A/N: Hello again people. Just wanted to thank you guys for the kind words and reviews I have been receiving recently as well as all those who have followed and favourited the story. To already have over 150 followers and over 100 favourites on my first story is just crazy to me and I'm deeply grateful that so many of you guys are enjoying it.

Also, the poll for Phoenix's romantic pairing is now live on my profile. BUT WAIT! Before you vote, please read my replies to the suggestions and reviews you guys gave. It might change your opinion on who you want to see since I will be sharing some of my opinions on the matter as well as which pairings I have already got some good ideas for how a romantic arc would go between themselves and Phoenix. I also gave each person 2 votes for now as their are quite a few options available. If the poll voting ends up being relatively close at the top, I will create a new one with the most popular choices so that your guys wishes are most well represented. If its a landslide vote at the top, I wont bother at all.

I also plan on letting this poll run for quite awhile, around until The Lightning Thief arc is complete so that new followers and viewers can vote as well. So if you wish to wait and see the story develop more and Nick interact with more characters before voting, you have plenty of time to do so. I think thats everything I wanted to say though, so lets get to the reviews!

Mewingdog- Awesome chapter ️... for the pairing .. Artemis / Diana is the best choice yet or you can do exotic and try Aphrodite.

Thanks for the review, I appreciate it. As for the two suggestions, these are actually the ones I wanted to give my opinions on most so I thank you once again.

Regarding Artemis/Diana, although a popular pairing in our community, I have a few good original ideas of how to go about it without it seeming forced or cringy considering Phoenix's first interaction with them didn't go to well. I won't say much on the matter but if I did end up with that pairing, I would likely draw inspiration from how vPxForerunner x portrays Artemis's split personality with her Roman side in TITAN OF THE HUNT, a great fanfic by the way. BUT I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO MAKE PHOENIX A GUARDIAN OF THE HUNT AS PART OF IT. Not another one of those stories for me thank you. Just not enough originality available if I went that direction.

Now Aphrodite/Venus is a very interesting idea, one I am actually quite excited about the prospect of. Of course, Aphrodite wouldnt be portrayed exactly how she normally is in fanfics, but the way she is portrayed in canon wont be ignored by myself either. She will have flaws but so does Nick and he would be willing to accept them and she would change for him slightly. I already plan on Nick and Aphrodite having some form of relationship, platonic or not, that begins during The Lightning Thief arc so it won't be a sort of out of the blue thing. Perhaps you should wait to see how they interact with each other before voting...
I also promise it won't be some cringy, sexual pleasure based thing either and I have an idea of how to give them a good story full of twists and turns. I had alot to say on Aphrodite since I dont like the way she is normally portrayed in fanfics. Yes, she messes with Percy's life but so does every other god yet she is always portrayed as some heartless bitch. She is the goddess of Love for crying out loud. She must have a deeper understanding of it than most, be it romantic, familial or platonic love. Anyways, thats all I had to say on the matter.

Plebston323- Thalia would be best unless you can somehow get Zoe shipped with him.

Thalia seems like a popular option and one I'm happy to go about writing as well. Obviously, it wouldn't be love at first sight with them two and would be a long road to love, like I plan to do with most pairing anyway. In terms of Zoe, she might be a bit more difficult to create a believable romantic arc about than even Artemis but I still have ideas about how I would go about it. From the previous chapters you all know Phoenix finds her extremely attractive as well so who knows...

Nirmtheworm14- I'm voting Calypso. Nice chapter!

Why thank you once again for the kind words Nirm. Still love the name btw. Calypso is also an interesting possibility. I will say that with how I see Calypso, the only way I would go about the pairing would be to only introduce her further down the line though. Maybe not Battle of the Labyrinth far though. This is because if this pairing were to happen, Phoenix would obviously end up on the island. And without a fatal flaw of loyalty that Percy has, and definitely a grudge regarding how the gods treat others, whos to say Phoenix wouldn't just choose to be with Calypso if they fall in love, whatever the consequences considering Percy supposedly does fine without his help anyways in the books. Since the two will definitely fall for each other right away in my opinion, Calypso would have to be introduced to the story later than others. Not to say their wouldnt be twists and turns in their relationship as well.

