"Heh, I built that." Engineer chuckled, prasing himself as he observed B1 battle droids socialize with eachother during their trip towards the system of Saleucami. "I don't know how long this conflict lasts, but machine more humane than the humans itself is surely a legacy of mine now." He added to his monologue, rolling his eyes left and right with a smile.
"As always focused on machines." Medic laughed, joining him with a cup of coffee in hand. "I managed to find out that Koth will bring only one Venator-class while Grievous goes in with three Munificent-class and single Recusant-class." He added, taking a sip and looking down on Soldier trying to teach BX commando droids on how to rocket jump. "Anyways, how about we go to the bridge and see if we arrived yet?"
"Huh, that was... Unexpected." Scout said, as he and the rest of the BLU Team observed General Grievous and Eeth Koth exchanging their 'kindness' before turning back to them as captured Venator was filled with battle droids and turned on course towards Soldier's Bread Empire that developed on Zyggeria since his last run on this place.
"Yeah, weren't you supposed to kill Jedi on spot?" Bear asked, earning the attention of the two.
"First, that would be Jedi scum for you, *Cough, cough* clone." Kaleeshian Supreme Martial Commander replied, correcting the statement of his supposed designed-to-be enemy. "Eeth Koth is no longer a Jedi, you told me yourself." He added, earning a series of nods from his coworkers. "Originally, I wanted to use our friend as a trap to lure in Republican forces into an ambush *Cough, cough*... But after your revelations, I decided to grant you a chance of making a joint offensive in commonly agreed direction." He ended his speech, for some reason leaving his generally authoritarian way of speaking away.
"Maybe we should take control over the system of Phindar and strike directly at Mandalore?" Engineer siggested first, earning a lot of confused looks. "As the saying goes: If you want a steak, you gotta prove it." He added, making most of the mercs agree that he proposed the ambitious approach.
"Hmm... *Cough, cough* This idea sounds very prospectful. Mandalore already has a supportive for Separatists groups who can be eaisly encouraged to join our effort against the Republic, same for a Phindar, vital point of Salin Corridor." Grievous nodded, seeing the values of both targeted planets.
"Any other ideas lads?" Sniper asked his group, not gaining any better answers. "Okay mate, Phindar and Mandalore seem to be the best choices." He said shortly after, confirming the agreement as Grievous narrowed his eyes in a prideful manner.
"Play ball!" Scout laughed, as he and bunch of B2 battle droids engaged in a basketball match inside one of the free spaces on the ship, Barris and Heavy watching them from above on the balustrade connected to corridors level above them.
"To think that I never concidered this..." Barris sighed, looking at her supposed enemies having actual fun.
"What?" Heavy asked her, passing a sandwitch to passing by B1 battle droid.
"That droids I was supposed to fight against... They are more humane than clones..." She responded, putting her hands together at the handrail as Scout learned how jetpack provides more air superiority than double jump in the background.
"Hmm, as expected." Heavy nodded, looking onto the match with somewhat funky blandness on his face. "Tiny baby green enemy thinks that all not in simystem with him in charge is stoopid." He added, before laughing at the Scout taking a strong his into the face during the unfortunate clash over the ball.
"MEDIC!" Scout cried, as stunned Barris watched a crossbow bolt disappear at the contact with his chest, making all damage go away in a instant. "Thanks Doc!" Scout added joyously, before grabbing the ball and making a perfect three-point throw with the ball.
"Yes, we can heal a lot if we need to." Heavy said, casually eating his sandwitch as Barris slowly processed all events that just happened while Medic jumped between the two with the help of his grappling hook and minor air strifing.
"Hmm, intrested in ze healing I see?" Medic asked, swinging his Solemn Vow around with a smile before handing Barris his Medigun painted into a Spider Season colour scheme. "Take it as a gift, Fraulein, because no one knows when you will need it." He added before leaving the place with Heavy.
"Wo-ho-hooo! I'm on fire today!" Scout laughed, taking Barris attention back as he scored another two points with a classic dunk on the best of his opponents.
"Shame on him..." Spy responded quietly, turning his Invis Watch off and appearing a bit to the right of Barris, unheard by the Scout who went on to boast about himself before the droids.
"What do you mean?" Barris asked, unphased by already known to her sudden appearance he used to do whenever he felt like to.
"Scout is good at his job, preety much as all of us in our team." Spy said, liting up his cigarette and returning to his smoking habit. "However, unlike all the rest of us he's also cocky to the unhealthy measures."
"Isn't overconfidence objectively a bad thing?" Padawan asked, turning her head towards him with a doubtful confusion painted on her face.
"Objectively? No, unless you're told such by superiors from the young age." Spy responded, pointing at her lightsaber with index finger from his free hand. "The case her my dear is that Scout's mentality of 'I will do this' stopped thinking before acting or even measure forces on intentions instead of the other way around." He said, giving her a loose lecture on general self-confidence. "Saying 'I can do this' before doing a thing is good, but only if you actually know what the thing to do is. Otherwise you're as good as dead."
"Oh... Makes sense." Barris responded with a multitude of thoughts in her head, looking down on the floor below her and realising she wasn't actually thinking back about her Master, heck, even about the Jedi Order or even the war as a whole.
"Since now you're actually active in terms of thinking, I feel obligated to offer you a proposition." Spy said, pointing at her newly given Medigun as he took out his slightly dusted Enforcer. "I had a plan to make Scout a decent human-like human being, but needed a support from someone who can have a shot to get inside his head. And little you know..." He paused for a bit, looking around in case anyone heard then. "You're my best shot in this case." He added, throwing his weapon into the air before it perfectly matched with Barris holster around her waist.
"And why would I be the one?" Barris asked him in response. "I mean, I'm still your prisoner and have no connection to him..."
"First, you're a girl not far off from his age. And Scout as majority of irresponsible teenagers has them as his weak spot." Spy began, freezing her from movement with the mere thought of a Jedi descending to lust. "Second, you're the only one on this ship who won't shoot me at sight for such proposal, including the battle droids I command and civilian personel alike." He continued, sending her a communicative look. "Besides, we did told you that you can leave this place freely and never come back if desired... Right?"
