Chapter 33: Paraiso Mayhem, Part 1
Paraiso was what one would expect from a top-notch summer destination.
It was sited on a tropical island that had been owned by Messiah's family for ages. It was initially seen as the main setting for many study expeditions to explore Neo-Earth's fauna during the first years of the repopulation era. It continued to have that role until the current owner's parents started to lessen the presence of facilities and turned their focus into a more business-centered interest for the sake of their coffers. Messiah was the one that started the trend of expanding the normal holiday destination as one of the greatest in the continent, but was more than once criticized for her interest in keeping the business limited to women.
The only males allowed in the island were generally workers that were limited by their contract to not engage in any 'outrageous' behavior with fellow workers and the guests staying at the resort. Nothing really 'wrong' with being this restrictive if the fact was publicized, but I was nonetheless confused when Ambar made it appear like things had changed… when it actually didn't. So, when I arrived at the private jet the woman had set for me, I expected to have a smooth flight to the destination and then spend a surprise holiday with my girlfriend.
It… didn't go as expected. Not when some of the guards suddenly approached me and bound me up with some ropes before ditching me in a small rear section of the plane where I made some introductions with the two individuals that had been tricked into this matter too. The first one was a bit of a surprise as his appearance was familiar. He actually didn't change much. Blond hair that was long enough to be combed in a short pony-tail, the White Tiger Prime had green eyes that quickly darted to look at me as I got thrown inside the room. The guy was quite short, almost looking to be eighteen despite him being older as far as I remembered his age being.
"Shin?"
He blinked, surprised at the fact that I knew his name and he couldn't remember mine. It took him a while, but then realization struck him from the way he looked suddenly surprised at seeing me here.
"D-Declan? You have been taken here too?"
"Yep."
"It's… it's been years."
I nodded. "I've just started getting 'back' to my social life. I met Naerie a while ago and… congratulations."
"Thanks, I guess," Shin admitted sheepishly, knowing I was referring to his relationship with the Bear Prime. "Still, why did… Did Ambar bring you here?"
I could tell from that guess that him, me, and the guy sulking by the corner had been tricked in a similar manner. The main coefficient of our current issue was the High Prime from the looks of it.
"That would be correct, yes," I confirmed, turning my attention to the third member of this odd expedition. "And who are you?"
"...Drake."
I frowned. "Beg your pardon."
"Drake, my name is Drake," He huffed, turning around and revealing a good part of his current details. Fennec Fox Prime with light-brown fur, dark-brown hair and green eyes. He had some dark marks on his left side- Narakhan. This was quite the surprise.
"Nice to meet you."
"Declan and Shin, right?" He inquired, and he smiled lecherously. "Are you two coming to the island to have fun with the ladies?"
I felt my jaw dropping at that, but it was Shin that recovered quick enough. "I-I think we were asked to come to the island for different reasons from one another."
"Helping at work. Ambar would help around the place," I replied quickly, trying to see what was the other's reward… except for Drake. The Narakhan made it clear what he was after on this trip.
"It's more... Naerie asked me to come and check. I don't know why so… yeah."
"And I'm getting some ladies, nerds~!"
Shaking my head, I gave a serious look at the poor moron for failing to realize he got scammed the most.
"Drake… you know that the island we're going to, while it has an only-female population as of now, has strict rules in handling men intruding Paraiso?"
His mouth opened, and some of that joy faltered as he realized that it wasn't something good.
"What are you talking about, Human?"
"Lady Messiah has forbidden men from the resort for years now. I… I kind of thought the situation had changed since-"
"Ambar has said we could go," I concluded the grim revelation we were slowly unraveling. It shouldn't have been a surprise… but it had. To believe that Ambar actually came up with such a massive prank on us. Maybe it wasn't but… it sure felt like this visit wasn't completely worth it. Still, there wasn't much of a choice to make at this point as we could only wait as the flight was a smooth and quick one. One that concluded as soon as the transport plane landed in one of the few small landing ports within the outskirts of the resort.
Once there, the pilot gave us a backpack and a map. The map had some points highlighted to suggest where some 'shelters' were supposed to be across the island, while the backpack was packed with supplies for the three of us and some other resources meant to survive… feasible. It didn't take long for some bickering to ensue. Drake wanted the backpack, but I argued it was best for me to pick it. Shin didn't mind, mostly because he wasn't exactly familiar with the situation and knew that he wasn't up for the task. Still, he agreed I was the best choice.
"Oh? So you picked the human because-"
"You are a pervert that is going to get out and into the first pair of boobs we end up finding on this island," I interjected flatly. "And don't play the racist card, I really don't care about a few tattoo-like marks."