Grim Riper- The MC should be paired with Artemis... Because come on, can you imagine the chaos that would cause? The irony the hilarity! The WHAT THE FUCK! how did this happen? That would ensue! And I mean he's already best bros with Apollo let's make it a little more official Shall we. ',:-)
And it also gives you the ability to write serious/dramatic moments and very slapstick moments as well. So win-win.
Otherwise Thalia Grace is my second choice still funny, still middle fingery. Just not as funny as the first option.
For Chaos! For Ragnarok!
Love Your Story by the way.

For Chaos! For Ragnarok! For Ra!
... Wait what? I'm not hinting at anything. No not at all. Thanks for the review Grim and yes the Artemis/Diana pairing would be a very funny and interesting story. And how would his relationship with Apollo be affected would be a good question. After all, Apollo isn't known to play nice with male friends of Artemis... who knows if he could accept his best bud Phoenix courting his sister.

Anyways, thats my opinions regarding your suggestions guys, all of which I am happy to write about. I also added a few other women to the poll such as Reyna and Hylla who I plan on our OC interacting with and have thought about pairing with him in the past. If you have any other ideas for pairings let me know. As long as I can see a way of doing so without having to change my other plans too much, I'm happy to add others to the poll.

Anyways, sorry for the long A/N but I wanted to give you guys my opinions all at once before you decided to vote. Thanks everyone else for the positive reviews and continuing to show love for the story. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

"Hello, son." Pluto replied, standing ten feet away, his face unreadable. He looked exactly the same as he did the last time I saw him all those years ago. Same black suit, pale skin, and Onyx black eyes that I saw every time I looked in the mirror but without the outline of flames that flickered inside my pupils. The only difference is that Pluto now held a gleaming celestial bronze Greek war helmet by his side, pictures of death and destruction decorated on it. The Helm of Darkness. It surprised me a little that he was holding it, the God's tended not to show their symbols of power unless they needed to use them in canon.

Pluto noticed me eyeing his helm, raising his eyebrow in response. The helm was then surrounded in shadows before disappearing. I looked back at my father, who seemed to be just analysing me, unsure what to say. We stayed like that for a minute or two until he finally broke the silence.

"You seem to be doing well for yourself sll things considered." He said, looking around at the fire, chairs and the tent.

I just continued to look at the man in front of me, offering no response. I was extremely confused. This is the man who had thrown three of his children into the Lotus Casino in order to protect them. He had given an 8-year-old a Godly level weapon as a form of protection when he realised he couldn't be around me anymore. All of this would point towards him being extremely protective of his children. Yet upon realising I was free from the Lotus Casino, which I have no doubt occurred as soon as I used my powers against the hunters now, he waits nearly half a day to find me. And when he does, he acts completely relaxed, with no worries and his Helm casually resting by- HIS HELM!

I scoffed as I hit upon a realisation, which Pluto merely tilted his head in response to.

"Come on then Dad, lets chat then. You've already been nearby watching me for the last 12 hours so you don't need to pretend you have no idea what I have been up to for the last 2 months either," I said, turning around and sitting down on a chair, leaving my back to him.

I assumed that from the 10 seconds that he took before walking past me and taking a seat, he was more than a little surprised by what I said.

"How did you figure it out?" Pluto asked once he had taken a seat opposite me.

I unsheathed my shield from bracelet form and rested it on my lap. "You were willing to break the Ancient Laws to be around me and Mum when Proserpina wasn't in the Underworld. You gave me a weapon with godly potential when you were forced to leave us because of the war. You even sent your wife to personally make sure your bastard son got to what you assumed was the only safe place for him during the middle of World War 2. And that was before Jupiter, no Zeus, was actively hunting down your children to try and kill them, which is why you kept me there for 70 years. It wasn't hard to assume you cared enough about me to immediately come find me once you sensed my use of powers for the first time. The fact it took you this long to appear and that you were holding your symbol of power basically led to only one conclusion. You've been silently observing me using the Helm since sometime earlier today. You were also on Olympus during the meeting judging by how calm you are and the fact I'm not currently being dragged down to the Underworld for my own safety."

