Reno was in total panic by the time he found Cloud passed out in the women's restroom. He would have found it hilarious that Cloud mixed up the ladies and men's rooms if the situation wasn't so dire.

The redhead tried to lift up Cloud. With some difficulty he managed to get the blond on his feet and fully lean on him. Before they could go anywhere though Cloud's phone rang. Reno checked it and saw the name. Awkwardly he answered it, placed it on speaker and put the phone in his front pocket.

"Cloud? Is everything all right?"

"Everything is fucktangular!"

"Reno? What are you doing with Cloud's phone?"

"The fuck you doing that you couldn't answer Cloud, huh? He's fucking passed out in the women's restroom on the 30th floor." The redhead snarled as he slowly made way to the exit, dragging the blond along.

"What? What happened?" Zack was now in panic mode.

"Why the fuck didn't you stay with him in the labs!? You know first timers have a high chance of getting sick! This whole situation could have been avoided if you had a fucking brain!"

"Look, I'm sorry! I hardly ever get sick from those appointments. I forgot some people can be sensitive. Also, why the hell are you so angry?"

"Because you weren't the one on the phone with him while he went crazy! He started hearing voices, man! That shit ain't okay!" Reno kicked the restroom door open.

"What you mean he started hearing voices? Repeat to me what floor again? I'm in the elevator."

"I'll let you hear the recording later. Just get your ass to the 30th floor. He's fucking heavy, yo."

"Whoa, hold up. You record all your calls?"

"Turk habit. Never know if we need information for any investigations later. Don't worry, I delete them all if nothing turns up."

"That's still a pretty messed up habit."

"It's nothing compared to your negligence!"

"Okay, now you're going too far."

"It's fucking true! You're lucky you called otherwise I would be calling up the general right now!"

"Calm down, will you? I'm almost to the 30th floor."

"Don't tell me to calm down, yo! I already wanna kick your ass for taking him to the church!"

"How do you know about that?"

"Cause he fucking told me!"

"I had a reason to take him there."

"Oh, yeah? This ought to be good, coming from First Class Idiot."

"Cut it with the names, will you? Damn. He needed to find a safe place to conquer his anger. And well, it worked first visit."

The doors open to reveal Zack. He hung up his phone and joined on the other side of Cloud and held him up. Together they made it back inside the elevator before the doors closed. Zack pressed the button for their next destination.

After a long moment of silence the lieutenant cleared his throat.

"Reno? I don't know how he got your number. But thank you. For coming to his aid while I was too busy in a work out." Zack held his head down. "I feel like such a failure."

"Don't say that, man. I'm sorry for all the things I said. But he scared the shit outta me."

"How did he get your number? He just got that phone, he only has my number."

"I gave it to him after the assessment. Didn't think it would have been useful, but I'm glad I did it. Can you imagine if he called the general? Fucking would tear the whole building down."

"I don't wanna think about it."

Before they arrived on their floor the doors opened. And their stomachs sank at the sight of Genesis and Angeal. All four men stared in shock. The doors tried to close when Genesis snapped out of it and raised an arm to open them again.

"This isn't what it looks like." Reno gulped.

"First time with the injections?" Genesis guessed, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah." Zack looked down to the floor.

The Commanders shared a look. With a sigh they entered the elevator and decided their spar could wait. Angeal gently gathered Cloud in his arms bridal style. Hands free from their burden Reno handed over Cloud's phone to Zack.

"You're free to go, Turk." Genesis tried to dismiss him.

"Actually, he stays." Zack didn't flinch under the heated glare from the red commander. "Cloud called him when he couldn't reach me."

"You left him alone after his first injection?" Genesis resisted the urge to burn the lieutenant.

"I forgot that some people are sensitive."

"How the hell can you forget such a detail?"

"He never had that problem, Gen. It's not his fault."

"Of course you'll stick up for your damn Puppy."

"Look, he already got an earful from me over it." Reno couldn't take it anymore. "I believe all of 30th floor heard me yell at him."

"30th floor? That's far from the labs." Angeal comments with a frown.

"Pretty sure he was delirious before he had to run to the nearest restroom."

"What were his symptoms when he called you?"

"I think he vomited before he called. And then after he sent me his location he started to get sleepy. I stayed on the phone to keep him talking. That was when things got weird."

"Weird how?"

