him staring at her as her sensei read the letter.

"Honda-san," Sensei called out, immediatly hushing the whispers. "Echizen, here has a notice that you are needed outside school for family matters. You are dismissed."

The rumors rapidly re-lit as she packed her school items well aware of the stares of Yuki and Kyou weighing heavily on her back.

"Tell Shigure-san that I will not be able to make it home tonight, please." She murmed to the duo as she made her way out of the classroom and followed Echizen to a parked car.

She slid into the passanger seat as he took the driver's seat. The ride was quiet until Tohru finally broke it.

"Is Nii-san ill?" she murmered to him.

Without taking his eyes off the road, he tensely replied, "He was recently in an accident. We do not know when he will wake."

There was a pregnant pause.

"Tezuka-nii-san will wake." She camily stated, not one hint of disblelief in her colouring her tone.

He glanced over to her briefly. "How do you know that?"

Her answer was simple and true.

"He promised to never leave me alone."