Pluto smirked at that. "So Apollo didn't just tell you what to say to manipulate the Olympians. You really are just that intelligent." He complimented. I would have thanked him if not for the opportunity I saw present itself to keep someone alive.

"I'm also intelligent enough to know that it is highly probable that I have at least one sibling, that is still trapped in the Lotus Casino." I said, causing Pluto's eyes to widen in surprise before frowning.

"Look, I'm not expecting you to take them out of the place right now considering how I would most likely be dead if not for The Fates intervention. I just want to have the opportunity to be the one who keeps them safe once you decide they can come out of hiding." I said softly. Pluto seemed to contemplate my words before nodding in understanding. After meeting the Hunters, I was going to make sure Bianca didn't join them or die as one of them, this providing the perfect opportunity to start putting things slowly into motion.

"Thank you for the offer and I promise to let you know if they need you but it wont be anytime soon. And by the way, I would have ripped Zeus apart before he got his bolt anyway near you if The Fates didn't intervene." He said coldly, the same fire that my eyes had now flickering harshly inside his own, opposite to warmth I hoped mine normally exuded. I was a bit taken aback by the intensity of his words, something he seemed to notice as he immediately relaxed and his glare was replaced by a worried expression.

"I'm sorry son. It's just that the King of the Gods has attacked anyone I or my Greek counterpart hold dear, especially since that damn Great Prophecy was spouted. Which brings me to my next question. How do you know so much? Did you meet this entity that seems to have an interest in you and they told you?" He asked, surprising me with the amount of hostility he said the word 'entity' with.

"Erm… no I haven't met them, whoever they are. It's more like I was watching my whole life like a film up until the day I left the Lotus Casino, which was when I took control of my own body for the first time. I had knowledge of the Greco-Roman World for as long as I can remember, although I don't know how and I just couldn't do anything with it because I was watching myself interact with others yet I still felt everything emotionally that I, or whoever was controlling me, went through." I admitted, Pluto keeping up an emotionless façade throughout my explanation. "I would've thought that you would have been happy with this entity for essentially keeping me alive but it doesn't seem that way from your tone?"

Pluto sighed. "It's not that I am not happy that you're free of the prophecy, its just that nothing is ever given without a price. Especially a 'gift' like this. Some all powerful being is clearly interested in you and I doubt has given you this 'gift' for no reason. They want something in return, you should do well to remember that, and we don't know whether that puts you in more danger or less than you otherwise would be."

"I know that Father. As far as I'm aware, I am the first person to be free of The Fates ever if the confusion that racked through the throne room is anything to go by. Which probably means I will have to deal with something that's never been seen before and is highly dangerous. But it's also clear that if this entity doesn't want me to find out who they are or what they want, I won't. So worrying constantly about it isn't going to do me any good. For now, I just have to be grateful for the favours they are doing for me, trying to keep me alive." I answered honestly.

"You're fine with being in debt to someone you have no knowledge of?" Pluto asked cautiously.

"I don't really have a choice. Anything they have done for me, I've had no knowledge of beforehand so there is nothing I can do either but just live whatever life they seem to be setting out for me. So far it doesn't seem so bad and if I get to help people, I honestly don't mind at all." I replied with a shrug. The Lord of the Dead didn't seem to like that answer but he couldn't argue with it either.

There were another few moments of silence before Pluto laughed dryly. "You might still be my child but you are definitely no longer a kid. That's the first thing they took from you and it wont be the last." He finished bitterly.

"Really? I thought I lost my childhood when Nazis started dumping weapons of mass destruction over my head every night." I joked with no humour in my voice.

Pluto seemed to ignore that, clearly not comfortable with it. After all, it was his children and possibly him responsible for such things. "You know that the Olympians will have told Apollo that they don't expect you to be with him forever. That you will need to join the Legion or Camp Half-Blood at some point to earn their trust if you are that important of a piece in their lives as The Fates said. I can guarantee that much." He warned.

"Honestly, I didn't do this because I needed a place to stay and I didn't plan on being a part of the group forever anyway. I know my destiny lies elsewhere. It's just that I know that I can make a difference to peoples lives right now by doing this and I know I have the time to do so right now, so why not? The fact that it pisses off Artemis's hunt is a massive bonus as well," I joked. However, Pluto scowled at the mention of the hunt and the temperature seemed to drop a few degrees.

