"San Juan, Puerto Rico."
She reads, once she have managed to find the right mission file in D.O.S.A's system, which had been a bit harder than she expected it to be. At least she had been right, the 0-8-4 they are looking for isn't in Portland.
"Puerto Rico? What could be of interest there for D.OS.A?"
She hears Ezekiel asks and she can hear how both Flynn and Jake starts to list of everything they know about the city and its history, and between the two of them, it was everything that is known. Rolling here eyes, Skye reaches for the globe standing in the table before throwing it up in the air to activate it. Seeing it active, Flynn and Jake grows silent.
Moving her hands, she turns the glowing globe around them and zooming in on San Juan, seeing different artefacts flashing by, none of what she is looking for. She soon stops when her eyes lands on the last thing she wanted to see again. A stone like object, bending slightly like a V at the top is showing right in front of her.
"I have never seen something like that however, now this is vexing. Hey, I'm using vexing again."
Flynn days beside her and Skye can't help but to roll her eyes, leave it to Flynn and his brain to jump quickly between being serious and something completely random.
"It's called a Diviner, a containment device to keep something much more powerful safe inside. The Diviner can either be a life saver or the very thing that will kill you by simple touch."
Skye tells them, eyes never moving from the object, feeling a flash of pain going through her body as old memories starts to resurfacing. Turning her head away from the object, she holds up her hand and the globe deactivates and falls to her hand once more and she place it back to where it belongs.
"Never heard about something like that before... and I'm quite sure we didn't have something like that in the Library."
Flynn starts to say as Skye turns her attention to the laptop once more, getting out of D.O.S.A's system and into S.H.I.E.L.D's, or rather, into the BUS to see where they are in this moment.
"That's because that mission was never logged in the Librarian books, and there has never been a Diviner inside of the Library walls. There are only a few of those left, the last one destroyed and I had hoped I would never see a second."
She explains and she can fell their eyes on her once more, she does however ignore them completely. Seeing that the 616 isn't far from the destination, she knows they will have to work fast.
"Get yourself ready, we need to head out now. We can't let the Diviner fall into D.O.S.A's hands."
She says and thinks that she can't let S.H.I.E.L.D have it either and she close down the laptop. Turning her attention towards Jenkins, she can see how he starts heading for the larger globe to activate a backdoor for them.
"Meet back here in five with whatever you think you'll need. Otherwise I head out without you all."
She tells the Librarians and the Guardian before turning around and heading out of the room. As she walks down the corridors once more, the Library do lead her directly to her room. Opening the door, she sees that nothing in there has changed in the years she has been gone.
Smiling at this, Skye heads for her wardrobe and pulls the doors open. A black leather jacket greats her. Reaching out, she carefully touches the jacket, almost afraid it will break at her touch. When it doesn't, she takes it of its hanger and pulls it on.
The jacket was a gift, with a spell that will hide her wings no matter the size they take on. She didn't thought she would ever need to use it, she had always been able to hide them in a normal jacket, it had however grown harder to hide them as of late. It was a perfect gift but after all the stories she had grown up hearing about the sorceress who gave it to her, she had been a bit worry to use it.
Now she knows better and she can't take any more risks. And Morgan Le Fay had but down a lot of time and magic to make her such a perfect leather jacket that would always fit her. All she needed to do is to keep quiet about who gave it to he r now, otherwise she would never hear the end of it from Jenkins.
Feeling how Cal nudge her shoulder, she turns to look at him, smiling sadly.
"I'm sorry old friend, but I need you to stay in the Library and protect it. Just in case D.O.S.A decides to come here instead."
She tells him as she reached into her wardrobe once more to locate a bag. Finding it and a pair of pilot sunglasses that she puts on, she turns to head out of the room when sees her own reflection in the mirror. It makes her freeze up and make a double take. For a split second, she thought she saw May in the mirror and not herself. But as she takes in her own appearance once more, she can't help but think that she do resemble a younger looking May.
Shaking that thought out of her mind, she turns for the door and heads out. She couldn't be thinking about something like that now, especially not after betraying them for a second time. Taking in a deep breath, she enters the work room to see that the rest of the team is ready.
"Well then, fire up the back door Jenkins."
She orders as she steps for the doors. Seeing how Jenkins starts the machine up, Skye puts her hand on door handle. The moment she gets an all clear from Jenkins, she pulls the door open and steps through. As she looks around herself, she is quite surprised how close Jenkins have managed to get them to the underground city.
"Wow, where are we?"
She hears Jake ask as she steps over to one of the walls, her hand a few centimetres from touching the wall and the symbols on it.
"Right underneath the Fort of San Cristóbal."
She tells him, placing her hand on the wall, opening up the secret passage in. With a quick look over her shoulder, Skye can see that Jake was about to start talking about the Fort, only to grow silent and eyes wide like the rest of them when the wall opens.
"Alright, let's get over this again. When we find the Diviner, do not touch it with your bare skin! We don't want to lose anyone on there, do not touch anything else in there, we do not know what else can trigger something and let's try too keep..."
She starts to explain, her eyes have been traveling back into the old city in front of her but as she turns her attention back to where the Librarians and Guardian had been standing she let's out a heavy sigh.
"Together."
She says to herself since the others have head inside during her speech. Shaking her head, she puts her hands into her jacket pockets before heading into the city herself. Mumbling about foolish Librarians and how they never think further than their nose.
