Heeere it is, the Power Rangers adaptation of The Night Is Short, Drive On, Girl! Oh, and if you thought I'd base it on Super Megaforce, you miscalculated. It's based on Power Rangers Pirate Crew by Scsigs.

After they married, Dillon took Summer's last name. Same happened to Tenaya when she married Ziggy.

An Unspecified Amount Of Time Ago

"Will she be alright, Dr. K?" asked a man in his late 30s-Dillon Landsdown, the RPM Ranger Operator Black. Next to him was his wife Summer, the RPM Ranger Operator Yellow.

"Don't worry. If this goes well, not only will she be alright, she'll be reborn, better and stronger than before." said Dr. K, a young woman in her late 20s in a lab coat, overlooking the process of repairment. Connected to a buncha living wires and machines was a dark-brown-haired 19-year-old girl, who looked a bit like Summer.

Suddenly, the door whooshed open, and a small group of people piled in. They were Scott Truman and his wife Gemma with their daughter Kelly AKA the Mammoth Ranger, Ziggy Grover and his wife Tenaya with their son Percy AKA the T-Rex Ranger, Flynn McAllistair and his husband Gem with their adoptive daughter Melody AKA the Triceratops Ranger, and Kelly's girlfriend Anthia. "Where is she?!" Scott was saying, "I need to see my goddaughter!"

"Don't worry." said Summer. "She's right here." She then pointed to the direction where the girl was being repaired.

Kelly approached the unconscious girl, tears welling up in her eyes. "No..." she cried, then collapsed to the floor, her parents and girlfriend rushing in to comfort her.

"Who could have done such a thing?" asked Scott, anger evident in his voice.

Dillon shook his head. "I don't know, but I do know one thing. If I ever get my hands on whoever crippled my baby girl, it'll be their last day alive!"

Just then, a whoosh signaled that the repairment process was over, and the now fully-mechanized girl opened her eyes. "Mom? Dad?"

"Calixia!" said Summer as she ran forward, and took her daughter in her arms. "Thank the heavens, you're alive!"

"Are you kidding me, mom? Of course I'm alive!" said Calixia. "I'm sorry, everyone, I..."

"No, it wasn't your fault." said Dr. K. "And now you're upgraded, so that the same thing won't ever happen to you again. Your new body's made out of the same material that composes the RPM Zords, specifically Dillon's Wolf Cruiser. The only difference is, you can still learn and grow like normal humans."

"Does that mean...I'm part-Zord now?" asked Calixia.

"Aye." said Flynn. "Yer the first of yer kind."

Now

A female cyborg named Calixia Ewing was reciting a poem at a fancy diner, for an event.

This unfrequented place to find some ease—

Ease to the body some, none to the mind

From restless thoughts, that, like a deadly swarm

Of hornets armed, no sooner found alone

But rush upon me thronging, and present

Times past, what once I was, and what am now.

Oh, wherefore was my birth from Heaven foretold

Twice by an Angel, who at last, in sight

Of both my parents, all in flames ascended.

"Wow. Well, that was, uh, disturbing." said her coworker, Basco of Dante, from the tables as the cyborg got up and left the stage, making room for the next person.

"Shame we can't bring Kairi here, eh?" asked Calixia, sitting down next to the Armada privateer.

"Yep, apparently, bringing pets into this place is prohibited." said Basco.

Just then, Calixia's wrist began beeping, and she groaned before bringing up an image. It was Levira of Karta, the technician and engineer of the Armada and Emperor Mavro's foster daughter who had been giving her upgrades since day one.

"Levira, I'm on my break. I thought we agreed no commissions on break time."

"Landsdown, we need your assistance."

Everything froze. Basco put his wine down and tilted his head curiously. Everyone's eyes were fixed on her. She quickly ran over to an obscure place, and checked her wrist again.

"Levira! What do you think you're doing, ay? You can't throw that name around, it's…"

"There was a reason why I used that name, First Officer. This commission requires the daughter of Corinth specifically." the Kartan said calmly.

"…oh." Calixia sat down. "So it's THAT kind of mission."

"I apologize. Was there anyone in the vicinity?"