"Don't worry about those girls, when they make it to my realm they wont ever find peace after what they said about Priya." Pluto replied in a way that sent shivers up my spine, standing up as he did so as if ready to leave.

"Don't."

"What?" He asked, confused.

"Don't have them put in the fields as revenge. They might not be saints, but they still serve their goddess and do a lot more good than bad. Let them be judged fairly." I said, not even flinching at the flames now burning in his eyes as his anger grew.

"You would just tell me to let them get away with disrespecting your mother ad my love?" He asked furiously. I looked defiantly into his eyes, neither of our gazes wavering.

"Is that how you rule? Unjustly? Your personal grudges taking precedent over what is right? I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. After all, you had the daughter of Zeus killed by sending hordes of monsters after her when she did nothing to deserve your wrath." I replied in a harsh tone.

"ZEUS KILLED MY FAMILY AND LOVED ONES BECAUSE OF THE DAMNED PROPHECY AND THEN BROKE THE OATH HE MADE ME TAKE. THE OATH THEY DIED FOR!" Pluto boomed, releasing his aura, causing me to flinch. It was a pressure that was suffocating, fear striking at my heart. Yet I still did not admit defeat, did not cower before the being of immense power in front of me.

"So you took out your anger on an innocent girl. Well done Pluto, great work. Would you have put her through eternal suffering if she made it to the Underworld instead of being turned into a tree? A girl who sacrificed herself to save her two friends because they were the victims of a god's wrath they didn't deserve to have inflicted on them?" I spat back.

I don't know what would have happened next but I doubt it would have been good. Fortunately, at that moment a very angry looking Apollo appeared right next to me, a Celestial Bronze sword in hand. He looked to me frantically before noticing me untouched, causing his features to soften. Not a moment later, he switched to his Roman form, now an imperial gold Spatha in hand as he glared straight at Pluto.

"What the hell do you think your doing releasing your full aura in my camp and in front of the kid?" He growled at Pluto.

Pluto looked ready to respond with as much hostility until he took a quick glance at me. I liked to think of myself as brave and fearless as a son of the Underworld, but the pure dark, cold power that was emitting off the Lord of the Dead was enough to make me visibly tremble and cower, something Pluto picked up on as he looked at me.

Immediately, the aura seemed to retreat and dissipate as all anger disappeared from his face. Instead, he was now looking at me with concern, something I didn't really care for at that moment as I was pretty ticked off with the god. I definitely wasn't scared of him. Nah, not this demigod. Not at all… okay maybe just a little.

I just glared at him after regaining my composure as he opened his mouth to say something, before promptly shutting it, deciding better of it and melting into his own shadow. Just like that, my first interaction with my father since taking control of my body was over. And it was a damn mess.

Apollo turned to me with worry plastered on his face. "What happened?"

"Nothing. Dear old Dad just decided to pay me a visit." I replied, not turning to look at him. I wasn't in the mood to talk about it, something Apollo thankfully picked up on.

"Okay then. I needed to inform you about some of the things discussed after you left the meeting anyway." He said.

Apollo then went on to explain that their had been some ironing out of details done at the end of the council meeting regarding our group. When not sent to hunt monsters or on other missions by the Olympian Council, the Gods would be allowed to request that we find Roman children of theirs to send to the Wolf house, the Amazons if they were a girl and wanted to or offer them a spot in the Archers of Apollo. It was to be reserved for children who they knew were currently in danger as the gods wanted to mostly keep the tradition of a wolf of Lupa's pack picking up children of Rome to escort to the Wolf House. They didn't have Satyrs after all to protect demigods.

I was happy to hear that Apollo made sure that the minor gods were to be made aware they also had equal rights to ask us to go after their children. I wasn't a fan of the way they were treated, and had voiced my opinion on the matter to Apollo multiple times. Although he didn't share the exact same opinion or care as much as I did, he was accommodating of me and knew I would want to be available to save all demigods so he made sure that the Council agreed to it.

He also mentioned that I wouldn't be taking the oath that the other members of his Archers would because the council believed that I would need to leave at some point if I was to effectively help both Pantheons and Camps in the way the Fates had suggested, something I agreed with. It didn't really make a difference anyway as the blessing he had already given me was stronger than an Archer would get.

