The Aftermath of The Murder of Dr. Sharon Orchid:

It was judgement day for Miss Jasmine Scarlet who was the entertainer at Oakwood Hall on Nature Valley. She was now on trial for murdering Dr. Sharon Orchid who was also a resident there.
"I'd like to call Miss Scarlet to the stand" said the barrister.

Jasmine made her way to the stand.

"Miss Scarlet, how long did you know Dr. Orchid?" she asked.

"Two years!" she replied.

"You were angry with Dr. Orchid why was that?"

"Dr. Orchid caring nature for her patients was fake all she cared about was her wage packet at the end of the month!" she answered.

"I see!" said the barrister.

"Could you kindly tell the court what happened that night?" the barrister enquired.

Jasmine nodded.
"I knew Dr. Orchid as she was my mental health consultant who reviewed my care weekly and she discharged me from Robert Scruff mental ward too early and couldn't be bothered about what me or my key worker Stephanie wanted. When I discovered she was living at Oakwood Hall I decided to seek my revenge. On that night I took a spanner from the tool box which was in the shed and when I noticed her in the conservatory I sneaked up behind her and battered her three times around the head with the spanner!" she told the court.

"Thank you Miss Scarlet" said the barrister as Jasmine was escorted back to the defence box accompanied by a prison officer.

After the defence and prosecution barristers had given their closing statements. The jury went and deliberated their verdict.
The next day dawned
"Could the defendant please stand" said the usher.

Jasmine stood up.

"Could the foreman of the jury stand" the usher asked.
The foreman of the jury stood up.
"Have you all reached a verdict that you all agree?" the usher questioned.
"Yes!" said the foreman of the jury.
"Do you find the defendant Miss Jasmine Evelyn Scarlet guilty or not guilty for the murder of Dr. Sharon Angela Orchid?" the usher queried.

"Guilty!" the foreman of the jury responded.

"Miss Jasmine Scarlet you've been found guilty of the murder of Dr. Sharon Orchid. I sentence you to the gallows where you'll hung by the neck until death" the judge ordered.

Jasmine had shown no remorse for the crime she'd committed as in her opinion Sharon was a healthcare professional and hadn't shown any care for her and her wellbeing and was very upset as it had made her mental health condition to deteriorate! In her mind she'd done the right thing.
