Nora had just finished putting her up paperwork for the evening, nearly completing the last of her grading as she slid them into the filing cabinet, looking forward to all the faces the failed student had received. Though it was hard work, Nora had to admit to herself that looked at people cry and beg for their grade to go up gave her a satisfying feeling in her stomach, as student slowly turned from fairy into a puddle of desperation and pity.

After she had snapped her briefcase shut, Nora was interrupted by a knock on the door, and a woman in a black suit and red tie welcomed herself into the office. She had blond, sleek hair and lavender eyes, her suit jacket velvet, and a shiny, gold watch on her wrist.

"Hey there, Nora is it?", the woman said, making Nora's body tense up in defense, "No no! It's ok! I come in peace! Haha.."

"Yeah. What do you want?", Nora growled, "Can't you see I'm trying to get home."

"Yes of course. I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself a bit since as you know, I'm new and all. My name is Daphne Whitecloud and I had just gotten a position here not too long ago. Uh, I teach probation level 12, not too far from your room."

"Ok? What's that got to do with me? Don't you see I've got better places to be besides standing around here like an idiot?"

"Well yeah, but..oh god, I'm sorry for keeping you long. I was wondering if you and your lovely husband would like to join me at dinner Saturday evening? I've made a reservation at the fancy, Italian restaurant that had just opened up downtown. I'd like to get to know my co-workers a little bit, you know."

"Look, that's great and all but.."

"I'll pay for everything."

"Well hell! How about it!", Nora's tone suddenly lightened up as she shook her hand, before noticing her lavender eyes, "Wait…have I met you somewhere? You look kinda familiar.."

"No ma'am, I think not. Maybe I just look like someone you already know haha.", Daphne backed up, making her way out the door, "Well if you accept my offer, then you and your husband meet me there at 7 tomorrow. Is that ok?"

"Yeah. I'll tell him. Uh..thanks.", Nora grunted as the woman turned around and left. Once she knew that the coast was clear, Nora pulled out her wand and poofed herself back towards her purple cottage, opening the door to the kids sitting at the table with their hands folded and Linnie putting their dinner on the table, smiling politely at Nora.

"O-Oh! Um..hi honey. Well um…you're home quite early. Um..a-and you seem to be in a good mood. Did you get a raise or something, honey?"

"Linnie, you know better than to ask a woman about her money! Besides, I seriously doubt you'd be able to promote me any higher if this place had a damn CEO. No..", Nora sat down, holding her hand out for Linnie to give her a beer, "About time. Anyways, some co-worker that I guess had started yesterday came into my office today. Do you know Daphne? Daphne Whitecloud?"

"N-No"

"No WHAT?"

"No ma'am!"

"Hmph! Well, she invited us to dinner Saturday night at the Italian restaurant downtown and I told her we'd be there. I expect you wear something nice for once. None of that Mr. Rogers bullshit you have going on right now. And you better be wearing some make-up! I don't want you looking frumpy."

"Y-Yes dear of course. Whatever you'd like. Um…oh did you hear the good news?"

"What? Did my order for the whiskey finally fucking come in?"

"Um..n-no. Chelsea, do you want to tell her, sweetheart?", Linnie asked, smiling at his daughter as she held up a paper certificate that said "Honor Roll".

"Mama! I made all As and Bs on my report card! I did it Mama!", Chelsea cheered, as Nora glared at the paper.

"As and Bs? Didn't I tell you I expect nothing less than a fucking A? You think I'm supposed to be proud of your laziness?", Nora crumbled up the paper, throwing it on the ground, "Just for that, you can clean the fucking dishes tonight."

"B-But-"

"No buts! What I say goes! Are we clear?"

"Y-Yes."

"YES WHAT? DON'T ACT LIKE I DIDN'T TEACH YOU ANY FUCKIN MANNERS!", Nora slammed her fist down on the table. Despite being in a good mood, Nora still had one hell of a temper.

"Y-Yes ma'am."

"Good. About time you fucking listen.", Nora said, taking the last sip of her beer, "Linnie, get me another beer, would you?"

When the night came, Nora had made sure Linnie's face was concealed and done up as much as possible. The kids had already been dropped off at Aunt Daisy's, as the two were about to leave for the evening, Nora in her black suit and tie and Linnie in a green sweater vest and tan pants, with a brown belt around his waist. He had also been sporting some rose-scenter perfume that Nora had sprayed all over him.

Nora poofed the two of them to the restaurant and were led to a table after Nora told the hostess about Daphne, who hung around in a black tuxedo.

"Ah Nora! I'm glad you're here! I was starting to think you wouldn't make it. And this is the husband? A pretty man if I do say so myself. How are you, my dear?", Daphne bent over to kiss Linnie's hand gently, before Nora slapped it off, earning the first frown Nora had seen from her.

"Don't flirt with him! The hell's wrong with you?", Nora snapped, making Linnie blush.