There was a slight snag that came up though. As he did not have the domain of the Hunt like Artemis, Apollo was a lot more limited in the way he could help the Archers. In terms of hunting monsters, he couldn't help us as much and he had to limit his power to that of just greater than a very powerful demigod if he did unless facing another deity, although that was similar to how Artemis worked apparently. Considering she was still allowed to turn an entire helicopter into a flock of birds during The Titan's Curse, I wasn't too worried since the rules of what a powerful demigod meant seemed to be flexible.

However, unlike Artemis, Apollo wasn't allowed to spend all his time with us as technically he shouldn't be hunting monsters unless they were at war or something along those lines according to the Ancient Laws. Which are just making absolutely no sense to me at this point by the way. Damn plot convenience. He could still come on specific missions assigned by Olympus or just hang out with us when we weren't doing anything, which he planned on doing, but things like saving other demigods he still wasn't allowed to do even if with his Archers.

It kind of sucked but there was nothing we could really do about it. After telling me everything I needed to know, Apollo told me to get some sleep as he had no doubt we would get a request from a god soon enough and then teleported away to probably enjoy the nightlife of some random city in America. I didn't expect him to change his entire lifestyle because of his new group after all.

Before he did leave though, he gave me a plain golden ring to wear. He said it had a connection to him so that if someone took the oath an Archer needed to take and Apollo wasn't around, it would grant his blessing as long as the wearer, who had to already be an Archer, accepted the oath. I decided to use Observe on the thing.

The Ring of the Archers

This imperial gold ring has a bit of Apollo's godly essence attached to it. It cannot be worn or held by anyone other than a member of the Archers of Apollo. If taken by someone else, it will heat up to the temperature of the Sun, effectively burning through anyone who tries. When worn by an Archer, it has the ability to give Apollo's blessing to a potential recruit as long as the wearer accepts their oath.

Oath- "I swear myself to the god Apollo. I swear to join his Archers and pledge my life to its cause, putting my patron and my brothers first
before all others."

The oath seemed simple enough and I knew the ring would be undoubtedly useful. I just needed to remember to make sure that each recruit swore on the Styx not to reveal any information I gave them on the fact that both the Roman and Greek Pantheons existed.

And so I spent the next 5 months going from state to state, recruiting demigods who's godly parent informed me of their whereabouts. Transport wasn't a problem as I had the Lotus Cash Card. Whenever I was close enough to a city, I preferred to move by foot as it allowed me to train at the same time. It also meant Apollo could hang out with me more and help out with my training. The first few demigods I was sent after weren't a problem to save as it was mostly just a monster or two hiding amongst them as school staff or students that put them in danger, which I could easily dispatch of. It was even easier as our numbers grew. There were one or two who suffered from domestic abuse but our superior reflexes and strength as demigods helped us easily take care of 'guardians' who didn't want to let the kids go.

During the first 5 months, I had helped save 15 demigods, a number that was surprisingly high and more than I had expected to get done considering the amount of travelling I had to do. During that time, 9 had decided to join the Archers whilst 5 had decided to leave for Sonoma Valley with a Wolf Lupa would send. We didn't even have to contact her, whenever a potential recruit decided they liked the idea of a safe haven like New Rome and the Legion better than Apollo's offer or the Amazons, a Wolf would appear at wherever we camped within 24 hours. It was a little disturbing but Apollo just said Lupa instinctually knew about when we found a new potential legionnaire, joking it was 'motherly instinct that the mother of Rome had'.

The 5 that left were two twins, a boy and girl, of Vulcan who didn't want to leave each other whilst the others the other 3 either didn't want to leave their mortal lives behind completely or just preferred the idea of serving the Legion and being able to stay in a city full of demigods and legacies that was actually safe, which I couldn't blame them for. There was also 1 girl who decided to go off on her own. Her name was Emily, daughter of Discordia, and I remembered her specifically because of the bitterness she held towards the gods. She said that her mother wasn't worshipped the same way the Olympians and other gods were, that it was wrong and she refused to go with the wolf that came to take her to Lupa, saying her mother was guiding her someplace safe where she would be respected. I had a suspicion that I knew who, rather than where, she was being guided towards and that Discordia was siding with the Titans already. But to throw such accusations with no proof that Saturn was even rising just wasn't an option. Reluctantly, I had to let her go, praying I never had to come across her in battle as enemies in the future.