"Well, by the time you contacted me, I was in a diner full of people, and there was Basco too, so..."

"Does he have other obligations?"

"Not really, no. Why?"

"Tell him not to interfere, then."

"Alright, Levira. Calixia out." said the woman, then turned the transmission off.

LATER...

"Sorry, Basco. I'll explain." said Calixia once the privateers were back at their ship. Okay, so I guess I should start at the beginning. Or, wait, I should probably clarify some things first, or else this'll all just be extremely confusing. Okay, fact number one. I'm not Calixia Ewing. Fact number two, I'm not technically 100% human. You see, technically, I'm half-human, half…You know about the RPM Rangers, right?"

"I do." said the Dantein.

"My last name is, in fact, Landsdown. My father's RPM Ranger Black, and my mother's RPM Ranger Yellow. And the reason I'm looking like this? Well, I had an accident when I was nineteen, during a family trip to Japan. There, we encountered some evil robot, who said he worked for an organization called the Barbaric Machine Clan Gaiark. Through sheer wit and luck, I outran him, and for retribution, he followed me to America and crippled me, damaging my body beyond repair. Thankfully, Dr. K found me and...she rebuilt me." said Calixia.

Basco placed a hand on his chin, studying the girl in front of him. Oddly enough, it made sense. Calixia had Ranger Black's height, hair, energy, attitude, but she had the same eyes and facial features as Ranger Yellow. Plus, now that he thought about it, that hairstyle DID look a bit like that of Ranger Black's.

"What's the commission?" he simply asked.

"I...the Armada wants me to seduce Pirate Crew Blue, and then get rid of him." said Calixia, flushed a bright red. "Turns out you weren't the only one jealous of him, so was that idiot prince of theirs."

The two privateers shared a hearty laugh.

"What strategy do you plan to use?" Basco asked.

"SEE." replied Calixia. "It's an acronym for Seen Every Time Everywhere. I will appear in front of him as frequently as possible, ensuring our meetings push beyond the realm of mere chance, and he'll have no choice but feel the red string of fate! Thus, he'll fall for me and that's where I strike."

Kairi clapped her cymbals together in delight. Basco grinned, then exclaimed "Speaking of that, Callie, I just caught news that there the Red Galleon's laying anchor for a few weeks here in Encino, perhaps you'll come across your target sooner than anticipated..."

Calixia chuckled at the nickname.

The Next Day

"One Piña Colada, please!" said Captain Marvelous of Andresia as he entered a cocktail bar in Encino, and the bartender complied. In all honesty, his love for rum was so pure that all the waters of Titharia, an ocean planet, could be made out of it for all he cared. Soon, he was joined by his crew, Joe of Nastarica, Robin of Ellerin, Vivi of Famille Noir, Leonard or "Doc" of Xybria and John "Chip" Baumik of Earth.

Everyone ordered a cocktail of their color, save for Chip, who ordered a Mint Julep.

Calixia saw her chance, then took her place next to Joe. "Looks like you can hold your drink. Have one on me." she said coolly, then called out "Get this blue boy a blue Margarita!"

"WHAT?! Oh, no, I..." said the Nastarican.

Soon, the bartender brought out a blue Margarita and Calixia began speaking. "Calixia Landsdown." she introduced herself using her true name. "You're Pirate Crew Blue, am I correct?"

"So you're the fabled daughter of Corinth, right?" asked Chip, getting up from his seat. "Nice to meet you! I'm John Baumik, Pirate Crew Silver! You can call me Chip!"

"Buzz off." Calixia snapped, leaving Chip stunned. She then placed an arm around Joe and declared "So, after a lot of thinking...I decided to honor my parents' legacy and join you guys. Find out what's valuable and hold tight."

"So you're joining us?" Doc asked.

"Hell no." said Calixia. "You might have good intentions, but like hell I'm gonna be a pirate willingly. Besides, the RPM spirit is strong in my soul. I'd rather fight the Armada in my own way. By the way...you have a pretty nice body, don'tcha?" she said, stroking Joe's abs.

"Hey, whaddaya doing to my first officer?!" yelled a tipsy Marvelous as he got up and punched Calixia in the face. She was knocked out, her black armor rippling.