"His words slurred. Gave short answers only. Towards the end he began to hear voices before he passed out."

"Voices? That's unheard of. Are you sure about that?"

"I have it all on recording on my phone. I record all phone calls made to me. Don't worry, I delete them if they're useless. I'll show you when we get to the suite."

"Afterwards you better delete it in front of us." Genesis snarled.

"Hold it, we may need a copy of it just in case this ever happens again." Angeal hoped this wouldn't become a regular occurrence.

The door opened for their floor. Genesis took the lead with Angeal behind him. Reno and Zack made up the rear. Upon entering the empty suite Angeal placed Cloud in the master bedroom. When he emerged Reno already had his phone out.

"Let's hear it." Genesis crossed his arms.

Reno played the audio recording. It all started off normal. They listened Cloud explain he couldn't reach Zack. Then it changed to Reno guiding him through the app to send his location.

All of the men heard the panic set into Reno as he desperately tried to keep Cloud awake. They heard the words slur, the worrying short answers. At the mention of pizza they all shared a look, remembering that day they made him pizza.

Then suddenly Cloud was coherent enough to speak longer sentences. He was quick to defend Zack. He even made a threat. The lieutenant bit his lip at the mix of emotions hitting him.

And then the light hearted conversation took a turn.

"Who's there with you? There's a strange voice."

Cloud's voice seemed confused. He seemed to have a hard time focusing.

"What are they saying?"

"Mother. Reunion. Reunion. Meteor. Reunion. Sleep. Sleep my sweet son."

The way he chanted was odd. This was different than the whole conversation. His voice was clear, words no longer slurred. It was as if he was under a spell.

"Cloud? Cloud! Cloudy boy! Can you hear me? Fuck! Shit! Fucking go faster already! Cloud, hold out a little longer, please. I'm almost there!"

Reno stopped the recording. The panic in his voice was enough. There was more of him yelling, but they didn't need to hear the agonizing short minutes to the end. The redhead eyed them all as they processed.

"Any ideas what that's about?" Reno raised an eyebrow.

"No clue." Zack shook his head.

"What's his relationship with his mother?" Angeal turned to his former pupil.

"He calls her now and then. But I don't think he's called her since he became SOLDIER."

In other words not since the night of the party.

"Reunion. Why is that word used the most? And then meteor. What meteor? At the end, it sounded like whoever this voice was, was telling him to sleep." Genesis pondered.

"I suggest we wait until he wakes up and see how he is. If he doesn't remember anything, then we don't bring it up." Angeal suggested.

"What do we tell Sephiroth?" Zack dreaded that moment.

"We just tell him that his first injection earned a reaction."

"He's going to know it's more than that. He can read us like a book." Genesis knew lies were pointless.

"Can you send one of us a copy of that audio recording to show to Sephiroth later?" Angeal saw his friend's point.

"Can't do that. Too much of a risk of it getting out. But you know what I can do? Write a transcript. Make it look like a play." Reno thought of it on the fly.

"I suppose it will do."

So Reno left. Once the door closed behind him he realized his hands were shaking. This continued on even as he made it to his floor. Rude caught sight of him and stopped.

"You all right, partner?"

"Nah. No I'm not all right, partner."

"Wanna talk about it?" Rude gestured to their office.

"No. There's something boss needs to listen to. If you wanna come, you can."

Together they reached Tseng's desk. At the pale expression on the redhead the head Turk ended the call briefly.

"You look like you've seen a ghost."

"I think you need to hear this, boss. Something about it just don't sit right with me." Reno pulled out his phone.

"All right. I'm all ears." Tseng leaned back in his chair.

Reno pressed play. When it was done they remained silent. Rude placed a hand on his partners shoulder as a means of support.

"Anyone else who knows of this?"

"Zack, Angeal and Genesis. They agreed if he wakes up and doesn't remember then don't bring it up. Oh, and they wanted a copy of this. I told them the best I can do is a transcript."

"Good thinking." Tseng wasn't happy with the news, but he was glad Reno kept a good head on him.

"So what do we do?"

"We file this away. If this sort of thing continues and we have more evidence, then we open an investigation. In the meantime we keep a constant eye on Cloud. It will be easier if it was you, Reno. You have a better reason to check on him while my hands are tied with the legal matters."

"Sure thing, boss." Reno nods.