"Yeah, it's more… you're not exactly reliable from a personality standpoint."
He opened his mount in protest, but Drake seemed to agree that, had he been put in our shoes, he would have distrusted the cheeky perverted moron himself.
"Fair point. But I really want to see boobs."
"And I reckon you also want to not get captured while doing that, right?" I asked with a sigh, gaining a nod from him. "Then the priority right now is to find one or two of these safe houses, get a clear understanding of the situation and… get those walkie-talkies on us all the time."
I finished that plan of action by giving two of the three devices to the group, effectively giving ourselves the means to communicate without relying on phones. Drake didn't seem to have one, so this was only for the best in the long-run. The adventure was finally starting in what was going to be a long experience to try and survive the intricate mess that was the horde of women that will rightfully start to hunt us down for various reasons. Some good ones, others… Well, it was going to be a tough challenge to go through. Things were supposed to keep quiet until we were somewhat spotted. That was what I imagined would have started the whole hunt but… Ambar had other plans as I would soon learn about.
Some frustrating plans at that.
Mora had been enjoying the holidays just fine.
Things had been great despite how she missed her partner by the bedside, his attention, his smile and all of those things that got her the happiest even in the toughest moment at the farm. The resort was plain divine, with the quality of the various services offered as satisfying as Alejandra had said those were. Speaking of the fellow Cow Prime, Alej was enjoying this vacation the most by being around Tootsie. The brunette was just given a full glimpse of the state of their relationship.
The Mouse Prime knew how to speak with her boss, and their interactions were quite sweet all the time, showing how their qualities and flaws fitted well with one another during this circumstance. The only sad note was that there were no guys as Declan had told her. Messiah, despite being a kind host, was still someone that didn't like the idea of having males on her island, but she mentioned with fondness that she remembered the human in a good manner. Still, no invitations for him or others. Which was quite sad but… not as unexpected as the situation she stumbled upon on her own.
Hope had also been invited and decided to take part in most of the water action unfolding with other girls. Beach volley was also her favorite playground as she smacked around a couple of girls with her skills in the sport… until it was Mora's turn. Despite her preference lying on strength, the Cow Prime was an all-around player when it came to sports. And beach volley was no exception as the Gazelle Prime soon learned. That, and the fact that Geecku didn't know how to play the game. This last bit wasn't that much of a surprise, but it came to a painful stop when the girl actually bit the ball while catching it in her mouth and bust it with her teeth. The Life Crest was a bit saddened by this mistake, but she seemed to cheer up when she was allowed to play with Sarah with another ball, this time it was just her and the blonde Cat Prime.
No beach volley meant talking with Hope and… her being quite flirty about her lonely presence there. It wasn't a shock for Mora, but it definitely made interactions fairly awkward at times. The only saving grace was… Well, Grace. Hope's mother was quite open herself, but seemed to pick up fairly swiftly how the Cow Prime wasn't just open to jump the gun at the first stud or gal that got her attention. Talking with the married woman actually resulted in refreshing and appealing discussions where the two could converse about… marriage. And the act of setting up a family.
Much to her relief, Grace was more than happy to expand on this, and give some advice to 'not rush things up, but still start with a good first step'. Hope would pipe in at times with some lewd remarks… and then she would end up facing one of those individuals Mora remembered her calling 'party-poopers'. Cue Hope's younger sister and perhaps the one individual that Mora could actually relate to and find some connection to, Joy Ravenhurst. The girl was much younger than she was, but the way she handled people and conversation was not new to the Cow Prime.
She acted as Hope's foil on most occasions by joking about her lack of proper romance in her relationships, which tended to set up some strong bickering between the siblings. It was generally intense, but they both knew how to stop due to how old they were and how long this messy kind of interaction had been going on. Still, the moment they were introduced, something clicked in a friendly way. The girl had her experience, a tough kind of life with the training and current job she got, and some love troubles she couldn't help but find a solution to due to her mother and sister being… well, a bit too intense about it.
So, when Mora offered advice without going too sexual about it, the pink-eyed girl was eagerly sponging at what experience the Cow Prime could offer her without being too pushy on the subject. It was a good distraction and it made the interactions with most of the Ravenhurst family fairly easy to handle on the norm. But then, something happened during the holiday which made things… well, terribly complicated. It all started when a special announcement was issued by the High Prime. The Bear Prime was just beaming in pure amusement when she delivered the 'bad news' that some men had been spotted lurking within the island. What really made the already odd development 'odder' was the general details offered about the targets of the new game. They had to capture a White Tiger Prime, a Fennec Fox Prime and… a human. Sure, there were millions of humans, but for some strong reason, Mora decided to take a precautionary step.
