Tapping her foot, she is starting to grow inpatient with the rest of the team. Skye had been right, the clip-book had turned new page, it was however blank. But from the information Skye sent her, Nicole knows exactly what they are up against this to around. And it was her time around to wish they were not. At least its not as bad as what Skye had to go through.
Hearing the voices of the Library team, Nicole crosses her arms and narrows her eyes, turning them towards the door that leads to the Library. Cassandra is the first one to enter, she was laughing as she did but the moment she sees Nicole, her laughter dies and she comes to a stop. Jake and Ezekiel was right behind her and they take their spots on either side of Cassandra, their own smiles are gone too.
"What's going on?"
Eve asks somewhere behind the former Lit's before she and Flynn push themselves through, only to end up standing around looking like fools when they see her.
"Well, isn't it about time you all show up. We have a case and it is quite a time sensitive one."
Nicole tells them before nodding her head towards the clip-book, at this action the group heads over. The moment they see its a blank page however, they turn their heads towards her once more.
"Skye called, S.H.I.E.L.D is on their way to handle an 0-8-4 mission. After she did some digging, she realises this is an object that should be within the Library's walls. And yes, I know the clip-book isn't giving us much to go on..."
"More like nothing at all."
Jake comments, making Nicole roll her eyes, but ignoring the comment for now.
"Thanks to the information Skye sent me, I know exactly what they are looking for and she is right, that Grimoire needs to be taken here."
She finished explaining and she can see how Flynn is thinking hard.
"How do you know its Grimoire?"
Eve asks and Nicole is happy to have someone around to ask the important questions from time to time.
"Because I stole it right underneath an older Librarian years ago and then I hide it away in one of my old graves. I didn't expect anyone to dig it up."
"I have so many questions about that part but we can deal with those later. What we need now is a plan on how to handle this."
"I have a simple one, you four..."
Nicole starts to say, pointing at Eve, Flynn Jake and Ezekiel as she says it.
"Will head in, find the person using the book and take it away. Cassandra and I will try and act as distraction."
She continues and she can see Eve going over this plan in her head.
"When you say distraction you mean?"
"Accidentally run into Skye and the S.H.I.E.L.D team and strike up a conversation."
Nicole answers, keeping the knowledge that Skye's team don't know anything about them to herself for the main time. Which in the long round is a stupid idea. Seeing how Eve accepts this plan with a nod of her head.
"Anything else we should know about the book before we head in?"
"If its open, close it as fast as possible. Its only a threat if it open."
She tells them and she can see a hint of worry about this in their eyes.
"Oh, it's the book against three Librarians and a Guardian, it won't stand a chance."
She adds, hopping this will help them stay calm. Remembering how much trouble she had when trying to get the book the first time. Seeing how the team in front of her nods their heads at least, Nicole turn towards the old globe and activates it. They have already wasted enough time, now was the time to take action. As she opens the large doors, she let's Eve, Flynn, Jake and Ezekiel step through first, grabbing hold of Cassandra.
"Just a warning, Skye's team doesn't remember what went down that day a few weeks ago, I think it's for the best if you let me and Skye do most of the talking."
She tells the red-haired Librarian in a low voice. She can see that Cassandra wish to ask more about this news, but she nods her head for now. Letting go of her, the two steps through the door to see that the others was waiting for them.
"Find the book as fast as possible and get back, text me once you are all safe and sound in the Library."
Nicole tells them and Eve nods her head, the three Librarians is already walking away.
"Good luck."
Nicole adds Eve follows after the boys. Looking around herself, Nicole tries to figure out exactly where they are and where the best place to meet Skye and S.H.I.E.L.D will be. Taking out her phone once more, she uses the program Skye sent along side the inform, a way to track her phone just in case.
"Come on, this way."
She tells Cassandra, nodding her head down one of the roads and they start walking. Cassandra is looking around herself s they walk, her attention turning towards Nicole every now and again, her eyes then travelling towards Nicole's phone.
"If you want to ask something, just ask."
Nicole tells her after a few minutes of this behaviour, rolling her eyes in the progress.
"I just, how are we going to do this? What's the plan?"
Cassandra asks, making Nicole turn her head to look at Cassandra. She had not thought about this part, not to a full at least. Coming to a stop, she looks down at her phone and the map once more. Finding the perfect spot, she starts moving once more, in a faster tempo this time, forcing Cassandra to half run after her.
Reaching the destination she had in mind, Nicole stops quickly, holding out her hand and grabbing hold of Cassandra in the progress and pulling her back. They are standing at a corner and from the way Skye is moving on her phone, they will past this location.
"On my signal, I need you to walk around this corner."
Nicole tells Cassandra, keeping her eyes on her phone as she does. She can feel Cassandra look at her and as she glance up, she can see the Librarian open and close her mouth a few times, trying to say something. Seeing the dot move closer and closer, Nicole looks up at Cassandra properly.
"Now."
She says in a low voice, she can see that Cassandra wish to argue with her, but she do as she is told. Stepping around the corner, Nicole hear how she walks right into someone, and hearing how Cassandra and the person she walked into says I'm sorry at the same time, Nicole hears it was the right person.
Putting her phone away, she collects herself and moves around the corner, moving like she haven't been standing still waiting.
"Cassandra, are you alright?"
She asks, acting worried at the same time. The sight in front of her however makes her want to laugh. It had turned out a lot better than she would have thought.