The first four recruits were all different but soon became like brothers to me. We spent nearly every waking minute with each other training and hunting so it was inevitable that we became close friends. Apollo was also close to them all as he spent around 6 hours a day, 5 days of the week usually hanging out with us if we weren't saving demigods. He liked to spend 4 of those hours helping us train in combat as well as our hunting skills, both animal and monsters. We would then spend the other time just hanging out, eating or going into the city once in a while since we all lived in tents like mine, although everyone else shared. I was technically in command when Apollo wasn't there but I didn't have a title like Zoe did, it was more unofficial.

When we were asked to save our 16th demigod is when we first actually ran into a difficult situation. 5 of us current Archers were all sat in the communal tent during the evening just chatting on sofas whilst 'Best Of: Mercury Pranks Olympus' was playing on Hephaestus TV in the background. It was quite a large space that could fit around 20 people if needed, having plenty of sofas, 2 pool tables, a darts board and a self-replenishing mini fridge as seen in Vesta's tv show: 'How to make a palace a home'. Marcus was sat next to me counting denarii, the silver coins used as currency by the Romans, that he had taken from a small camp of Laestrygonian Giants nearby. He was a son of Mercury and seemed to have inherited his ability to steal absolutely anything and everything, loving money more than anything. More specifically, loving money he didn't earn. None of us really mind though as he didn't tend to steal from the rest of the group, except for the amount of times he as secretly searched me for the Lotus Card, which he is obsessed with for obvious reasons. He called my pocket dimension storage, a.k.a my inventory, a bullshit cheat code once I finally admitted he would never find the card after continually searching through my stuff for the first few weeks. He didn't even realise how close he was to the truth about the entire thing. I felt like I was cheating life with the system. I was quite happy to do so though.

Marcus was the first demigod I was sent to find and was 14 years old. He had dirty blonde hair that was cut short and choppy, and he was slightly tanned. He had azure blue eyes that held a mischievous glint that screamed child of Mercury. Mercury contacted us the morning after the meeting on Olympus, asking me to go find him as he was in imminent danger so I hopped on a train and headed straight for Albuquerque, New Mexico where he lived. I had to walk around the city for awhile but I finally found him when he literally ran head first into me. Turns out he was running from a group of telekhines and was freaking out at no one else noticing. A few arrows, a girlish scream and an explanation later and I had found my first recruit and best friend. He believed me almost instantly when I explained the divine world to him, I guess the telekhines didn't really leave much room for argument.

Apollo welcomed him to the Archers with open arms and ever since then we had been inseparable. Maybe its because we were so similar. Turns out that his mother had died when he was a kid as well, a car crash leaving him an orphan. Ever since then he had been bouncing around the system going from foster home to foster home, and I think he's the most grateful out of all of us that he had found a family within our group. He was also a great archer and one of the few who could keep up with me when we went on runs to keep up our fitness, if not out pace me most the time despite Gamer's Body stopping physical exhaustion from having any real affect on me most the time. His dad wasn't the God of travellers for nothing. He preferred to use a gladius at close range, his natural speed and dexterity making him agile and a natural swordsman, giving me a tough challenge when we sparred.

To our right, sitting on a recliner was Max, a son of Asclepius, god of Medicine. He was 13 years old and our resident healer, and boy was he good at it. Any injury, battlefield or otherwise, he knew a remedy or way to fix it. He also had the ability to heal others through his godly powers like me, although he tended to pass out for quite awhile afterwards so we only saved that for emergencies. He was a skilled archer, like everyone else, but was not a natural close combatant, preferring to stay at range if possible. It suited his role as battlefield medic as well.

Sat on our left and opposite Max was Jacob, son of Mars. He was 16 and actually knew he was a demigod befoorehand, choosing to never join the Legion and stay in the mortal world, although he never told us why. We didn't mean to find him actually, we just came across him cutting down a group of dracaenae in the woods of Utah, after apparently being ambushed by them near his Camp site. Although he had no official combat training, his experience and parentage made him the most skilled close quarters combatant in the group. He was also a smart battle strategist and I would often look to him for advice regarding how to go about efficiently dealing with groups of monsters along with Marcus.

