Hiii. I'm back! Kinda. My writing sucks and I know that. I'm trying to finish this story because I kinda want to move on. I have so many ideas and I just want my writing to become better. I like writing but I have so many writers block or I just forget. So I'm going to try and keep up with writing. Let me know what you think!
She was sitting at her balcony. It was small but big enough for her to lie down. Her mind was racing. Why did everything had to be so complicated? She wanted to feel numb. But right now nothing could make her feel that way. Cutting wasn't doing it for her any more. She couldn't hide the cuts she made from Eli. She was too afraid that she and Eli would go further then kissing and she didn't want to see her that way. She remembered that Glen always kept his liquor downstairs. Before she could think about it she ran downstairs. She was happy Glen and Helen were out and didn't see her. She quickly grab the bottle and ran upstairs again. Before she could even look what it was she took a big gulp. She felt the liquor burning in her throat but she didn't care. Before she even knew, she was half way through the bottle. Her phone rang and before she even looked at the caller ID she clicked it away. Her phone kept ringing. After the 6th time she picked up. ''If you call one more time I'm just going to shut it off.'' She screamed. ''Clare! Finally, I was worried. Are you okay?'' She heard Eli worried voice. But she didn't want to hear it. ''Bye Eli.'' Before he could respond she hung up and shut her phone off. Before she realised it the bottle was empty. She walked back over to her bed and lied down. She felt nothing. And that is all she wanted.
Eli heard Clare her voice over the phone. She wasn't talking like she normally would. He started to worry. He grab his car keys and sprinted out off the door. He tried to drive on the speed limit but he wanted to be with Clare as soon as possible. Nothing could stop him. When he pulled up he noticed that it was pretty dark in her house. He also saw no cars up front so nobody but Clare was home. At least, he hoped. He knew where the spare key was, so he lifted the flower pot and found the key. He opened the door and run upstairs. He didn't even bother to knock on the bedroom door. He saw Clare laying in bed, with all her clothes and shoes still on. He saw an empty bottle of liquor laying on the floor and her balcony door wide open. He closed the door and set the bottle on her desk. He took off her shoes and pulled up a blanked for her. He knew she was drunk and drank whatever was left off that bottle. But he didn't want to wake her up and be mad at her for doing that. He knew she would be having a hangover tomorrow morning so he decided to stay. Clare was only laying on one side of the bed so he slide off his shoes and pants and laid next to her. He worried sick about her. But he didn't know how to get trough to her. He just hoped he could stop her for doing anything more stupid then she already was. He took a deep breath, trying to relax. Clare rolled over in her sleep and was now almost on top of Eli. He sighed. This is not the Clare he knows.
Eli woke up at 9 am. Clare still fast asleep. Eli knew he had to talk to Clare today about her drinking from last night. But he didn't want to get into another fight with her about this. He heard Clare groan. ''Please, turn off the lights.'' Eli laughed a little when he hears her say that. ''I would but that is the sun. I can't turn that off.'' Clare looked surprised when she saw Eli laying besides her. ''What are you doing here?'' ''I found you passed out on the bed. So I decided to stay with you.'' Clare groaned again. She felt vomited coming up so she ran into the bathroom. Eli following her to hold her hair back. It took a couple off minutes for Clare to empty out her stomach. She flushed a took a seat next to the toilet. Eli walked over to the cabinet and pulled out two white pills for her and a glass off water. ''Here. Then you will feel better soon.'' ''Thanks.'' She said with a little smile. She took the pills and hoped they would kick in soon because the headache was killing her. ''You know, you didn't have to stay.'' ''I know. But I kinda want to be here for your first hangover.'' Eli laughed. ''What time is it?'' She asked. ''9:15. Why?'' ''Crap, I have my exam in 45 minutes.'' She quickly got up and ran to her bedroom. Pulling out something she could wear to school. She didn't even bother to send Eli out the room while changing. He already saw it all so why bother? ''Are you sure you're going to be okay doing an exam right now?'' Eli asked. ''I kinda have to don't I?'' Clare sighed.
A week later
Clare was finally done with exams. She was exhausted but relived that she was done. Eli never asked about the cutting or the drinking. He figured she needed to focus on exams more then anything right now. But now that she is done, he wanted to talk to her more then ever. He suggested that they would talk over dinner. His parents were out tonight so he decided to cock a meal for Clare. He was busy in de kitchen and waiting for Clare to come over. He almost jumped when he heard a soft knock on the door. ''Good evening, my lady.'' He said when he opened the door for Clare. Clare tried to smile, but Eli could see that she wasn't herself again. ''Clare, what's going on?''