"Digit?"
The Spirit appeared without any hesitation. "Yes Mom?"
Her lips twitched in delight at the way she addressed her. Still, this matter was important and it had to be checked out.
"Is Declan still at the farm?"
The girl was confused, but still decided to check as asked. It took her a few seconds to get some result which left her even more perplexed. "He is… not?"
"Can you track his phone?"
Digit compiled again, and the research took a little more, but gave a solid response to the inner question that was slowly forming within her mind. It would normally be this pressing of suspicion, but she could tell this was actually the case.
"He is in… Paraiso. Right now."
Mora sighed. "Can you please call him, dear?"
The spirit had heard that tone being used just rarely, and yet she knew that the Cow Prime was far from happy about the overall situation.
"Hello?"
"So, how is Paraiso, Bae?"
Just a fine beginning to a very intense call, that much both girls could agree on.
"It's… pleasant. How are you?"
"I was fine until I heard that two Primes and a human are currently intruding the island."
"...Can I explain? I was actually asked by Ambar to do this."
The woman frowned at this. "What about?"
"Well, she said she would have advertised the farm more. More ads means more revenue," Declan elaborated. "I saw she was making a compelling point and I accepted her offer."
"And you agreed to that… just for that?"
"I also kind of wanted to make a surprise. I didn't know this place was still following the old rules until it was too late. Ambar made it appear like males were now allowed in rare exceptions."
Her expression softened. "Still, that doesn't mean I will not join the others in hunting you down. It's a new 'game'."
"A what?"
"Ambar created a new game. The ones that capture the intruders get a free wish out of her."
"She what?!"
"You're currently being hunted down by many women. I can tell a few want the open wish Ambar promised them, but I can tell a couple are after something more than just capturing you and your 'friends'."
"Well, ain't it sweet..."
"Trust me, it's even worse than that," The Cow Prime argued, just now realizing that she had gone through this whole process while Hope was nearby to listen to her. "I think a mutual friend of ours, a therapist, is on the way to do way more than I would allow."
"...Oh no."
"Yep. You better be hiding and be safe when I find you."
"What if… I didn't let you capture me?"
"I believe there is a warm couch waiting for you at home in that case."
"Dear-"
"Nope. Your ass is mine, honey. And I'm getting it back to safety right now," Mora interjected stubbornly. "See you soon."
The call ended before the human could say anything more about it but… now there was a good reason to start getting moved. Knowing Rachael and Geecku, there was no way these two didn't realize that the human in question was the very one they had met as of recently. The brunette didn't lose time in trying to track down her boyfriend with Digit's help. It sure was going to be quite a nightmare, but she knew she could do it.
Hopefully, her lover will manage to dodge the hordes of horny women coming his way.
Hope was no runner, but today was the best day to run.
And she wasn't letting anyone else get to her target before she was done with him. Declan was out in the open, ready to be taken, cuddled up and then shown the ways of love he definitely knew and needed to feel again. A wild grin on her face, she never felt her stamina expand this much in a mad chase around the island.
She might not have a technological advantage but she had something that made her stand out from the rest. Her power allowed her to track down specific love auras. And Declan was fairly unique compared to the rest of the people on the island. Hunting him down was going to be an easy task, the rest… Oh boy, the rest was going to be an intense smutty mess she was going to absolutely remember for the rest of her life.
The girl had a lot of 'thank yous' to deliver in the form of physical affection, and she wasn't letting go of him until he was willing to let out a proper 'you are welcome' by returning said eagerness. Her legs burned, but the burn just made the entire pace double in pure earnestness. She was out for a man, and she wasn't going to stop until she got him for herself.
Many women were also near to her, but none had the same fortitude and determination as her. It sure surprised her when her mother, giggling and pestering a frustrated Joy, were on the prowl to hunt down the trio of men themselves. Actually, was Drakey in there too? That would make this even funnier if it was indeed the case. But for now Hope could ignore those she had the chance to already explore. Her aim was set to the ultimate prey, and she wasn't going to let anyone else claim him for themselves.
Declan was going to be ours for the time being… until Mora joined. Then it was going to be even more delightful. Of that, she was sure about it.
AN
The chase unfolds. Declan better be moving his legs really fast if he doesn't want to get caught by the legion of women after him and his new friends.
Of course, it's going to be… extremely delicious.
Ambar-
There is nothing wrong with some fun games. Why, how about we talk about 'your' time in Paraiso-
I refuse, and I have to go now.
Oh? What are you going to do then?
Uh… writing more?
Get some rest from time to time, or I will be 'forced' to enforce some cuddling time on you.
...Fine.