Finally, sat on a bean bag chair half asleep was Benjamin, a demi-titan. No one else knew about this other than me, not even Apollo or Ben, and I wasn't about to get him in a bunch of shit just because I used Observe on the kid. He was 12 years old and we actually found him running away from home. His mother was a drunk who blamed her shitty life on him and had taken it out on Ben multiple times. His stats were high for his age, the same as what I would have expected of an Olympian demigod, making me fear what a possible child of an elder titan would look like. Ben was on par with me at Archery, which is to say he was amazing, and was our best tracker and hunter. That was due to his father's domains of hunting but I doubt anyone else would figure that out. It didn't seem to be that he had any control of the air either, another one of his father's domains, something that could have caused problems for us if he could and it was discovered. Once it was confirmed he wasn't a son of Jupiter, it would just bring too many questions so I was lucky he couldn't. He was also relatively quiet, mostly keeping to himself but he still felt like part of the family to everyone.

The other 5 Archers were currently hunting. Twice a week we would hunt game for dinner, splitting the hunt in half as it kept our hunting skills up to what Apollo expected of us, even if most weren't as skilled or expected to be as skilled as the Hunters of Artemis. We focused more on stealth and combat skill as well as archery, rather than tracking and hunting skills like the hunt. Anyway, we were all sat around chatting when I received an Iris-Message from Bellona, Goddess of War. A rainbow screen of mist popped up in front of me, startling me and everyone else. Bellona was analysing me from through the call, frowning and wearing a

full set of silver armour.

"You are Phoenix Dhana, Son of Pluto, correct?" She asked in a no nonsense tone.

"Yes Lady Bellona. What can we do for you?" I asked once I pulled myself together and bowed my head respectfully.

"I have a son who has recently been kidnapped and needs help. I know you are nearby to his location so can help him." She said stoically, although a hint of worry edged into her voice.

"We are happy to help. Where will we find him?" I asked.

"This is not an order for your group but rather just for you, son of Pluto." She replied in a commanding tone. I tried to hide my annoyance at her use of the word order, she clearly failed to realise that we weren't part of the Legion and as such she held no authority over us. I knew that mentioning this would just cause problems so I said nothing and quickly glared at Marcus, who himself looked ready to say something that wouldn't end well. Luckily, my glare shut him up.

"Why can't the Archers all go and help. It would be most efficient that way, would it not?" I asked, prying for information. Bellona didn't seem to like being questioned from the annoyance that flashed across her face.

"He is being held by Algea, daemons of the Underworld. Therefore, only children of the Underworld and gods can harm them. Your group would be just a distraction in completing your objective." She answered. I had no idea what Algea were but I wasn't taking any Archers with me if they wouldn't even be able to defend themselves, that was for sure.

"Fine, I will go by myself. Where will I find them?"

"A cave two kilometres east of your current location. Like I said, you are very close to them. You need to go as soon as possible; I do not know what they plan to do with him."

"Have you any more information on what I could face in the cave?" I asked.

"No, my son just stumbled upon the place…"

Lie detected!

"… and I only saw a glimpse of the Algea, I have no idea what you might find in the cave although the daemons are notorious for not playing nice with others." Bellona finished.

Lie detected!

My lie detection skill picked up on Bellona's bullshit but I knew I couldn't question a goddess' word right now without any proof. I was in a tough bind but had to go do this. I had no idea if the kid was innocent in all this and needed to be saved because of Bellona throwing him into a situation he couldn't handle.

Failure:
Death (by Bellona or during the quest)
Titans rise earlier than expected
Destruction of Olympus

Do you wish to accept?
[YES/NO]

Considering one of the consequences of failing was the destruction of Olympus, I thought I would get a bit more Exp for completing it, even if its more than I have been getting lately. This also confirmed that Bellona was lying about something as there was no way this was just some random daemon kidnapping but I kind off had to accept the Quest anyway. I told Bellona I would leave right away and slashed through the Iris-message with my hand. Just what had I gotten myself into?