"Nora please, don't embarrass me. Um..s-she was just being polite. It's ok.", Linnie chuckled, before looking nervously at Daphne, "I-I'm so sorry about her. She's been having trouble at her department."

"Uh..i-it's alright. I get it. It's nerves. Please, take a seat.", Daphne invited the other to sit down before the waiter came over to their table and passed the wine menu, only for Linnie to smile softly and hand it back.

"O-Oh no..I'm sorry. I-I don't drink. I really shouldn't.", Linnie said softly, as Nora rolled her eyes. Daphne couldn't help but arch her eyebrows at this conversation.

"Give me your Cabernet Sauvignon and make it fast!", Nora snapped, "I don't wanna have to wait all goddamn day for a drink, you know."

"Nora please.."

"Hush Linnie!", Nora yelled as the waiter took Daphne's order and flew away, Nora turning her attention to Daphne, "Uh sorry about him. He just likes being ungrateful, I guess."

"Uhm..he's not being ungrateful? He just doesn't drink. I respect that. It's no big deal, really.", Daphne shrugged before looking at Linnie, the smile back on her back, "So, do you still work at the academy or.."

"O-Oh no! I-I used to work at the daycare here before it shut down a-and now I work form home. W-We have three beautiful children and one even made the honor roll! I'm so proud!"

"Seriously Linnie? You're fucking proud over a B?", Nora growled, "Don't you realize she could've done so much better? Daphne, you got any damn kids?"

"Just the son. He did make distinguished honor roll."

"See? Distinguished! Why the fuck can't any of or kids do that, huh? Well actually..now that I think about it, it makes sense. I mean they did inherit your brains after all.", Nora roared, "Now, Where's my goddamn drink?"

"Ok Nora, take it easy!", Daphne snapped, the waiter placing the wines in front of the two women, "Why don't we just all have our drinks and relax? Are you two ready to order?"

"About time you came here with my fucking wine! Geez, is everyone here except for me so goddamn lazy!", Nora ranted, "Anyways, get me the fucking Risotto! And maybe a salad for the bitch right next to me. He needs it."

"N-Nora..", Linnie squeaked, looking down at his stomach. His sweater vest did a good job hiding his stomach, and he didn't feel like he was fat. Maybe he was a little bloated, but he certainly wasn't fat…was he?

"Uh..can we have a moment to look things over?", Daphne asked the waiter, "I need to have a little chat with her anyways."

"Wait! Did you get my fucking order? Tell me you got my fucking order!", Nora yelled, the waiter standing there awkwardly.

"Uh..w-well miss, I think I'll just come back until everyone's ready."

"Oh hell no! We've been here for 30 minutes and all you've fucking brought us was some fucking drinks!", Nora screamed, causing Linnie to cover his face in his arms, "I ain't got time for this bullshit! Go make my fucking food, Super Mario with your fatass!"

"N-Nora please.."

"Ok you know what? Waiter, one moment please.", Daphne waved him off before glaring at Nora, "You know what Nora? There's something I've been hiding form you, and you know what, I just can't take it anymore."

"Huh? And what's that? Do you have a pornstar husband or some shit?"

"Nope.", Daphne took her wand and waved it on herself, revealing black hair with cold, silver eyes instead. Her hair, instead of being straight, was curled, and she threw her job ID down on the table, revealing to be her boss, Miss Ridge Silverwing, who glared coldy at Nora, "You can gather your things first thing Monday morning. You're fired."

"W-Wait..what? What the fuck? You set me up! Y-You can't fire me! I'm your best worker!"

"Correction…WAS my best worker. The Fairy Academy was founded on the principle of discipline and respect; two values that you have clearly shown me you lack. Now, if you don't want me to get in touch in Jorgen, I'd advise you to quit arguing and gather you things come Monday.", Ridge got up from the table, looking sadly at Linnie, "Well, I've suddenly lost my appetite. It was a pleasure meeting you, Mr…"

"O-Oh Linnie. I-I'm so sorry about all of this. I-I am just beyond humiliated right now."

"It's not your fault.", Ridge sighed, before making her way towards the exit, before Nora tugging on her jacket.

"Wait! Where the fuck are you going? You're supposed to pay for our damn meals! You said so?"

"Well, now I guess you two will be washing dishes now. Not my problem.", Ridge shrugged, "You have a good evening, Linnie."

Nora threw herself in her seat as the food had arrived, stuffing the noodles in her face angrily as she kept ordering and sipping wines as they came and went. Finally, when the evening was finished, Nora found herself in hot water as the check had came….totaling a good $500.

"I-I can't pay this shit! W-What the hell? $500? That's fucking crazy! Hell, I'm out of here!", Nora trembled as she nearly fell out of the table, Before she could make her way towards the exit though, two of the waiter caught her, and lifted her off the ground, carrying her away to wash dishes and scrub the toilets to repay for their debt.