"Quite the boyfriend you have there...what a shame, guess I'll have to seek hot action somewhere else." said the half-Zord as she got up.

"He's not my boyfriend." Joe snorted. "I'm...um, it's complicated. Long story short, if things were different, I would totally get with him but ever since...him, I swore that I'd never let another man love me."

Calixia nodded. Guess she'll have to question Levira about this sometime soon.

Even after that awkward night, Calixia kept appearing in front of Joe. Of course, it was all part of Operation SEE.

"You again?!" yelled the blue first officer.

"I was only passing by chance!" replied the black half-Zord.

"You again?!"

"I was only passing by chance!"

"You?!"

"I was only passing by chance!"

"Y..."

"...ance!"

After bumping into Joe several more times, Calixia entered a cocktail bar and pulled out her phone, which was beeping.

Basco (Captain Pervert) texted Calixia Ewing (Callie)

Callie:Oh, god, Basco, what is it with you?

Captain Pervert:Just wanted to know how's it going.

Callie:No progress yet. But at least you don't have to worry about your Marvie going after Joe again, I found out the blue boy is afraid of being with other men. Wait until that airhead Vekar hears this...

Captain Pervert:Wouldn't THAT be a hoot!

Callie:Interesting to see, indeed.

She ended the text and ordered a Pink Lady. She was already looking forward to the next day.

"Enjoyed stalking me, eh, Miss Corinth?" said a male voice, making her turn around.

"Pirate Crew Blue?!" cried Calixia, startled.

"The name's Joe." said the man in mention, several cocktail glasses lying about his spot. "I'm not sure what you see in me for you to keep bumping into me, but I'd appreciate it if you cut it out."

"Nuh-uh." Calixia mocked. "Besides, I weren't stalking you. I was only passing by chance."

"Really?" Joe snorted. "Because it didn't seem like that to me." He then drew his sword and put the blade to the half-Zord's neck before asking "What are you hiding?"

"Nothing." said Calixia. "I'm just attracted to you, that's all. I saw you fight. It was more alluring than any Power Ranger I've met before. It made me wonder what you're like in bed."

"Way to make it blatant. You can try and get me into bed until the cows come home, but I will never do it with you. I have my standards, and stalkers aren't my type. I hear your parents have a strong sense of justice, what would they say about this?" said Joe, with a flushed face.

"But I'm not my dad or my mom, right?" Laila whispered.

The Nastarican gulped. The gall of this woman! "No. You're not." he said.

"If you don't want me, then I respect your wish." she said before emptying her cup and making a beeline for the door.

"Wait!" Joe cried. "I...I actually think you're pretty interesting as well." He then wobbled over to her before collapsing in her arms.

Calixia sighed. Looks like she had to take care of him for the night.

Aboard the Gigant Horse, Prince Vekar sighed, thinking of the two different loves he had. Since his younger years, he had only been attracted to men, and had a planet-sized crush on Sid DeFranco especially. Sometimes, he considered telling him, since the Armada weren't particularly discriminatory about same-sex relationships.

But, alas, there were two things Vekar had to keep in mind. As the Crown Prince, he was expected to marry a woman, preferably one of noble birth, so he could produce an heir, and if he failed to do that, his already bad reputation would fall even harder. There were some times the unfortunate prince would come to envy his younger brother Vrak—due to not being the heir, Vrak was free to flirt with any person he found attractive, gender be damned.

Unfortunately, Vekar soon found out that his beloved Sid favored that Joe boy above all else, even going so far as to betray the Armada for that one boy. Thankfully, the Armada's scientists helmed by Levira, his foster sister, managed to preserve Sid within a new body, reprogrammed to fit the Armada's purposes, turning him into the cyborg known as Biorg. Now said cyborg was always at Vekar's side, and the prince's feelings never changed as well. In fact, they only grew, since Biorg was loyal to him and only him. But there was one big problem—during the process that turned Sid DeFranco into Biorg, the man had been stripped of human emotions, so even if Vekar confessed, he wouldn't be able to reciprocate.

Right now, he felt like the most unlucky person in the whole entire universe.
